Mission Pizza Delivery Startup Firepie Is Now Selling Wood-Fired Pizzas Topped With Birria | Eater SF

"Operating out of a trailer on the edge of the Mission, I’ve seen Firepie — which has been around since 2016 — build a reputation for speedy deliveries of a tight menu of loosely Neapolitan-style pies via its own delivery app. Two weeks ago they launched a $15.90 limited-edition “pizzabirria” topped with onions, cilantro, and birria sourced from near Tacos El Patrón; founder Rick Richman said it will be available at least through the end of March, the pies have nearly sold out on a couple of occasions, and he might consider adding it as a permanent menu item if Tacos El Patrón is open to it. Apart from this pizza, the company doesn’t appear to have any particular connection to Mexican cuisine, and its stated mission emphasizes simplicity, convenience, and quality." - Luke Tsai

This was our first, and unfortunately last, visit to this location. We ordered the lunch special, a pizza or salad and drink, which was affordable for the quality. The service was quick and appreciated. We overlooked that the server neglected to provide the drink cups and needed to be reminded. Thin crust Margarita and veggie pizzas were brought to our table, the latter was slightly overcooked but to our liking. The fresh field of green salad was delicious with a nice mix of flavors. However, spinach was substituted as they ran out of salad greens by early afternoon due to poor planning. While the food was fresh and hot, the restaurant lacked in many areas, resulting in the 2 star review. The utensils and napkins were completely out, the majority of tables were dirty, trash was overflowing, paper towels were out in the restroom, floors were filthy. In comparison to the Tanger Outlet location, which was extremely clean and had wonderful customer service, we expected a similar experience, but were sadly disappointed with our experience at the Park Central location. The sole female server was friendly and welcoming, trying her best to accommodate us, however, the remaining unmotivated male staff were idle and not at all concerned with the cleanliness of the restaurant or the customers experience. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this location and hope management makes the necessary improvements for future customers.

I had lunch with coworkers. The service was fast, but right when we got in, a decent sized line turned behind us. I had a build your own pizza, and it was delicious. They have lemonade next to the soda dispenser, and it's not overly sweet. Nice atmosphere. The music isn't too loud. Recommended.

Google
Unique find in a business/educational district. Many options for toppings. Quick delivery. Good personal pizza!

The food here is delicious. I had a great experience at this location with Brian. He and his team made the perfect pizza it was so good.

Google
Gotta tell ya, this was darn good pizza. Delivery arrived hot and crust was crisp. Pepperoni was tasty and I got the chunky tomato sauce.

Moe M.

Google
Custom made, single serve pizzas that taste pretty good. The gentleman that made my pizza helped to make the right decisions for the type of pizza I was hoping to make. He was both friendly and professional. Once the ingredients were on the pie, it took about 10 min before it was delivered to my table. The pizzas are very thin crust; NY style. If in the area, would visit again.

Google
The cauliflower crust build your own with all the veggies I want and with non dairy cheese has been a winner! They fire it to the right degree of crispness for the crust and the doneness for the veggies. Since I’d changed my eating to be more plant based I’d missed having pizza, because meat lovers was the way. Now, I’m just as satisfied and can get my pizza fix with this healthier alternative. Thanks Fired Pie! You’re forever in my future!

Google
The closing night crew (young man and young lady) on Monday November 3rd provided exceptional customer service! They were so friendly and accommodating. We will absolutely be back. Thank you!

Yelp
So I have been coming to fired pie since they came to Arizona and they never miss. I really enjoy the pizza EVERY TIME because I am a crust guy and I narrow it down to how dough is made Not only that but they have the option that I like Kalamata olives, black olives pesto, feta salami pepperoni and bacon bits spicy sausage barbecue topping ranch topping garlic oil etc When I go looking for pizza I look for specific things and usually fired pie hits on all cylinders every time so that's why I'm going to continue coming When you get your pizza to your table and the pizza comes on a paper like presentation and it shows you that they are paying attention to your order because each of your ingredients on your pizza is marked with a black pen in the name of your items is what's circled. Not only that but they have a window where you could see your ingredients being put on the pizza and they're not "iffy" and tight about how much of whatever ingredient you're asked for They have a reward program through the toast local app and you can show your QR code as you pay for each Pizza and it all adds up The only drawback is I wish the lemonade were a lot sweeter cuz it's cold and refreshing wherever I Go whether it be Pizza,Boba or whatever..ambience usually is not a factor.. that being said fired doesn't have any issue in any of these areas to get people in the door it is what it is but since it's in Park Central it's trendy music and an inviting environment they want you to come eat pizza and talk about your work schedules your break hang out with a friend or whatever. The Park Central location has a"appreciation board or you can give praises say great things network with people I guess... I posted

Yelp
5 stars for being one of the fast food restaurants open the latest in this area. Conveniently located in near our hotel we stayed at (Home2Suites). Stopped for pizza, salad, and rotoli (similar to garlic knots) before they closed at 8pm to take back to our hotel. It was the perfect quick meal to take back to the kids. The food and service were good, quick, and I have no complaints!

Yelp
Updating review to 1 star because I emailed doug@firedpie.com to give it another go. Sure, we all have bad days. But I've received no response from Doug. Pretty typical these days. All these managers do is say one thing publicly so it appears as though they are being proactive then when they get taken up on their offer to do better, they bail. Nice work Doug from Fired Pie!

Yelp
Since when did croutons count as a topping on a salad. Ridiculous!!! The guy who made my lil salad gave me the wrong lettuce, then add tiny portions of the 3 veggies I asked for, so the salad was mostly ice burg even tho I asked for mixed greens and Romaine mixed. Then tried to charge me .75 cents for croutons! What a crock of crap. Won't be going back

Yelp
My husband went to order and bring home rotoli and salads night before last. First, the kids working at the restaurant could hardly look up from their phones to give him the attention so he could place the order and then they acted annoyed that they had to at all. When my husband got back we noticed that the feta Rotoli was tiny and burnt on the bottom while the other kind was huge and burnt on the top. They had obviously been left out to sit under warming lights for too long or they just left them in the oven and burnt them. The lettuce for the salads was not great. Definitely a little brown. I woke up at 3 AM and threw it all up. I would not eat here again unless you want to throw up. The whole thing was just nasty.

Song Of Y.

Yelp
The counter areas were splattered with food. There was a used prep glove in with the mozarella. The 2 guys acted very indifferent. There was zero customer service. They were out of chicken toppings as well as parmessan shakers ans packages.

Amber W.

Yelp
Went here for dinner. Ordered two 11" pizzas for family to share. The pizza was really extra greasy with no crust. Oil was dripping from pizza. No plates were offered and the guys behind the counter were talking about their recent sexual accomplishments and even one who had a boyfriend! He seemed to be happy about that. Won't be going there again

Yelp
I've called several times within a hour of closing and they flat out tell me no to let me order. Why would you make your hours show that you're open until 8 if you refuse to make an order after 7pm. Won't customer service ever. Restaurant was completely trashed and dirty, you can tell that the owner and management take no pride in providing a clean professional restaurant.

Annie S.

Yelp
I started coming to this fired pie from Scottsdale because the gentleman that worked there had great customer service he made my pizza exactly how I wanted it. Went back today to find he no longer worked there and asked the girl to add extra sauce she did not also asked for extra toppings and she added 2 pieces of everything I asked extra of. I told her I'm sorry mam I drove an hour for this pizza please add a little more. I'm a restaurant manager myself so I totally understand the portion control but I didn't ask for extra on very many things just sauce fresh motz and sausage and she added 2 pieces extra of each topping there's one closer to my house I will go there we only drive the extra distance for the good customer services we received before. Also the other girl was touching her uniform doors body and other stuff not food related and made the next family's pizza so nasty that is a big no for me. Sad to have yo not come here anymore as we come every Sunday bring the other kid back he had soft people skills and was good and excited about his job these girls don't care even about health violations dirty gloves with customers is not ok

Gene H.

Yelp
no fresh mozzarella no fresh tea coffee grounds sitting on beverage counter- waiting for personnel to continue making coffee in store customers kept waiting for catering order. no concern for time constraints of in store lunch patrons has turned into an online concern with no regard for customer service

Mel K.

Yelp
Pizza is usually good but we have dealt with a lot of inconsistency in terms of topping and cheese amounts lately, as well as a few bad bakes. They would get 5 starts for their pizza at its best though. For the high price tag, consistency should be a given. Wait time is never too long, we always get to go but the vibe in restaurant is great, causal upscale. We likely won't order here again because our last two pizzas were disappointing and when I tried to call the person on the phone said there was nothing they could do and hung up. I say if you're going to order eat inside so they have to be accountable for the condition of the pizza.

Ryan E.

Yelp
Waited 20 minutes when it was super slow to just order and was met with rude employee Alex. She made it complicated to order for the first time and was just yapping to another worker while spitting on my food. Girl with green hair was pretty dope tho. Food was decent. Restaurant was clean.

Kenneth K.

Yelp
Disappointed 1) cold pizza delivery 2) missing items - dessert- 3) online order not clear -"one topping pizza includes cheese only" When called for explanation , "we did not charge you for the items not received ". However I would have changed my order if I knew items not available. I'm sure they have my contact 4) quality - average 3 out of 5 My opinion -Ken

Yelp
Oh my word!!! Loved the pizza we ordered! Called order in, then picked it up to take back to air B and B to eat! The mushrooms were the best I've ever had! Just great pizza all the way around! Great prices too for what you get! Friendly staff! And a plus being able to park at no charge to eat inside, or pick up to go!
google avatar

Yelp
We came there on 12/15, a dark haired tied in a top knot bun female made our pizza. The issue we had was a food handling issue. She was wearing gloves. While wearing the gloves, she made our pizza, did not remove them when handling the register, plus she didn't even place our pizza right away in the oven, and after touching the keys of the register, she touched our food with the same dirty gloves.

Steven S.

Yelp
I've been coming to this fired pie for years but today I came in and got an undercooked pizza and I'm pretty sure it was the manager cooking and when I sat down this man wouldn't stop staring at my husband it was so uncomfortable so we left! There's only limited fired pies now but I can't go back to this one
google avatar

Yelp
Fired pie is very similar to all the make your own pizza places. They all offer the light thin crust and your choice of toppings or their recommendations. The place is clean, organized, food is fresh, and cooked well.

Yelp
This was my first experience at a Fired Pie. The location is in a unique area with a beautiful courtyard (if you walk around the area, you'll see some awesome cacti) and plenty of parking (at least that was the case on a Saturday). I had the spring mix salad with roasted veggies. The roasted veggies had no crispness to them. If you like your veggies soggy, you'll like these. For me, leaving the soggy veggies off would have made it a better salad. The salad was huge, though, and it ended up being passed around our table but evidently was thrown away. I did have a slice of the Hawaiian pizza from another member of my party and that was ok, but not anything special, more like a frozen pizza from a grocery store.
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
This Fired Pie is hidden away on Central but it does have a huge parking lot. This is not where you go for a romantic dinner for two. Fast food pizza and salad for a reasonable price. My pizza, a Hawaiian barbecue, had great flavor, especially because I added jalapeños. Sweet and spicy with a delicious barbecue sauce. The rest of the group was not especially pleased with their pizza or salads. The decor is fast food. When we were there, there was an equal number of take-out orders as eat-in orders.

Yelp
If you're a fan of make-your-own-pizza shops, you'll like Fired Pie. You can choose from multiple different crusts and fit as many vegetables and additional toppings as possible on your pizza. Prices are cheap, and food came out quickly. Remember back in the day when you'd get a personal pizza from Pizza Hut? Fired Pie is a customizable, slightly larger and definitely fancier version of that. I ended up splitting a pizza (we jazzed up one of the menu items to make a supreme-style mishmash) and the buffalo chicken caesar salad. The salad was good - nothing fancy - and the chefs warmed up the buffalo chicken for me, which was a very nice touch. I wasn't entirely impressed with the pizza; there's a chance that our flavor combination wasn't great, though, and that's not the restaurant's fault. One thing Fired Pie could improve on - wine selection. When we went, they were entirely out of all red wine and only had some small theater-style bottles of one variety of white (and who wants white wine with their pepperoni pizza?). There's tons of excellent pizza restaurants in the Valley, so the additional cocktails and wine options really help determine whether we'll be back again or not. That said, this restaurant seems like it caters more to the busy business lunch crowd. It's more of a fast-food restaurant than a sit-down place. Fine for a quick bite, but I probably won't go out of my way to come back.

Yelp
Hello, today was my first time trying out your establishment and I want to say it was by far one of the worst experiences I have had in awhile. My coworker and I ordered food online due to us having a short lunch its more ideal for us to order online and then pick up the order. Once we got to the store at 3110 N Central #107. I overheard one of your staff members complaining about receiving to many online order. The employee in question I was not able to get her name but she is working now 3/7/24 @12:14pm. She is a African American woman with huge eyelashes. Your employee proceeded to say that we were lazy and should have to come in and order instead of placing orders online. Not only did I feel disrespected once we received our order and made it back to work, our pizza was burnt the mushrooms was burnt and the veggies were extremely hard. I typically do not make complaints I just roll with the punches. As a first time customer or any customer for that matter this is very disappointing and upsetting as I spent money with this company and was treated so poorly and my food also came out a disaster. This needs to be rectified or at least addressed customers do not deserve to be treated the way we were today. Thank you,

Yelp
I love fired pie pizza! I have not tried their specialty pizza yet. Every time I have visited I have tried to build your own pizza. Even during lunchtime when it is crowded the service is pretty fast. Their salad menu looks pretty good as well I may try that in the near future. I love there a thin though and the pizza has always been cooked perfectly. It's never burnt crispy. The place is organized and clean. Parking is pretty easy. I have only tried another pizza joint that is similar to fired pie until recently but after going to fired pie it has become my favorite pizza place! lovely place for a quick lunch take out!

Yelp
Fired Pie is close by to work, normally come here once in awhile with colleagues or to meet up with a few friends during lunch time (It does get busy during normal lunch hours between 12-2). It does get loud- if you're trying to have a quiet lunch this may not be the place, and they do have plenty of seating space! Every-time I've been here never had an issue with seating. My Order Consisted Of: Self made pizza, super delicious! If you never had added grapes/apples to your pizza MUST try! I know to some it may not sound appealing but give it a shot.
google avatar

Yelp
you have got to be kidding me!! my uber eats driver arrived 5 minutes after closing and you wouldn't give her the already cooked food!?!? i order from you once a week. I'M DONE

Les A.

Yelp
Ordered a cauliflower crust pizza online for pick up, multiple toppings were missing from our pizza. No sausage, no onions, no basil, no oregano and only 2 slivers of green pepper. Instead we got lots of mushrooms. Very disappointed for our 1st visit to Fired Pie, not sure we'll ever go back.
google avatar

Claudia S.

Yelp
I love the thin crust pizza, and how you can customize your own pizza(pretty good size). Been a customer for a very long time, but moved away, recently back and they have customize mac & cheese & pazookie! And they have bottled booze!

Yelp
Food is great. Some of the workers little lazy however the hours say only open 11 to 3 but they're really open till eight on a Friday FYI.

Yelp
So I went with my mother and 3 kids to start the table were nasty I have to clean the table because of my babies , I went to order and when they started my order a African American girl and her boyfriend which is the store manager treated me nasty just because I wanted extra sauce i wanted 3 or 5 scoops he say I can do 1/2 honestly the pizza didn't taste good because of almost nothing in the pizza so I finished my order and they started acting like I was a problem , when the pizza gets to the table I ask the African American lady if she could put it away from my babies no she didn't care if I don't put my hand my baby would get burn and I let her know and started laughing and both of them unprofessionally is no my daughter fault and she wanted to burn my daughter .
google avatar

Yelp
This is close to work and it's okay when I'm hungry. It's fast and you can choose what you want. Salads are very big. The pizza is just okay.

Jeffrey M.

Yelp
My wife and I had a wonderful experience today at the Park Central location in Phoenix. We were fortunate to have been greeted by Penny. She was pleasant and accommodating. My wife is allergic to pork. We requested a half/half pizza with my side having pork on it. She prepared the pizza ensuring no pork was on one side and even cut the pizza with separate cutters and served it on two pizza pans to ensure my wife's was pork free. We didn't request this, she just did it. Outstanding service and a delicious perfectly made pizza made for a great dining experience.

Yelp
After reading other reviews here on Yelp, we decided to try Fired Pie for dinner. They definitely didn't disappoint. Our family all did the build-your-own option. The size was plentiful as we all had left overs (which we plan to heat up for lunch tomorrow). A pizza and drink was about $10, but considering that we will get two meals out of it, it's a great value to us. It was walking distance from our hotel (Hilton Suites) so we didn't have to deal with parking. But we saw plenty of parking on a Sunday night. It's a bit tricky to find as they are kind of tucked away behind The Good Egg and Jimmy John's.

Yelp
There 3 teenagers working were very nice! Pizzas were delicious and the pookies also! It was very clean and we got our pizzas very fast! Thank you!
google avatar

Yelp
I love this pizza spot. The crust is nice and crispy and it's a good portion for one person. I get the vegan cheese on mine with some of the veggie topping. I wish they'd expand out of Arizona!

Yelp
Bad experience review edited and simplified new review added. Had customer service concerns that were not present upon my latest visit. Previously had rated 2-3 stars, now updated with current review. Updated review: I received a very nice message from one of the managers and he encouraged me to try this location again. I ordered some carryout pizzas and did not have any issues. We enjoyed the pizzas we got and it was a quick and easy in and out kind of deal. I do enjoy the fact that you get to build your own pizza and you don't get nickel'd and dime'd for every topping.
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
Food: 11 inch pizza with unlimited toppings. For the sauce, I chose a combination of Alfredo sauce and pesto. Cheese: mozzarella and Parmesan. Meats: spicy sausage, pepperoni, and bacon. Veggies: spinach, mushrooms, red onions, pineapples, and sun dried tomatoes. The crust wasn't too thin or heavy. It was crunchy and soft at the same time. Hands down the best pizza I've ever had. I was pretty impressed with my creation. Lol. Leftovers was just as good! 5/5 Service: Fast and friendly. The guy who assembled my pizza made suggestions when asked. My pizza came out within 5 minutes of ordering it! 11 inch pizza and bottled water for under $10. What a steal! Why go anywhere else for pizza?? 5/5 Final thoughts: This is officially my favorite pizza spot! I loved everything about it! I was legit sad when I finished my leftovers. Lol.

Yelp
If it wouldn't seem so weird, I think I would start a Fired Pie fan club. I came here today at 10:38a (I get hungry early!). They open at 10:30a and my fiancé and I were the only ones there! Yes - no wait! I walk up to the counter and you can customize your pizza or pick one from a list. I decided to customize mine: Pick your sauce: Tomato Cheese: Mozzarella and Gorgonzola Meats: Pepperoni, Spicy Sausage, and Bacon Vegetables: Mushrooms, Spinach, Artichokes, and Jalapenos They tell me it will take 3 minutes and voila! Two pizzas with a bunch of freaken toppings came out to be less than $20! What???! There has to be a catch, right? Like, the food sucks or something... We sit down and my pizza was delicious!!!! The crust was thin and it was so fresh! I even had to get a to-go box (I still had three slices left). Now, that's value! I am kind of scared to come around during lunch peak hours though. I am sure this place gets packed! I am definitely a fan!

Yelp
Great place overall. It's hard to go to a pizza shop when I'm eating alone (usually $20, 3000+ calories), but they have a good system in place. Tons of space inside. Very easy parking. It's in the center where you'll find Starbucks, The Good Egg, etc. To be honest I was going to the Good Egg and saw your sign and realized you were one of my bookmarks. The restaurant can't be seen from the street or even the parking lot. I'm glad I changed my mind and went here. The service was very friendly from all of the staff. The pizza was $7.95 and it's more than enough for one person. It could feed two and it's a great price if you choose that route. I'll take my nieces here and have them split one and feed 2 hungry kids for $4 each plus drinks. I ordered the Meaty Italian (pic enclosed). I ordered, got my drink, went to the little island to grab some parm and peppers, say down, took out my tablet, and by then the pizza was ready. Probably under 5 minutes. Very fresh and hard to believe it was that fast. Despite the low price they offered to put anything else on it that I wanted so I chose the sweet peppers. Same price, which is nice because I hate it when you order a pizza and the toppings double the price. The place was clean, they serve fountain drinks so you can refill, and the decor was modern. If you want to grab a pizza and not break the bank and maybe get 2 meals out of it, check out this place.

Yelp
This place was a welcome surprise. It's tucked away and not easy to see from the road, but it's worth the bit of a scavenger hunt. The staff greeted us warmly the second we walked in and helped us place our order and held our dessert order until we were ready. I had the Pesto Chicken pizza and he had the Meaty Italian. Each was ~$8 each and could easily have been shared with a side salad instead of ordering two pizzas. Pizzas here are all made with 11" crusts. The fire grill flavor was great! The pizza crust was thin and crispy, but not crunchy or cardboard like at all. The pesto sauce was excellent and the meat pizza was exactly what you would expect it to be and they were happy to put pepperoni on only one side since I don't love pepperoni and wanted to try his pizza. We finished it off with the Pookie (pizza cookie - if you've been to BJ's think Pzookie) which had a full side scoop of ice cream for just $3. Delish and cooked only when we asked for it so the cookie part was nice and hot to melt the ice cream. Overall: A We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Hi, Last Sunday 10/16/22 I called your store at 3110 Central and placed an order for 7 people for our people working in the office. Your personnel asked my name and my number. She said it will be ready after 30-35 minutes I went to your store around noon to pick up my order. I asked your personnel if my order is ready and she said she did not have time to do it. I said why? She said she got busy after I placed my order. That is unacceptable! Why take phone orders if you guys are not capable of serving it. Your personnel has my phone number. She should have called me instead of me driving to your store wasting my time and the 7 people waiting for lunch! UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE!

Yelp
This place is quick and tasty. Great for dining in or to go. This location is under construction right now but staying open.

Yelp
Was really disappointed. I've ordered a bunch of times but this was sad and cold :-( no mozzarella:-(

Yelp
Fast and delicious thin crust pizza. We also love the salads there. Subway style build it your own with toppings. We usually get a pizza and salad and two people can share that and feel good about the meal

Yelp
There's a lot of remodeling happening so just keep that in mind; however, it should not deter you from having a great meal! You might not find it as soon as you think, but as a friendly reminder, they are located next to Jimmy Johns and have an awesome location. The staff is very friendly and very welcoming, they know how to hold a conversation. Ultimately, this is a great place to stop by for lunch and for a personalized pizza. They have a lot of variety and many topping to choose from. The scene of this place is pretty central Phoenix scene which makes it seem very hip and cool. I recommend the food, it's inexpensive and very addictive. The artwork on the wall is very artistic. I am very excited to see what this new construction has in store for us. 5+ stars and 3 cosmic stars!

Yelp
Whoever answered the phone on 6.7.22 around 10:15 am needs to be educated on how to politely handle a customer service call. I asked to place an order for delivery, (because online it says you can), the girl responded to me as if I was stupid for asking and should somehow known delivery was only through grub hub. Next after ordering, when I asked for the price of my order, she told me that she wouldn't be able to tell me until I got to the store to pick it up. In the end she did tell my total but made sure I understood she felt like she was doing me a favor. I hope this pizza is good because the customer service is certainly not where this store is placing their focus.

Nancy H.

Yelp
This is toppings on a cracker. They tout that they change their gloves when they prepare gluten-free pizza (putting the UDI brand dough on a pan), then put it on a "pizza line" where other employees put the toppings on the pie and touch the dough without changing gloves. First time for trying this pizza out, and definitely the last.

Yelp
We called ahead to see if they could accommodate our party of 7. They were very friendly and let us know we could come on in. When we arrived they were empty. This was my first visit to this chain. Apparently someone has taken the subway model and applied it to pizza. You build the pizza from the bottom up by selecting dough, sauce, cheeses, and toppings. I like the idea of it. The end result was an ok small pizza. The crust is thin and crunchy, the sauce was good and I picked all my toppings so I can't complain. This was not better than my local pizza joint. Just different.

Yelp
First time at Fired Pie today. Met my daughter for lunch. We arrived at 2:00 PM on a Monday and there were about 8 other tables. Good sign to be this busy after the lunch rush. I ordered a pie with tomato sauce and pesto, mozzarella and fontina cheeses, pepperoni and spicy sausage, jalapeños and onions. Forgot to get fresh basil on top. My daughter ordered similar but with a couple of topping changes. The line moved very quickly so we built, paid and filled our drinks within seven minutes. The pizzas came about seven minutes after that. I'm not a thin crust guy. Never liked it, never will. I don't like deep dish either. I prefer regular, Hungry Howie's-type crust but thin is all they offer at Fired Pie. We ate here because I just got laid off and I wanted a cheap meal for our weekly dad/daughter date. All their build-a-pizzas are $7.95. Wow, I found a thin crust that I love! It wasn't "cracker crisp" like I've seen at other places, thank goodness. It was cooked perfectly. The sauce-to-crust ratio was spot on. The toppings were toasted and flavorful. You guys nailed it! Came home tonight and told my wife all about it and she wants in on the pie! Our other daughter, who has celiac disease, can't eat here. Even tho they have gluten free dough, they prep it on the same boards and cook it in the same ovens, which is bad for celiac sufferers.

Yelp
I've tried Blaze, MOD, and now Fired Pie. I don't like any of them. Originally I loved Blaze. Their gluten free crust was thin, crispy, light with fresh, delicious toppings. Several months ago they jumped on the Keto bandwagon and switched to a cauliflower crust. I'm not Keto but I am gluten intolerant. The cauliflower crust isn't good. Fired Pie's gluten free crust is Udi's. With actual gluten free bakeries in Phoenix why use a mass produced crust lIke Udi's?!?! The toppings weren't very flavorful either. I love the idea of a pizza freshly made and cooked to order, I just don't like the gluten free crust.

Yelp
I was within walking distance, so I decided to check it out. Ordering was easy and fast (even during the downtown lunch rush hour). I ordered a buffalo chicken salad and cheese crisp. It was mediocre salad and pizza. The salad maker added ingredients that were not in the recipe, and used ranch instead of caesar. The crisp was a bit burnt on the bottom and lacked taste. The location was convenient and clean, but there isn't much bringing me back here.
