A restored 1950s fire station turned all‑day hangout with a coffee bar, cocktail program, comfort‑food kitchen, and a busy outdoor stage. Praised by Southern Living and regional critics, it’s a lively anchor for downtown nights.

What a nice chill place to come grab mixed drinks, house made Sangria and other house mixes. The brisket is amazing here the quesadilla was great. The brisket nachos were amazing. It’s very very spacious with vast seating areas. Tables and chairs are all around and sofas and love seats also. There’s plenty of seating all around, inside your welcomed with frozen like AC and outside the area I forgot to photo which had misters to combat the heat. Also had a very quaint coffee and seating area with treats. This is a nice place to come chill and relax I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the “Stubborn” soda machine which has the best cream soda and root beer I’ve ever tasted that Stubborn IYKYK!! This is an excellent summer time meet up spot!! I will be back!! One last nugget the food was inexpensive as well. Enjoy 🤗

I hosted my class' 5 Year Reunion in the Coffee Shoppe of Firehouse Gastro Park and it was fantastic! The place has an amazing atmosphere with a fun and chill vibe! Mikayla with the events staff was so helpful and very professional! She was kind, checked in on us and went the extra mile to make sure our event was special! I recommend this place to everyone whether you want a good cocktail, some yummy food or all of the above with some great, chill vibes!

Today was a great day. I want to thank the girl that worked the last shift tonight talk are very helpful and PS: Movie name -William Tell(Hulu). The food was amazing and the singer was incredible. Thank you for making our 1st time so fantastic.

Google
I loved the atmosphere. Wish i could've visited on a weekend seems like a good spot for a night out. The Nashville hot fries were good and the portions are filling. The brisket tacos are what stole the show for me though they were delicious.

Rachel T.

Google
You order and they will call our your number so its a different style than a regular sit down place. The food selection is great and the separate bar makes really good drinks! They have lots of space for events, for work, for a date, for lunch, whatever! It is very botanical and jungle-esk, which i really like. My only con is the prices are a little too high as someone who has been in the restaurant industry for over 7 years.

Google
I came to FHGP today (a quiet Sunday afternoon) after passing by a few times and telling myself I had to see what this place was about. I will say it’s even cooler inside! The food was good, I had the loaded with brisket (weekends only per their menu) the seating ranged from benches and chairs to couches and loveseats. The huge tree inside was very cool and a great focal point. There is also a full bar and coffee shop there, as well as outdoor area where can play bags or listen to live music when scheduled. Overall very vibey and I’d love to come back for a drink and music sometime!

Google
I don't think I can recommend this place enough - my wife and I rented this place out for our wedding reception and it was simply incredible. First - huge shout-out to Areta. We were mainly coordinating details with her and she was prompt, friendly, and a joy to work with. Second, actual experience was great. The staff was extremely kind / friendly and went above and beyond again and again. On top of all of that, the food far exceeded my expectations. I could go on and on about this place - definitely worth a visit!

Google
Gastro is such a cool place. It’s a great place to hang out any day of the week, they have live music, a nice bar, a coffee shop that beats with any big name shop, outdoor games like jumbo jenga, corn hole and has fire pits. The food is really good, I have tried several dishes here and not had a bad one. The Philly is my go-to with some Cajun fries. This is a family friendly environment and although it is a nice hang out, they have quiet spots where you can work or enjoy a book. Check it out!!

Yelp
The ambiance of this place is so gorgeous from the open space to the HUGE plants in the center of the room. They also have some nice hanging sculptures. I ordered the dirty bird fries. Keep in mind this is a half order, which means the portions are generous. The staff were also very friendly. Their house made sodas are really good as well. This is a large space to get together with a group of people. They do live music on certain days as well.

Yelp
We visited FireHouse Gastro Park about a month ago and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The space has a fun, open feel with picnic tables for outdoor seating. In the evening, however, it felt a bit too dark outside, so we opted to sit indoors. The burgers were solid--good flavor and generous portions. Because of that first experience, we were excited to return and try the chicken sandwiches. Today we stopped by around 2:20 p.m., noting that the posted hours showed the restaurant closed at 3 p.m. We assumed we had plenty of time to order, but unfortunately, the person at the register told us the kitchen was already closed. That was disappointing, especially since we arrived more than half an hour before closing. Given the distance out of our way, we don't plan to return soon. If the restaurant closes at 3 p.m., it seems reasonable to expect they would accept orders until at least 2:45 p.m. Turning customers away so early left us with a negative impression, which is unfortunate after such a promising first visit.

Yelp
I always get the Dirty bird fries half order, no coleslaw extra sauce they are great & very filling. Service is always nice & place is always clean.

Yelp
Stopped in for the first time to meet up with our car club before Subiefest and honestly didn't expect it to be this good. The place is super cute--inside and out. We grabbed a picnic table outside, listened to some great music, and the food totally delivered. The Cuban sandwich? Easily top 3 I've ever had. The fries had that perfect Cajun kick, and the Stubborn sodas were awesome (the pineapple one was my favorite). Overall, great vibe, great food, and a spot we'll definitely be coming back to.

Yelp
I had seen the Chicken Tenders on the Firehouse Facebook page and decided to try them. They were moist and tender, with just the best seasoning, so good! My friend had the Gluten Free Cheeseburger and loved it! She said the meat was prepared just like she likes it, the salad fresh and delicious. We were with a large group on the patio, we had the legendary Dirty Bird Fries for appetizers, everyone always loves them. We all talked about how good our food was and how perfect the patio is for a large group. Our waiter was fantastic, they have just the best staff. If you haven't been, treat yourself to a great meal in a great place, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
We searched Yelp to find a place for dinner as we were going to be in the Grand Prairie area. This was another time where Yelp really helped as we really liked this place and wished we lived closer to come here more often. The place has a casual vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor space looks like they may have live music and gives you reasons to chill with friends with fire pits when there is a chill in the air. For dinner, we started with the Dirty Bird Fries. This is a must try item! We split a half order knowing we were also each ordering something else and the amount was plenty for two people. It has uniqueness in the combo of items you are familiar with, and delicious together. My husband had the green chili burger. It had great flavor. I went with the Kale & Quinoa bowl and wasn't disappointed. In fact, I found myself really liking the roasted beets in this combo. You'll find both the food and separate bar area as counter service where we engaged with friendly, helpful people. Lots of parking in the back (which wasn't obvious to us at first).

Yelp
This is one of those places that you would want to gatekeeper because it's just so special, however, you want them to have a really good business and create revenue. To start off, the building was beautiful. The whole concept was absolutely amazing, my drink was definitely a craft cocktail and tasted like it. So well made! I didn't get to try the food because I arrived as soon as the kitchen closed, but the live music really made up for it. I will be back to dry the food and cocktails, the customer service was also really good and commendable!
google avatar

Eddie C.

Yelp
If you haven't been to Fire House Gastro Park, you're missing out! The vibe is chill, the team is incredibly welcoming (shoutout to the owners and staff for making us feel right at home), and the food--wow. I had the BLT with chicken, and it's easily one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. Perfectly toasted sourdough right off the flattop, piled high with crispy bacon, fresh toppings, and juicy grilled chicken. It's everything you want in a BLT and more. Already planning my next visit!

Yelp
The restaurant itself is awesome! Love the casual atmosphere. I got the chicken tender lunch special and it was just ok. The chicken was tough and hard to bite into without cutting it up, but it didn't taste bad. The regular fries were good but nothing fancy. Hubby got the brisket street tacos were good and had lots of meat on them. The food quality was excellent, I think I may have just had a bad batch of tenders. Would definitely try it again if we lived closer.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food, good service Definitely will come back My favorite thing they have here is the dirty bird fries - nice kick but so much flavor. Also the craft cocktails were to die for. Everything here is worth it.
google avatar

Yelp
Good food and an open, inviting dining area. We enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak and the Nashville Hot Bird sandwich. Both very tasty. The wing lunch special was a great deal. It felt pretty pricey at $52 for all three of those. But I would still grab lunch here again.

Yelp
I love the vibe of this place. I instantly felt the relaxed atmosphere when i walked in. If you're looking for a real good place to meet up with friends this place is for you. I love all the seating choices. The outdoor seating option and the open entertainment area is large. I enjoyed the 3 cheese grilled sandwich and I love the drink options. Come in and enjoy coffee with your friends or go to the bar area to enjoy a drink or 2. There is a something on the menu that should satisfy everyone.

Yelp
Awesome restaurant and awesome food, service was good there was one person walking around asking of you needed anything. Ambiance itself it nice but the OU TX game was on and it was still mild. Overall food was good and not my preferred method of ordering but it was fine, you can make your burger a salad that was awesome.

Yelp
Came here for a post-wedding after party, so can't review a "normal" night at FireHouse. That said, we'd totally return for one of those normal nights. FH has a great vibe, and the indoor/outdoor layout allows you to flex for sound, weather, whatever. Food was good, with the Nashville hot chicken sandwich being the clear favorite amongst our group. Mixed drinks were very good, and the beer selection is decent if not outstanding. Staff was consistently friendly and efficient. Our group had a DJ / silent disco setup, so we'll have to come back some time for a live music sample. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Great food for lunch! Always fresh and a really friendly staff. I love the atmosphere here and how it use to be an old fire station.

Yelp
Food was ok, service was terrible. Wow... I've never been so disappointed with a restaurant that had a good Yelp rating. I ordered kale salad with chicken, I was so excited to eat it because it was health but had somw wonderful ingredients like feta, almonds, etc. The salad part was great, but the chicken was terribly dry! I mean like cardboard dry! It was my first time there so I decided I'd go ahead and ask them to either make it over with more edible chicken, or just give me some tender chicken so I could swap it out... the woman at the counter look disturbed and said "well, we can make it over but it will take like 30 to 45 minutes... for a friggin salad! That's ridiculous! I took my salad back to the table and ate what I could! I also had some chicken wings. Also dry! Sadly, the drink dispenser wasn't producing the soda properly, and when we brought it to the attention of the staff, they said they would fix it right away. After 15 minutes of waiting, we and again and she said "well there's only 2 of us". Not good. Overall the food was less than ok, and the service not good. It looked like they had some good items on the menu, but you will be rolling the dice with this one. Bummer... I was hoping for a good experience...

Yelp
This is one of the cutest places in DFW. Murals, plants everywhere, vintage furniture, huge patio, just asking you to take photos for ig. It's good for a first date because you can meet for coffee and if it goes well, maybe you have dinner. If it goes really well, you can continue and have drinks. It's park style so you order at a counter and then get texted to come get your food. Everyone is crazy friendly, helpful, and trying to get you to stick around as long as possible. Live music on the weekend, and there's a ton of parking praise the lord Cocktails look good, but who cares they have blantons at a decent price.
google avatar

M'kayla D.

Yelp
Of course I ordered an instagram favorite...half order of dirty bird fries with slaw on the side. The food was a 4/5. There wasn't anything spectacular about fries topped with chicken, but I won't undermine the fact that it was good overall. The restaurant had an open seating concept which was nice. Tip: be mindful of the weather. I don't believe the restaurant has central heating....although I was bundled up it was very cold! Last thing to note: The staff was very helpful and pleasant. If I'm ever in Grand Prairie again I'll be sure to pay them a visit.

Yelp
First, let me start with the positives. This is a really cool and unique establishment. I love the venue as a place to hang relax listen to music have a couple coffee or a cocktail or some wings or all of the above and that is my top rating now let's get to the food, the wings were disappointment. They lack flavor. The kale salad was good. The french fries were good. The grilled chicken sandwich was OK. I would return to this establishment. However I won't come hungry. The customer service was friendly. The day I went it was low traffic.
google avatar

Valerie V.

Yelp
Cool place to relax & get some midday work done. They have seasonal drink offerings like the Blueberry Dream, which is a blueberry tea latte. They also have a large outdoor shaded area which is perfect for kids to play.
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped by for brunch on the way out of Dallas toward Six Flags last Sunday. It was a nice change from brunch spots in Dallas. Great food, fun ambiance, and FREE PARKING! There were about 40-50 Air Force folks in uniform there that day, but they ordered in batches to allow smaller parties to get through in a decent time. Order at the counter, then they'll call your name. It took about 20 minutes to get our food, but it's made to order and it was crowded. There is also a coffee counter and a bar, so you can get beverages and baked goods without having to wait in the kitchen food line. There is a record player and decent collection in the coffee shop room, and coloring sheets while you wait. The music was chill, the plants everywhere made it feel cozy. There is also a wide variety of seating options. The name made me think there would be multiple food vendors, but the one was fantastic. Definitely worth the detour.
google avatar

Marcel C.

Yelp
Interesting looking place! Had live music and open mike! Really liked their outdoor area. Had a great salad with grilled chicken! It was a nice portion as well! The young lady that took our order was very helpful since we had not been there before.
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
This place is always great. There's nothing bad you can say about their food. They're fast. The prices are reasonable and convenient to get in and out of calling your order or place a mobile order walk in pick it up and leave.
google avatar

Latifah R.

Yelp
These fries were bomb!!! The atmosphere is really nostalgic and just gives off a chill vibe. You order at the counter and they send you a message when the food is ready. The bar can get crowded really quick but the bartenders are quick. My friends had burgers and raved about them but the fries I had were a hit. They also offer coffee as well. It's a nice place to meet with friends for a drink, a social gathering, or to take your laptop and get some work done. They also have an outside seating area but it was raining when I went but plan to go back soon.
google avatar

Abigail G.

Yelp
Visited on a Sunday around 2pm. The parking is in the back - good to know if it's your first time visiting. It was empty when we arrived, maybe 1 or 2 other tables were there. It was quiet. They have a patio but we sat inside. It was giving more coffee house vibes than bar vibes but they do sell alcohol. I was expecting something more like a sports bar based off the pictures online. The food was okay. Nothing spectacular. You have to go order your food at the countertop. The wait to get our food was long which was weird because they were not busy but it took forever to get anything we asked for.
google avatar

Lindsey C.

Yelp
Love, love this place! My friend ordered the Cali Bird in salad form and she really enjoyed it. Said that the chicken was super soft and had lots of flavor. I got the Dirty Bird Fries which has seasoned cajun fries loaded with Nashville fried chicken, dill slaw, comeback sauce and pickles. I can't even put into words just how good it is! Love their outdoor dining area so much, really didn't want to leave haha. Our food was delicious, staff were super nice, and excellent service. Great spot to hangout with family and friends!
google avatar

Luke S.

Yelp
This place has such a cool vibe. it's fresh and fun, this used to be a fire station so it's very open and has a fun feel to it. it's a hybrid stop so you can come for lunch or coffee! their coffee shop is in the same building, but is separated from the lunch area. You go up to the counter to order and then they call your name when your food is ready, the guy behind the counter was super cool and really helpful. I ordered: Dirty Bird Fries!! (INCREDIBLE!!! 10/10 IT WAS EVERYTHING I IMAGINED AND MORE!!) 10 Wings!! (also delicious but the dirty bird fries stole the show for me) 9/10 to end off my meal I got an iced honey bee latte which was DELICIOUS!! 1000/10 I LOVEDDDDDD THE COFFEE!! I definitely will be coming back! this place is an hour and fifteen minutes away, but worth the drive if I'm ever craving it!!
google avatar

Mandy C.

Yelp
Hidden Gem!! Fun, hippie chic atmosphere. Excellent bartender... Dee! She was very helpful with the menu. In describing things. We were headed to a concert... and needed some thing that would last. She suggested the Dirtybird fries. They were great! crazy ingredients... But they were fabulous! And we had brisket street tacos... also fabulous! And a healthy serving I might add. Along with some fabulous cold beverages we had a great time! The atmosphere was fun the music was great. We will definitely make that our pre-concert stop!
google avatar

Jaycee B.

Yelp
I've have been wanting to go here for awhile and I was so sad to be disappointed. First we came when a 4th grade class was there on a trip and it was chaotic with a long wait and that's not 100% the fault of the restaurant. However, they did have the whole patio blocked off for them only but of course kids and all the parents were everywhere. And since it's seat yourself it was kinda annoying. My husband got a burger with blue cheese, which he said was really good. But we ordered Cajun fries and they were just plain, not even salt. I got a smokehouse burger and fries zucchini and the bacon on mine was really really overcooked and all I ended up tasting was burnt bacon. My zucchini was okay, also slightly overcooked. Staff was really nice. It was a very busy time for them so maybe if we hadn't had the bad luck of going there to eat then it would have been better
google avatar

Yelp
For a group of six adults they charged 25 dollars of a tip. I am not going there ever
google avatar

Doug R.

Yelp
Drove 20 mins out of way for it to be closed when Yelp hours state they are opened. Huge inconvenience.
google avatar

Gabriela L.

Yelp
Love going to this hidden gem! They have amazing costumer service to atmosphere and ambiance. The food does not disappoint one bit! We tired plenty items in their menu to mix it up every tim. You have to give it a shot!
google avatar

Nick T.

Yelp
Food is good. Drinks are good and reasonable price. The vibe is great. Skip tipping at the register where you order food. I paid $10 in tip to walk over and have to pick my own food up. I have to get my own drinks, plasticware, ketchup and napkins. The owner ought to not make tip an option at the register. The guys at the register spend more time talking to each other. The place was not even busy when I came in. The bartender on the hand was helpful and deserves tip. Very friendly!
google avatar

Tony D.

Yelp
This place got everything! Coffee spot, burgers, and a little but fantastic bar. I got the mushroom burger and Large Dirty Bird frys and the burger was extremely balanced, soft buns, tasty meat and veggies seasoned well. I need to see if they can do medium to make the burger even better, but its the best mushroom burger I have had in DFW. The Dirty Bird frys looks great, and the flavors of it all blend well. Frys are seasoned and cooked great. The chicken is marinated but dry for my tastes. Coffee is a calm and decently quiet place to work at. It took longer then I would like for the drinks to be ordered and come out. Good coffee. The bar made all 4 drinks our group ordered with grace and blam. I highly recommend everything but sad the bird frys were dryer then I like, COME!

Donna N.

Yelp
I ordered the smoke house burger today and my friend got the quesadillas. The burger was AMAZING and the bun was chefs kiss cute spot and I loved the ambience! Friendly staff as well!!!
google avatar

Michael N.

Yelp
A daughter got me a Philly cheesesteak to go from here. It may well be the worst sandwich I've ever eaten. And that includes the peanut butter, sardine, and potato chip sandwich I made as a teenager many years ago. Sliced onion sandwiches rate way higher than this disaster. I'm not a Philly cheese aficionado, but I did expect something like I might get from a Yankee sub chain. In my mind, that consisted of tender beef on a toasted or otherwise substantial roll that could be held. What I got was over-salted, dried out beef on an oddly soft roll. It was disgusting. I hadn't eaten all day, so I ate what I could, then simply gave the rest to our dog. He's practically a goat and will eat nearly anything. He was content with it. That made one of us. Grand Prairie is severely lacking in decent places to eat. This place has a nice ambiance, but fails on the food.

Chris T.

Yelp
If you're coming for good food, you've came to the wrong place. I see pictures of sliced brisket, but there's actually NOTHING ON THE MENU THAT HAS SLICED BRISKET.
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
Dirty bird fries were awesome! Burgers were very good and atmosphere was pleasant. Enjoyed our meal and time there. Henry's ice cream was great as well!
google avatar

Eva C.

Yelp
This place was such a nice restaurant. Very family friendly and great outdoor activities like corn hole. My kale and quinoa bowl was delicious and the burgers looked amazing. According to my family members they were great. The customer service was also great. They waitstaff was very attentive and kind. I recommend this restaurant! Clean bathrooms too!

Patrick M.

Yelp
Best chicken sandwich in the DFW area. Hands down. And the nachos were fantastic. Lots of flavor

Yelp
We enjoyed our experience dining at FHGP yesterday before the Cowboys game. The restaurant is about 15 min from AT&T stadium making it a very convenient location for game days. They have a stand where you place your order and then a system that's supposed to text you when it's ready so you can come back and pick it up. Unsure if there was a glitch in the system, but we never got a text saying the food was ready - they did deliver the food to our table though (maybe because we were outside and it wasn't busy??) In my humble opinion, the wait staff could've been a little friendlier though. They have an indoor-outdoor set-up with a variety of seating that can accommodate small or large parties. We dined on the park benches outside since it was a beautiful day (and the indoor seating was way too loud due to a band practicing inside). There was a group of people studying at a neighboring table if that gives you a sense of the vibes. Parking was easy because it wasn't too busy - a little surprising since we went on a Saturday afternoon. We polished almost all the food with the exception of the onion rings because the order is so large! The green sauce that came with the quesadillas is a must try.

Maria G.

Yelp
Great atmosphere terrible food. Nachos were sweet. Brisket quesadillas had more meat than cheese and they don't give you enough pico. Flavors were not good. However, engine else said the burgers were good.
google avatar

Kelley K.

Yelp
With 400 reviews FHGP hardly needs my endorsement but yep, this is 5 stars for a unique set up, good food, banging cocktails and live music. This place is a lot of fun and good for crowds, as you see in the pictures it is not fine dining, this is finger food, get outside and chill out vibes. My chicken Sammy was a huge moist breast, perfectly cooked with enough sauce to keep wet but not so much that it drips. It's the best chicken sandwich I've had in YEARS and those dirty bird fries, yeah, you are going to need to try those. How all those flavors work together I have no idea but these are a hit, recommend sharing with 3-4 people was an appetizer or side item with your sandwich. The bar here is a separate line and I liked the rotating cocktail menu of new concoctions. Again, unique cocktails that I've never heard of but beautifully crafted and I appreciate the mixologist taking pride in their work and creations. Overall, if you're looking for an entertainment and casual dining you will not go wrong here. Recommend a stop in and don't forget those Dirty Bird Fries, you'll thank me later.
google avatar

Camarra B.

Yelp
Thanks to all the reviews and pictures here on Yelp it helped me quickly decide where to come. I didn't order much, but what I ordered I got a lot of... which were the "dirty bird fries." It had Cajun fries, Nashville fried chicken, dill slaw, comeback sauce and pickles. I usually don't seek or eat things specifically like this, but the pictures had me convinced and after the first bite I reconsidered what I "don't like." It's definitely different (for me) but so so good. I loved how it all blended together so well. I'm definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu!
google avatar

Richard M.

Yelp
This place has a cool laid back atmosphere. Great for small or medium size groups to meet up. Will definitely be back
google avatar

Kristina C.

Yelp
Cute place, chill vibes, fast service, tasty food, full bar, .... Easily 5 stars. Indoor and outdoor seating (outside has a stage for live entertainment). There is also an attached coffee shop. Prices are reasonable. Can't wait to come back.
google avatar

Sherelle L.

Yelp
I walked in this place initially wanting a coffee from that portion of this place, but when I didn't see anyone around I went to the food portion. I got the half order of dirty bird fries to go, and my my my these were bussin! The half order to me was huge, and I had to eat in two settings. I appreciated the amount of chicken they put on it plus the fries were skinny and crisp and didn't fall apart with all of the toppings. My fries came out hot, and the wait was about 20 mins on a non busy Sunday. So the wait on a busy day may be longer
google avatar

Katrice S.

Yelp
Found this amazing little spot coming back from Dallas. The interior is beautiful with a huge BOP (at least I think it's a bird of paradise) in the middle of the building. I had the Asian bird chicken sandwich. Hands down one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Huge juicy crunchy chicken breast with kale on a soft butter bun. The zucchini fries with comeback sauce is a must try! There's a gorgeous little bar inside. The staff at the bar and kitchen were all super friendly. We will absolutely come back to try more of the menu.

Yelp
Very nice atmosphere, relaxing, can be loud depending but very comfortable because of the size of the location. Food was delicious but did take a little longer to prepare so if you are looking for a quick bite, might go somewhere else. Staff is great and friendly. Nice bar area with really good custom drinks
