"It opened in 1927 and was a working firehouse until 1980. Now, under the ownership of Dustin Lancaster, founder of hospitality group Eastside Establishment, it has been transformed into the Firehouse Hotel with wood truss ceilings, giant windows, and a concrete nameplate emblazoned with the words Engine Co.
