Fun spot discovered today! Chill vibe, many having coffee and working on laptops. Printer available too! Gentle music. Great selection of drinks including different Vietnamese coffees which are made with sweetened condensed milk. Highly recommend!

Google
I came after a montrose beach trip and decided to get the “Running Out of Thyme”: an iced black tea limeade with lavender & thyme. Instantly addicted. Teacups hang from the ceiling, adding a touch of whimsy while plants quietly grow in the corners and the espresso machine hums in the background. There’s plenty of room to work, but it’s just as good for taking a real pause in your day. Worth a visit for the tea alone.

Google
Dimly lit coffee shop work great vibes. Menu has an extensive list of sweet Vietnamese offerings along side some empanadas. When we went they did not have any pastries on offer but the empanadas were great.

Google
A charming café with a unique and creative menu of Vietnamese-inspired lattes. I tried the sesame latte, which had a rich, balanced taste with subtle hints of coconut and ube - smooth and not overpowering. The ube mochi was chewy and satisfying, though a touch light on ube flavor. A great cafe worth visiting for something a little different on the specialty coffee scene.

Google
this place is amazing! the drinks are not only cool and unique, they also taste really good!! prices are reasonable, and the cute aesthetic of the space is also functional: it's a good spot to sit and chill, not just take photos at and leave. I'm kinda subtweeting other "cutesy cafes" in this review rn, as a lot of them only have their aesthetics going for it with rather mediocre drinks, but this place isn't that! it's really good AND really cute! highly recommend!!

Summertime rolls. Brand new CTA el stop opens at Asia on Argyle this week and First Sip should be your first stop. Design of the interior is uber Euro razor sharp. A floating sea of teacups aloft from the ceiling. Celestial lighting, painted accents and thoughtful seating arrangements. Jamming liquid offerings, quiet intellectual space. Vietnamese inspired spirit and hospitality. With Fat Milk up the street the boundaries of coffee culture have expanded in this transitioning neighborhood. Plenty of bike racks , stylish onesie restroom.

Google
We got the coconut jasmine viet coffee and the toasted coconut latte. The jasmine was extremely overpowering and artificial, which made the coffee undrinkable. The toasted coconut latte was overly sweet but still flavorful. The cafe itself has a rather cool, dark, and calm setting.

Google
Delish pistachio brown butter latte! Hubby got the pistachio rose latte. Cute, chill spot in argyle. They have a lot of unique & interesting looking drinks on their menu. They also have empanadas too which I didn’t get to try. Super close to the argyle red line stop.

Yelp
Can't believe I waited so long to write this review! This is hands down my favorite coffee spot in the city. I wish there were more Vietnamese coffee places like this around. Coming from Vietnam, I'm obsessed with my coffee, and they make it just right--strong, not too sweet, and full of flavor. I also love their creative takes on Vietnamese coffee. My favorite is the bingsu Vietnamese iced coffee, but when I want something more filling, I go for the sesame Vietnamese coffee. It used to be a hidden gem, but now it's always packed whenever I visit. Still, it's a great spot for studying, working, or meeting up with friends!

Yelp
A great Vietnamese cafe with unique drinks and merch. The cafe has plenty of seats and free WiFi for those who want to stay for a while. The WiFi name is actually called "Plz no outside food + drinks" The drinks are unique and flavorful. I've been working through their menu and it amazes me how they get the flavor into the coffee. I think the Mooncake Latte blew my mind because it tasted like I took a bite out of a mooncake. Today I tried the Brown Butter Pandan Vietnamese Coffee iced and definitely recommend it! If you're wondering what pandan tastes like, you can probably think of it like a vanilla/hazelnut flavor. It's a plant used in a lot of southeast Asian cuisine and kind of looks like long blades of grass in a bush. It's not overpowering so you wont even know it's in the drink. I also had the Chicken, Port Pate, and Leeks Pie. It was pretty good but probably won't get it again. It didn't really fill me up and was surprised it was $5 for how small of a portion it was. Also shoutout to their merchandise and stickers, very cool artwork.

Yelp
First Sip Cafe is a cozy spot with a warm, rustic vibe. The aroma of fresh coffee hits you as soon as you walk in. I tried a few drinks over the time I visited and I really love their Vietnamese coffee (specifically their brown sugar pandan), nice and strong. The staff are always ready to help and are quick on their feet. It's also a great place to work, relax, or catch up with friends. There's always other people there who do so. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a nice cafe in Argyle.

Yelp
An amazing Vietnam cafe! I ordered a Pistachio Rose Latte, it was great! The vibe inside really matches the summer feeling, IYKYK.

Yelp
Very cute spot in a fun area! I could not decide what to order from First Sip because there were so many tasty options. I ended up going with the Sesame latte but I think any of them would have been great. The latte was extremely flavorful. I also got a vegetarian quiche which for $5 was a lot smaller than I expected it to be but nonetheless tasty. There was so much seating with cute lamps at each table and was the first cafe I've been to in a while that had outlets. The one thing is that there was only one woman working there so it took about 10 minutes for my drink and food, but I didn't mind. Just don't go if you're in a rush. Overall cute place and I will be back to try all the flavors!

Yelp
This is such a cute space, so whimsical and fun with lots of plants and cute teacups hanging from the ceiling! The service is quick and friendly. I tried the Sakura and Lychee Tea Latte. First of all, it was adorable, it was a pink color with flower petals on top. More importantly, it was delicious! I would highly recommend. Overall, this is a great spot to come to do some work, hang out with friends, or just get a great drink to go!

Yelp
Checked out this place on Argyle for coffee. First Sip is a pretty calm cafe and bigger than it looks. It still has a coziness to it though. A lot of interesting flavors. There's also a few things like paninis. Because it was cool in the morning, I came in for something hot. It's not a big place, but there's still plenty of tables for inside. This is one of those order at the counter places. Coffee is the main thing of course. It's about $6 for a latte. Last time I got the Pistachio Mint Latte. Had a minty and nutty flavor. It's about $3 for one of the baked treats. Has cookies, including the Vegan Chocolate Chip. There's also things like toast. Has a lot of good stuff beyond the coffee. It's a pretty open minded place too. This is located on Argyle at Winthrop.

Yelp
Amazing study spot! Great acoustics, flavorful lattes, and aesthetic branding. Not too busy on the weekends either

Yelp
First of all, the decor and plants really get to me. Love the vibe and atmosphere. Not very loud inside, plenty of seating. Things are simple and have personality. Menu is printed paper, not laminated or anything, minimizing plastic, pretty great. They have a pretty interesting bathroom too with grow lights inside. Now onto the latte. Orange blossom latte with oat milk-- this was so good. The fragrance hits you right away, I love how potent it is. It's more like a mocha than latte as the chocolate flavor really comes through. It's like an orange chocolate mocha. Ube (Ubae) latte with oat milk-- I had this first and thought the chocolate flavor comes through and it's really nice that it's not sickeningly sweet like other ube drinks. So definitely recommend. Again, this place's latte tastes more like mocha, which is what I prefer anyway. The Ube flavor isn't too pronounced, and tastes a bit more like Taro than Ube. Which is fine. Still pretty good. My husband also thought the older lady in the back didn't seem very friendly, but it probably is just RBF haha like all our older Asian parents haha. Just like home, am I right?

Yelp
Stopped in for a drink on a hot day. I was really excited to see the Ube Vietnamese Coffee on the menu. It was pricy but it was delicious - not overly sweet which I know can be an issue at other places. The decor was really creative with plants on the wall and teacups hanging from the ceiling. It was a bit dark so we ended up sitting at a counter by the window for some light. Plenty of seating! I'm not sure if I would come here to do work though the ambiance is good for socializing. It also seems like they host some events and I'm interested in checking those out!

Yelp
Stopped by this morning with my sister to get the day started with some caffeine and isn't this place the cutest! The faux flower from for adorable window portraits, the teacups hanging and all the plants Lots of seating and most importantly, delicious coffee drinks. My sister got the iced Vietnamese ube latte and I went for the Jasmine. Both lovely and as charged as coffee should be.
google avatar

Yelp
Super busy spot on a Saturday. I got an ube latte (size large) and it was good. There were def no seats for us but that's okay, I just got it to go!

Yelp
Visited this coffee place @ uptown from a recommendation. Seemed like a local spot for people to do some work. However, inside seemed pretty dark & not much natural lighting to work/study. As far as the drinks-- lots of options on the menu including some unique twists on the drinks like flavors such as ube and Pandan. Wanted to test out their Vietnamese coffee variation. These drinks are made with sweetened condensed milk (and really can't be dairy free). Prices are on the higher point but the drink was pretty solid. Wished it had a deeper/richer flavor and more on the Pandan favor (seemed like the brown butter overpowered the drink). Saw they also had some seasonal drink offering like Sakura flavor for the spring season. I liked the unique twist of drinks of Asian influence and flavors rather than the basic old coffee shop.
google avatar

Yelp
I ordered Ubae Noir - ube, pandan, coconut, activated charcoal, black tea, milk The drink was delicious; I could taste the ube and pandan. There's also ample seating for you and/or a group of friends to relax together. Service was not good. The older employee was terse and not remotely friendly, even though it was my first time there. I noticed she was super friendly and smiling with other customers. I asked for one of the boxed tiramisu and if they could serve it for dine-in and she told me they only serve everything to-go. Minutes later, I saw her hand a pastry on a plate to another customer. When ordering my drink, I showed her it on their Instagram account and she made 0 effort to make it as visually appealing as it appeared on their Instagram. Quite the opposite. I'm still interested to try other drinks on their menu but I won't go out of my way or recommend this place.

Yelp
So good that I made sure to come in again and get my Last Sip here before my flight back home. First Sip, by far, has the most unique selection of coffee I've ever had. It'll probably take me a whole month to get to try every single drink at least once. Cute indoor aesthetic, and as a huge fan of antiques, I especially love that they had some antique decor around, like a vintage typewriter and sewing machine--the dangling cups are also wicked cool. I first had the Coconut Jasmine Vietnamese Coffee and that was insanely good. Easily one of the top 5 flavored coffees that I've had because you can distinguish each flavor and they were bold, which is always a plus for me. I also had the Spicy Mango Latte, which I was a bit hesitant to try at first because the thought of spiciness in my coffee didn't sit all too well with me but decided to go for it after the owner convinced me that the spiciness was very mild. It was surprisingly good but tasted too much of the mango flavoring, which wasn't for me. My friend let me have some of her usual, the Ube Noir Latte, and I thought that was really good too. My friends just moved within walking distance recently and showed me how many great food options Argyle has, this being one of them. Definitely looking forward to making this my coffee stop when I visit again since there aren't too many options around.

Yelp
A cool spot with creative drinks, I love coming to First Sip whenever I need to leave the house for a breather or change in scenery. On days they host events, the space can be crowded - a feat because we need more third spaces in the city! Otherwise, the cafe is fairly chill with plenty of tables to study and work. The vibes are immaculate.

Yelp
Pros: -This place has some great and unique drinks that always have me coming back! -Service is fast. -The teacup decor and plants are very cute. Cons: -Noise level is hit or miss. It's loud during peak hours but a nice place to work during slower hours. -Staff is not friendly. I wouldn't go as far as to say they are rude but as a repeat customer I'm always surprised how short the staff is with me.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a popular, mid-sized cafe in Argyle that is quite packed with people and pretty loud. It's not that ideal for studying, but a nice and ambient spot to chill and chat with friends. My friends and I stopped by on a weekend afternoon and waited in line for a bit before ordering. The staff got our order slightly wrong (wrong drink size), but otherwise the drinks were good! We got the Pistachio Mint Latte and Ube Latte, and both were excellent. Beautiful presentation and they weren't overly sweet, but still tasted like a nice sweet treat. Their menu--filled with eclectic lattes, teas, and Vietnamese coffees--is quite expansive, and everything looked really good... excited to come back to try more options! It's pricey, but compared to other cafes that make similarly creative drinks, the prices are pretty fair.

Yelp
First sip cafe, oh what a treat! Let me get into it! The food / drink that I ordered, hot chocolate was one of the best ones I had. Compared to Starbucks the hot chocolate was amazing. The service was great the person at the counter really was pleasant and welcoming. The atmosphere or ambiance was great! I like the lights and the plants near the front window! FSC is really unique and I personally have not see any place like it. Overall, I will say give FSC a try they are great!

Yelp
Visited this cafe for the first time and will definitely be returning! My husband loves beets and enjoyed their beet latte. Their hot coffee with cream and sugar was so good! Better than expected and better than the average coffee. The interior is cute and welcoming with plenty of space if you're looking to sit back. The service was quick!

Yelp
First Sip is an adorable cafe, and it is a great place to work remotely. It's right on Argyle street and easily accessible via the 36 or the red line. They have a cute outdoor patio space where you can work and eat, too. Their cafe is filled with tea cups and plants and string lights! It's so cute! They have some baked goods (the mochi donut is the best) and tons of coffee and tea flavors. They have some of the most unique and tasty flavors in the city. Their ubae latte is amazing - the flavor comes through so well without being overly sweet. I also like the red beet latte, golden milk, and any of their iced teas (Peachy Keen is very yummy)! The service is always fast even though they are always busy. This is definitely a favorite neighborhood spot!

Yelp
First Sip Cafe with a not so good First Impression! As you enter this establishment, you get the feeling that it is a cute and quaint neighborhood cafe with many creative coffee and tea flavors for any coffee/tea lover's palate. I noticed quite a few patrons working on laptops and talking on their cellphones so it is definitely a place to come to not only enjoy a cup of Joe but to get some work done in the process. However... I lived in Chicago for twelve years and whenever I come back to visit I am reminded that I am not in Kansas anymore. Being from the South, Georgia more specifically, I am used to a more friendly/hospitable approach to customer service. As a first time patron, the way I'm greeted goes a long way and First Sip Cafe definitely missed the mark. There wasn't a smile or a "hello how may I help you", just a stark face of a young lady staring at me while I finished perusing the extensive menu handwritten (quite eligibly) on the wall. I placed my order and in a matter of minutes it was ready but there was no "Thank you, come back again!" or "Have a nice day!" Just the yelling out of my order and with this being my first time, I didn't know which side to pick up my order. I am a stickler for high quality customer service and THIS "ain't" it! As for my coffee, I ordered the 12oz Pistachio Mint Latte and it was quite delicious. I love Pistachio coffee but was a bit worried about how the coffee flavor would blend with the mint but was pleasantly surprised that the mint did not overpower the drink. It is definitely a good choice if you're looking to try something different! The three stars is NOT indicative of the coffee but is indicative of the overall experience. As a first time patron, I'd be reluctant to return simply based off of the level of customer service. Patrons want to be made to feel valued and First Sip failed in that area.
google avatar

Gabrielle B.

Yelp
I love first sip! I love that I live so close. I love how cute it is. I love how quiet it is. I love how creative it is. First sip is one of the most creative cafes I've been to. Basically, they create craft coffee and tea cocktails sans the alcohol. Love the orange blossom Love the apricot cobbler Love the rose tea Yum! I've been going here for years and will continue to do so.
google avatar

Yelp
First Sip Cafe is one of my favorite spots in all of Chicago! From the location and aesthetic, to the vibes, and the myriad of delicious and unique options on the menu. I have been to this spot several times and have enjoyed quite a few lattes. My top three favorites are the red beet latte, ubae latte, and the orange blossom; all three are so delicious! There is also ample room to sit and enjoy a freshly made latte and crank out some work, reading, or writing. I especially love the plethora of plants and living greens that are at the front of the shop. Highly recommend to any and all folks in the area on the hunt for a great coffee and tea spot. I can't wait to come back and try more options on the menu!
google avatar

Karla M.

Yelp
Don't get me wrong the coffee here is pretty good but I'm not sure how you're a coffee shop in chicago and don't open when you say you'll be open (9am). We waited outside for 15 min after it was supposedly open the first time then left since there was still no movement from inside the shop. There were a handful of others waiting outside with us at the time. When we finally got in the second time (this time we went after 10am), it was a much better experience. We got an iced mango latte and a coconut jasmine Vietnamese coffee. Both were good but the jasmine was a little too strong in the second cup. We also split a mochi donut which I've always loved so have nothing but good things to say about it. The place was pretty crowded by this time so heads up it might be hard to find a table after 10am, even on a weekday.

Yelp
I was at Starbucks one day and overheard a lady talking about the Pistachio Mint Latte here and had to try it. I'm no stranger to Argyle but this was my first time trying a beverage from First Sip. I love the fact that they thought outside the box and made this unique combo that used Pistachio as a flavor. I didn't taste the minty part of it and I love mint a lot but the Pistachio really stands out and compliments the heck out of this iced latte. I'll most likely be back again and again because I just found my new favorite beverage even though I'm a tea connoisseur. It's nice to see a menu that combines unique flavors that I love so much like: rose, lavender, mint, pistachio, not your boring earl grey. I know this won't be my first sip because I'm coming back for more sips!! Update: I got the Red Beet Latte 1/9/23. It's so pretty but beet doesn't have a strong flavor at all maybe it has great health benefits but it just tasted like milk. I'm still a Pistachio Mint Latte Lady! Lol
google avatar

Yelp
The seats are supportive for my back, love the plants everywhere, and there's a lot of seating. Drinks are tasty and reasonably priced. Know that the deeper in you go the darker it is. They have lights though I believe!
google avatar

Jessy K.

Yelp
The decor in here is always top notch. The cute tea cups displayed hanging over the counter, the numerous plants, the black walls and ceiling. I love the vibes. I had the strawberry patch drink which is matcha and strawberry syrup + strawberry bits. I really enjoyed the drink, though the matcha wasn't the best. I think this is a great hang out spot, a place you can hang for hours.

Yelp
I learned about First Sip by way of Uptown Art Week. My favorite mural that was being painted during Art Week was one that had a beautiful plant growing out of a teacup. I thought it was for a plant shop in the area so I was surprised when I walked by and found the artist was partnered with First Sip. I had never heard of First Sip so the mural actually introduced it to me. I have been wanting to try various coffee shops in the area (particularly for their chai since coffee is ick) and so I made a note of it. I stopped in yesterday and now I understand why the plant mural is appropriate! This place has a gorgeous plant theme. They've got at least 30 plants hanging in the window of the cafe. Inside, on the east wall of the restaurant, they have a wall of cuttings. I'm not sure if they're actually propagating them or not but it's beautiful, especially with the lights that were included in the installation. The cafe was pretty quiet, even with 5-6 people inside. I had planned to order a chai, but instead I ordered a red beet latte. I actually like beets as a vegetable, pickled beets, and it was something new so I decided to try it since it was a non-coffee drink. It wasn't my thing; honestly, it tasted mostly like warm milk, I think, and that's not really a flavor I like. But most coffee shops have three non-coffee options: Chai latte, hot chocolate, and tea, and I appreciate that First Sip is trying to be creative and offer more choices for us non-coffee fiends!

Yelp
The ubae vietnamese coffee is really good. The ube taste is strong and goes very well with the strong notes of vietnamese coffee. It's a really good pairing and not one is too overpowering of the other. The pistachio mint latte also was tasty and true to name with the flavor coexisting well together. I enjoyed the pistachio mint taste as it tasted natural and not artificial which is always nice. The decor of the cafe is super cute. However, one thing to note is that this place can be super busy which is always good for the business, but finding a place to work is a bit on the harder side for customers. Although there is wifi and tables making it a great spot for studying or solo work, it gets pretty cramped in the morning and noon hours and the ambiance is just okay as it does get a bit loud inside.
google avatar

Rebecca H.

Yelp
Stumbled on this cute coffee shop near Argyle before meeting friends for dinner nearby. I got the spicy mango latte and it was DELICIOUS - tasted like real mango (not too sweet) and just a hint of heat. They have a little seating area outside when the weather's nice, which is where we sat as there seemed to be a lot of people working or studying inside so maybe not the best place for a conversation. I also grabbed a yummy mochi donut while there.

Yelp
soooo cute in here. their strawberry match (strawberry matcha) is the best i've ever had, and might be the best thing ive ever drank period!
google avatar

Andrew P.

Yelp
This is one of the first or second coffee shops that I went to when I moved to Chicago and of course I can understand why people come here - the aesthetic is really nice and it's also in a prime location by the Argyle red/purple line station as well as on the strip of Argyle with lots of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Thai restaurants. I personally don't feel like I've had any drinks here that blew me away, but it's probably because I'm a pretty basic black ice coffee drinker. I recently came back and tried their strawberry ice drink and found it to be very sugary. I'll have to try some more things. I've never actively sat here with a drink either. I'll be back soon though!
google avatar

Jocelynn K.

Yelp
These ladies know how to brew their coffee! Stopped by after eating nearby and was pleasantly surprised by their creative menu and even more pleased when the taste of the drinks delivered! The cafe is super cute and quiet with no loud music so if you're looking to work or study it's a great atmosphere with large tables and work spaces. The drinks were made quickly with very little wait.

Yelp
This is our go to cafe nearly every morning on the weekends. The owners are far and away the sweetest most kind people you will ever meet. The drinks are inventive and most importantly delicious. You can't go wrong with anything here but some of our favs are the Ube, Pistachio mint & Golden Coffee/Milk. The vibe is exactly what you want out of a local cafe, quiet and chill with happy caffeinated people working or just catching up. Would travel to visit 10/10.

Yelp
This place is SO COOL. The decor in this place? W.O.W. My one regret is that I didn't take more pictures of the incredible decor they had-- floating vintage tea cups, ivy germinations on the wall backlit with fairy lights, a flower frame in the window. I'm OBSESSED. I want whoever decorated the place to decorate my room, honestly. Okay onto the food/drinks. Regrettably, I didn't take a picture of my Caprese Panini and my Ubae latte. My latte was delicious; the Ubae flavor was strong and vanillad and not too sweet-- delicious. My panini was okay. I would've loved some type of balsamic glaze, a different type of bread used, and maybe more tomato, but it wasn't bad. I probably wouldn't get it again. Now the real star of the show was the mango limeade. WOW. It was tart, not too sweet, and just all around delicious. My favorite part were the chunks of fresh mango I got to eat at the end. YUMMM. All in all, 4/5 stars mainly because I'm picky when it comes to Caprese (curse of being Italian), and that there's a 2 hour dining-in limit (totally understandable because I would camp out here all day if I could), but the service was nice and the ambiance was fantastic.

Yelp
We started out with a simple pistachio lavender latte in the middle of winter and now we visit whenever we can. Something about the no-nonsense lady at the register, you know you will get what you want and it will be good! The café has an extraordinary variety of teas/coffees/latte flavors from all over the world and you can still get what you want for your most mundane palette. If it is food you seek, there is not a lot of choices, but there is always something to nosh on. I love the tea cups hanging from the ceiling- provides a sweet backdrop to a cuppa and conversation or a sit with a computer.

Yelp
Love this neighborhood spot! Great place to sit and drink some Vietnamese coffee. The decor inside is so cute too
google avatar

Linda Y.

Yelp
Great drink selection and spacious environment. The Ube latte was good, not too sweet. Hit or miss with friendly staff, depending on who takes your order. If you are planning to stay awhile, I would only recommend coming here to study/work alone (or anticipate you and your friends to ACTUALLY work haha) and bring your headphones. There is no music playing in the background so if you have a conversation, just know you're sharing it with the whole cafe! I really hope they consider playing music because it would definitely feel more inviting.

Aprille R.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this cafe out for years since they opened. I'm glad I finally did. I ordered the Ube Vietnamese coffee and it was deliciously strong. I don't usually finish my coffee but this one I did up the last sip. I would definitely come back veneer in in Argyle. We came in as soon as they open so it was nice and quiet. The service was fast as well. Plenty of street parking.

Yelp
We used to come here often, when they first opened, and we loved their matcha lattes. The menu is exciting and innovative. Lots of fun options! The atmosphere is also great. We went back today, after not having been for a couple years, to try their coffee drinks. As soon as we walked in, it was clear the barista was feeling flustered. She never greeted us or offered even a smile; she looked annoyed. I politely asked which she'd choose between two drinks, and she replied curtly, "Those are two different drinks so I can't say." We moved on and ordered. She told us their credit card machine wasn't working. So, we paid with Venmo. Maybe that's why she was feeling flustered? My drink came and was delicious. My wife ordered the PBJ latte, and it was almost undrinkable. It tasted very very watery, like instant coffee, and super bitter. We drink a lot of coffee in a lot of places. So, we both felt like something went wrong, not that it just wasn't tasty. I went back in, tail between my legs, and laid in the sweetness, because, TBH, I was straight up scared of the barista. I said it was very watery and bitter, and asked if she'd suggest remaking it or if we should maybe order something else. She said, "How about this, I will remake it, and if you don't like it, you should not order coffee from us." It was a straight up scolding, y'all. 60 seconds later, she plopped the new latte on the counter and said "here" before turning around and walking away. The latte was a bit better. It wasn't as watery and clearly had more milk, which dulled some of the burnt flavor, but it still was pretty bad. But more than the latte, the really rude service will sadly prevent us from coming back.

Yelp
I like this cafe, come here regularly with my friend, I enjoyed most of the coffees, the service is quick and polite. Have not tried their food to be honest, but I feel like it is a nice place to hangout, read, maybe knit there, it's pretty cozy. Recently though I have noticed that they started adding a lot more sugar to coffee which to me personally isn't the best decision...

Yelp
Got the hot Ube Latte from here and it was really good! Service was super quick too! I also enjoyed their merch they had for sale in there. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I had high hopes for this cafe because the drinks look really nice and the flavors are unique, but my cousin and I were underwhelmed after trying the ube latte and the PB&J latte. The staff members weren't exactly the most welcoming. They seemed annoyed being asked a question about the menu and taking our quick order. Friendliness goes such a long way in coffee shops (& in general). Sadly won't be back anytime soon.

Yelp
I really want to like this place but every time I come here the lady with the short hair is so rude. She always looks angry whenever I order from here and I just don't feel welcomed at all. I tried to give it one last shot today and see if the vibes felt right but yet again the woman just looked angry that I came into her shop. I want to support this shop but I also want to spend my money without feeling like an eyesore. Great concept but terrible vibes :(

Yelp
We walked in on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed and then it immediately became clear why. The latte selection is incredible (I went with ube because who can turn down ube, but several other flavors to try next time) and an award winning MOCHI DONUT that looked like the cartoon ideal of donut and was so good I got another one on the way out. We stayed until it closed and I'd love to go back.

Yelp
Really cute cafe in Argyle that is very conveniently near the red line station AND a ton of great restaurants! They also have a decent amount of seating and a pleasant, cafe atmosphere that somehow seems conducive for study/work sessions or catch-up chats with friends. The menu is also great and has a lot of intriguing and delicious sounding drinks. I tried the Argyle Vietnamese coffee and enjoyed it - a bit sweet, VERY strong, and would drink again!

Yelp
This is more like 4.5 stars. When we stopped by on a Saturday afternoon, the cafe was pretty packed with people studying, on laptops, working, etc. The ambiance was cute and had a bit rustic decor or feel with real plants, wooden furniture, and dark walls. We ordered "Ubae Latte" that consists of ube (purple yam), pandan (tropical plant), and coconut syrup. I substituted the whole milk for almond milk instead and ordered the drink iced/cold. You have the option to order it hot, but they recommended the other option. It was a good recommendation though because the drink was quite good! You definitely taste the ube, but it wasn't overpowering. Service was quick, but the cashier was neither friendly nor rude. I would totally come back to try their other menu items as well. (You can see the drink swirling in action on my IG: @surelyhere)
