Best fish spot in Vodice, we couldn’t stay away. They have fresh tasty fish with excellent service from the staff team. We had the shrimp dog, Tuna Steak and Crispy Delish to name a few. Their witty humour and banter makes the place unique by taste and experience, thank you !

Very attentive and caring employees. I love the options and variety of the food! The decorations and table setups are also nice. I got the fantasy shrimp Caesar salad and my friend got the shrimp and chips. For me the proportions of the food were perfect and I felt full for the rest of the day which I was surprised by since I just had a salad. For my friend’s Shrimp N Chips, the employee came with their special sauces on a tray so she could try them all, it felt so fancy and fun! Would love to come again

My daughter is usually a picky eater, but she finished everything—and even asked for more! Our whole family loved the delicious food and the warm, friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Truly some of the best food we've ever had.

I love when I try a new place and it’s better than I expected to be. Great service, clean environment and delicious food. I had the fried cod and fried shrimp basket with French fries (sooooooo goooood). Also, Please try the lobster roll (it’s not offered everyday so go on a day when it is), it’s so buttery, warm and delicious. I got macaroons as a little treat & they were also delicious (they should add those to the menu). Highly recommended 10/10!!!!!

Friendly welcome every time we come in. Fried fish is headliner but the grilled shrimp roll was EXCELLENT. Also best grilled cheese in town, according to my 7 and 9 year old critics, no small feat.

Everything that I ate here was beyond excellent and I will be dreaming about the Tuna Steak Delish, it was delicious. The Salmon Delish was also very good as well as the coleslaw. Sara, who made the sandwiches, is on point and a pleasure to talk to. Service was great and restaurant was clean. Can't wait to go back.

This place is absolutely delicious! I had the shrimp tortilla and it absolutely did not disappoint. Their fries were perfectly crunchy, not greasy, and they give you a large quantity. Next time I'm in town, I'll be visiting again. Such nice people who work there as well!

Fish was fresh, but very oily..AND portions are miniscule! $20 for a bed of fries, 3 small pieces of shrimp, and 1 very small piece of cod. I got an extra salad and a drink and still left hungry. My husband got a full salad bowl with octopus. He commented that he's had bigger portions at Spanish tapas (appetizer) spots. I guess this is a good spot if you're not that hungry or if you want to pay $52 for fries and a tiny salad.

Highly recommend the cod delish burger. The grilled cod was fresh and the arugula, orange slice and wasabi mayo were a nice complement. Place had a casual, nautical vibe.

Wifey and I came here before our son's choir concert in October. We were greeted with a big hello and the staff were super friendly when we arrived. Was hoping for the lobster roll, but they only had the cold option...but it wasn't a big deal because they have lots of options. Throughout the meal the staff came over to check on us and they were incredibly friendly. Wifey ordered the Salmon Delish w/ fries Grilled salmon, brioche bun, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, avocado, and delish sauce... I had the Crispy Delish w/ sweet potato fries Fried cod, brioche hot dog bun, cole slaw, melted cheddar, pickled red onions, and fun sauce. They also brought us over three homemade dipping sauces (all mayo based)...Fun Sauce, Wasabi Sauce, and the Delish Sauce. I have to say, these were the BEST sweet potato fries either of us have ever had. Sandwiches were both amazing - fresh tasting and cooked perfectly. We loved that they are a BYOB place as well. I 100% recommend Fish Delish. We walked away very happy we stopped in on a whim.

My Wife works very close to your establishment. I cook all the dinners we have at home because I get home earlier than my wife by 3 hours or more. ( Not to mention she has cooked all our meals 33 years prior to my work schedule change). I was working late on Friday and I called my wife and asked Hey Babe let's order dinner I am coming home late. She immediately calls me and tells me ok. I DO NOT LIKE FISH.... She often tells me I must try this " Fish delish" I roll my eyes thinking ok I'm going to have to sneak a snack in before bedtime. I'm NOT going to like this stuff..... She walks in and the moment she opens the bag this lovely aroma came out of the bag, it was piping hot and very fresh! Tartar sauce, and a special sauce my wife calls the " Vesna sauce" The cod, The onion rings were Incredibly great.. I do not like fish... or so I thought. I highly recommend this place. They have salads, The Flora Salad, The Luz Salad, The salad my wife had was the Luz Salad and I was in her dish eating with her. The place is ultra clean, The pricing is reasonable and it's Local! To all you Non fish eaters.... Please give this place a shot! It was really a great meal. Fish Delish Thank you. See you on Tuesday.

A hidden gem in Montclair. Stumbled upon this while walking around and decided to give it a try. The place looks nice and clean.Ample seating. The food was super tasty and very very fresh. Loved everything we ordered.The spicy shrimp was .They also have a kids menu which is a plus. Service was wonderful. Definitely worth trying

Quality fish & chips with a Croatian twist. Give them a try, great service only a short walk from the Upper Montclair train station.

The lobster roll and onion rings were amazing. I tried a bite of my friend's shrimp fries and they were unbelievable. Server was very calm and kind. It's spacious and clean inside.

We visited Fish Delish for a late lunch and were impressed! We ordered the Cod Delish Burger sandwich, fish and chips, and a Salmon Dog. A much healthier alternative to our consideration of a burger place. Not only was the food beautifully presented, but it was also incredibly delicious. The service was excellent, with thoughtful recommendations and great attention to detail. We ate outside, which made for a lovely experience, and the indoor decor was super cute. We'll definitely be back!

Wanted to love it, but can't fully get behind it. I went with the cod fish and chips, which costs almost $21 by itself after tax. The tiny, stringy fries had almost no starchy, potato-y interior and were definitely salty. The cod filets are tiny - you might find larger ones at a school cafeteria - and you only get two (it's $6 for an extra one). The classic crunchy battered breading was correctly executed, but the cod inside was practically flavorless. The cole slaw was briny and crunchy, making it a good palate cleanser. The tartar sauce was fine. Service is friendly in that the food was carefully delivered to my table. I'd try it again, but only because I love fast casual seafood.

This unique and creative establishment instantly puts me into Guy Fieri mode. I'm trying not to approach fellow NjT with unsolicited accolades about Fish Delish. The Club Delish is an action-packed vehicle with smoked salmon, grilled shrimp and a lot more.

Placed order over the phone, Gail was patient and very polite. The restaurant is small with plenty of seating. My first time I ordered a few things. Spicy shrimp pasta was not spicy, small portion for the price but it was really good. Meh for the shrimp and chips. Fish and salad comes with two pieces of fried cod. The fish and shrimp need seasoning to stand out in this area. Pricey On street paid parking I would go back for the pasta

Excellent. 10 out of 10. Adorable inside, although we did take out this time but will dine in next time for sure. It is so nice to have something quick and casual that is still high quality! We had fish and chips and fried shrimp and tuna bowl and a delicious cod sandwich stacked high on a brioche bun. The fish is crispy, the fries are perfection and all of the fish is fresh. The seasoning, presentation and combination of flavors and generous portions will have me craving Fish Delish all the time. If you haven't stopped by yet please give it a try. Trust me.

AMAZING experience! It's great to have a seafood restaurant in the neighborhood! Veena gave us a warm welcome. We were contemplating what to order and she gave us recommendations. She was a gracious hostess and offered us selections on the menu to try for when we come back. The cod delish was great. I think it can do with two pieces of cod or a different bun that's not soft/brioche. The fried shrimp and chips were so fresh! Whatever you do, order the shrimp roll!! The shrimp is well seasoned. It comes with a bed of aioli and arugula. The fish and chips were fried to perfection. The seafood hero which is grilled red snapper on a Cuban hero was delicious. The skin is on the fish for those that are picky. Perfect bread for the fish and tasty! All the sauces are wonderful! Our favorite was the aioli with garlic, capers, etc. The restaurant is airy, light. Plenty of seating as well. You will find street parking in the area as well which isn't an issue.

The food here is super fresh. I had the salmon wrap which was spectacular. Filled with big pieces of fresh and juicy salmon. And I loved all the vegetables too. The french fries were really good as well.

Had takeout here for the first time and food was good. Ordered the fantasy salmon salad and squid ink pasta. Fresh and tasty.

This fish & chips spot is the best, (outside of the UK). I've gone to many spots in Montclair and the surrounding area, these folks have it spot on!

Been coming here for over a year and the food always hits the spot. Everything I've ordered has been carefully prepared with different flavors that blend perfectly together. Some of my favorite dishes are the shrimp burger and the classic fish and chips. Their lunch specials are a great deal and yummy work from home treat. The owners have sweet and welcoming vibes which is important for people making your food.

As a student was ordered, it's very hard to find places that will actually let you and your friends. Just sit down and chill but face delicious is the place it's really really fun. I love coming here with my friends very good prices. The people that work here are very, very kind like like it's like my second home here I love it so much. It's like the best place on earth better than Disneyland like you guys just have to come try it extraordinary in general I just I love this place so much from the workers to the food to the acceptance that they allow you guys need to try it.

Great place for quality fast-food seafood! Service was good. The salmon dog was very delicious. Calamari was crisp, fries were good. Salad was fresh. Clean place. We will for sure come back!

New seafood fast casual restaurant in Montclair. The menu has lots of healthy options and fried favorites as well. I love this concept and hope to see more locations open in New Jersey. The tuna salad was very fresh and all the ingredients paired well. The shrimp basket had 5 big shrimp and a mound of perfectly cooked shoe string fries. Can't wait to try more of the menu.

What a nice find - we were in the area at lunch time, not from there, used Yelp to find something for lunch - and found Fish. Was in with the family and all got some kind of fish dish - fresh and cooked great. Salads were fresh, fish/chips hot and good, not oily. Next time in the area will repeat

This is one of the best fish and chips places I've been and certainly the best one in the area. The fish is light and crunchy and the shoestring fries are amazing. We stop by anytime we are in the area. Highly recommend if you're hungry and looking for a good bite to eat.

I love the clean simplicity of the place, the delicious Croatian recipes but most of all the service given by the owner and her friend dly staff.And she even threw in a few non fish dishes so the whole family can find what they like. Great prices, too. Don't miss the lobster rolls on the weekends!

From the outside you could easily mistake this for a standard fish and chip shop...and yes, they are on the menu. But Fish Delish has its roots in Croatia, a place where seafood is taken very seriously. The restaurant is charming and immaculate, the service is great, and the food is so much better than a classic fish shack. I had a salmon dog, a beautiful filet of salmon that tasted lightly hot-smoked, nested in salad greens, covered with interesting toppings and served on a brioche 'bun.' In a word, Delish!

Very reasonable price and the food is so delicious! These are my favorite fish and chips in the area by far and I love how the flavor options are unique but still simple and GREAT. Nice decor and very tasty fried fish. We had the salmon dog, fantasy salmon salad and the shrimp butterfly. Everything was cooked beautifully, no stodge, with very fresh and not overly complicated flavors. Oh, and the fries were on point too! Shame there's no liquor license but it's Montclair so what can you do? Will be back and definitely in the weekly take out rotation now!

Absolutely amazing food and very pleasant staff. Extremely fresh, tasty and at a very reasonable price. I could not recommend it more. My only complaint is that I don't live closer!!!! Please try it and support the local businesses.

Consistently tasty. Love the tuna and salmon delish sandwiches. Not cheap, but the ingredients are all fresh and you really do get what you pay for. Very friendly staff.

I had the Seafood Hero which was amazing. Huge piece of perfectly cooked Red Snapper with bread and toppings to die for. Would strongly recommend.

This is a first time visit and we couldn't have been more pleased with the restaurant , the service, the food and the atmosphere. We had the Salmon Delish and the Fish and Chips. Both were superb. Fresh, well prepared and delicious. The owner, Vesna, is very welcoming and helpful. We will be back to sample the other menu items.

Great place for a quick bite. The food is very fresh and surprisingly light for fried food. Service is prompt and dining room is clean and brightly lit. They offer grilled options as well.

I typically don't write reviews... but as someone who eats fish multiple times a week, this place can hang with any of the sit down restaurants. I think it's even better. Best piece of snapper I've ever had. The people were cool too.

Really enjoyed the fresh fish at Fish Delish. I had the seafood hero. Fresh red snapper. The "delish sauce" didn't really do much for me. Sort of bland. But the fish was fresh and made me feel like I was on vacation. I'm confident that the rest of the menu is equally fresh and, well, delish. Can't wait to try it all.

Recently opened! And a welcomed addition to the Montclair food scene. Lots of good seafood options and some you wouldn't have expected. Love the interior and the staff is excellent. The thin cut fries are the icing on this cake!

The food was super fresh and so tasty. I think we were there shortly before closing but the few tables that were also dining at the same time were also served quickly. My family ordered three different entrees and shared. We were really happy with our meals- everything was super fresh, the use of veggies and sauces really elevated the taste and quality of the seafood being used. The staff was very friendly and the place had a comfortable feel.

Save your self the disappointment and go to BJs and get some Fisherman Gordon. What a waste of time. The service was fine but who cares when the food is fresh from the freezer. The butterfly weren't even butterflied. I'm convinced the owner just opened up this place to be featured on a reality show where they rescue restaurants.

tuna steak sandwich on a fresh delicious brioche bun topped with arugula and special sauce was THE BEST sandwich I have ever eaten! The wait staff was very nice and helpful when asked for recommendations.. the restaurant itself is absolutely inviting with its interior design. Fresh, clean and definitely FISH oriented.. I can't wait to go back again! Oh, the sweet potosi fries were great also!!
