The Best Restaurants for Dungeness Crab in San Francisco and the Bay Area - Eater SF

"This tiny waterfront bait shop slash seafood shack is known for being one of the best spots in Bodega Bay for freshly shucked oysters — and, especially during the local crab season, for steamed Dungeness, either served with wasabi cocktail sauce or on a sandwich. For the full experience, grab a seat at one of the picnic tables outside." - Becky Duffett, Eater Staff

I come to Bodega Bay many times. But this is my first time trying Fisherman’s Cove. I ordered the grilled oyster and clam chowder. Both are very yummy. Especially the oysters. They're so fresh and tasty. I love it! They have a long line due to the holiday. The parking lot in front of the restaurant is full. Few more street parking spaces are available too. But still not enough. I have a parking space with a short wait. The grilled oysters are ready about 20 minutes after they are ordered. I have no problem waiting for them because the food is so good!

Google
Fisherman’s Cove is a must-visit for seafood lovers passing through Bodega Bay. The fresh oysters and other seafood delights make for an unforgettable experience, delivering top-tier quality that justifies the slightly higher price compared to other spots in the area. While parking in Bodega Bay can often be tricky, the restaurant smartly provides its own lot, making the visit much more convenient. The combination of incredible seafood, fresh ingredients, and a well-run operation makes this a standout destination for anyone craving a genuine taste of the ocean. For fresh, high-quality seafood in a fantastic coastal setting, I definitely recommend Fisherman’s Cove!

Google
Worth every penny. We love coming to Fisherman’s Cove for our oyster fix. Their raw oysters are always fresh and never disappoint. Getting a dozen ($36 for 12, $19 for 6) is a must for us every visit. If raw isn’t your thing, they also offer grilled oysters ($21 for 6) with a few flavor options. We don’t usually order them, but when we do, the chorizo butter grilled oyster is our top pick. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but it’s seafood, what do you expect? The quality backs up the price every time. If oysters aren’t your thing, don’t worry. Their menu is stacked with sandwiches, fried seafood, chowders, and stews. This time around we got the calamari and chips, and it was so good. Honestly, I haven’t been disappointed by anything I’ve ordered here. The staff is always friendly and unfazed, even when the place gets busy, which it usually does. The only thing to keep in mind is the crowd. The line can get long fast, and although they have a small lot, parking fills up quickly. Street parking is limited, so getting there early is the way to go. Still, the quality of food and welcoming vibe keeps us coming back. Highly recommend! Fisherman’s Cove is a gem.

Young lady that served us was hospitable, kind and welcoming. Service A+. Oysters were good. French stew was unique. Definitely recommend.

Google
GO NO FARTHER!!! This is the place. If you want great seafood in Bodega Bay then look no further... especially Halibut. I have lived in California for over 50 years and have eaten at a lot of places throughout California. THIS WAS SUCH A GEM TO FIND!!!

Google
Get the oysters, which are excellent and super fresh. We got two dozen for three people. Could've had more. Service is good and there is plenty of seating. We got the lobster roll too, which was good but nothing special. Turns out they are imported from the east coast. The pork tacos were good but super spicy.

Google
Fun place to stop for lunch in a great spot. After lunch drive up the hill for great views and a nice spot for a walk. Fish tacos were very nice - go with the cheapest fish - we could not tell the difference. Some may find the table sharing little too casual.

Google
Great little place to eat! It's very busy, it doesn't take long to get you food though. All of our food was very fresh and tasted amazing! The staff was also very polite

Yelp
It was Valentine's Day so we decided to head out to Bodega Bay for some chowder and ocean views. When we realized where it was, it was really tough not to go to our favorite place next door, but wanted to give this place a try since it was highly recommended by a friend. The interior is much larger than expected with many tables in the main dining area and another smaller room of tables with a view of the boats docked across the street. You order at the counter, grab your number, and find a seat inside or out. They have several picnic tables outside. It was a windy day so we decided to sit inside by a window and it was nice and cozy. The tables were all full of happy diners. Our chowder arrived within a few minutes. They have two sizes and I was glad I ordered two larges. Their chowder has small bits of vegetables like carrots and celery and larger pieces of clams. It was delightful! Next came the 3-piece fish & chips. The fish was prepared perfectly, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The fries were hot and crispy, also cooked perfectly. The person taking my order was very friendly and outgoing. The whole place has a nice comfy vibe. I was impressed by their expanded menu. They offer crab sandwiches, lobster rolls, shrimp or oyster po boy, pulled pork or tri tip sandwiches and salads. They also serve prawns, calamari, oysters and several types of tacos. Next time I want to try their fried avocado. There is limited parking in their lot as well as street parking.

Yelp
This is my second time to eat here. My friend says " you must try the BBQ Oysters". Oh my goodness, I've never had an oyster quite like that. The owner was so kind and made us a variety of flavored oysters. They were absolutely 100 percent out of this world! I had to order the halibut fish and chips my stand by favorite. You get three pieces of beautifully battered fish and just the perfect amount! I had a half bottle of Chardonnay that paired nicely with the oysters and fish. I got a Lobster roll to go for my husband! They have the best Lobster rolls in the universe!! The Fisherman's cove has indoor and outdoor seating! You order at the counter and they will bring you your food. I can't wait to go back!!!
google avatar

Vinh N.

Yelp
We love this place because the crab sandwiches are so fresh and satisfying because they give you a ton of crab for the price! I love them over the lobster rolls! Must get the oysters too!
google avatar

Yelp
We ordered Clam chowder, fish tacos and crab roll. It was AMAZING!! You will not regret it. First of all, the clam chowder was PACKED with clams. The fish tacos (cod) were so good. You can order fried or grilled. I had them fried. Man o'man!! And finally the Crab Roll was DAMN GOOD!! You don't want to miss your chance and hand picked crab rolls. It was a nice touch having a side of the pickled carrots. Parking is a lil tough so pack your patience and expect to wait just a lil bit for your food. It too bad. Go, go now!!
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! This place has the most delicious fish and chips! I'd been driving around and found this place by chance. The service was quick and efficient and the price reasonable for the portion sizes. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Food quality is the best! We went camping with our trailer at a nearby spot and we always come here! We tried almost everything on the menu- grilled and raw oysters, crab sandwiches and oyster po'boy sandwiches! Everything was so good!! Minimal parking, street parking if you can't park near the restaurant. There's always a line here, which means good food! We will be back!
google avatar

Shelli H.

Yelp
I have driven by here with the intention of eating so many times! It is always very busy, like no parking and standing room only busy, so up until last week I didn't stop. Last week though we drove by once again and were delighted to see open tables and parking!! We had grilled halibut tacos and slaw. It was very good! Service was friendly. It was so good that I wanted to try something else 2 days later on our way back by and I had my husband just drop me off so I could order to go. I stood in that line for 20 minutes or so and wasn't even close to the front yet. So I decided it wasn't meant to be, but I am really glad we got to eat there finally! Anytime I drive by and see tables and parking, I will stop for sure!

Yelp
We got here around 1pm and there was a line out the door, but they kept it moving. Parking is definitely a challenge, so we ordered to go and next time we will put our order in ahead of time for pick up. Otherwise there was a lot of seating inside and outside. We ordered so much to try because you can't go wrong here. We got the fish and chips which come with 3 pieces and that was good, but the chips were just alright. We ordered 3 fried halibut tacos which were a decent size and also good. We ordered the classic clam chowder which was flavorful. Then we also got the crab sandwich which is a must! The sandwich was buttery and soft and the crab tasted so good. The shrimp po boy had good flavor but wish the ratio to bread was better because we felt like some bites were just bread so I'd probably skip this next time. But the real reason we came here is for the oysters and we got 1 order of the oysters kilpatrick and 1 order of the chorizo butter oysters. Both super delicious and flavorful and love they give you a piece of garlic bread to soak up the juicy flavors left behind. I liked the chorizo butter a bit more but again, can't go wrong with any of their preparations. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Another excellent experience here! Their fried avocado & chips is to die for. And the fish tacos were so fresh. The person at register is always super friendly. It gets busy yet the line goes fast. This is my go to spot whenever I'm in Bodega.

Yelp
Popular with locals and tourists, Fisherman's Cove is best known for popular seaside fare like fish & chips, fish tacos, crab cakes, oysters, clam chowder, and fish stew. However, they have a wide menu offering that also includes non seafood options. Bonus offerings include beer, wine, champagne, and locally made treats. Whether you dine in at this very casual (and usually busy) harborside spot or take-away, be sure to include a cup or a bowl of their New England clam chowder with your order. Unfortunately, they use plastic utensils and I keep hoping they will upgrade the oyster crackers served but this doesn't stop me from always ordering and enjoying their chowder. Friendly counter service with inside and outside seating. Note they are not open late; Monday to Thursday -- 11 am - 5 pm Friday to Sunday -- 11 am - 6 pm but only closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Days!

Yelp
I went to Bodega Bay for the first time. I was definitely looking forward to eating delicious seafood. Came across Fisherman's Cove on the way back from a hiking trail. For around $80, this meal we had wasn't what I expected or wanted. There was a really long line on a Saturday afternoon. I waited for about 30-35 minutes in line and had to find seating since they were all taken. I would recommended going somewhere else to enjoy better local seafood.

Yelp
First time in Bodega Bay for a round of golf, and headed to FC for the post-meal. It was an amazing decision, and our party was already looking forward to our next round in Bodega Bay just to come back here. Casual dining with ample parking and both inside and outside seating. The restaurant is situated next to a dock, giving great fishing town vibes. Nearly all tables full for the Saturday lunch period. Take caution that there is only one restroom. Ordered the halibut and chips (great flavor and three massive pieces of fish), the fisherman's Stew (loaded with seafood, delicious tomato base), and our table tried all four of the BBQ oysters options. We appreciated that all the flavors had unique flavor profiles (favorites was the chorizo and the rice vinegar/jalapeno) and were served right off the grill at the front door. Amazing friendly staff. Our table was talking to each other about how we forgot to order a crab sandwich. One of the staff overheard us and asked if we wanted it. He offered to deliver it while he still has some in stock, and we could pay for it later.

Yelp
Love this place! The freshest oysters you can get, the nicest employees, and the most gorgeous setting. Also, their crab sandwich is to die for. This is the perfect way end a Bodega Head hike.
google avatar

Jeremy S.

Yelp
Fresh seafood. We Had the oysters, clam chowder, halibut fish and chips, Portuguese fish chowder, dungeness crab and fish tacos. It was all fresh and excellent. Much better than going to San Francisco unless you're craving cioppino.
google avatar

Jessica V.

Yelp
This was my first time trying raw oysters and I'm glad it was here at Fisherman's Cove! These oysters were so fresh and creamy! There was a variety of hot sauces to choose from on their table where they keep the utensils. We also got a side of garlic bread which was just okay because there wasn't much flavor. The wait was quite a while, about 20ish minutes, which was unexpected since we only ordered raw oysters and garlic bread.
google avatar

Allara U.

Yelp
Honestly not as good as I was hoping. The oysters weren't my favorite compared to others I'd had in the area, and my crab sandwich was just ok. My partner's shrimp po boy was excellent, however. The fries were also great. Views and seating were there, the food just didn't quite meet my expectations (especially for the long line and wait). I'd check somewhere else out next time.

Yelp
We've been to Bodega Bay a handful of times and figured we'd give Fisherman's Cove a chance. 100% glad we stopped by for a mid day lunch. Private parking lot is small but there's street parking available. Upon entering, you'll see someone shucking oysters and throwing them on the grill. When you get to the counter, you'll see a big menu board with the daily specials. We ended up getting a dozen oysters, fish and chips, and a grilled cheese. Sitting outside, there's a decent presence of yellow jackets and birds but if you're not ok with that, there's seating available inside. We opted to sit outside since we had our dog with us. The tomales bay oysters were cold and fresh; perfect shooting size and the mignonette was a nice touch. The fish and chips were perfectly cooked, batter was super crispy and the fish was fresh and flaky. The grilled cheese... yum! Definitely got that cheese pull action and the kids devoured it! Paired the food with a bottle of Pliny, ocean views, it was simply a solid dining experience! Can't wait to go back

Yelp
My friend and I were in Occidental CA. Wanting to go to Bodega Bay 1/2 drive for lunch at the Fisherman's Cove, the place that people rave about. Now I know why LOL. A really cute place with both indoor, patio seating and stools by a counter to look out at the bay. We arrived around 3:30 PM and got super lucking with parking. A car was pulling out as we entered. When you walk in, it's like a country store, that serves food. Menu is on the wall along with a board with specials. You order and pay at the counter. You are given a number that your food get delivered to wherever you are seating. We decided on the Calamari and Chips, Dozen Raw Oysters and a couple of ice cold Lagunitas IPA. I tell you these oysters I had were so fresh, fairly big, creamy and delicious. The calamari, light, crispy and perfectly fried! We say at the window counter eating while admiring the beautiful view if Bodega Bay. Atmosphere: Off the dock seafood feel. Service: excellent. Food: excellent.

Yelp
This place is a popular tourist destination and Ash is a doll. He understands celiac and gluten free special needs. I wasn't overly impressed with my halibut tacos but bf liked his clam chowder. It was way too creamy and not gluten free :(
google avatar

Erin M.

Yelp
This was the spot! We filed up on the chowder next door and a little later came here and regretted not being hungrier. We got an appetizer, oysters and beer. Those oysters were amazing. As soon as we finished our food we were talking about having to come back next time we are in bodega bay. Outdoor seating was plentiful and placing our order inside was simple and staff was helpful and friendly.
google avatar

Joyce T.

Yelp
Is it legal to charge credit card fees 4% without informing customers? We should have informed about the charges and decide if we want to pay cash or credit cards. Fish stew and clam chowder are both good, the chowder is more watery and less creamy, exactly the way I like it. Fish and chips are great too, fries are crispy and fish is fresh. Grilled chorizo oysters $21 for 6 pcs, comes with two pieces of garlic bread, they're all delicious.
google avatar

Erika C.

Yelp
Friendly staff. You get a number and they bring it to your table. The crab sandwich was no frills with lots of crab. It'd be nice for more options (crab melt, lettuce and tomato, etc.) but it was solid. Really great, light and crispy batter on the fried oysters. Would come back again!
google avatar

Grace K.

Yelp
The oysters were delicious, super fresh. Served with a simple mignonette. The fish and chips were done to perfection.

Yelp
Our first visit and we loved it so much we returned three more times in a week! The location is very scenic being across the street from the docks and on near Bodega Head. There is plentiful seating inside and out and the place is bright, exceeding clean (including the spacious restroom) and very welcoming. The staff were all very friendly and helpful each time we visited. There is a small parking lot and plenty of street parking. The food is prepared to order, super fresh, hearty portions and very tasty. While we loved everything we ordered, our favorite was the Halibut and Chips. Nice light batter, great fries (crispy outside and soft in the middle) and the homemade tartar sauce was imaginative and delicious! We also enjoyed the Halibut Tacos, Lobster Roll and both raw and grilled oysters. The Tri-tip looked great too. We tried Clam Chowder at four local restaurants and hands-down Fisherman's Cove was our favorite! When visiting the area, do yourself a favor and make this your first stop!
google avatar

JD T.

Yelp
Stopped in here for a crab roll and fries after a long hike around the Bodega Bay and found my new favorite lunch spot. The crab roll made with garlic aioli was super tasty and came with jalapeño & carrots on the side, the fries were thick and crunchy! I appreciated the friendly staff as they were busy. Given the long lines and traffic in the area, I was in and out pretty quick for a Saturday afternoon , about 20mins total. I'd also recommended this place for the Indoor/Outdoor seating, small but dedicated parking (the parking angels had a spot waiting for me as I pulled in), plentiful condiment options, souvenir merch, and ice cream!
google avatar

Aisling S.

Yelp
Our favorite fish and chips spot in California! The local halibut fish and chips are incredible. Lightly battered and full of flavor. The chips are also well seasoned and crispy on the outside with soft potato on the inside. The BBQ oysters are huge and delicious. We like the butter and garlic flavoring. The fried oysters are also done really well. They get pretty busy on the weekends and their parking lot is tiny, but can park along the road and walk there. They have 1 bathroom but across the street there are 2 public restrooms to use if it's too busy. Also you can order online or call ahead if you don't want to stand in line.
google avatar

Anna L.

Yelp
It was very crowded but the staffs were nice and the restroom was clean. We loved the fresh oysters, crab sandwiches, and soups- I only tried clam chowder which was piping hot and tasty.

Vivienne T.

Yelp
Freshest lobster roll ever! Halibut fish & chips were a tad oily but pretty good, though not extraordinary. The BBQ oysters smelt amazing but we didn't order them. It's a pretty busy restaurant so be prepared to wait. You could walk across the street to the marina and try to spot a sea lion - which we were lucky enough to do. PS there are many more bathrooms there too so there's no need to queue up for the one restroom in the restaurant.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
came here for a day trip and staycation close by so picked up some food before heading go our manor. It was about 30 mins so we couldn't miss the opportunity to try this place as everyone rants about their great seafood! I ended up ordering the clam chowder, lobster sandwich, and grilled oysters. I feel my fave in order lobster roll, claim chowder and grilled oysters. I think the cashier heard our order incorrectly and put us down for the BBQ sauce instead of the spicy and garlic flavor we ordered. Their food is great tasting and they have patio seating for those who bring their fur babies with them. They have an extensive menu filled with so many seafood optons!! service is great and food is better! DEF a fan and cant wait to come back for some more grub at the Cove!
google avatar

Carrie L.

Yelp
Tried their grilled oysters and thought it was tasty! I ordered half a dozen and it was the perfect amount to try a few! Wasn't my favorite, but a nice quick option if you're in the area!
google avatar

Joseph A.

Yelp
The food, service and restaurant were all good. Parking was a little difficult to come by. Which is a good and bad thing considering. I ended up parking a little ways down the street in the nearby parking lot. The line wasn't long and the wait time for the food wasn't bad. The raw and grilled oysters were good. The calamari and chips were good too. The calamari wasn't as crunchy as I'd hoped. The French fries were good. Overall I had a good experience here.

Katherine T.

Yelp
Outstanding quality of seafood! Oysters were magnificent, servers and chefs were nice.
google avatar

Em J.

Yelp
Delicious food. I enjoyed the halibut fish and chips and clam chowder. Service is fast and friendly. There are plenty of seats. You get to choose your own seats. They bring the food to your table. Everything tasted fresh. There are many options at bodega bay, but I loved this so much.
google avatar

Carrie R.

Yelp
In the past I loved it here ... not so much this time. Service was fine, little standoffish. You order at the counter and they bring you your food Crab cocktail- covered in cocktail sauce that was not very good - so much so that I couldn't taste the crab- which was the whole point! I had wished I ordered sauce on the side. Instead of how it comes - all in a bowl with mushy lettuce on the bottom/ tomato and avocado on top . The sauce killed it. The oysters were fine- but again the sauce I got came on them instead of on the side and it was nasty too. Normally I'm a condiment queen - but these sauces were just wrong -they overpowered and did not compliment- and worse they were covering all the delicious seafood so it could not be undone. ** I humbly suggest ordering your sauces on the side! And to the restaurant- change them . This is is the first time I've ever had sauce on my oysters I didn't like.

Yelp
When we arrived at Fisherman's Cove around lunchtime on Friday, there was a line out the door. However, we decided to stick it out, since it was moving pretty quickly. The ambiance was casual, with some nautical decor. They had both indoor and outdoor seating, but it was very limited compared to the large number of patrons. However, we got lucky and managed to snag an indoor table right after ordering. For food, the three of us shared a half dozen Raw Oysters and half dozen Grilled Oysters with Garlic Butter. Both were very good! The Grilled Oysters with Garlic Butter were less cooked than I had expected, but the flavor was great. I also got a Grilled Cheese Sandwich (tasty, pretty much as expected), and my friends got the Halibut Tacos and Shrimp Po Boy Sandwich. There was a slight mixup with the tacos, since they brought them out fried instead of grilled, but we were able to get that fixed quickly. Overall, a solid lunch spot!
google avatar

Daniel L.

Yelp
Fisherman's Cove is a pretty sweet spot out in bodega Bay with great seafood. The lines were long however there is plenty of seating inside and outside. I got the clam chowder here which I thought was OK as I enjoyed spud point better. This one did not have as much clams and was way waterythan I. It was still enjoyable though. I also got to grill fish tacos, which were pretty big and delicious. I just wish there was a little bit more flavor on the fish. Recommend the spot and would be back.
google avatar

Tasha M.

Yelp
Great casual spot to pick up lunch or dinner from. Order at the counter with super friendly service and get the tastiest freshest seafood! Loved the crab roll, lobster roll and the star was fish & chips! Will be returning when I'm in the area!

Andrea B.

Yelp
Been here a few times... so good!!! Service is excellent, friendly and very accommodating. We have a child with special needs and would park facing the view of the bay and the gentlemen delivered our food to us as it came out ready each time... so kind and friendly and service-oriented. THE FOOD-- Crab sandwich never disappoints, loaded with crab on a toasted, soft bun. Seriously must have if you like crab. Clam chowder is a winner. They have oyster crackers a well. Fish and chips are great!! You can choose rockfish (what we always get) or halibut. The fries are good, although I go straight to the fish. Great tartar and they have malt vinegar and other condiments. OYSTERS!! We've tried raw and grilled which are both good, but we keep going back to the grilled with garlic butter and wasabi cocktail sauce, YUM! Careful-- don't burn your mouth. You can add garlic bread which is also great! Nicely toasted, soft with a crunch. Menu has many, many more options, but we were looking for oysters, fish and chowder and keep ordering the same... this is the spot!! You will not be disappointed. You can eat outside on picnic tables or inside dining area. Small parking lot and surrounding street parking. And a clean bathroom. Note: A local recommended another place so we decided to give it a try--it did not even compare... not even close. Fisherman's Cove is now our go-to when in Bodega Bay.

Madison L.

Yelp
One of my favorite fish and chips in bodega bay always fresh, every time I'm down here this is one of my first stops.
google avatar

Salma F.

Yelp
We stopped by for oysters, they had great selection and other seafood dish options - very fresh
google avatar

Joanna M.

Yelp
I love this place for their fresh and perfectly briny oysters. The clam chowder is delicious, and I've also enjoyed their fish tacos. Sitting outside is the place to be for enjoying the Bodega breeze and saltwater smell in the air. My son is a picky eater and says that the grilled cheese is really good so I trust him on this. The staff are all kind and sweet-no salty fishermen here!
google avatar

Gerali D.

Yelp
easily the best oysters in california! while they can be pricey, you won't think twice once you've had your first oyster. came here on a holiday weekend and it was busy, but we were able to snag a spot on the shared picnic tables outside. their oysters are fresh, large, and creamy! their mignonette perfectly compliments the oysters. worth traveling to Bodega Bay just for these!
google avatar

cynthia l.

Yelp
The oysters were really fresh and flavorful. Fish and chips were solid, nothing fancy but cooked well. Fries were nice and crispy, not soggy at all, which is always a plus. Overall, it was a good meal. I would recommend it if you're craving some classic seafood. Prices were reasonable, too! The staff was friendly and welcoming

Yelp
No nonsense seafood spot serving some of the best fish and chips and oysters I've had in California (and as a whole) Stopped by here two weekends ago while out in Bodega Bay with my girlfriend. When we arrived there was a bit of line (a testament to this place's popularity and quality) - it took us a bout 20 minutes to get in and place our order. The restaurant itself is very quaint - reminiscent of Sea Food spots I used to go to on Cape Cod as a kid growing up. Seating is self serve, and there is outdoor and indoor seating available. For food, I got an order of Oysters and Fish and Chips. My girlfriend, who is vegetarian, surprisingly had a few options to pick from and she ended up getting the avocado and chips. The first thing to come out were the oysters - and my god were they fantastic. The Mignonete served along with was a perfect balance of sweet and acidic and the oysters themselves were delicious - the best oysters I've ever had. Perfectly meaty and briny. The fish and chips were also quite good - the house tartar sauce added a nice brightness to each bite and surprisingly I found the fries to be awesome (perfectly crispy and very well seasoned) My girlfriends Avocado and chips were also solid - I think next time she'd opt for the veggie melt though All in all, I'd definitely recommend Fisherman's cove. The food here is top notch and you can't go wrong giving this place a visit

Jo P.

Yelp
First time at this place. Arrived about 11:30 on 2/21. Lucked out with finding a parking spot in their tiny lot! There's seating inside and out, you wait in line to order and food brought to your table. We scored a table at the window overlooking the bay. Very nice people at the counter. We had Halibut fish& chips, a small bowl of clam chowder, regular fish and chips & garlic bread. Food arrived in good time. Never had Halibut fish @ chips before but they were so delicious with 3 pieces & generous fries that were outstanding too! Cod fish & chips of 3 pieces didn't disappoint either-very tasty! The clam chowder is now my favorite of all the Bodega Bay seafood restaurants. The garlic bread was light and equally delicious. Heedless to say our next trip Halibut will be shared but all other things will be ordered! Can't wait!!

Yelp
We've been coming here every time we're in Bodega Bay! The workers are super nice and helpful. We went around 5pm on a Saturday and it was PACKED. A line out the door, but rightfully so. We got a dozen raw oysters, clam chowder, and the crab sandwich with aioli. LOVE the oysters from here. They're a good size and always fresh! Not to mention the vinaigrette is delicious and pairs so well with them. I always come here for the oysters. Clam chowder was also delicious. The chowder is not too thick but a good consistency. Lots of clams and veggies in it. Definitely one of the best chowders I've had in a while. And finally... the crab sandwich. The bread is soft and perfect for the crab. They give a lot of crab and it's the best with the aioli in my opinion. Overall, 10/10! Please make a stop here if you're in Bodega Bay. It's a must try!

Yelp
Busy restaurant next door to Spud Point Crab Company. There was a long line at Spud Point so I decided to give Fisherman's Cove a try. Very friendly staff. Lots of seafood items to choose from. Tried half of a crab sandwich and clam chowder. Also had a taste of the lobster roll. The crab sandwich was good. Lobster Roll was just ok; one positive thing is it did have a lot of lobster meat in it. If I had a choice between the two, I'd definitely go with the crab sandwich. Clam chowder was good but I prefer my chowders to be a little thicker and heartier. Indoor and outdoor seating available but it can get crowded as this is a touristy location and there aren't a whole lot of restaurants in the area. Small parking lot but also ample parking along the road.

Yelp
Great place for a relatively quick casual lunch if you are in the Bodega Bay Area. We noticed a lot of people ordering Fish & Chips, which looked pretty good. However, we opted for some healthier options... * Grilled Fish Tacos -- Nice chunks of perfectly grilled halibut in a soft taco wrap with some fresh veggie garnish, shredded cheese and crema. Super tasty! * Lobster Roll -- Lots of fresh seasoned lobster in a toasted soft French roll. A really good rendition. * Grilled Oysters with Garlic Butter -- BBQ oysters are a Bodega Bay specialty, and they do this well. Garlic Butter with lemon wedge has great flavor that doesn't overwhelm the fresh oysters. Comes with a couple slices of nicely toasted garlic bread. Plenty of seating indoors, and some pet friendly picnic tables outdoors which are great for a warmer weather day, with views of the Bay and harbor nearby. Order at the counter and they'll bring out your order when ready.
