I honestly love this store, it's changed everything for how i feel about the neighborhood, fishtown was ironically desperately needed a good market for seafood before this opened. I'm from originally Baltimore which means you can turn a corner and bump into a seafood market. Phillys slim pickings was always a bummer for me. But this store bridges the gap, I trust everything they sell since the owner is so knowledgeable and conscientious. the dollar oysters option is so lovely i now am a master at shucking. Also love their morals. Love the mussels monday too!

Absolutely LOVE Fishtown Seafood!!! They have been a staple on our weekly menu since they opened because the quality is unmatched. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable; they taught me to how to shuck oysters. I don’t by seafood anywhere else (steaks are also sublime). 10/10

Got some seafood filling and shrimp… wow !! The lovely dude at the front counter gave us some good tips and we enjoyed some homemade seafood ravioli with vodka sauce and shrimp! Would definitely recommend checking out this cute little corner fish spot.

Man this place had an Australian Wagyu hangar steak and NWA on when we were shopping. How do you even come close to that? This place is off the chain. We got sockeye salmon and mahi mahi and redfish. All were super fresh, flash frozen and delicious. We’re going to make this a regular stop on our walks through the wards.

We’ve been so happy to know that Fishtown Seafood is around the corner. Bryan is highly knowledgeable and passionate about what he sells and makes great recommendations every time! We enjoy the Friday happy hour oyster selections, and recently tried the sashimi grade salmon which was delicious! We used the salmon to make a ceviche. It’s so great to have a small business in the neighborhood that offers fresh and responsibly sourced seafood. It’s become our go-to spot!

Fishtown Seafood has an amazing variety of fish and seafood options. The quality is amazing and you can really taste the difference. Bryan is highly knowledgeable and directly sources the seafood. The fish packaging even reveals the captain of the boat’s name; it’s clear to see that everyone involved with getting the seafood to your door is proud of the product they sell.

This place is awesome!! I’ve been looking for some place like this for years. I bought oysters, a sashimi grade tuna filet, and big eye sashimi tuna chunks. Prices are reasonable. Brian who works there was super helpful and gave me a demo on how to shuck an oyster, which worked successfully for me when I got home. I shucked the oysters and made poke bowls, everything was delicious.

Bryan has a great selection of fish at Fishtown Seafood! My partner and I picked up some Coho Salmon and incredible premium scallops for Valentine’s Day and with Bryan’s advice they came out so well! Highly recommend for anyone’s responsible seafood needs & the many provisions sold here.

While waiting to pick up my order I was impressed by the enthusiasm of the staff member assisting the customers ahead of me. I loved her step by steps instructions and tips in the preparation of the seafood they purchased and even the additional bonus of knowing the information is available on their instagram page. The selection of seafood , especially in such a small space , is super impressive. I can't wait to come back to have a refresher lesson on shucking oysters ..... please note Fishtown Seafood was voted best place to learn to shuck oysters in 2022

This seafood market place is really amazing. I have been trying to get into making my own poke bowls and this place was definitely a good choice when starting the process of learning. The owner is very kind and walked me through the steps of "sashimi grade fish". The market might be small but you can see the owner's love and the quality of his products. You know it is quality when AKA (the restaurant) even gets their seafood through this market. When I received my items, he put in an instructional guide as well on how to thaw the fish.

I got some of their fresh large scallops to make a crudo and they were so sweet and delicious! I can't wait to go back to try more of their fresh seafood!

It's so great to finally have local seafood in Fishtown! Amazing selection that changes all the time. Cute little shop with a lot to offer + friendly staff! 10/10 recommend. Support local!

They have the best fresh fish, you have a choice of fresh or frozen if you want to plan your meals ahead. Everything you may need to make suhi, nice canned seafood as well. And also the freshest oysters for a great deal. We love that Fishtown seafood is in our neighborhood

Great local fish store in the heart of fishtown. My favorite part are the specials, BOGO shrimp, a mystery bag full of sea urchins, this place will be your go to for seafood!

Love the fish selection but really have to recommend the oyster selection on Friday happy hour. So many different varieties!
