We had a lunch reservation and ordered: - fresh spinach with cod - sea bream - Cantonese style fried red snapper with endive - tender beef cheek - flan with spicy mango chutney Loved the sea bream! Great quality fish and olive oil paired nicely with the herbs on top. Our favorite dish of the meal. Spinach dish was cooked in a delicious sauce with cod and garlic - a close second favorite. Fried red snapper was well cooked and seasoned however not deboned. They ask u whether u want it with or without the head on the plate. Tender beef cheeks are indeed very tender, though drowning in a sauce that has a sour/vinegar-y taste (not bad though). Flan was so interesting! Not too sweet and with a kick from the spicy mango chutney. Everything was very well done! The portions are bigger than expected (we were expecting tapas portions). The atmosphere is modern and rustic. Would love to come back when in Madrid again.

Great meal from start to finish. Every dish was delicious, with my favourite being the rock mussels. Smaller than usual, but so juicy and full of flavour. The cheesecake was great too, oozy center and slightly savoury.

Loved this place so much! Proper food gourmet experience - mamma mia! Will come here again and again. The wine was good, staff were friendly and attentive - we didn’t have to wait for anything really - atmosphere and interior was done to perfection and the food was top tier! We had cod carpaccio, schnitzel with truffle and white fish with some soy sauce and olive oil.

One of my most memorable dining experiences! From the first time we walked by and saw twinkling candlelight dancing on simple white tablecloths and reflecting off sparkling wine glasses, I was obsessed with eating there, ourselves. Sometimes an impression disappoints and sometimes it surpasses. The refined rustic setting, exceptional service, creative flavors, and live guitar music, indeed, surpassed my imaginings. The food offerings feature fresh ingredients and are punctuated with the food delivery at table - mixing, cutting, cheese grating - adding to the experience. The juxtapositions of flavors and textures delivered joy to the palate. Creamy cheese with salted ham and sweet peaches touched by a hint of green. Tender sea bass belly with citrusy curly endive. Tender meat perfectly seasoned and breaded. Smooth smoked flan with mango chutney that may have been the best dish I’ve ever tasted. The experience at Fismuler gave us a perfectly paced and delicious romantic evening in Madrid. Gracias!

We were visiting from NYC to see our daughter, who’s studying abroad in Madrid, and wanted to treat her and her friends to a nice dinner. Fismuler delivered! We were a group of ten and were seated at a lovely oval table that made conversation easy and enjoyable. We shared an array of dishes — many of them outstanding. The dorada, alcachofas, arroz rojo, and escalope are not to be missed. Fismuler was incredibly accommodating, and after almost four hours, nine bottles of wine, and lots of laughter, we all agreed: it was a perfect night of great food and great vibes. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Food was great, they definitely use very good product. On the pricy side for what you order. Their cheesecake is a must if you want try a different take on the classic cheesecake (theirs has a wonderful stronger cheese flavor)

I tried both of the restaurants in Madrid and Barcelona. The food never disappoints. We got the san román escalope and the duck with sweet corn. If I were to go again, I wouldn’t go for the duck. To finish off, the chocolate tart is A MUST, very dense but very tasty. I need to say that service needs to be improved, the cocktails came late after the entries, and our order was forgotten. Still, this is a place I return back and back, due to its beautiful ambiance and nice menu that changes seasonally.

I came to this restaurant this week to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and overall we had a lovely evening. The food was genuinely great, everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, and we were really enjoying ourselves. However, there was a very serious issue that left us extremely upset. For religious reasons, we do not eat pork. We explicitly told the waiter this before ordering. As we were choosing our dishes, we carefully asked about the ingredients in multiple items to make sure they did not contain pork. Each time, we were assured they did not. When it came to the schnitzel specifically, we made a point to double-check what type of meat it was. We were clearly told it was veal. Today, a friend of ours went to the restaurant and mentioned that we had recommended the schnitzel. The waiter informed her that the schnitzel is actually pork. This is deeply concerning. If we were served pork after explicitly stating that we do not eat it for religious reasons and confirming multiple times, that is a serious breach of trust. Dietary and religious restrictions should be treated with care and accuracy. The food may have been good, but this experience has left us feeling disappointed and uncomfortable. We hope the restaurant takes this matter seriously and ensures staff are properly informed about the dishes they are serving.
