Fist of Fusion Island Grill closes in the southwest - Eater Vegas

"Fist of Fusion Island Grill, the Hawaiian restaurant in the southwest, closed on Sunday. The restaurant announced the shutter on Facebook: “We are deeply saddened to announce that this Sunday will be our last day in service. Please come out and join us as we celebrate our time here in Las Vegas. Thank you for all the love and support and hopefully we will see you again.” Fist of Fusion opened in November 2017 with a roster of Hawaiian and Filipino dishes. The food truck out of Los Angeles was formerly known as Truck Norris until a lawsuit from Chuck Norris, the famous inspiration, forced the restaurant to change its name. The food truck version of the restaurant routinely hit the food truck circuit in Las Vegas." - Susan Stapleton

One of my favorite places in town. It's Hawaiian fusion, so don't expect traditional food here, this places is amazing. They have fun twists on the normal Hawaiian dishes. I recommend trying to spam katsu if you like spam. You absolutely MUST have the Krispy pork belly!

Fist of fusion is a fun place to eat Hawai'ian food, local food! Their POG lemonade is a sweet tasting drink! A must to try... I ordered the Chicken Katsu Burrito (not printed on the menu), very interesting and delicious flavors coming from within the coleslaw. conveniently cut in half for your mouth watering pleasure 🤑 It was a surprising moment experiencing rice and mac salad all mixed in. It's huge! A little messy (so I wouldn't eat it while driving.) I took some pictures for you to see. The hamburger steak was just as yummy. Though, someone at our table mentioned "Island Flavor" has the best tasting - I'll have to try both at the same time and let you know. LOL! I'm not a shrimp fan... Though if spice to your life is what you're looking for, you'll find that here. The staff are very friendly and know their product well. Very courteous and happy to serve. PS. They serve Pepsi products here- yahhh! Over all, I WILL recommend to friends, families, and strangers. Leave your cash at home. They take plastic! Downside: not too much, but they DO NOT have a location YET (hint, hint) in North Las Vegas area. Awwww! And DO NOT deliver to the area as well with "postmates" which, since we're on the subject, their motto "Anytime, Anywhere" is not accurate. They won't deliver 25 minutes away. So, we'll just have to wait for more local favorites from Hawai'i to come up North! Until we EAT again! "Let All That You Do Be Done In Love" 🌺Aloha ✌🖒🖒

Food was delicious. I also enjoyed their POG lemonade. I really liked the sauce they gave with the spam musubis. Customer service was good. I took off a star because the music was extremely loud when we went. The music was great, it was just way too loud for a small dining area. The manager or owner needs to mark off a spot on the volume setting that says do not make volume louder than this. Other than that, food was yummy.

Seen this place on Instagram, so decided to try it out. Was greeted as soon as we walked in & the place was very clean. Ordered the shrimp plate & it was delicious. Will definitely be back & recommend it as well.

Great food. Please try the grilled pineapples they are the bomb. I got the kids rice bowl and hubby got the two meat rice bowl. We also enjoyed the musubi rolls and churros. We will definitely be headed back there real soon. 🤙🏾

The Chicken Katsu Burrito was awesome, but my go to is the Chirizo Spam Katsu bowl with extra furikaki :)
