The 13 Best Restaurants & Bars In Dripping Springs 2024

"Fitzhugh is one of the newer breweries in Dripping Springs, with excellent beers and a shiny white exterior that looks like it’s straight out of a modern farmhouse Pinterest board. The tap list includes a German Oktoberfest, a Scottish shilling, and a gluten-free chica morada made from purple corn, quinoa, and rice. If you get hungry, they have a big selection of bar bites and handhelds, like brisket burnt ends and a bacon cheddar burger that’ll keep you (and whatever small children may be accompanying you) happy. There’s also a spacious indoor area where you can enjoy your hatch chili hot chicken sandwich on texas toast and an IPA in relative peace. " - nicolai mccrary, anne cruz

We stopped by Fitzhugh Brewing on Mother’s Day with other family and littles. Plenty for the kids to do! Nice playground, and on M’s Day they had face painting and balloon animals. We tried the special quiche plate (M’s Day treat), burgers and chicken and waffles. All were good. Beers and mimosas also tasty. Great family outing place. We’ll go back for sure!

The pit smoke smell hits you as soon as you open the car door and your mouth starts to water. It was difficult to choose which beers to sample because we wanted to try so many. Really enjoyed all we tasted and enjoyed how they paired with the food, which was incredible. We had the nachos with carnitas, a full dish I was expecting be dry but was pleased to see the half inch of queso in the bottom so there was plenty for dipping! Brussels were excellent! Crisp, tasty, well seasoned and not greasy. Pork belly burnt ends were also incredible and we really enjoyed the chipotle raspberry sauce served on the side. I’m not a sauce eater with barbecue because I want to taste the meat. This sauce was a fabulous accent and a great balance - not fruity or too spicy or heavy. The building is gorgeous inside and out. Loads of seating in both places as well. Outside area looks like a great place to hang out for food or fun with beers. Loads of free parking in the lot in the front. We will definitely be back!

On vacation with the family, this is where you can meet up to eat and drink without the hassle of cooking or fast food. We have a blast here and we can't wait until June 2025 to party at the Brewery. The food is great and the brew is better.

I recently visited Fitzhugh Brewery and had an overall mixed experience. While the brewery itself had a good welcoming atmosphere and was both kid and dog-friendly, I must admit that my excitement dwindled when it came to the food. However, I do want to highlight their excellent selection of beers, particularly the delicious hazy IPA I had. Let's start with the positive aspects. Fitzhugh Brewery provides a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy some quality time. It's wonderful to see that they are accommodating to families and pet owners, creating an inclusive environment. Now, let's delve into the disappointing aspects, specifically regarding the food. Our experience with the Mac and cheese was rather underwhelming. While I expected a cheesy delight, it seemed like there was an overwhelming amount of cheese, leaving the Mac swimming in it. The balance between pasta and cheese was certainly lacking. Moving on to the pretzel, I was surprised to find that it tasted more like a Hawaiian sweet roll rather than the savory delight I anticipated. It was an unexpected flavor profile that didn't quite hit the mark. Unfortunately, the hot chicken sandwich failed to impress as well. It lacked the flavorful punch one would expect from a hot chicken sandwich. The excess oil oozing out of it detracted from the overall experience, making it a less enjoyable dish. To top it off, the pepperoni pizza was a disappointment. The base felt uncooked, resulting in a soggy texture that was far from appetizing. It was a letdown considering the promise of a satisfying pizza. Despite these shortcomings, Fitzhugh Brewery redeems itself with its commendable selection of beers. The hazy IPA I tried was truly delicious and showcased the brewery's brewing expertise. For beer enthusiasts, this place certainly has something to offer. However, I would strongly urge Fitzhugh Brewery to address the issues with their kitchen. The inconsistencies and lackluster execution of the food items detracted from the overall experience. While I may return for the great beer, it is crucial that they prioritize improving the quality and execution of their food offerings to provide a well-rounded experience for their patrons.

July 2023: Fitzhugh Brewing stands out from the road with its white stylish farmhouse look. It was truly picturesque, and looked like they reclaimed lumber and windows to build this place giving it great character. The inside was the same where their designer did a great job with the look and layout. There was plenty of seating and could see the beer tanks in the back. Outside had a huge park like setting with more tables and a huge farmhouse style playground of the kids. I first ordered a Brew Deck Blonde Ale and chatted with the guy working here about the place and selection of brews. The beer was good and refreshing. My wife and I also wanted food so we studied the menu and selected the Fried Fish Tacos. I liked the atmosphere where a nice place to get away and take a break. They do serve soft drinks and if you prefer an alternate drink. Our food was brought to us and the fish tacos were quite good. It was designed to pair with your beer. It was a very friendly place in this Hill Country settings. The only things missing was to have chickens roaming around where the outdoor area was already fenced in like you see at the Austin Zoo. ;)

Google
Neat place, lots of space. Looks like it's great for kids, i think there were more kids than adults. Beer was good not great, my opinion. They do have food, didn't have any.

Google
Texas has a lot of these brew houses with lots of room outside to sit , drink relax and play some games with friends. Once again this place has a playground for kids.I see both sides of this coin the good and bad of this idea. Keep a eye on your kids, drunk people aren't always the most trustworthy. Just saying.

Google
The place was pretty good, but I keep going back to the word sterile. The whole experience was just underwhelming for me and wasn’t fun. I don’t know why, because the place is beautiful, they have a big outdoor area to sit and eat and there’s a play area for the kids run around. They have a nice indoor area too. Overall the place does have a really nice look and feel with a great layout. The beer is actually really good! We were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed the beers. The food on the other hand was just meh. They give you a lot of food, but it was sort of bland. We expected it to have a little more spice or flavor, but it didn’t. I would give this place a 3.5 star, but I’m rounding up because it does have potential. I think our experience just lacked a more liveliness there. The staff was OK, but not overly friendly. I don’t know why they didn’t make more of an effort to make us feel welcomed, but I feel that can be turned around. I rate places on four main areas. Food and drink, atmosphere, cleanliness and customer service. Everything was really good except for the food and customer service which were lacking. And I still can’t get over why the place felt so sterile to me. I hope this place can turn it around, because with more guests and a livlier environment, it should be more enjoyable and fun. A more savory food experience and better customer service would be huge!

Yelp
Kenny helped us out for most of the night and was awesome. Good food, good beer, and a cool setting. Will be back!

Yelp
We are new to the area making this our first time here. The bartender (kenny) was super helpful with recommending beer for each of us. You can tell he is a genuine good employee who likes what he does. We asked him what are some fun places around the area. He didn't know off the top of his head since he said he's from the Austin area. but said he would look up Some places for us. Which he did, he came over to talk to us at the table. We will most definitely be back to see Kenny & have the Ipa beer I loved! My husband likes the blonde beer that Kenny recommended. The place was gorgeous. Very clean & spacious. They had live music and looked like it was kid friendly. We only had drinks. But the food on the other tables looked delicious. 10/10

Yelp
Another trip to the Austin area means another trip to a beer garden I haven't been to, this one in Hill Country. Fitzhugh Brewing has a beautiful building, both from the inside and out, and sits on a large plot of land with plenty of parking and space to sit outside under shady trees. There is a large playground structure if you wanted to bring your kids with, a variety of drinks, not just the beer they brew, and amazing food. Here are the things I really like about Fitzhugh: -The general vibe and aesthetics. -The beertenders were all so kind and extremely knowledgeable. (I spilled my flight and they poured me a whole new one on the house). -There is a place for the kids to play if you have them. -Plenty of spaces to sit, both inside and out. -Offering drinks other than beer, such as wine, cider, and their in-house made hard-seltzers which are definitely the play. -The freaking food! This is the best beer garden food I have had in town. It is incredibly flavorful and easily the best thing about this place. I would seriously come just to eat. Here are some things which I didn't really care for: -Their beer. I started with a flight and ended with a few seltzers because I just really didn't care for their beer. -The sheer amount of kids there and the fact that nobody was really policing them. They were climbing on the playground in ways you weren't supposed to and parts of it (the siding) where actually coming undone and I could EASILY see a kid getting injured in the future. -The dusty outside. I get that it's outside, and in Texas hill country, and you have a bunch of people walking and running outside, but maybe put down some grass seed? I could see it being miserable on a windy day. Overall, a great spot to stop at while in Hill Country!

Yelp
Where to start? I do love this place. I would like to thank them for having a great kids area. The beer is good. The quality of the food is great. I do wish they had more items on the menu. All in all i do enjoy visiting this establishment.
google avatar

Yelp
If you're spending time in the Hill Country and need a break from the rustic country aesthetic come here for clean, bright, crisp farmhouse vibes. The beer tenders were very knowledgeable about the variety of beer that was brewed there and let us know that they change tap selections frequently which is always good to hear from a brewery. The food was just okay, bland and not memorable, especially compared to the flavors of the beer. My favorite brews were the Filipino Ube, how unique! And the Warped Window Hazy IPA. Such a bright, clean, and farmhouse in style. Lots of space for large parties and a great location for bringing along the dog or your children (there's even a nice playground). It can get a bit like Meanwhile in Austin as in overrun with children that are not being watched, but we were there earlier in the day to avoid that. There are picnic tables and chairs scattered about in your pick of sunny or shady areas, with plenty of room to have privacy for your party of people. We had some trouble with flys outside, but we had food and it is a large nature area

Yelp
Fun place to bring the family! Offers a playscape, great tasting food and beer, and often times live music.

Yelp
This brewery was a recommendation from a friend/local and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Blood Orange Saison beer after sampling a couple options as well as the fish and chips. While I'm not a big beer drinker, the beer was unique, flavorful and I enjoyed it! The fried fish was crispy, a bit overcooked and tasty. I thought the beer paired well with the fish and I would order again. The brewery building is absolutely beautiful and offers a large fenced in playscape for children. Service was great and even though I was given a heads up after ordering that my order might take a while because a bachelor party had just placed an order, my food arrived didn't take long at all to be prepared. I look forward to returning!

Yelp
Love the gluten free options-please continue to add more!! I got the chicken strips and fries on a weekday lunch. Chicken strips were bland and a little overcooked. Waffle fries were amazing. Ambiance is open/inviting, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Quiet during weekday. Definitely would return, would love to continue to see more menu options and allergen friendly too!

Yelp
Fitzhugh Brewing in Dripping Springs, TX is worth the drive from nearby ATX for not only the rolling hill country views, but also because it's a gorgeous spot with unique beer styles that will globalize your palate and has some to die for burnt ends! I wasn't sure what to expect when coming here, but the clean cut country aesthetic lends itself to the hill country vibe, but the beers are worldwide! I absolutely LOVED that they brew all sorts of beers from different countries and culturally inspired styles! They have this awesome world map with all of their past brews and their origins (there's also a QR code you can scan that takes you to their website where it features more in depth info on their past beers). I really enjoyed my flight here and being able to try a couple of styles I have never had before (and with over 5k beers under my belt, that's saying something!), but I gotta say, what really stole the show was their burnt ends! #BOMG were these things so damn delicious! The texture was perfect, the moisture was perfect, the burntness was perfect, the flavor and everything that happened after they went in my mouth was #perfection and they have haunted my dreams ever since. Needless to say, this place is a must-visit for the brews, chews, and views! Beers I had here: Prairie Fire Irish Red 4.8% Dutch Koyt Historical Beer 4.7% Sumerian Ale Honey Beer 4.5% Filipino Ube Pale Ale 5.3%

Yelp
I really really like this place! It's so spacious and it's bright and has plenty of seating, both inside and out. I only got a beer for Barks for Beers but honestly enjoyed the location. Got the Filipino Ube beer, which really tasted like ube. The sweet potato flavor was definitely there. It was a smooth drink that was easy to drink and might even be a good choice for those non-beer drinkers. Got some fried pickles and some wings. The fried pickles were good and while the wings might be too saucy for my liking, they were still good and had a nice smoky afternote. The service was great and friendly! Dog friendly and their bathrooms were so clean too. Also, for again for those non-beer drinkers, they do have other options like wine and stuff, just flip over the menu.

Yelp
OH man, I want to give this more, but I can't say I'd go out of my way to go here again. Maybe 3.5?? Here's the thing ... it has it's goods and not so goods as most places do, but the do the goods truly outweigh the not so? I'm not too sure. Here's the list: The Goods!! * Dog Friendly - LOVE THIS as I travel often with my pups and it's important for me to be able to take them along. The outdoor seating was ample with lots of shade trees to sit under. * Beer Selection was pretty good and I enjoyed what I had, PLUS they served them in glass which I LOVE too! F*** the plastic glasses for good brew! * The Pretzel was pretty yummy - I really enjoyed the beer mustard it was served with. Had we just had beer and pretzels you could have gotten me to give it a 4 ;) * Totally casual setting - come as you are, ball caps, flip flops, t-shirts, dirty from hiking or climbing - you'll do just fine here. The Not so Goods: * The KIDS!! While this might be a bonus for some, it was not for me. Don't get me wrong, I like places that have space for kids to be kids, but they were EVERYWHERE!! Unsupervised, all over the place, running up to my dogs who were freaked out by them! Contain them to an area please so there's space for others please parents. * The nachos and Chopped Beef Sandwich with a side of coleslaw. Hmmmm, what to say ... The nachos were just something I could whip up at home, the slaw was dry and boring, and the chopped beef was underwhelming and covered in sauce. And seriously - serve stuff with utensils and napkins if you're making messy food! It wasn't terrible, but again - I wouldn't go out of my way for it. So over all - If I'm next door to it, I'd go back. But it's out there, so...

Yelp
This is my new favorite spot! Plenty of outdoor, spaced-out seating under the cedar trees. Large playground right in the middle to watch the little ones play. Air-conditioned indoor tables as well. All the food I have tried is great. The fried chicken sandwich special, pulled pork tostadas(?), the beet and arugula salad... it's all good. Only disappointment was the Mac and cheese, pretty sure it's Kraft. But hey, that was for the kids anyway. I will definitely keep frequenting this place when I am out on Fitzhugh, and especially once the weather gets cooler. Oh, and all the workers are super friendly as well. Good work, team!

Yelp
First off, all of the staff here were outstanding. So friendly, personable and helpful, and honestly made our experience a delight. The location is very well designed, with tons of natural light and indoor seating for those in need of AC. The outside area has a nice, new-looking playground with adirondack chairs surrounding it for parents to relax in with a drink. Plentt of table seating outside as well, and a good amount of shade. They keep an ice water silo on the porch with cups for humans and water bowls for pups. We ordered a LOT from the menu for our party of 3 adults and 4 kids. The hot chicken sandwich, pretzel, fried tomatoes, were standouts, but the rest (kids corndogs, kids burger, adult burger, club sandwich) were solid as well, no complaints. The real stars were the drinks and desserts. Everything we ordered on tap was great, and the cheesecake was the best I've had in Texas, a real rich, not too sugary New York style. The chocolate and berry pies were also amazing, with the churro donut sundae close behind. We all had a favorite, and will definitely stop by again when we're in town!

Yelp
Yet another stop on boozey Fitzhugh. Good, fresh food. Good, standard and unique beer. Really good people. Comfortable setting with room for the kids to roam. Plenty of parking. Shade outside, covered patio, and AC inside. Dog friendly (outside). Great for groups. Competitive prices. We like. We'll be back.

Yelp
We came here after trying a couple of beer places in area. We really enjoyed this place. The beer was good and they had non beer options (one of our friends is a celiac). The nachos with brisket were a nice combo for the area..The beer was delish! They have indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Yelp
You should drive here from wherever you are. Fitzhugh Brewing in Dripping Springs has a gorgeous beer haus with great brews and dining. We tried their beer flight. We snacked on their giant soft pretzel, which came with cheese sauce and honey mustard for dipping.
google avatar

Bee B.

Yelp
This place is super cool! Love the aesthetic and thank goodness for AC in this Texas heat. Fitzhugh is definitely tucked away, so it's a trek, but a great find. Came here on my Barks for Beers paw-sport. Trying their Ube pale ale, and it's quite delicious. Definitely taste the ube. If you're down south, check it out.

Yelp
The beer is great but the atmosphere is very lacking. When we showed up on a Saturday afternoon, there was no seating. You had to enter (with a dog) through a crowded patio with other dogs. I luckily found 2 chairs not being used at a table to pull aside, but oh lord. There were kids EVERYWHERE. I can handle well behaved kids but there were probably 5 kids per every adult there. It was madness. They were running all over and several times the poor guy delivering food to tables was almost tripped up by them. Our dog was super overwhelmed by parents not watching their kids running up to him. My husband went to get us beer while I waited outside with the dog, and it took him at least 15mins the line was so long. The beer deserves 5 stars but our dog (and us) were so uncomfortable with how crowded and crazy it was, that we left after quickly sharing a flight. I'd come back, but it would only be right when they opened, and not for very long, considering they're this crowded often. I definitely don't feel like they took distancing or mask-wearing seriously....my husband and I were the only ones outside wearing them when not at our seated area. Oh, and the sewage smell is so insane. Rotten eggs bad. Hard to enjoy a good beer with that constant smell. Reminded me of Twisted X Brewing.

Sreven J.

Yelp
Great food, great choice of beers, and amazing staff. The staff helped us choose the right beers for us.

Sara J.

Yelp
Wow, what a cool place!! So much space indoors and out. Great beer selection...there were several I liked and couldn't decide which was my favorite. Brisket Queso mmmmmmmmm. Lots of beautiful trees and shade, a playscape for kids, dog friendly, ice water freely available for peeps and pups. We got lucky and a musician got on stage playing some fantastic rock and blues. We will definitely be back!!
google avatar

Yelp
This is definitely one of the best breweries I've been to. Great beers and even better atmosphere! I love the modern, sophisticated structure that matched perfectly with their clean branding / logo! Bathrooms were extremely clean and the outdoor space was well maintained! The staff were all extremely nice! I was so intrigued by their Filipino Ube on the menu that I had to order it. My husband had a flight, and then tried my Ube beer and had to order one for himself. For snacks, we ordered their brisket queso and burnt ends. Both were good! To all the naysayers, don't go to a brewery and expect Michelin-star rated food. It's a brewery! Upon closing out our tab, I noticed their white growlers! I loved the look of it and ended up getting it filled with the Ube beer. It was only $35! In addition, you can bring it back and fill it up for only $12! Count me in! There was plenty of space outside for kids to run and dogs to lie around. Although, my little one isn't quite old enough to even crawl yet, we look forward to returning when she is older. Thanks for your great service and hospitality, Fitzhugh! Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Perfect way to escape the city to head out into the hill country. The drive from austin was beautiful and this brewery makes you feel like you are in the country giving you fun and different vibes. Perfect place for large groups and kids. I went on a Saturday and they had live music which was great! They also have a playground for children. The food items were delicious and came out quickly. I would definitely come back again!

Yelp
A year later I came back to see if it was worth the trip. Eh. Now I have a 2 year old. That was pretty much the only appeal. That and that it was gated in so no matter where my kid ran off to, I could see him. Beer was ok. Not great IMO. Jester has way more options. Treaty oak also has a decent selection for being a distillery. Food remains sub par. Most the dipping sauces tasted like they were made from powder. The nachos were heavy in chips and jalapeños. Lacking in flavor. The chopped sandwich was dry and could use some work. The pretzel was dry and lacking and the sauces that were paired were not helping. The fries tasted like they were originally frozen. The fried pickles were actually pretty good. Light on the batter. The chocolate pie was very heavy but probably the best part of all the food. Not even sure it was made there. My kid has a strawberry mango Popsicle. He finished it. I assume he liked it. The people here are nice and the service is decent. The outside is great if you have kids. The food and drinks really could use some work considering the competition in the area.
google avatar

Sebastian F.

Yelp
I really like the location and their beer garden. They have an interesting selection of beers, some of them are really good. Staff is nice and friendly. Their food is mediocre at best: HEB has better Salsa than their home made one, the chips are restaurant style cardboard. Stay away from their pizza, as it's is not worth the $13 nor the 2000 calories -- and a frozen one at home tastes better.

Ashley P.

Yelp
Drinks were great and food was great. Linda the beer pourer was very rude. Maybe think about another job if you want to be so rude and hate your job.
google avatar

Roland D.

Yelp
TLDR: A little bit out there, but worth the drive Came here on a Saturday afternoon. The first impression of both the outside and the inside is the asthetic. It is very tastefully put together (so much so It's worth commenting on). It has the right balance of "instagramability" with a twist of "modern farmhouse". The day I came out here, it was a tad crummy, so I didn't get to enjoy the outdoor area as much as I would have liked, but it is expansive. I'll certainly be back in better weather. It's not all look though, they do have the beer to back it up. I only got to have two different ones on tap, but they were both really pleasant. on my next visit I hope to try some more, and see what they have to offer. Overall: 4.25/5
google avatar

Yelp
I've been to this spot a couple times with friends and kids. Parking is always easy up front and there is always a lot of space, tables to sit. There's also a play scape for kids. Food options are also great for a brewery!

Yelp
We love all the gf food items and the beautiful playground. We really enjoy all of the kid night activities they put on. The staff is always exceptionally kind as well.

Yelp
This place is good vibe on any day. It has beautiful outdoor seating, bring you family, dog, or dogs & just enjoy the whole outdoor feels.

Yelp
My friends and I stopped by to try the new food over the weekend. We had previously had this food at the Twisted X location and were excited to have this chef back in town and he didn't disappoint. The chicken sandwich is amazing! We definitely ordered too much food and took leftovers home. I also had the English mild and flight ice creams and it was all delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
Great service and beer! I had a lot of questions about the food and the cashier who helped me was very patient. I got the club sandwich with turkey and it was stellar. The beer flight was awesome too!

D B.

Yelp
We had the fries with all the stuff they we great, the beer was cold and very tasteful I had the blonde or the lightest one. The service was really good the guy at the bar helped us pick what beer we would like. We sat on the patio the ambience was relaxing. This place is a must go.

Yelp
Super cute brewery with nice apparel and what looked like great food! We didn't eat because we just had lunch but we will next time!

Yelp
There's no shortages of good breweries in the area, but Fitzhugh is truly unique. It has a clean farmhouse feel, but the real differences are in brewing. Like everyone else, Nate has your boring light ales and hazy IPA, but move past that to his one of a kind styles like the Lithuanian Folk, Valkyrie, etc. They rotate the taps between the predictable and the historic beers from the corners of the world your never knew existed...until now. Keep it up and I'll be back.

Lt C.

Yelp
This place is the absolute best! The beer is so delicious and there is a good variety. The food is super yummy-everything we ordered was SO good, great quality. The playground is a lot of fun for the kiddos. Nice bathrooms! Kind, helpful staff. My 4 year old was pleased and so was my 70-year old dad (and everyone in between).
google avatar

Yelp
Great selection of brews, good food, wonderful atmosphere and a roomy place! Top it all off with staff that seemingly enjoys working there- makes for a wonderful experience! My husband and I went on a Sunday and greatly enjoyed ourselves. Wonderful to have another stellar local

Great food, beer, dog friendly, beer, playground, beer, burnt ends, beer, red and white wine, beer, dessert, beers. CRAZY fun brewery to visit.

Yelp
The space is a modern farmhouse look with high ceilings and clean, modern lines and the outside area has plenty of seating and trees for shade. Aesthetically it is close to perfect, but I have to knock a point off for the food. We ordered the smokehouse nachos and while they were delivered promptly, they were barely warm with cold pieces of brisket. I have to say, I'm amazed they can find anyone to deliver orders to, since you only get a table card for them to locate you, but in our case, we were seated close to the door, so he came straight to us. The beer was okay and I had the cider mimosa. Another thing I was less excited about, but didn't take points off for, was the number of children running around the place. There is a large playscape outside and as a parent whose child was once young, I get wanting to have places that are kid friendly, but that's just not my jam anymore. Again, I don't fault the place for that, but it'd probably make me less likely to return.

Yelp
My family and I've been coming here since Fitzhugh Brewing opened, and it still is such an enjoyable experience. They added a bacon cheeseburger to the specials recently, which when added to their beer, it's a great way to begin the weekend. It's still one of my favorite places for a relaxing evening after a busy day/week at work.

Yelp
Nice large outdoor area. Though not sure how I feel with kids on shared playscape (I don't have any but thinking of covid). Tables are far apart and outdoors. Good food. Interesting beer. Don't bother with the Mac and cheese as it's very reminiscent of Kraft that you can make at home. The fried chicken tenders were just ok. The sausage sampler platter was tasty. They had other items on the menu that looked good but we didn't have a chance to try them this go-round. The Barbados Stout was a fine stout. The Wee Scottish was more unique but wasn't as peaty as I would like, but was still tasty.

Chill atmosphere, great beers, plenty of shade, & the hot chicken sandwich is delicious

Yelp
We visit a lot of breweries and this one is top notch. Great outdoor space. Airy indoor space. But the yard. The yard is where it's at. Kids and dogs and beer and barbecue on the nachos. Beer was good, but less offerings than most breweries. But it was good and we would recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
Great Hill Country spot! We loved trying it this weekend. Fitzhugh didn't disappoint!

Yelp
We really enjoyed our time at Fitzhugh! We arrived around noon on a Saturday. They had lots of open tables inside, as well as a large outdoor space with tables. We liked the beer and food we tried. We will return next time we are in the area!

Yelp
I love Fitzhugh Brewery! I always have the best time and I love how they change their beer options so you can try something different each time. Their food is also delicious, I haven't ordered anything I didn't like. It's a great atmosphere with very friendly staff, and so much space! Go out and support this small business!

Yelp
Love this place, spacious with friendly staff and great selection of beer. Had the Belgian golden strong and the Warped window IPA both were on point with great notes.

Yelp
The beer was good, with an imaginative selection. Only had a couple. Food was disappointing. But, be warned, this place is like an out of control day care. There were possibly one little kid per adult, and it was crowded. Two year old's birthday parties and diaper changes going on. I'm not kidding. Beyond absurd. If a brewery can't keep screaming monsters away from the rest of us, they shouldn't be allowed.

Yelp
Better food than beer. Sometimes line gets long but moves reasonably quick. Great outdoor area for younger kids
