"Honoring the legacy of Dr. John and Blanche Ogle who were the town’s attending physician and wife back in the day, hospitality is this breakfast-through-supper restaurant’s mantra. Chef Jason Albert focuses on Southern staples from sweet breads and catheads to hand-cut, house-smoked heartland dishes like pork ribs and fried chicken livers. Where to Eat and Drink Near Great Smoky Mountains National Park | Eater

"About 45 minutes north of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Sevierville is quieter and less touristy than Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It’s also a town with a rich, longstanding agricultural legacy, which lives on at Five Oaks Farm Kitchen. The grounds outside the restaurant are garnished with tractors and trucks, while the interior of the enormous farmhouse dining room features lofty ceilings, wooden chandeliers, and communal picnic tables. In the morning, breakfast means fried pork chops smothered in sausage gravy and eggs scrambled with pecan-smoked bacon. Lunch and dinner take advantage of the adjoining smokehouse for barbecue-focused fare, such as hickory-smoked chicken and prime rib of beef with grated horseradish mustard and au jus." - Matt Kirouac

If you want a southern breakfast, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is woody and welcoming, similar but way better than a Cracker Barrel. The service was very helpful and very attentive. Lastly the food. Some of the best southern food I’ve had. Everything on the menu is good. Everything tastes homemade and fresh. Beware, the portion sizes are massive and you will feel full for the next three days. I highly recommend the cinnamon roll for the table. The prices are also very very reasonable compared to many other places in the area. Go here!

Google
Gorgeous modern farmhouse setting. Lots of seating and bright light shining in. Located right next to SkyLand Ranch on Pigeon Forge’s main parkway. Portions are ginormous. Loved everything including the biscuits and hearty griddle cakes. Little bit of something for everyone!

Stopped in for dinner after a long day at the park. Food was delicious, service was the best we’ve had anywhere, thank you to Francesco our waiter. The atmosphere was very nice just like being at home. Food portions are huge for the money and food came out super fast. Highly recommend and definitely would eat here again.

Google
This was hands down the best meal we had on our vacation. We stopped on our way out of town. We arrived a few minutes before they opened and there was already a line waiting to get in. My husband who is Gluten Free was able to get an omelet, fried potatoes, and fruit. The rest of us enjoyed our meal as much as we enjoyed our server Summer! Make sure to allow time to wait to get in. You can also join the wait list online. The cinnamon rolls were enormous!!! Be prepared to share!!!

Google
We stopped by this place and had a great experience, great food, and great service. The staff was friendly, and the wait time was really short considering how busy the place was. It was only 10 minutes! We ordered the Oak Farm Omelet Fried Steak Kids' Waffle Kids' Pancake And without a doubt, the cinnamon roll. 🥴😋😲😳 Everything was delicious. We'll be back!

Google
We came in from out of state not knowing what kind of food it was- Assumed country type food due to the name. It was and all very good. The biscuits were amazing. We all ordered different items off the menu and everything was so good! Portion size was enough to take away for a mini meal after you’ve had your fill. I would definitely return again next time we’re in the area.

Google
I have to say this was the best food we've had in a long time. The food is phenomenal. The portions are huge and definitely worth the price. The chicken livers were the best I've ever had, the fried green tomatoes, and the potato salad were amazing. My daughter said the catfish, the turnip greens, and the mashed potatoes were the best she's ever had. My sisters chicken platter looked like something out of a medieval movie. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star review is because the service was not that great. Everyone was kind of rude and acted like they were annoyed. Our waitress was good at refills and bringing our food, but she really wasn't that friendly, either. Overall, we will be back because the food is phenomenal. Maybe everyone was just busy or having a rough day.

Google
Get the griddle cakes!!! 2nd time visiting this place and the griddle cakes were jsut as good as I remember. The main breakfast is good, but the griddle cakes are out of this world.. I have never tasted anything like them. There is usually a short wait, but its definitely worth it. The decor is great and the service was awesome. The cinnamon bun looked amazing! Ill be back.

Mark W.

Yelp
We went for breakfast and had to get the Cinnamon Roll...Wow! I got a casserole and it came with biscuits and gravy which were very good. The waitress was awesome and right on time. Definitely will stop again when we're in Tennessee.

Yelp
Went to Five Oaks Farm Kitchen based off of reviews on yelp. Did not disappoint. Rated 4 stars only because my original chicken order was slightly undercooked.. when brought to my servers attention, she apologized and I chose a different meal.. which was even better.

Amy B.

Yelp
Food is great. Service is outstanding! Thanks Summer for an amazing lunch! The cinnamon roll was delicious.

Yelp
Five Oaks Farm Kitchen is a true gem! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the superb ambiance. The rustic yet charming decor creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The service was impressively fast and efficient. The staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. And the food - simply outstanding! Every dish we tried was delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot on. Whether you're craving comfort food or looking to try something new, Five Oaks Farm Kitchen has something for everyone. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience. I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely be coming back. If you're in Sevierville, don't miss out on this fantastic restaurant!

Yelp
This place has gone way down since our last visit. In December, we had the BEST breakfast we've had in a long time (at a restaurant). The corned beef was a show stopper and so was the red eye Benney. We returned today, corned beef is no longer on the menu, epic disappointment. But we still got two eggs Benny because we knew it was delicious, and it was totally different. The red eye gravy was very salty and didn't taste the same, and our hollandaise sauce was served cold, and the ham was dry. We were soooooo disappointed, what a crash from the meal we had here in December. Sadly now we don't trust the consistency on this place and will transition back to Crocketts basecamp for our go-to bfast.

Yelp
Ambiance was cute! The food was subpar at best and that's being generous. My husband and I ordered fried chicken- greasy and not crispy, mashed potatoes tasted odd, green beans were bland and the okra was soft not crunchy. The biscuit that came with lunch was fine. I'm not sure that all the people giving this place 5 stars ate at the same place we did. Food is one star quality, ambiance bumps it up.

Yelp
Happening place so be prepared for the wait. Good food so worth the wait. Went on a Monday morning but it was still busy. Good customer service. I got the co-op and pig suey casserole and it was amazing. Delicious and tasty. Try the huge cinnamon roll because it is tasty. Grits is amazing and delicious. Good food and service.

Yelp
Checked in online here, and had a very short wait. This place was packed, so they were hustling to get people food, clear tables, and seat newcomers. Beautiful setting with a rustic-looking barn, and nice decor inside and out. After getting coffee, I ordered an omelette that came with a roll and cinnamon apples. Also to our table were pigs in a blanket and a skillet meal, which was more than enough food for breakfast. As we were leaving, we noticed how packed the waiting areas was becoming. Earlier the better, you won't regret it.

Yelp
Great food and service I'll definitely go back ! The decor was cute farm house and generous food portions.

Yelp
The food and service was top notch, great atmosphere. The southern style cooking was perfect. I would recommend stopping in when in the area.

Yelp
Amazing food !!! Have been to Pigeon forge numerous times, yet just tried Five Oaks. We went last night and tonight for dinner. my daughter had the chicken and dumplings, which were probably the best i've ever had. I ordered the chicken salad. It was absolutely fantastic. Tonight our server was Andrew. Andrew was outstanding!!!! Service was impeccable. Give this restaurant a try. can't wait to try breakfast tomorrow morning.
google avatar

Yelp
Five Oaks was explained to me like a Cracker Barrel on steroids! It certainly is an appeal for everyone in a 15 mile radius! The building is enormous and full of fun things to look at, plus a second story! It was before 9AM on a Sunday and was slammed. Even worse when we left. My order was the Isaac's Favorite which is their version of an eggs Benedict. Instead of an English muffin, the served it on a flaky biscuit and I requested crispy bacon instead of ham. The hollandaise was similar to a cheese sauce and not a creamy lemon sauce. Not sure if it's a southern thing or they don't know how to make proper hollandaise. Wasn't bad, just was unusual for me. The service was good and friendly.

Yelp
Pot roast and Chicken pot pie. Great service, ambience, and many interesting menu choices. We like this place, and we like the menu and dining choices.
google avatar

Yelp
I want to preface this entire review with I will NEVER go back to pigeon forge and not eat here. I'd eat here every morning if my family would let me. Y'all. Get the freaking cinnamon roll! I ate the middle first. Its loaded with cinnamon and the bread melts around your teeth when you bite it. The grits were the perfect consistency and I regret offering my husband a bite because I never got them back. I got an egg plate but who cares because I also got a cinnamon roll and now it's all I ever need in life. Get the cinnamon roll.

Yelp
Came into Pigeon Forge over the Mothers Day weekend. This was my daughters choice and I have to say we were not disappointed! We were warmly greeted and our drink or taken promptly Sweet tea for me and A soft drink for my daughter. Our chicken dinner choices were cooked to perfection! We both love fried chicken, but for me the sides made the meal Greens and mashed potatoes the max and cheese my daughter had was delicious! But the potato soup at the beginning of the star of the show My daughter hasn't ever tried it before and she really liked it It does my heart good to see her experience new things We love 5 Oaks we'll be back!

Yelp
After spending the day hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains, we stopped at Five Oak Farm Kitchen for a late lunch. There was plenty of seating so we were immediately given a table. Our waitress was friendly and promptly took our drink orders as we reviewed the menu I ordered the Fried Bologna Sandwich and it was very good. For such a simple dish, it was quite flavorful. The Mac N Cheese was also very delicious! We also got the cinnamon roll. I had no idea it was this big! It is definitely big enough for 2 - 4 people to share. There was a lot of frosting, however, the inside was pretty dry so that was disappointing Overall, this was a great find! I loved the decor, the music, the food and the service. I would gladly return if I am in this part of Tennessee again!

Yelp
JOIN THE WAITLIST ON GOOGLE BEFORE YOU VENTURE HERE!! The wait really wasn't too long for us because we joined the waitlist when we left our cabin! And the little wait we did have was WELL worth it!! Breakfast was amazing here, our server was SO sweet!! Everything we had was absolutely delicious!!
google avatar

Yelp
OK, yall sit down for this one, it's gonna be lengthy. To start out with, the ambiance is very rustic and had the feel of grandma's log cabin in the woods. Friendly staff, very welcoming and helpful. They use benches as chairs so it gives it a very close, homely, family feel as well. As we were seated a random guy comes and throws down some bowls of what appeared to be soup. No "hello", no "hey would you like to try this", just slung it down and left. Not a great start but we stayed. The server came and got our drink orders and told us the bowls were complimentary vegetable soup so we tried it. There's a reason it's complimentary- no seasoning. Our server recommended our meals which is why we ordered them. My husband got the pot roast with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. I ordered the sugared ham with Mac n Cheese and fried green tomatoes. Food came out quickly and hot! The sugared ham was sweet and savory, Mac n cheese had a little kick to it, as well as the fried green tomatoes. It was very good and would definitely order again. The pot roast... we expect it to be fatty but about 60% of the piece my husband got was pure fat so disappointed by this. The 30% that was meat though, melted in your mouth! It was delicious. Only issue beyond that... not enough salt in the meat so a lot of salt was added to his meal. Would he order again? Yes. If salt is the only hangup, we can live with that. We will try again soon because, on the way out, we saw their cinnamon roll that is served all day and has to be eaten with a steak knife. It peaked our breakfast interest! Also, the fried chicken looked very good, and we are suckers for good fried chicken! If you are wanting a true southern experience of food and comfort, this is a great place to start! Enjoy!

Yelp
Big portions, server was friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful restaurant. Service was quick. I got the pulled pork which was great. The cinnamon roll was huge but I wasn't a fan of the icing, it's not cinnamon roll icing, it's more like a whipped cream I guess.
google avatar

Stephanie A.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place. The atmosphere was perfect, great setting and decor. However, the food was lukewarm almost cold when it came out. The food was quick, but not hot. The kids waffles were my favorite part of the meal. The biscuits and gravy would've been great if hot and fresh. The biscuits were good and huge. Wanted to love but was not impressed.
google avatar

Heather B.

Yelp
Omg! We stopped in after our 6 hour drive from NC. The staff were wonderful, the decor is gorgeous. Food was phenomenal! Plenty of parking with a fire pit right out front if you're waiting to get a table. We got the pot roast and the bbq plate. The free "appetizer" of veggie soup was a nice touch and so good! Pricy but yummy. Worth the trip. Store was closed when we finished eating but the tshirts looked very cute.

Yelp
Five Oaks Farm Kitchen in Sevierville, Tennessee, exceeded all expectations, delivering an authentic Southern dining experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and genuine smiles. The rustic ambiance, complete with wooden accents and charming decor, perfectly set the tone for our meal. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met, offering recommendations and ensuring prompt refills on sweet tea. Their passion for hospitality was truly evident, making our dining experience all the more memorable. And our waiter Charles was polite and very kind and attentive Five Oaks Farm Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone craving genuine Southern cuisine and hospitality. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this charming eatery is sure to leave you with a smile on your face and a satisfied stomach. We can't wait to return on our next trip to Sevierville.

Yelp
Food was good but the banana pudding is weird and not good at all avoid it service was great atmosphere was good

Yelp
This place doesn't care about its customers - to them we're all just here to pay inflated prices and get treated like crap. We got on their waitlist and, without even notifying us that our table was ready, they canceled our place in line. When we went in to complain, they mocked us. We weren't rude or mean, we simply asked why they'd cancelled our place in line on the waitlist. Her response, "you weren't paying attention and we don't have time to waste on no shows." We weren't no shows, we were sitting outside on the bench. They never called our name, never sent a text message, just a cancellation notice. Truthfully, I don't care if their food is good or not, I'm not going to waste my money on a rude and classless joint like this!
google avatar

Kayden D.

Yelp
I liked nearly everything about this restaurant, it's welcoming and warm which makes me want to eat even more. I got the chicken salad salad, which was amazing! Our waiter was pretty good and value of food was okay. I would for sure come back.

Bill H.

Yelp
We turned in on a whim and this is the best food we have eaten in the area. great atmosphere Great food and great service from our waiter Andrew . We had open face pot roast that was A+, and cornbread salad that was absolutely delicious.
google avatar

Kelli S.

Yelp
Second time to this amazing restaurant for breakfast! Google told us to join the waitlist so we did on the way, and almost no wait. Service was excellent and the food was amazing! We skipped the cinnamon roll bc while it's good, we remembered the griddle cakes being amazing and we remembered correctly! They literally melt in your mouth, 10/10. We also had the Dr. John's Omelet, the Pig Sooey casserole and the kids waffle, all were excellent!
google avatar

Jessica B.

Yelp
Delicious. High recommendation from friends. The cinnamon roll was amazing. You have to get it to share. It's huge. Omelet was adequate. My husband liked the biscuits and gravy. Daughter ordered a kids pancake with strawberries and whip cream. This was hands down the best pancake. Cornmeal southern style. I was VERY impressed. If you like corn bread and pancakes, this would be their love child. 100% will plan to get it next time.
google avatar

Devin L.

Yelp
This is the BEST place to eat in my opinion! Worth the wait, and everything on their menu is AMAZING! Staff welcomes you soon as you walk in. This is a staple for our trips to GB!
google avatar

K G.

Yelp
Our server was great. She really was attentive to our needs. The food was great home cooking. The cinnamon rolls frosting is different. It's not like normal frosting. More whipped which threw me off.
google avatar

Dawn F.

Yelp
We haven't had a bad meal here ever! If you're a fan of Crockett's, you will love Five Oaks even more. They can get reallllllly busy at peak times, so I highly suggest using the online waitlist option. Even as busy as they are, service never suffers. Be prepared to get more food than you can eat, portions are very generous. Most of the seating is wooden bench and rustic. They even have an upstairs seating area. We will continue to visit every time we are in the area.
google avatar

Laura L.

Yelp
We went here for lunch in February, which is kind of the "off season". It was pretty quiet and we were seated immediately. The interior and exterior is nice, in fitting with the area with a rustic farmhouse/southern country vibe. The tables are a picnic table/bench style. This is fine, but can be a bit awkward for some people, especially the un-coordinated (I.e. me). The service was great, our waitress was very attentive and did a great job. The food was good southern cooking, but nothing really stood out. That said, if I ate at this restaurant somewhere else, it might be ranked a bit higher. There is just some really excellent food in this area, so they have some stiff competition. Bottom line: we agreed there are excellent places around here we would rather go, but for a decent lunch, and a positive experience, we may eat here again. Tip: the bathrooms were cute, and very clean.
google avatar

J J S.

Yelp
Great food! The service was also quick and friendly. Every staff member we met treated us with a smile. The restaurant was clean and the decor was inviting. We will visit again and again.

Ashley R.

Yelp
Service was great even packed on a Sunday and food was just as good. I'd absolutely go back here!
google avatar

Greg H.

Yelp
Got here and they said it would be a 20 minute wait. 1-2 minutes later are name was called and started good. Started with a cinnamon roll. The size, taste and novelty was yum. The center is infused with extra cream so when you cut it open all of the goodness seeps out. The biscuit was off the charts with Dr Johns breakfast. This is a place I would certainly come back for. To make things even better our food was served lightning fast. Our waiter Rob was spectacular and attentive. Definitely a great place for breakfast.
google avatar

Heather C.

Yelp
We come here everyone we come to Tennessee. We love the atmosphere, good, and service. I got the ham and cheese omelet and hashbrowns. I also ordered a side of gravy for my biscuit. The gravy and biscuit were my favorite!!!
google avatar

Roberto Y.

Yelp
Amazing premises. The barn feel is really good. The restaurant has a very nice decor. Service was great. The breakfast was tasty and good portions. There is something for everyone. We did not have a reservation so we waited about 25 minutes which is not bad. Per other reviews it seems the wait can be about 45 minutes. This is a heat place to eat a good breakfast.
google avatar

Kirk B.

Yelp
This place has plenty of seating and it needs it based on how busy it gets. Waiter was informative and helped with menu choices since it was our first time at the restaurant. Food tasted great and despite getting a large amount of portions I didn't feel bloated or regret clearing my plate. For those that enjoy adult beverages, there are none here. And that includes beer and wine. If you, like us, are starved after a day at the theme park you will not go wrong here.
google avatar

Keri V.

Yelp
The restaurant itself is very nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and our waiter was great. With that said I was very disappointed in my food, I got an omelette and the bacon was bacon bites like the ones you'd buy at the store for salads I wish it would of been fresh bacon and it was just dry and didn't have flavor. I know the others in my party were also disappointed in there meals. The one thing I would go back for is the cinnamon roll that was good!
google avatar

TJ N.

Yelp
The male host at the front desk greeted us with an unpleasant grunt - not a good first impression. He also walked off asking us to 'follow him' and we were with a disabled older lady and we had to locate him as he was half a room away from us. The restaurant is spacious (two floors) and nicely decorated, airy, light, with those big wood benches, comfy. But the coffee (Community) is 100% lousy, no matter how you sweeten or cream it - very bad cup of joe folks! Bad coffee. The buckwheat pancakes were thin, and tasty - but they were somehow weirdly cross-contaminated with bits of chocolate chips - fortunately for me it did not deter, but someone who was diabetic it could have been bad. I got fresh strawberries on top of three pancakes which consisted of two strawberries. They only offer that truly terrible corn syrup type maple-adjacent syrup - I asked if they had real maple syrup and the nice waitress said just what was on the table. I thought this was a mid-scale breakfast joint, I was wrong. Likely I would not return.

Yelp
Five Oaks is a great respite after spending time shopping across the street at the Outlets. Great southern fare! I loved that they gave you a welcome soup. A would have been happy with a bowl of the vegetable soup. The family split a few items. I ordered the meatloaf and it was great. It's not something that I order often, but when in the south... Chicken and Dumplings was also ordered as well as an order of beans. Service was friendly and efficient. She was able to give great recommendations that were wonderful. The restaurant looks like it is set in a farmhouse. You walk in to a room with high ceilings, two floors, and plenty of room. They stay hopping' but it moves quickly.
google avatar

Courtney F.

Yelp
Those cinnamon rolls are fantastic! I had a breakfast casserole which was a nice filling meal that was not too heavy. Beautiful building and great atmosphere. Kids friendly and large group friendly. Our waitress Summer was great and other servers were friendly.
google avatar

Judy B.

Yelp
Food was as expected, a bit pricey but you definitely do not walk away hungry. Our waitress was so sweet and funny, this made our entire experience memorable.

Yelp
My family was back in town and I really wanted the cornbread salad again, so we stopped in once more. We had my Mother with us this time and while she enjoyed her food, she did not like the bench seating at the tables. She is 75 years old and said it caused her back to hurt. Our server was Francisco and he was absolutely excellent. Very attentive and polite. My mom ordered the fried catfish. She said it was very good. My brother ordered the chicken salad salad. It is a mound of chicken salad on top of their co-op salad. He enjoyed it as well. I, of course, got the cornbread salad again. It was excellent as always. I plan on coming back every time we are in the area. So far, we've gotten very good service and the food has been great. I'm marking the review down 1 star, only because of the benches. I hadn't thought about how uncomfortable it might be for the elderly or those with back issues.

Chris J.

Yelp
Good country cooking and large portions. Service is usually decent. Place can get very busy since it's on the main drag in Pigeon Forge. Not cheap though!
google avatar

Mike G.

Yelp
They are known for their GIGANTIC cinnamon roll!! It was good. Yes, it was dessert first. Onto the main course. Fried chicken was really good. The pot pie was good suize and the catfish was darn tasty. The service was good and it was family friendly atmosphere
google avatar

Cliff J.

Yelp
5 stars all the way! Excellent service, excellent food and a casual atmosphere. Every once in a while you taste something that takes you back down memory lane...this was one of those places. Their fried green tomatoes and soup beans was almost as if they stole my grandmothers recipe, simple but fantastic! Our waiter Charles was top notch which really made the experience that much better. A place can have the best food in the world but when they lack on staff, it will leave a bitter taste in your mouth. Five Oaks nails it and I bet you will agree!
google avatar

Amy H.

Yelp
My go to place when in the area! Every meal we eat had here is amazing!! Cinnamon rolls as big as your head!!
google avatar

Yelp
Omelet tasted funny, biscuit was raw. Service was ok, place was busy. Wife's hash browns were very crispy just like she likes

Yelp
I've visited this place for breakfast on two occasions. Once back in 2019 and again just last week (Oct 2023). Back in 2019, I left absolutely raving about this place. Food was superb and was one of the best meals we had on our trip. Fast forward to 2023 and I'm so disappointed to say it just wasn't the same as I had hoped. For breakfast, I ordered 2 eggs over easy, biscuit, turkey sausage, and fresh fruit. My husband ordered the Campbell Maples breakfast (complete with chicken fried steak). Our food came out rather quickly which was nice. My biscuit was slightly overcooked and crumbly. Still tasted ok, but that all it was. Just ok. My fresh fruit was melon and cantaloupe with one piece of citrus that looked like a lemon but tasted like an orange. My husband noted his chicken fried steak was almost all breading. Most disappointing was the sausage gravy. Back in 2019, I remember the sausage gravy being absolutely delicious. This time it was clear the recipe changed and it had a strong smoky taste. I wasn't a huge fan. Service was great as we remember. The whole restaurant is wonderfully decorated and very charming. Word of advice if you're coming for breakfast, get there BEFORE 8:15am for little to no wait!
