Had a good-not-great experience here recently, and that's okay! Met a colleague here to catch up, and had a few not-so-great touchpoints along the way.
I asked for a chai, extra hot - I've been doing this for ages, and had thought nothing of it before - I like it piping hot! The cashier made an unpleasant comment to me about it, and joked about it with the barista in front of me as well. I could be in the wrong here requesting a beverage detail like this, but it left a sour taste in my mouth.
The music was pretty loud in here that day, and the cashier was talking loudly with other staff throughout our stay. It made it a bit hard to concentrate on remote work - the purpose of my visit.
They do not offer any gluten-free options for pastries or food, which was a huge bummer to me as well.
I've visited this location before, but will probably go somewhere else next time. It's so great to read that others have had awesome experiences here, but unfortunately my recent visit was such that I will pass in the future.
