Veronica was our excellent server. Make sure to ask for her. We have the filet and lobster crab pot pie. Both were outstanding. Don't skip the Grits or brocollini. Topped it off with the chocolate truffle cake with cinnamon ice cream Also gave us a today since it was our anniversary (39!) Can't wait to come back

This place is NOT cheap but it has some fantastic food and decent service. I'll go back to try some of the menu items I passed on but I HAD to try the Bukowski Biscuit and it was DELICIOUS! The grits were amazing and I loved the deviled eggs! Our waitress went on a break or something and I wound up saying no when she brought the coffee pot when I wanted the check. But if you are a poet, you MUST go eat here!

Food was incredibly bland or tasted dry/strange. Service was very slow. My husbands Benedict came with hard boiled eggs which was strange. My kids didn’t even like their dishes. The only thing that was great hands down was the biscuits. Restaurant is cute but they need to add some seasonings or bare minimum salt!

I absolutely loved my strawberry salad with chicken 🥗 😋.... it was absolutely phenomenal I can not wait to get back to fixe... thank you all for the fantastic service also!! A beautiful place all around!!! My salad was a definite 10 out of 10!!!

Went to Fixe Southern House in Fort Worth with my coworkers and really enjoyed it! I ordered the halibut for my main dish — it was delicious, perfectly cooked, and nicely seasoned. The sauce complemented the fish and vegetables really well. We also ordered the biscuits, which were amazing! I had mine with honey and butter, and it was the perfect way to start the meal. Definitely a great spot for good food and a nice dining experience.

The deviled eggs are interesting.. and tasty! Not usually the BIGGEST fan of mustard but the way they whip it here.. is different.. and it’s good! Topped with a bit of salmon row .. worth trying out French toast was NOT too sweet! Tasty, light.. decadent The grits were better than expected. The Herbivore entree hit the spot Shout out to our server Nick who went above and beyond to look after us

I highly enjoyed this food. The meal was hot and this is a great spot for brunch. I tried their biscuits with the jam it was honestly one of my favorite things that I ordered. I enjoyed my French toast as well. My only complaint is I wish my potatoes were a lot more crispy.

Very good food, clean restaurant, and attentive / kind staff. We did some shopping in the area, and stopped here for a quick bite and for happy hour (3-6 fyi). This was an excellent decision to stop. Everything is made from scratch, cocktails were excellent, and plenty of tv options if you want to view a game too. Our server Adam did an exceptional job waiting on my wife and I. We will certainly be back when we come back tot he Fort Worth Area!

We took a large group to celebrate a birthday tonight and Oscar made us feel like the only table in the place. He paid so much attention, made recommendations, and made sure everything was PERFECT. 11/10, we will be back! PS the biscuits changed my life.

The ambiance was soothing and upscale. The shrimp and grits were good with a side order of bacon. Now, the bacon topped off my brunch craving. The shrimp needed its own cajun gravy since it is a southern cuisine and mostly credited to the bayou area. Just grilled shrimp didn't really give off the ',viola' affect. The server, I think Trent, was excellent. I hate I didn't remember his name. He was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. I just know he drove from Bedford (shame on me for not remembering his name). Anyway, he was great! All of the servers seemed to love what they were doing. They each cruised with a smile on their face. I will probably try dinner next time.

It was just "okay". We ate there tonight and while the menu sounds fantastic, the execution at least for mine and my Wife's meals was just a little lack luster. My redfish was okay, the Carolina Gold rice was pretty good except when you got an unsuspecting overcooked black eyed pea in the mix that was quite chalky. Portion size was okay if the dish was fantastic, but it wasn't so honestly, as it was it was probably a $23-25 entree, but not $30+. My Wife's vegetarian plate (she isn't vegetarian but LOVES her starches) was hit and miss. The Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes were a hit, but the faro seemed to just be on the plate taking up space. We did get biscuits for the table and they did not disappoint. They were VERY good and probably the star of the evening for me. Service was again, just okay. Our server seemed to forget about us between us ordering drinks and biscuits and then never really coming back to get our order until flagged down. Then when the meals came out, one of our party got the incorrect thing delivered, and it had to go back, and another just didn't get their plate for 4-5 minutes until after everyone else. Again, if this was something like a Chili's or whatnot, those kind of things are expected to a certain degree. But they shouldn't be happening when entrees are $35-45 each and it is a slow Wednesday night. Was it good, yes. Was it worth the money for the food and service we received, not really.

I had initially tried the Fixe biscuits while on a shakeout run in Austin. Despite the biscuits being cold at that time, I knew I had to try this place in person. The biscuits at the restaurant are made to order so that they're fresh and warm for serving. The steam was still coming out when I cut the biscuit in half!! They offered honey, apple butter, and butter which perfectly complemented the biscuit. The food was delicious as well. I am pretty sad I discovered this restaurant pretty late. Would highly recommend :)

Really enjoyed my honey chicken with kale salad. Sides of grits & sweet potatoes were well cooked. Biscuits with butter and honey are mouthwateringly perfect. Bananas Foster crème brûlée was tasty. Not a huge pecan pie fan as it lacks a bit of flavor depth especially for a southern based restaurant. Overall, was a delicious experience. Service was accurate and courteous. Ambience was romantic.

Nice spot! Yummy food. I recently had their deviled eggs, pimento and cheese and their duck fat potatoes. Their biscuits are a staple.

Great food - can't wait to go back - great service, and nice seating. We started with biscuits. They come with homemade jelly, butter, and locally sourced honey. I got the brisket eggs benedict. My friend got the fried catfish. The catfish was super crispy and the fries are cooked in duck fat. Everything is home made, except the ketchup. I highly recommend checking them out.

We went with a large group in a reserved room. Service was prompt, pleasant & professional. Deviled eggs - always almost too pretty to eat and delicious. A bite of the fermented pairs so well with the egg! The biscuits served with butter, honey, & jam are always a highlight of the meal for everyone. This week, they weren't as warm and fluffy as they normally are. But that was okay because the focaccia served with pimento cheese was the true star of the appetizers! Holy moly that was some good bread! Pimento cheese was also good with a tad of spice if you're sensitive to spice. I also had the little gem salad which was a welcomed light and fresh dish. It came beautifully plated with three pieces of baby gem lettuce with a few pork cracklins, croutons, and cheddar vinaigrette. For the meal I got the heritage pork chop served over fingerling potatoes with onions and peppers with bacon jam and old fashioned sauce. It was so delicious!! I had to being most of it home for lunch the next day because I was full from the appetizers and salad. This is a great place for a private party, date night or celebratory meal.

Great vibes, great food, great drinks. Very knowledgeable waiter. Overall I would call this a mix of southern and east coast food, a collab we need more of. Planning to come here again

After a small stroll and a skip and a hop from Doc b we headed over to the Fixe Southern house restaurant. Loved the ambience and food was great not to mention the service , our waiter was A-plus all the way . I will def be returning .

Nice restaurant with a good atmosphere! The drinks were good and excellent service! As far as the food is concerned, the biscuits were so good! The catfish was seasoned and fried to perfection. This was a great choice for a lunch item. I ordered the pork chop and it came out way too salty so the waiter offered to have it remade, unfortunately the second order was also overly salty so I ended up just ordering their chopped salad which was very good! I will definitely be back to try other menu items!

Amazing, such a great place to wind down in a soft cozy ambiance. The food was also great! Highly recommend the double cut heritage pork chop. It was between that or the steak for me and this really hit the spot. Will definitely be back soon!

I am blown away! Not only did we have the most delicious meal, Oscar went above and beyond to make sure I felt special on my birthday. He was so attentive and took care of our 9 person party so flawlessly. Every part of our dinner was perfect! The entire team signed a card for my birthday and it brought me to tears. Absolutely obsessed with Fixe and their staff! Thanks again, Oscar! You're amazing!

It's long past time that I wrote an update to my previous Fixe review. Why? Because I love this place! This review is specifically about Happy Hour in the bar. I must mention the bartenders first; they are always friendly, offer great service, and pour great drinks. (If you aren't sure what to try, go with the Honey Badger.) I come for Happy Hour with a friend every two or three months, and we stay until closing because the ambiance is so welcoming. If you want to eat, order from the Happy Hour food menu before 6 pm. Yes, it would be nice if Happy Hour lasted a little longer for those of us who come from work, but the food options make it all worthwhile. My friend and I always split the Fish Fry, which consists of a few pieces of fried fish, hush puppies, and yummy skinny fries, and then we each order a Little Gem salad off the dinner menu. Sometimes we'll split the crispy Brussels sprouts, because, yum. If you are feeling like wreaking havoc on your diet, order Fixe's signature biscuits, which come with organic honey.

Fixe is INCREDIBLE! I came here for my birthday dinner with a group of girls, and our experience from the moment we walked in was incredible. The lighting is dark and moody which makes the restaurant feel upscale, but still cozy and intimate. The service was impeccable and our server really took her time to explain the menu to us in detail. The biscuits are absolutely to die for. The pork was by far my favorite dish. I wish I had space to try more dishes! I can't wait to come back next time I'm in Austin

Friend & I stopped in for brunch & both got the french toast. YUM!!! All the staff are friendly & helpful. I do not know how describe the decor but comfy. Will be back again.

So I've been here a few times now for lunch. The standout of each visit was the BISCUITS! Absolutely delish. They're made fresh to order and come hot with a housemade jam. They also do a wonderful coffee or ice tea presentation.

I absolutely LOVED the vibes of this restaurant. So elegant and classy and totally my vibe. The service was also amazing and everyone was really polite and respectful. We did put in a reservation so we were able to be seated right when we got there. The entree I got was only okay. I had the Brioche French Toast which was a little too sugary for me and I was not a fan of the walnuts. However, the Fixe biscuits are a MUST try. I don't think I have ever had biscuits like that and I probably could have ordered it as my appetizer and entree!

Came here on a Saturday night with my husband. The restaurant has a nice dark intimate feel to it. Our waitress Ashley was attentive and nice, took care of us. I ordered a tequila drink and my husband had a bourbon drink from the cocktail menu but I can't remember the names. To start we ordered the Bacon & Crab dip, the dip was delicious but it would had been more enjoyable if it was served with slices of bread. I had the Halibut, it was delicious! My husband ordered the Bone-in Prime Ribeye Steak, he ate the whole thing! BUT the menu is a bit confusing since under the steak it says "Cornbread & Gouda Fondue" but the steak came by itself with no sides. My husband is the type of person that won't complain or ask about things unless they make a big mistake, so we never found out if it was a mistake or not. For sides we decided on the sautéed broccolini and BBQ beans, both very tasty. We'll be coming back to this restaurant to have some of their famous biscuits!

Food and environment were lovely. A clean well-lighted place. Recommend. The fried chicken of my wife's was great. The red fish however, was superb.

I personally love the clear fork location. Everything is so beautiful about clear fork during Christmas. The lady who greeted us at the door was very warming and sweet. The guy at the bar had no personality what so ever. He was very straight to "what do you want" and that was it. No smile very little interaction. I was thinking maybe he was having a bad day. We moved to the dining area and Ruby was very informative and nice. She ran through the menu told us her recommendations and fav items. My friend and I had the lobster pot pie which she said was delish and I had the hablet fish with crab. Also amazing. The hush puppies were great as well. Will return.

Really enjoyed this place. Started out with the biscuits and two Honey Badgers, which did not disappoint. My wife ordered the fried chicken and I had the double cut pork chop. We were both very happy with our choices. The pork chop was a big reason for my choosing this restaurant and it too did not disappoint. Very good flavor, not dry at all. I would definitely recommend it. The service here was just as good as the food. Our server Toshi was outstanding. Very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great suggestions. My wife and I came here for a particularly special occasion and Toshi made it a great experience for the both of us. The atmosphere was pleasant as well. You don't have to wear a suit and tie, but it's a place I think people should want to look decent in. Overall, we enjoyed this place, and I am definitely looking forward to coming back to try the lunch/brunch menu.

Today was my first visit to Fixe, I came on a referral from a friend of mine. We got the catfish and the beet salad. The catfish was so light and prefectly fried, it was some of the best catfish I've had in a long time. I added shrimp to the beet salad, and they were so huge and perfectly cooked. The bartenders are very friendly and this place had a cool vibe. And as added bonus, they do Happy Hour every night if the week! I can't believe it took me so long to try this place!

Another fantastic experience thanks to the great team here. And the food! Even the kale has been prepared to perfection. We went all out for our anniversary here and regret nothing. Any kind of special event will be spent here at Fixe for the foreseeable future.

Food was fine but nothing special for the steep price. The drinks were good. The server asked a personal question that made my friend feel uncomfortable. Atmosphere was nice.

There were four of us, so we ordered lots of appetizers and yummy meals. Oscar was an excellent waiter with excellent recommendations. The pork chops were awesome, steak was awesome and last time the lobster pot pie was good this time it wasn't so good. The biscuits and deviled eggs are a must have !

We recently had a private corporate dinner at Fixe. Fantastic food and service. Definitely a must if you're in town.

Ok so boom! I showed up for Happy hour(3-6) so the menu was limited. Pescatarian lifestyle so i ordered the catfish with hushedpuppies and salt salt fries (it's supposed to be salt and pepper fries but the pepper was nonexistent. They boasted about some biscuits and jam and honey with some butter as well (pictured) which were pretty good. The catfish came out as something like a sampler with salty fries and steamy hot hushedpuppies - i like spelling it like that for whatever reason so just roll with it. Honey badger to drink which was whiskey, honeycomb and lemon was tasty and hit the spot. Music was excellent - and excellent decor. Service was good as well. I shall return but will pass on the salt salt fries - false advertisement. Deuces.

26 minutes to receive fixe biscuit appetizer, waitress did apologize. Mimosas were good. Ordered fried chicken sandwich asked for kale on the side. Sever acknowledged the request. The kale came in the sandwich. The biggest issue was the chicken was room temp. No heat whatsoever. Fries were great and actually hot. The Fixe biscuits appetizer was the best part of the meal. A few friends recommended the place to us and I would say not only is it overhyped, it drastically fell short of even the most basic necessities of a decent meal. In my opinion would not recommend. Should have went with Mexican food on cinco de mayo.

Amazing brunch in Fort Worth! If you haven't visited yet put this on your list. Thiir deviled eggs are topped with smoke salmon egg and are delicious paired with their in-house made hot sauce (so so good)!! My boo treated me to a suprise birthday brunch date there and it was wonderful. I recommend following up with the grits with an addition of grilled shrimp and their sweet potatoe side ( both were delighful). The cocktails are great as well!

One word: BISCUITS. Okay, so I will share that you can order a single biscuit (if you've never had one, just try them!) Happy Hour selections are decent- I usually go for and am satisfied with a burger. I've had the fish fry (wasn't bad, just too fishy tasting for me), they also have a pulled pork sandwich option that isn't a favorite of mine but I see quite a few people around the bar order it often. Grab a seat at the bar if you're into craft cocktails, they have great bartenders willing to whip up anything you ask for! Very laid back, TV in bar area, etc. great space to catch up with friends or even grab a seat alone!

Have been coming to Fixe for some time, but first time to review. In short, they always deliver on taste and quality. Stopped in while in the area for brunch. Had the fried chicken sandwich, fish fry and biscuit cinnamon roll. All were good, although my wife mentioned that her fries and hush puppies were lacking some flavor, but the cinnamon roll stole the show! This is the only way cinnamon roles should be served, lol! I also tried the boozy coffee cocktail, which was good, but could've been better with another whiskey other than jack!

I've been here quite a few times and the food is always good. The atmosphere serves well for date night or enjoy patio seating for girls night out. I've never had a bad item from the menu so you can't go wrong. The southern style biscuits to the red fish to the beet salad and more....all yummy! Come as you are and don't stress about attire, it's pretty casual.

Came to Fixe last Saturday for my partner's birthday before going to Pinstripes across the street. The inside is really nice and upscale. We were surprised at 5 PM that it was not packed at all! Quite empty in fact. Anyway, we were not that hungry, so we got some drinks and appetizers. The drinks were extremely strong, quite possibly the strongest old fashion (Honey Badger) I've ever had! I ordered the Prince, which I thought would be somewhat sweeter because it had rosé in it, but looks are deceiving! The spicy pineapple margarita was definitely the best tasting drink! The hush puppies and biscuits were really good. We did agree the hush puppies could be sweeter though. The service was fine, and our waiter was attentive. Overall, it's a nice place to check out in Fort Worth! Not sure if we would come back because we live in Dallas, but we'll see!

Firstly, the restaurant has a lovely intimate ambiance! They are known for their made from scratch biscuits that has butter and lard, so be aware if you don't eat pork products. Our waitress kindly let us know before we ordered. We ordered a shared plate of biscuits (3) and just know that it only comes with three with a size of jam, churned butter, and honey. I don't typically order biscuits at restaurants, only from fried chicken places or I bake them at home, so I didn't really have any expectations. But I will say after devouring one ... it's worth it, get the biscuits! They're buttery and slightly crunchy on the outside and warm, fluffy on the inside. We also got a side of bacon (5 slices), gravy (because we thought there were going to be more biscuits), a cinnamon roll, and an entree of brisket Benedicts. Everything was delicious! The cinnamon roll was crunchy on the outside and warm on the inside with just the right amount of icing. The Benedicts came out delicious. The eggs were perfection with a runny, deep canary yellow center. Needless to say, we weren't able to finish everything. Overall, we'd come back again and would definitely try out their dinner.

Tonight we had Easter Eve dinner at Fixe and boy was it a treat. The ambience in the restaurant was great. Our waiter was INCREDIBLE!! Truly some of the best service I have received in a long time. Trevor was attentive, gave great service, and great recommendations. He was a joy and we invited him to have grilled cheese tomorrow with us. Now the food was impeccable. The biscuits were phenomenal, melt in your mouth. The crab dip is one of my favorite dips I have ever tried. For the main I got salmon and it was delightful. Overall, it was a great meal with great service. Will definitely be returning.

Yummy time at Fixe Southern! Trevor made it a fun occasion for our table of three. Great food, some spicy(!), but do try the bacon and crab dip! Seriously: great service and fun, tasty food. Ask for Trevor.

This restaurant is the go to place for happy hour! The food, drinks and service are outstanding.

Few things in life are perfect but Jesus and Fixe Southern House biscuits are perfect. Every bite of biscuit is flaky goodness that melts in your mouth. I don't know how they do it but The Fixe biscuits edge out Grandma's biscuits (I hope she forgives me).

Before I say anything negative, let me start by saying my first visit here was exceptional. My wife and I visited on Valentine's Day - the food was great, service was on point, and the ambiance was perfect for our little romantic dinner. Props that day to the team, they were on point. HOWEVER, this last visit had me questioning the quality of the cook. Of the three steaks we ordered, none of them were a medium, as requested. In fact, the filet mignons first time around were in the rare to blue. Wow! I mean it was dark read for about an inch or more, some sear. They cooked it again the second time to a point where it was medium rare to rare. Adding to the slap is that all the sides had become cold while we were waiting. AND, the steaks were not well-seasoned. I'm very sorry to post this because I told others to check the place out and I really wanted to make this my new spot. On the positive side - I love their service members (hostesses, servers, and bartenders). BUT, Honestly, for a $300+ bill, I expect much more than good biscuits. I'm sorry.

Went there for the happy hour but got there with a big group of adults and they wouldn't seat us in the bar so we didn't get to try the happy hour. Was mostly disappointed because the happy hour menu looked so much better to us. They should advertise that happy hour is only served in the bar and they do not serve this food outside of the bar. Pretty displeased. Didn't love their main menu.

Review: Fixe Southern House is located in "The Shops At Clearfork", Fort Worth TX. This is small, charming and cozy restaurant, that's decorated very elegant. Customer service was great from beginning to end. The brunch menu is limited with something for everyone. All food is prepared when ordered. I enjoyed the chicken fried ribeye, braised collard greens w/black pepper. My food was served smoking hot, fresh, and well seasoned. Again, all dishes are prepared when ordered so, there will be a little wait for it but, it's worth it. I really enjoyed my experience and I definitely plan to return to try out the dinner menu. On of scale of 1 to 5, this joint gets FOUR!

A favorite restaurant when visiting Fort Worth. Excellent food and service. The shrimp and grits are wonderful. The biscuits are a must! Highly recommend.

The food and mimosas are divine. The Pimento Cheese to start was fresh and flavorful, and the green tomatoes provided the right touch of acid and balance. The Lobster and Crawfish Pot Pie had the flakiest crust and a hint of spice along with the mushroom bechamel. The mimosas were strong on the champagne, like I like them. The atmosphere was relaxed and elevated all at once. The only downside is that I did not get to sit on the patio or try the enormous Cinnamon roll that I saw sitting at another table. I will just have to go back for more.
