"Fl.2 is the spot to impress someone, whether that’s a client or the person you want to be able to introduce as your boy/girlfriend instead of trailing off after “This is Sam, my…” We may say, “Oh, this old thing?” but inside we’re secretly super impressed that Pittsburgh managed to snag a restaurant like this. You drink might come surrounded by smoke and the upscale-American food includes twists on classics like beef carpaccio with lobster and kewpie mayo and tuna tartare with cured egg yolk." - Madeline Quigley

"Chef Julio Peraza has landed in Downtown Pittsburgh, following stints in Florida and in Dallas at Madrina (now closed), which in 2015 was named best new restaurant by D Magazine. The publication called his opening menu “a revelation.” The restaurant is a revamp of what had been called Habitat, and the overhaul, engineered by a designer from Barcelona, is eclectic and cool. Pronounced “floor two,” it’s turning out bar food like a short-rib burger, addictive shoestring fries, and duck wings. But the large-format plates on the main menu are the gets, like kuri squash with ham, almonds, roasted chicken, or whole trout." - Melissa McCart

Money can’t buy class (or taste). Classic Pittsburgh restaurant for those who desperately want to appear hip and spend money on a sad menu. I don’t know about you but I love spending $37 on plant based fettuccine and a marinara I could have bought at Trader Joe’s. The menu said it came with vegetarian meatballs and tofu, however I wasn't informed that I wouldn't get either, but I did get up charged $9 for a few oyster mushrooms *chefs kiss* Kudos to the waiter on that one. And thank you for the $26 glass of wine. Even thought the menu says $18, thank you for pulling the wool over our eyes on your $26 pour without telling us you cheeky thing. And why set the table with bread plates if you are going to give every table around us bread but not us? This was literally one of the worst dining experiences ever and the more I think about the more upset I become. As I said, if you want to try to be someone you’re not and fake it for the gram by all means waste your money here. But if you are an authentic human with taste, take your money elsewhere and actually enjoy your dining experience. ✌🏻

We made a last minute reservation for 6 to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The atmosphere was very relaxed and everything ordered was impressive. We started with the mussel, they were excellent. The rack of lamb is impeccable, and the crab cake sandwich was also very good. I will definitely come back. The band was a welcomed plus. Overall a great experience.

We went to fl.2 for breakfast and it was great. The atmosphere is very nice and modern, and the light from the windows, and view intro be kitchen is nice. I got the avocado toast, and my family ordered the American breakfast and the steel cut oats.

We had a reserved table for 10 (a happy hour last night @5:00) No one there to greet us. We literally had to find someone to seat us. No one came over for any kind of drink orders or otherwise. Someone had to get up from our table and speak to the bartender about drinks/food/etc. The restaurant was not busy at all and the bar wasn't even full. They gave us the impression that we were bothering them. Nice place, nice atmosphere - not so nice service.

Google
We had a great meal before the symphony. It was super convenient and the food was excellent. Our server, Jared, was incredibly well informed regarding the contents of the dishes which was important for my wife who is has very allergic to gluten. This will be a regular spot for dinner when we are visiting downtown.

Google
Twelve of us had dinner last night for an impromptu wedding reception. Seems that everyone was happy with the food but the service was horrible. This review is geared towards the management as I’m relatively sure the wait staff wasn’t trained properly from the beginning. Here are a just few examples: When people are eating don’t remove their plates until ALL at the table are completely done. Our waiter removed the brides plates while there was food on it and she was still chewing. Several others were still eating too. You clear plates from the left and serve from the right. Do not present or ask if we want desert menus when people are still eating the main course and the table isn’t cleared yet. Do not ask who has what meal or dessert at the table this is your job to know where food is placed. Again, management please train your servers of proper high end restaurant etiquette I’m sure it will serve them well monetarily. We will definitely be back.

Google
The interior, atmosphere and service are great, the food not so much. We ordered burger, Alaskan halibut, Atlantic salmon and caponata. And out of 4 options only burger was really delicious, the fish and caponata were pretty plain and savorless. But in general it is definitely a nice place to dine out.

Phillip Strano

Google
Our dining experience was delightful, with a delicious meal and excellent service. The Alaskan Halibut, bursting with fantastic flavors, proved to be a standout choice. The Bavette was equally impressive, with a delightful combination of cheese and sauces. While everything was top-notch, I did find it a bit peculiar to see Atlantic Salmon on the menu in this upscale establishment, given its typically farm-raised nature and potential uncertainties about its feed.

Yelp
Came here with a group for a pre dinner drink on a Saturday night. We were easily able to find seating for our group of 7 along the booths/tables on the wall. The bartender was prompt, considering his full bar of patrons. He was quick to take our orders and bring out our drinks. He didn't bat an eye when we requested individual checks at the end. The place is definitely on the higher end both in price and decor. I ordered the nacional royale and it was $17. With tax and tip, I was paying close to $22-23 for a beverage that had a good amount of ice. My friend paid for two glasses of wine and was out around $50. I think if you're looking for that comfortable, relaxed, but intimate and fancy environment, this is the place for you.

Yelp
Can't speak on the food because I didn't eat here- but had 2-3 great cocktails here! Stopped here after dinner with a friend after she raved about the espresso martinis. They were fab! The ambience is beautiful. It's a lovely hotel, and one of the nicest "hotel bars" I've ever been to! Doesn't even feel like a hotel bar The bartenders were really kind and knowledgeable about the drinks, and had recommendations for us. I can't remember what the other cocktail I had was, but it was so refreshing and light- the perfect summer bev

Yelp
excellent food, excellent service. a gorgeous restaurant and bar with an even more beautiful view into the kitchen. the food is always amazing and worth going back for every change of the menu

Cheryl W.

Yelp
I came here for happy hour drinks. The bartenders are attentive and I highly recommend the espresso martini. The bar is nice on the 2nd floor and doesn't feel like a hotel bar. I had a nice night chatting with the other clientele at the bar. I would definitely come back.

Jameson M.

Yelp
I love all the floors their food is to die for like the pancakes the service is amazing amazingly good

Raquel Lynn H.

Yelp
Always a perfect rating for Fl2, had amazing espresso martinis including a new rum offering

Rachel W.

Yelp
Amazing food and service. I also loved the vibe of the room with the high ceilings, big windows, and really stunning bar area. I'd definitely go here again. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. Some of the menu items seemed a bit pricey for the portion size, but it tasted so good so that's expected!

Luana C.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant and amazing food. Service subpar. It was hard to get waiters attention. Every time he came by we felt like we had to order quickly or else we wouldn't see him for another 10 minutes. Overall, good experience. We came to celebrate our anniversary and were given a complementary champagne toast. We sat on the side where we can see the kitchen which was pretty cool. We got to see them making the food & serving the plates. Not pictured the dessert. But we had the lemon blueberry creme brûlée & chocolate brownie cheesecake. I would like to add that one of the waiters overheard me speaking to my husband about wanting the creme brûlée for dessert and he said there was "only one left" he made note to the kitchen that I wanted it and they reserved it. That was much appreciated and it was amazing!!

Yelp
This was the perfect place for brunch!! I came in with 17 girls for a bday brunch! They handled all of us so well!! They set up 3 booths for us and food came out way faster than we ever expected! My table got everything from the breakfast sandwich to pancakes to the eggs Benedict and everything was delicious! Got a Bloody Mary and a cosmo both delicious!! I rarely ever give a 5 stars but this place was so great!! John our waiter was so sweet!!! We'll be asking for him again when we come back!!!

Yelp
If the servers are wearing jeans as part of their uniforms, there is no reason items on the menu should be priced as high as they are. The menu is highly overpriced for regular food items maybe just because it is in the Fairmont Hotel? Most of the sides were priced at $10. The food was decent, but definitely not worth the price. Our server seemed like he didn't really want to be there. He didn't really chat with us or talk up the menu at all. Again, if I'm spending that kind of money, I want someone to at least pretend like they want to wait on my table. We were a little dressier because of the location, but quickly saw people in hoodies, tshirts etc. I know that this is a PGH thing and in most restaurants they have lost the battle of trying to have a dress code but when I go to a nice restaurant I don't want to sit next to someone in a tshirt and sweatpants.

Yelp
Floor 2 had me covered and I appreciated that. A group of us went to Floor 2 after our prior stop was so loud we could hardly hear ourselves speak. We just wanted somewhere we could sip on a few drinks and casually catch up. We hadn't seen each other in a year so there was a ton to talk about. Floor 2 wasn't busy so they let us sit at a larger table and our waiter never intruded, only pausing to check in on us. It was very mellow and much appreciated. Then a rainstorm rolled in and began dumping buckets. I thought it would let up, but it maintained the deluge. Floor 2 began to close. They announced last call, but allowed us to linger due to the pouring rain. We stayed as long as we could without being rude and then left giving our thanks for their hospitality. The drinks were exceptionally good too! I had a gimlet and found it perfectly balanced and easy to drink!

Yelp
Service was so incredibly slow for a not packed Sunday brunch, although nice. We mentioned on the reservation that it was a birthday and nothing was addressed, we had to ask at the end... food was also pretty subpar. Hated the short rib sandwich, meat was somehow heavy but flavorless? Smash burger was pretty good, but very simple. The bahn mi sandwich was ok but weird that it had bologna in it? Coffee and latte tasted pretty burnt and low quality. Only thing that was well liked across the board were the thin fries and matcha latte Panna cotta. Really enjoyed the meringue and Panna cotta. Ambiance wasn't as nice as I remembered it and all together I wouldn't come back again.

Ha B.

Yelp
It's a nice and convenient spot. Service is great but the food was very meh...and a bit greasy. We came here for lunch and wasn't impressed by the quality of food but maybe breakfast is better.

Lauren T.

Yelp
This review is for the bar only. In my opinion it's one of the prettiest bars in Pittsburgh with an upscale ambiance. The bartenders are professional and welcoming, and they have a great list of cocktails and wines to choose from. When you're in the mood for an upscale city bar experience this is the spot!

Jacki B.

Yelp
Floor 2 is a super cute and trendy spot conveniently located in the Fairmont hotel. We had no wait for a table for 2 on a Friday night and while we were seated immediately, the service afterward was lacking. We only ordered a drink and appetizer, and it took forever to be waited on or checked up on. I'm still giving 4 stars because the food and drinks were phenomenal, but I wouldn't recommend coming here if you're short on time.

Christian W.

Yelp
This review is actually for two meals: dinner and breakfast the next day, but I'm going to focus on dinner. Our server extraordinaire, Jared (I hope I'm getting his name right, he said he answers to any J name) was an absolute legend. Honestly, this review gets 4 stars off the bat just for this king. He knew the menu inside and out with personal recommendations and anecdotes based on things he heard each of us say. Jared/Jeremy/Jerald also took outstanding care with my wife's severe food allergies (dairy and gluten). We are usually skeptical and hesitant to eat out in general because we know it is tough for kitchens to accommodate, but it was my brother-in-law's college graduation and we wanted to properly celebrate him. J-money immediately knew which items he felt confident could be easily adapted or were good to go as is and put our concerns at ease... and that's a huge deal for people with scary food allergies. All of our food was excellent. Yes, the prices are what they are, but honestly, stop being so cheap with your food experiences; splurge every once in a while on a nice dinner! Dang! If you don't want to spend a lotta money, eat at McDonald's I guess (which, like, is also cool. Do that). If you are expecting a very nice hotel in the heart of a big city to have a cheap restaurant, you're... you're... drunk or something. I dunno. Stop being so weird about paying for good food. Anyway. We got a table nearby the exposed kitchen area, which we all quite liked. It felt really unique and was well designed. It wasn't noisy or distracting or anything and Gordon Ramsay didn't scream at anyone. (Maybe that's a negative?) I liked it. Oh yeah, breakfast! Breakfast was effing fantastic. Best pancakes I've ever put in my eyeballs and my mouth. Seriously beautiful and delicious. Like. I was angry at my family for not also getting these stupid good pancakes. Here's a picture. Good place. Great server. Eat here. Or don't. Do whatever you want.

Monica S.

Yelp
We had a reservation for Thanksgiving day lunch...the food was good. It didn't seem that busy, but the service was a little slow.

Vicky F.

Yelp
Lovely place! Stoped by for a drink. Great cocktails! Would love to try some food the other time! Oh there is no view! But lovely atmosphere

Brenda W.

Yelp
Nice ambiance, service, food. Parking garage right next to it and valet parking available right out front for 13.00 with validation by restaurant. While food was delicious, I have a few qualms: 1) prices are extremely high. $115 or two short rib with pasta entrees, one sangria not filled to the top of glass, one cocktail, one apricot dessert with basil ice cream and one chocolate martini. No salads. 2) dessert menu only had one chocolate option and that was the chocolate martini. Sad to not have anything else with chocolate?? 3) chocolate martini-- I ordered expecting it to be served in what else but a martini glass but no....

Tabitha W.

Yelp
This is one of the places in the city I was most looking forward to trying, and I haven't been this disappointed in a long time. Starting with the service; it wasn't a busy night but we still waited more than ten minutes for anyone to speak to us at the host stand, as the only people there. Once we were greeted, we were told it would be a few minutes, even though it was eight minutes past the time of our reservation. When we were finally seated, a waiter dropped off waters and promised to be back "in a few" but by the time they did return, we could have ordered our entire meal right then. The drinks were small for the price, I got an espresso martini and my partner got something gin based. They were decent, but nothing we would order again. We also got the burrata as an appetizer which was okay, but again nothing spectacular. Our entrees were the most disappointing. I got the short rib agnolotti, and the flavor lacked and it tasted like there was a coating of water over it. Almost as if it was cooked awhile ago and a cover was put over it while it was steaming and formed a mist on the food. My partner got the strip steak, which wasn't very well seasoned and the potatoes were so salted they were difficult to have more than one bite of without a drink. In the hour and 45 minutes we were there, our waiter stopped by a total of four times (if you count the dropping off of waters then heading into the distance). For an almost $200 bill, I would have expected higher quality service, and certainly higher quality food. I wouldn't recommend this for a birthday or any other special event. The bar service seemed much more attentive so you could try your luck if you're just looking for a drink before heading to your final dinner destination, but I wouldn't take my chances.

Abby K.

Yelp
I was excited to try Floor 2, and while our service was great our food was average. We did have to send one of our entrees back, and while the kitchen did quickly remake the order it came back with the same off taste. Perhaps the kitchen was having an off night. The ambiance, views and cocktails were great!

Joyce K.

Yelp
In search of cute brunch places in Pittsburgh, my friend and I came across Floor 2 in Downtown Pittsburgh! Fortunately, we were able to make a reservation the morning of. As the name of the restaurant suggests, it is on the second floor of the Fairmont hotel. The building and restaurant itself was very elegant and modern with a casual dress code. I admit that the menu was limited but we were still happy with the available options. My friend ordered the shakshuka and I got the eggs benedict. She also ordered a latte and I got coffee. The coffee mugs were clear glass and I was surprisingly provided with an entire pot of coffee to refill my mug with. I definitely got my money's worth of the coffee, but I felt bad that I couldn't finish the entire pot. The shakshuka looked delicious, with two pieces of toasted bread to dip into the skillet. However, at some point, my friend noted that she ran out of bread and substance within the skillet to dip into, with only the soup remaining. My eggs benedict were quite good, with perfectly cooked potatoes on the side. I especially enjoyed the ham, which was thicker and fattier than most places, which seem to serve deli meat. However, I was under the impression that the eggs benedict was coming with smoked salmon, not ham. I also thought the dish could have had a salad on the side to fully complete the meal, but the provided portion of food was perfect.

Lisa U.

Yelp
Food was decent, and while the servers were kind, the overall service was disorganized and fragmented. Took multiple people to seat us even though we had a reservation and the place was nearly empty. Even with multiple servers helping us, they forgot my espresso, but when they finally brought it it was in a very hot glass (not a coffee or espresso mug) without a handle. Salt was brought to the table without salt in it. As for the food, we had the lobster roll which was mediocre at best (bread was subpar and sauce was coleslaw like). Shakshuka was good and the accompanying bread was delicious.

Olivia M.

Yelp
A place that could have a lot of potential for fine dining, but fell short. First, we were disappointed because we didn't realize that we couldn't get the bar menu because we were sitting in the dining room, not just at the bar. We made reservations because we knew it was going to be a busy night (Light Up Night) and it wasn't clear to us making that reservation that we'd have to order from the dinner menu. The dinner menu did not live up to its pricing. The food quality was subpar, and it was full of experimental flavors that didn't mesh too well. The saving grace of the evening were the cocktails. We really enjoyed the two we got. Though we may return if invited by friends, we won't choose to return ourselves.

Craig B.

Yelp
Stayed at the Fairmont for a couple of nights. I ordered room service the first. I ordered a half rotisserie chicken with whipped mash, and broccoli rabe. Chicken was rubbery and over salted. The broccoli rabe was over-salted to the point where it was in edible. Went for breakfast the next morning at the restaurant and ordered the all American breakfast, two eggs over medium, toast, and potatoes. Plate came out with eggs overcooked hard. Waiter put in a second order which came out correct but the potatoes were OLD like they'd been made HOURS ago and the oil they were cooked in tasted like fish. What can I say other than to avoid this overpriced bad diner food.

Ben J.

Yelp
We had the misfortune of having one of the best meals of 2022 here. In return it had us dine there 4 more times after, with not so great reviews:( the service, ambience, and cocktails are fantastic. The food however does not merit the definition of a restaurant. It's a nice cocktail bar.

Cait H.

Yelp
The girls & I checked out Floor 2 in the Fairmont hotel & had a fantastic time drinking & dining together. If you want to enjoy this beautiful space nearly to yourselves, grab some cocktails at the bar after you finish brunch. You might even get some beautiful rainbow lighting on the tables like we did. Lobster Roll $24 - delicious buttery roll, good overall, just not super flavorful. Would try the salmon eggs Benedict next. Espresso Martini $12 - perfect & in lovely glassware Fl 2 Cosmo $15 - good, nothing too exciting Whiskey Sour - again, perfect, & the bartender was so nice This spot is pricey, but was worth the splurge for a fun girls' day out in Pittsburgh in a beautiful setting. Imo this place is best during the day when you can take advantage of all of the windows & great lighting. Tip for the DD: You can park in the garage at the hotel & they'll validate your parking at the front desk. Just bring your receipt on the way out.

Nancy J.

Yelp
We lunched here before the symphony because of its great location. The view is fun, and the facility is lovely. I had the lobster roll, which had a disappointing amount of delicious lobster salad, on a plain, stale, brioche bun. It was not buttered or grilled. The shoestring fries were overcooked and unsalted...with no salt on the table. My young granddaughter had the hamburger, which she said did not have enough of the secret sauce. The server was pleasant but left us unattended in the beginning and throughout. Overall, I was disappointed, even though I wanted to love the place.

Chardae J.

Yelp
I absolutely love the vibes here. The food isn't my favorite because it's pretentious as my boyfriend would say but I like the vibe and the wine. I absolutely love the atmosphere from the moment you walk up the stairs and the selection of cocktails are creative and everything that I need it to be. The only reason I don't visit this place as often anymore is that I work from home and the prices are pretty pricey.

John L.

Yelp
Great server and atmosphere. However food was meh. Over priced brezino fish that the server talked me into . Menu is just not great. Maybe I'll try it again 6 mo th

Yelp
We ended up having cocktails at fl.2 in my other favorite hotel in Pittsburgh, the Fairmont. I have stayed here a few times and the breakfasts have always been really good. We popped up for a drink since we had time until dinner and I am always reminded how lovely the space is. The views are interesting and you can see interesting architectural details on upper floors of the buildings across the street. Dan inquired about their "cocktail of the week" and the bartender, not expecting that question on a slower night, asked what he wanted... an Old Fashioned - it suddenly became the "drink of the week". We watched them serve at least 8 or 10 before leaving. The service was nice and I enjoy the ambiance here. I can't speak to the food at lunch or dinner, but for a cocktail or two, its lovely.

David J.

Yelp
If I were less stingy, I could round up to 5stars for this place. We've not been here since before COVID, but little has changed. The menu is a little more diverse, primarily from the addition of a few nice pasta dishes. I had the excellent short rib pasta and my date went for the half chicken, which was also very good. The only other food was the complimentary grilled bread. For drinks it was a martini and a couple of glasses of wine. We will typically buy a bottle of Chardonnay, but the lowest priced bottle was $107, much more than we wanted to spend. The glass choices were fine, with decent quality and reasonable prices. Service was excellent. We'll be back, but the frequency is limited due to the lack of a palatable wine list.

Brianna G.

Yelp
I think Fl 2 is one of the more modern / chic restaurants in downtown pittsburgh. Located inside of a hotel, it is just up the stairs. The aesthetic is very pleasing. Reminds me of a New York City restaurant / bar. Dinner menu is decent, I definitely recommend for brunch over dinner. Espresso martinis were yum!

Rachel P.

Yelp
Ordered delivery from Floor 2 during a spa visit to the Fairmont Hotel. Beautiful execution. Well-appointed tray with flowers & cloth napkin. The fries were crispy & hot. The lobster roll was generously filled & tasty. Great food, excellent service.

Kristy D.

Yelp
I have been here a few times, and I only write good reviews. I am not from Pittsburgh I am from Chicago. I am also in The industry and have run plenty of my own stores and businesses. I will never write a bad review, I only spend my time to write good ones. I do enjoy the ambience, and the atmosphere. I have only enjoyed one or two things off the menu so I can't vouch for everything that is offered. I did in fact enjoy a few glasses of wine at the bar and it was during happy hour and what seemed to be during a time when a few conferences had let out. I opted for a glass of wine just to keep it simple for the bartender because I could see that they were a few people that were not as simple.. she did the best that she could and was polite during a busy trying time being the only bartender. Another time that I have sat at a table alongside the windows, it was still very busy and it seem to be short staffed. This is not a bad thing but my waiter was very accommodating and explain things on the menu and was quick to suggest and give his input to help make decisions easier. I did enjoy a few memo says in the early afternoon on a Sunday along with a breakfast menu, and my friend enjoyed the lobster roll. We both were delighted with our service and the food that we were unsure what to expect with as far as portions etc. I would definitely come here again, as I felt comfortable and accommodated. I did feel although the prices were a bit more than I expected... I now know for the next time. I hope to try more on this smaller menu, but I would definitely come back as far as I know right now. It is trendy, classy and has a great view. Also the hotel entrance up to the stairway is beautiful and very appealing.

Yelp
We ate here for our fifth anniversary last year, and it was such a cool spot. The food and service were exceptional. The bar is also fun :)

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Great spot for lunch meetings in downtown Pittsburgh- quiet, spacious with upscale vibe.

Ally B.

Yelp
We had a big group dinner last night and the service was phenomenal. Gary was our waiter and he was amazing! He gave great recommendations on food and drinks as some of us have never been to this restaurant before. We loved the burrata and really enjoyed all of our dishes. The only downside is the difficulty it was to make a reservation and the hostess's awful attitude. She was rude on the phone and in person acting like we were the worst people she has ever encountered. Overall, Gary made our experience better!

Katrece C.

Yelp
Perfection! Came here right before the Steelers game to grab a quick bite. The service was quick and the food came out quickly. I wasn't about to get a picture of the food because i was hungry and in a rush but I'll tell you about it. Avacado toast- 5 was very delicious. I took off the poached egg Breakfast potatoes 4.5. Thick cut delicious potatoes. They were a little too big for me The modern breakfast with blueberry pancakes 5 all amazing. Bacon eggs potatoes. The chef did their thing back there !

David H.

Yelp
We Recommend. My wife and I usually dine at this restaurant before attending one of the shows or events in the Cultural District in downtown Pittsburgh. They have a new chef and an updated menu. We enjoyed the new items we each ordered, and each were prepared to perfection. Our server, Jered, was very friendly and helpful in suggesting some new drinks for us to try. We are looking forward to our next dining adventure at FL2.

Nina B.

Yelp
I love the chill yet upscale ambiance here. We went for a night cap. The drink list was great, but quite pricey in my opinion for the area. The staff was attentive and very personable.

Lin C.

Yelp
The atmosphere and quality of the food are top notch. Our waiter was excellent and he had about ten tables. The only downside other than the prices, which are high, is that the menu is somewhat limited but they may be why the quality is so good. The charcuterie platter is excellent with a nice balance of cheese and meat choices. The steak and brinzino we had were both very tasty. You do get a 15% discount if you are a symphony subscriber. This is the high end of Pittsburgh restaurants and you get what you pay for.

Kevin J.

Yelp
2floors up, but I'm down! This place is lit, good vibes, drinks are smooth Come, dine, and vibe. Nothing else needed

Yelp
UPDATE (2/27): I sent a copy of this review to management. I had back immediately apologizing and taking comments into consideration and improvement for the future. First off I would give a 4.5 star rating for the food but since there is no differentiation between and food service this is why it's low The experience of service I had was awful. I came with my friend prior to seeing Hamilton on a Friday night. We had a 6pm reservation. Our server didn't ask if we were seeing a show and in hindsight maybe we should have mentioned but we were wearing fancy dresses. My friend is vegan and had been here recently so she knew modifications could be made. It took 25 mins for our cocktails to arrive. Which came after our first appetizer - the squash which was great - fyi it's cold. Our dinner - my friend got a vegan version of the pasta and I got the short rib arrived at 7:15pm. Our server at this point knew we were going to Hamilton and on a time crunch. We basically had to inhale our food. He brought us bread but it had butter on it after my friend had some. What was worse the table behind us was seated after us and were served before us. Someone messed up big time but there was NO ownership - he comped my friend a coffee. Really. I get maybe not drinks but at least apps. I suffer from eosinophilic esophagitis and have had multiple emergency endoscopies with food being stuck. I was starving and trying to take care of myself but when we got to the theatre I was suffering from pretty bad acid reflux and barely slept. This was the worse $100 I have spent in a long time.

Yelp
By far one of the most aesthetic brunches in Pittsburgh. The bar itself is a photo op. The gold accents are stunning as well. Table tops are always set nicely. I have been for brunch a few times. Most recently I ordered pancakes with a side of potatoes. The potatoes were great, well seasoned, and definitely crispy. The pancakes were good too but not as good as I had hoped. The flavor from the topping really made them better, but they are definitely beautiful. Our servers have always been very accommodating even when we are in large groups!

Yelp
Spent a girls night dinner here and had a good meal. There was an event going on at the hotel during our reservation so the bar area was very crowded and a little slower on getting drinks due to this. The cocktails were delicious and the food was great as well. It felt a bit overpriced, which I was aware of prior to going, but that definitely held me back from trying more dishes. Our server was helpful and attentive, able to answer any questions we had about the menu or make adjustments if needed. Can't wait to go back and try their brunch!

Yelp
I came to FL.2 for brunch. There is a parking garage so you don't have to worry about finding parking downtown. I made reservations and was seated immediately. The waiter did not come to serve me and my party for while. Our waiter appeared burnt out and wasn't attentive and this was seen by other parties. One guest got up and serve his table their own water. Once we did order, our food came out quickly but our drinks took forever. The food was delicious . I will definitely be back because of food and the environment and it overlooks the beautiful city.

Yelp
Yum yum! I went for brunch with a large group snd made a reservation. They were kind enough to seat us all together. I loved how the menu had more breakfasty and lunchy options both for brunch. You could get eggs and bacon and a lobster roll at the same meal! Also loved that they had hot coffee on the table for you to serve yourself, it was a nice touch.
