The 25 Best Happy Hours In Seattle

"When: Monday-Friday, 3-5pm The Deal: $15 Any Drink And Unlimited Games Of Mini Golf Nothing is stopping you from blocking off a "dermatologist appointment" on your calendar to spend two hours playing mini golf and sipping beer on a Tuesday. For legal reasons, that's a joke." - aimee rizzo, gabe guarente

"Swinging golf clubs around while drinking is usually not encouraged—but that’s exactly the activity at Flatstick Pub, a dog-friendly mini-golf bar perfect for a big group (you can even rent out private course space). 15 Great Bars With Activities

"Swinging golf clubs around while drinking a lot of alcohol is usually not encouraged - but that’s exactly what you’re going to do at Flatstick Pub, a dog-friendly mini-golf bar perfect for a big group (you can even rent out private course space). If you’re not into mini golf, Flatstick also has duffle ball, a tabletop version of golf where you use your hands and get even more frustrated. "This indoor putt-putt course elevates plain old mini-golf with three huge innovations: the easy availability of both 40 local craft beersand slow-braised tacos from Manu's, and...dogs. That's right: Pooches can play through, especially at Yappy Hour ($1 off pints for anyone accompanying a pup, weekdays 6–7 p.m. and all day Sunday). Book ahead for a tee time on the keg-adorned holes,or reserve when you arrive and waitat one of the tabletop "duffleboards"—a cross between shuffleboard and mini-golf—all honoring Seattle landmarks. Leave time to check out all the bright, trippy murals by the city's prolific muralist Ryan Henry Ward, aka Henry."

After a morning of walking we headed into this watering hole and were pleasantly surprised at how long we stayed! We did the mini-golf, which was a pretty good course, a bit more challenging than the usual ones you find in bars - but my no means difficult. Then we moved onto the darts board which we ended up staying for about 2hrs - Christ my arm was sore! We had several drinks and some bar snack food while we were chucking the arrows. Plenty of games on the dart board to play and the photo's and videos were a great touch whilst playing (camera above the dart board, catches team photo before and videos the winning shot!)

Google
Place was dope! Date night or hanging with friends, this place is a great option. Lots of drinks to choose from and service was great. Good price for the mini golf too I believe it was $15 for unlimited play.

Google
I loved this place way more than I thought I would. The bartenders were all friendly, the drinks and food were great (I recommend the apple pie pizza), the atmosphere was really nice and welcoming, and the place is huuuge. My friends and I especially enjoyed the lower level that has a bunch of board games and mini golf. The vibes were unmatched. We went on a Friday night and it did not get crowded and overwhelming like some bars do. I highly recommend this place!

Google
We are in from Columbus, Ohio and looking for great places to stop in at while we’re here in Seattle. The reviews and the pictures were amazing. But honestly, it didn’t do it justice, until we actually had the chance to come in here and experience it for ourselves. The place is huge, plenty of seating, great beer, tasty food and the games are incredible. The mini golf is super challenging so don’t feel bad when you score really high. Lol! But even more fun was the duffelboard! Wish there were more places like this back home. Highly recommended to anyone that lives local or happens to be visiting.

Google
This is such a cute pub that offers mini golf, games, food, and drink. It is located in a basement, which I thought was a nice touch. Once inside, you are greeted by the service which will guide you to the bar to pay for services. Once at the bar, you will be able to purchase a variety of Washington state beers and food. The food, drink and games are all reasonably priced. Aside from mini golf, a plethora of board games are available for use. Finally, it is worth noting that my partner and I found this place through a Groupon, and I'm glad to say that they give us little fuss for using one. Thank you for the experience.

Google
Such a fun concept for a bar! The space is absolutely huge with many different games and sections you can play in. They only serve local beer, but what I had was good. The bartenders were very friendly. We went on a Sunday night and we’re only one of a couple parties there, can’t speak to how rowdy it gets on the weekend.

Google
My favorite place in Seattle! My partner and I are regulars here. Great staff, a good variety of beer, and always so much fun!! My favorite pizza it's the the hot streak, do recommend! Beer and mini golf are always a good way to spend your evening.

Rebecca Seepersad

Google
Such an amazing place!!! They have indoor mini golf and duffleboard which is basically tabletop mini golf. They also have dufflepong which is beer pong but instead of throwing a ping pong ball, you hit a golf ball with a putting stick (see photos). They have Nintendo 64, a variety of board games, corn hole and a bunch of other games that I think they kind of invented on their own. They only really have local beers so don’t expect to get a Bud Light or anything of that nature, but this place is so much fun to hang out at!!!

Yelp
This venue really is awesome. I used to come here quite often pre-pandemic and today was the first time since then. And I have to say, it has only changed for the better. Now, they serve food! Before they had a 3rd party taco restaurant serving limited menu items. If I recall correctly, they were called....Manu Tacos. They served good food but now Flatstick serves all kinds of bar foods. Pizza, french fries, wings, salad, etc. Their taplist has always been great. All local brews and ciders. Today I had white stout from Postdoc, called Antichromatic. A beer that I probably have never gotten around to trying if I didn't visit here. We were here for a work event and I would say everyone had a good time today.

Yelp
This place was awesome. We came during a sleepy Tuesday afternoon. I'm thinking it might be crowded on a game day. Beer selection was outstanding and we had some corn dog bites and salad. The bartender was so friendly and knowledgeable about the beer.

Yelp
Came here with my boyfriend and had the time of our lives! Highly recommend this spot for a date night, friends night out or somewhere to go when it's raining! You know how Seattle be sometimes

Yelp
Yes! I loved this place!!!!! It was so much fun playing mini gulf and drinking some beer. They also offer food here but we didn't try it since we ate elsewhere. This is a great spot for groups, date night or boredom. Everything here was fun!!! I highly recommend it.

Yelp
I love this place after any local game. We love to come here and hang out while the craziness of the light rail chills out. 2025/26 season of mariners games it's $1 off beer $2 off pizza and $3 off combo. The beer selection is always on point. If your up for a game or two they definitely have that.

Yelp
Ummm, I am so GLAD I stumbled upon this gem of a place when looking for activities to do with friends. It was so much fun for a really good price too!! Each person paid $15 for both the mini golf and duffle experience. We all had so much fun and laughed throughout the night. Just be weary on the menus posted on Yelp because they are outdated and they do not offer pitchers anymore!
google avatar

Yelp
Always a great selection of beers and ciders. Also have great premade craft cocktails now. Staff is friendly and welcoming.

Yelp
Walked by and stopped for a drink, Caleb sold us on food and mini-golf! Great service, great beer and great pizza. Laid back atmosphere!

Yelp
Came here for a friend's bday party. We enjoyed the mini golf, pizza, and beer. Vegetarian pizza was possible! Staffs were chill and friendly. Environment was spacious and clean. Perfect for hosting a party or hanging out with friends! Parking was street parking, past 6pm is free.

Yelp
Stopped in to get out of the cold one day and have a drink and take advantage of 50% of menu items. I got the hawaiian pizza it was not the greatest so they get a couple stars taken off for that. Pretty flavorless and just blah. The homemade lemonade was delicious though - and the space is neat with lots of activities.

Yelp
Some of the best wings and pizza the I have ever had... 9.7/10 the classic wings where fried to perfection and the green jacket pizza is so delicious

Yelp
My milestone 600th review goes out to Flatstick Pub in Seattle's Pioneer Square! Now this, THIS was a great place to spend our Monday afternoon to kill time before a baseball game later in the day. My dad found this place while randomly searching for lunch around the downtown area, and he suggested this spot. Note that this place is strictly 21+ only. When you enter Flatstick, you are directed to a staircase that leads downstairs, which is technically a basement area. The bartender did have to ID me because he said I looked younger than my actual age (which I'm used to people telling me at this point). After reviewing the lengthy beer menu that they had, the bartender gave me a sample of the Channel Marker (#24) and the Washington Gold (#25). The Channel Marker, which is an off-dry raspberry cider, was so good that I decided to buy it! My dad got a sampler of the Paradise Creek Huckleberry Pucker (#7), which he got because he liked this one. Their menu also shows you how much beer that they have left before it's all gone (green means full, yellow means half, and red means almost gone). After getting our beer, we headed down to play mini golf. I'm not the greatest player in mini golf, but I ended up playing fairly well and beating my dad in it by two points. Having a beer while playing mini golf made the whole experience way more fun. We then headed back up to have their food before moving on to play duffleboard. My dad and I both ordered their chicken tacos, which were tender, fresh, and full of flavor. Their actual kitchen wasn't open yet so they were only serving small appetizer dishes. Playing duffleboard was also fun! One was shaped like Lumen Field (home of the Seattle Seahawks) and another one was shaped like T-Mobile Park (home of the Seattle Mariners). The last duffleboard that you play is kind of like playing skeeball, except you use a stick and not your hand. We had an excellent time here and I really want to come back on my next trip to Seattle!

Yelp
Great fun time with good selection of beer and cider from local breweries and solid pizza. It has a cool underground vibe and the service is always friendly and happy to pour you another!

Yelp
We only came for food, but it was very average. The wait time was fairly long as well.

Yelp
I love this place, had visited once in 2019, and was excited to return again when in town! A nice way to escape the heat (it was warm when we were in visiting) or the rain for a bit and take a break from sightseeing to grab a beer and play some games. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area looking for something fun to do!

Yelp
Cool spot for some mini-golf and drinks in the Pioneer Square area! Came by on a quiet Wednesday evening with a couple of buddies and had a good time. We came for the mini-golf and while it isn't anything fancy, it gets the job done. There are 9 holes of golf here, and they also have 9 holes of mini-shuffleboard upstairs as well as some other games. The 9 holes of golf aren't too complex so they can be finished pretty quick, but all of the other games make it a nice hangout spot if you and your group are into beer. Golf was $10. What I like about this place the most is their efficient use of their space. This place is pretty huge, and as I mentioned earlier, there's a lot going on here as far as games and drinks. They manage to fit a lot here, so it's a perfect spot for large gatherings. Beers are also pretty solid, huge variety! All street parking but there's a ton of it nearby. Overall, fun spot but I do wish the mini-golf was more challenging.
google avatar

Yelp
What a fun experience. It looks and sounds intimidating from the outside but once you're inside the service is good and the place is welcoming. They have a golf themed area which is pretty cool but it's full people most of the time. Not sure if you have to t Pay to play or what.

Yelp
My boyfriend had been here before with his family but this was my first time to Flatstick! I got a sweet deal off Groupon so decided to check it out. The bartenders were super nice and seeing it was a slow Sunday afternoon, there were a few small groups of people playing mini golf. My bf and I started out with duffle board which was super fun and no one else were playing so no need to wait. They have LOTS of craft beers and ciders and they also have food but we had already had lunch elsewhere. They have drink holders and lots of hooks to hang your jackets, purses, bags, etc. they have bathrooms which were clean, super important! It's a cool place, Seattle themed, and locally owned (Go Cougs!)! I can't wait to come back, I want to try dufflepong next lol!
google avatar

Claire S.

Yelp
Such a fun place to go. We parked right across the street. The staff was super friendly and helpful in making drink recommendations. Make sure to download their app and make an account for 50% off beer! Mini golf is $8 per person or $12 unlimited games. I like how they have a spot for your drinks for when you play mimi golf. There are also lots of tables for you to sit at. There was a corner with board games. We ate some nachos and played dominos. Overall a great experience and I would come by again.

Matt W.

Yelp
This is our favorite bar around the stadiums. Drinks are priced right and the atmosphere is great,

Amanda V.

Yelp
Great vibes, drinks, and games! The service was fantastic as well. After you play mini golf they have a ping pong table and corn hole!

Yelp
Flatstick Pub has been on my bookmarks list for some time now. A coworker mentioned it months ago, and since we're up in Seattle a couple times a month, my guy and I decided to try it out before a Sounder's Match at Lumen Field. This place is conveniently located within walking distance from the Link / One Line. At street level, you'll walk in, and immediately descend a flight of stairs to get to the main level of this pub. The bartender could tell we looked a bit lost, and thankfully waved us over to him. There were specials for the weekend that celebrated their anniversary, which made playing a round of mini golf less expensive than regular price -- and unlimited, to boot! They have tables to sit and drink at on the main level of the pub, and other areas once you go down another level, where the mini golf is. In this area, there are other inlets to sit and play board games and others like duffle board and cork hole. The one thing that would make Flatstick Pub a knock out five out of five stars is their menu and food they offer. I'm not certain why they don't have a bigger (and better) menu, but I was sorely disappointed that I didn't do my homework and look into what food offerings were available. While this isn't their fault, I felt like our time here was cut short because of the limited menu.

Yelp
What a fun spot! We came here as a small team group, after dinner, to play some mini golf and grab drinks. I didn't drink any beer so I loved that they have Rachel's Ginger Beer as a NA option! There was a small wait for the putt putt, but it was fine as it gave us time to do our white elephant exchange. It was easy going as soon as we got started though! The course was actually really difficult, but fun! I didn't realize until halfway thru that it spelled "SEATTLE" ha. I also appreciate that the course had built in spots to put your beverages as you play. Some players were having holiday gatherings as they have semi-private/enclosed spaces. All in all a good time! For accessibility purposes -- there are quite a bit of stairs. There are stairs to get down to the main bar area and the more stairs to get to the mini golf area. There is an elevator that only goes one way - I can't remember which way so just a heads up!

Yelp
Came here for a work event! Nice bar area with many different games to play. Playing games is more fun when you're TipSy- haha. Staff were polite and the food offerings were delicious! I love bar food made VERY WELL. The pizza offerings were delicious and tasted very fresh especially the bread. The wings were delicious and quite large and the fries were thin and very crispy. I enjoyed the mini Corn Dogs also as I haven't seen those in years! Thanks for having us!

Yelp
A friend had a birthday party here and the staff were super nice. Honestly just 5 stars for the service we got alone. This place is mostly a bar that has a wide selection of local beers and a few NA options (Rachel's ginger beer). There are also 10 holes of mini golf and 10 holes of duffleboard (like shuffleboard combined with mini golf) as entertainment. There were also a lot of popular board games (think Sorry and CodeNames and Risk) and Nintendo games like Mario kart. The games were all fun though it's definitely a play once through and you're done kind of situation. The staff were so great though! They were very attentive to my friends hosting the party, set up Mario kart for us, and were so nice. We also all got some food and our friend brought in celebratory desserts from outside too. The tacos and nachos are fine - not amazing but also better than I expected for bar food - and a pretty large portion. I'd definitely come back for another event like this one or consider it for future events I plan!

Yelp
We had our team luncheon here. They had a great selection of beers & ciders. And friendly staff.

Yelp
**My 1000th Review!** Came by for an afternoon tee time with friends. We parked right outside and were oriented to the course immediately by a friendly host. We enjoyed the 9 holes of Seattle themed mini golf and their wide selection of beer. Food was limited to chips, nachos and a few taco options. We got the chips and guac and it was just OK. Enjoyed some corn hole and eyed their duffleboard game for next time. Overall prices were really fair and we were happy to have something fun to do while "at the bar." Great for a group. We'll be back.
google avatar

Arthur T.

Yelp
Celebrated my brother's birthday at Flatstick with a group of about 10! We all had a good time. Only beer available (no hard alcohol). I think they might have some spiked ciders or wine too. Opted for their hazy IPAs for the night. One downside was, their menu is very extensive, but they mentioned a lot of their beers were unavailable. Nonetheless, the one hazy IPA they did had was good! Course was a fun 9 hole game. They provide everything and give you a card to keep track. Definitely be on the lookout for some of the short cuts on some of the holes :) They also had a few other games upstairs and downstairs as well. We had our own little table on the downstairs. There was a DJ playing as well for some time. Pioneer Square itself isn't the best area, so definitely be careful. I was able to park within a block or two of Flatstick. The entrance is definitely easy to miss as well. A small door that leads you downstairs to the area. All in all, fun spot!

Yelp
Late post....we had a team building event here...and the team really enjoyed it. The venue was quite dated...and could have been better, HOWEVER the staff is what made it 5 stars for us! The staff made it easy, they were accommodating and friendly...and it was fun. Could the food have been better, sure...but it was fine for what it was. We had a lot of food restrictions and butternut squash was the only choice that would work.....and we chose not to have outside catering for the simplicity of it all. Have been to other venues like this, that were automated with lot of bells and whistles...but this was fun despited being dated. Our team had fun and enjoyed it. We even gave out awards...it was a lot to have 10 teams of 5 ppl...but we made it work.

Brion D.

Yelp
Been here since they opened, many good memories. Great beer selection. I don't love the Flatstick brand overall due to the Redmond daytime manager / bartender guy being so overly offensive and rude, but I will go to Seattle location still.
google avatar

Courtney C.

Yelp
This place was a blast! The staff was really friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the variety of activities. Some activities were free and others were paid, but felt the prices were fair. They had a great craft beer selection as well. It was a really fun laid back place to hang out with friends.

Yelp
Fun place for friends, family, or a date! Came for the mini golf which was $10 per person, for 8 courses that spell out "Seattle." The courses were fairly easy and kind of similar but the place has so many other games (free and for a fee) that overall you can spend a lot of time doing various things. Lots of local beer, cider, and seltzer available but the food options were mostly chips.

alejandra b.

Yelp
I've came to Seattle for two trips and we've made sure to come back to flat stick pub as well as recommend it to our other friends. We found it on Yelp initially and walked to it one night, it was so lively and we had an amazing time.

Yelp
It's a Friday night, do you have any plans? For me, I did not. But I wanted to make plans! Keep in mind this place is 21+ so you can't bring liabilities (aka anyone younger than 21). I made a reservation for my cousins and I earlier that day. It was less than a 6 hour notice, and I was able to get in a 10:50PM reservation. I could have booked an earlier reservation at 9:10PM, but we have girlies who work. Parking in downtown make you sick? Honestly same. Surprisingly, I was able to find parking on 2nd ave when you turn left from Washington St. Considering it was Friday night, the clubs were just getting started and the baseball game had just ended, I could not believe how fast I found parking. I wish this to be true anytime I go to downtown. But back to more important notes. Parking can be shitty. I do recommend going a bit early to anticipate making circles. For the place itself, it blends in well with the rest of the area. The door is next to this pizzaria, which is so cute! I'd watch your step as you enter because it's underground! I mean, what do you expect. It's pioneer square, iykyk. As you walk in, it's loud. I mean as a new adult trying to navigate back into society after restrictions and limitations, I was a little overstimulated. We were not greeted with anyone in the front for ID checks. But they did check my ID for drinks and reservation (for those thinking you can get in like that forreal). You have to go down the first set of stairs to an even lowered area where the mini golf is. I tried checking in 20 minutes before my scheduled time, but there was a waitlist of people who could go if another party didn't show up. We went up to the main floor once you enter. We got a couple drinks. They're 1/2 off your first drink, you gotta download the app though. It was enough time to drink my cider and drink my cousin's cider to have a happy fun time. We had to actually check in with the guy downstairs. He checks you in and shows you where the clubs are. He will be the one to give you your balls. He gave my cousins and I the same color of the Philippines flag. You think he knew I am Filipino? Or coincidence? Going through the courses were fun! If you're not familiar with Golf, this is a wonderful introduction. If you are, it's also fun for you. I would say the first hole is hella hard. Did I do more than 8 chances? Maybe. The course spells out SEATTLE, which is adorable. The last hole you get one chance in order for them to collect their balls. They also leave a caddy next to the hole for you to put your club. There are activities in the rooms around the course while you wait, or as you finish. You can also host parties, or groups as some of the rooms are big enough with a table and chairs. Overall, my experience, atmosphere, and price (which was $8 per person), definitely a 4/5!!!! I just wish it was a little longer and more time between groups. We were waiting 5-10 minutes because it was only 3 of us in our group and the two groups ahead of us had 5 people (which is the max)

Yelp
Love the concept behind Flatstick. There's a super cool Put Put area, Duffle board, great beers on tap, delicious tacos, plenty of TV's and its dog friendly. Seriously what more could you want from a place? Sometimes it gets a bit busy but the beertenders are always quick. Inside there are two bars to keep the beer flowing. Atmosphere is pretty fun on the weekends/weekend nights with good music playing and sports on TV. During the week they have bingo night, trivia night and I believe a duffleboard competition. Great spot to kill sometime, watch a game and hang out with all the dogs.

Yelp
Indoor mini golf, beers, and themed duffleboard- what's not to love? My husband and I popped in on an afternoon in Pioneer Square after a Sounders game. Super fun to dink around- even if you're in a small group. Beer and cider selection were good! Lots of local options. Plus, free pretzels to snack on.
google avatar

Karen C.

Yelp
A ton of fun especially if you want a well lit, beer filled, and fun experience. You're able to make a tee time reservation for minigolf, but also try walking in and waiting for a tee time. Many local beers on tap, and some wines / non-alcoholic drinks available too.
google avatar

Yelp
We have been now several times and it can tend to be loud and crowded but it is always fun! Met up with my nephews and family and all ages had a good time with the mini golf and having a few cocktails before we ate. It is a good laid back atmosphere and would be perfect for a first date or work party. In fact one time there was a staff party going on when I met a friend for drinks and there were still plenty of seats for us to hang out and catch up. They have a great drink menu that tells you what things are and the food was way better every time than anticipated. I mean, what bar serves a great salad? This one! Parking is very limited in this area so I usually park in the paid garage that is just past there but it is easy to use.

Yelp
Celebrated my husbands 40th birthday in the Sunflower Room. The place was clean, staff was great, beverage selection was huge, and the taco bar was excellent! I would definitely recommend the party rooms for any type of celebration.

Yelp
This is the second time I've been here and it's always been great. They have all beer there on tap. And the bartenders are pretty nice. This time we played golf. We had someone go over the rules with us and played a few holes while drinking beer. The place is down in the basement with low lighting which was nice for the eyes. I wouldn't mind coming here just to drink and eat. We ordered a bunch of nachos with different meat and one with no meat. The chicken one was good but I enjoyed the pork more. I also found a salsa bar which was kind of tucked in the corner and if you stand there you're kind of in the middle of the walkway so I kept having to hug the salsa bar when someone walked by.

Yelp
Not a huge fan of mini golf but really enjoyed my time here. Quick and easy game of mini golf with a nice selection of beer. Also a great variety of barcade games to play with a small group. Plenty of seating and indoor space which doesn't feel too crowded.

Yelp
This places is great and fun for groups, dates, or company team events! They have Cornhole, mini golf, shuffleboard, beer pong, beer pong basketball, large Jenga, and some game that is like air hockey but on grass with a golf ball. I personally prefer air hockey because sometimes the ball doesn't really move as well on the grass. Drinks usually consists of ciders, beer, and a limited selection of wine (maybe around 3).I'm not much of a beer person, but the ciders and Sauv Blanc are great! They also have that House Rose bubbly which is OK for me too. The only thing I'd say prep yourself for is that fact that it gets really hot inside! Especially if you are playing games and moving around. We were there for a team event and were playing Cornhole downstairs. Afterwards we had to go outside for a break because we were sweating so much! It'd be nice if they could turn on some air conditioning or get some more fans! Even after we played some beer pong, my friend had to go outside again for another break! Overall, I really like this place and think it's fun to go with groups, friends, or dates. However, I would be hesitant to go during any busy or warm times for fear that I would be sweating non stop with all of the bodies in the room.

Yelp
We had an amazing time hanging out at Flagstick. This pub is great, the drinks and food were good and the mini golf course is so fun. Definitely a great time to hang here and kill time. Great for groups, definitely would come back again.

Yelp
We came here to start our day on what was a Los Angeles Galaxy away match versus the Sounders. The entirety of our group was met by friendly staff and friendly bartenders. I loved the location for how close it was to the stadium. The beer selection was good! Also, a good television setup for all sports watching. You must descend into this bar; it does not have anything to do with that café you see right next to it. Me and my friends had a good time and the pub here were gracious hosts. We thank you for your generosity. If I am ever back in Seattle, I'll make sure to visit here again.
