"Beyoncé, Slash, Big Boi, and Andre 3000 are just a few of the Black music icons that look down on you with approval while you enjoy moist, sweet waffles and crackly fried chicken tenders at Flavor Rich's downtown location. But unlike a lot of brunch spots with celeb-plastered walls, great food overpowers cutesy trends here. The food truck-turned-restaurant fills up on weekends, so get there before 10-ish to beat the brunch bunch. Order the french toast flight, which really sets the bar for future french toast expectations. You get four pieces of sweet batter-dipped bread, each with a delicious topping like sweet blueberry with cream cheese icing or thick, moist red velvet cake. And if you go for a drink like the blood orange margarita, expect it to be strong enough to make you think you can sing like the icons on the wall. photo credit: Amy Sinclair photo credit: Amy Sinclair photo credit: Amy Sinclair Food Rundown video credit: Jacinta Howard French Toast Flight You get four mini-pieces of flavored french toast, which could be anything from a dense red velvet cake with cream cheese drizzle or caramelized banana foster with brown sugar and cinnamon. Be prepared to roll with whatever the chef is feeling since you can’t pick your flavors. But trust that they will be gorgeously plated (with a decorative flower and a swirly dollop of velvety whipped cream in the middle) and delicious. Potatoes You can tell a lot about a brunch spot by their potato game. Here, they’re a winner. You get new potatoes halved and crisp-edged, covered in herby seasoning. photo credit: Amy Sinclair Chicken & Waffles The chicken fingers you get with this dish are so crispy and flavorful you could order them as a standalone. But the waffles are light, fluffy and slightly sweet, even without syrup, so why would you do that? Blood Orange Margarita You could start your car with this margarita. You might want to flag down the waiter for some extra juice, unless your plan is to Bankhead bounce your way out the door." - Jacinta Howard

This place is such a gem! Went this past Sunday for brunch and took a chance without having a reservation. Don't do this! The wait without a reservation was 2 hours. Luckily we were able to get some seats at the bar and these were the best seats in the house! The food was immaculate. The blueberry lemon cake French toast is 10000000/10. We also tried the fish and grits and shrimp and grits. Both were very tasty. Our bartender was so attentive. The staff was phenomenal. Even though they were booked and busy, I feel like our service was not affected. The atmosphere was very much grown and elevated. No loud music, smoke, or people jumping on the furniture. A mature crowd and elevated experience is what you will receive here. 10/10

Absolutely amazing time that flavor Ridge in Midtown Atlanta. I would go to this place every day if I could. David, the bartender was absolutely amazing and the white staff was very charming. The food was delicious and I highly recommend this place to anybody. No matter how long the wait, is it worth it! And Adrianna was absolutely beautiful and charming

This Sunday I got the chance to experience Flavor Rich and I see what everyone is raving about online, the food was AMAZING! We came with a large party of about 15 and not one person had a complaint about their food which is rare for my picky family members lol. But, Flavor Rich had tons of rules so make sure you are aware before going. First thing, the parking is $5 in the lot next door and they boot cars, AGGRESSIVELY. Please make sure you pay the $5 or pay $75 in boot fees. They also do not split checks. I don’t know if they didn’t split because we were such a large party, or if they just don’t split checks at all, but be prepared to pay all together. Also, there is a 4% processing fee for all credit cards. If you want to avoid the additional fee, bring cash! Lastly, they gave us a time limit of 1 hour to eat and get out lol. They close at 4 or 4:30pm and they are really busy with lots of reservations so to accommodate everyone, there’s a time limit. One more thing, there are no modifications on the menu. Everything is served the way it’s described on the menu. You can not add or take away anything from the entrees unless you would like to replace pork with turkey. But the food was delicious! I had the French toast with a side of eggs and it was probably the best French toast I’ve had in years. My friends had shrimp and grits and shrimp and waffles and everything was seasoned to perfection. The plate presentation was beautiful for every entree. For the prices, I would have thought that the drinks would have been presented just as well as the food was. But, for a $7 pineapple lemonade, it came in a to go cup with lid. I had a $6 club soda which came in a bottle with no glass or cup on the side. When the server brought salt and pepper to the table, it was served in plastic ramekins for the table to share. Which I thought was a little unsanitary and tacky. Overall, I would definitely go back but NOT with a large party and I would probably sit at the bar area. Also, they do play music. It’s more like R&B vibes which I love but the music was entirely too loud. You couldn’t even hear yourself talk to the people who you came to dine with.

I came to finish my bday weekend for brunch. Everything was so good !!!!!! I had to leave before they could do my bday cake but the brunch was a whole vibe and great experience. Make sure you either reserve a table or make reservations before hand . This place is SUPER BUSY. The staff is very entertaining and friendly and they even had Aubrey the Magician of God. Amazing experience all the way around.

Hands down one of the best places to eat and vibe in Atlanta. The food was AMAZING! The service, superb. The chef came out and talked to us, attitude, presence, skills, all on POINT. You get more than enough food considering the price point and it’s just a vibe. I’m obsessed!!!

I'm convinced black-owned restaurants love losing customers! We stopped by Flavor Rich when they first opened and it was phenomenal! Excellent food, excellent customer service, and none of those ridiculous "black business rules" that seem to be popular in Atlanta 😒. So, today, I decided to stop by for my birthday brunch and let me tell you...THEY'VE CHANGED FOR THE WORST! You can tell they're trying to charge their customers the most money while using cheaper food/products. The $50 steak and eggs was HUGE the first time I got it; it was so big I split it with my sister and both of us were full. Today, the steak was 1/3 of the original size. And the yummy egg whites I had last time tasted like box egg whites today. Don't get me wrong, the food was still REALLY good but they've lost their mind with their ridiculous new rules 🙄: 1) An extra 4% charge if you use a credit card. They'll call it a "delivery fee" and they'll automatically put it on your bill without asking. We used cash so she had to remove it! 2) They only offer cheap bottled water for $3. They tore the wrapper off but you can tell it's the cheap, walmart bottled water. (Or maybe I could tell because I drink a lot of water and have tried most bottled waters.) 3) They automatically add 20% gratuity for 4+ people or if your bill is over $100. I usually tip 20%-30% but eating there was SUCH a hassle (**see #4**). I was so annoyed by the time I got my check! I see why they add gratuity, as our server would have gotten much less than 20% 4) AND THE DUMBEST RULE: No substitutions! I can understand if they don't want to deal with swapping toast for bagels, or grits for potatoes, etc...but they won't even allow you to remove food you don't eat! For example, my mom doesn't eat onions so she ordered the burger without onions and the server said she wasn't allowed to remove the onions. UM...WHAT!?? So I asked the server the reason for this rule, and she said when it's busy it becomes too confusing for the kitchen / chef to keep up with how people order their food. Ummmm, if the "chef" can't even remove onions from a burger I'm convinced he's not a chef. Like, who trained you!?? RIDICULOUS! They also didn't have any hot sauce and the 1-ply toilet paper in the bathroom was the cheapest toilet money can buy. ‼️ That said, my server was very friendly and professional! Both times I've gone, the servers have been excellent. I kind of feel bad for them though, as they have to enforce those ridiculous rules--which makes for an unpleasant dining experience because customers get frustrated--but our server handled all of my questions with a great attitude and a smile on her face. EDIT: I changed the 3-star service review to 4-stars because our server has no control over the rules. Lastly, between the good food, friendly servers, and aesthetically pleasing interior, this place gets 3-stars instead of 1-star. This would definitely be a 5-star review if they didn't have all of those ridiculous rules.

Today I visited one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. It was a trifecta in the sense of atmosphere, customer service and taste. I am not usually a French toast person at all. However, I decided to eat at this location because of the Georgia peach cobbler French toast. Initially, I was concerned because they do not like to allow people to make modifications to their order. So I ordered exactly something that I can eat in totality. My server was totally nice as soon as I entered. She constantly kept checking up on me and, her comment tone and supportive voice enhanced my experience. Then there was my meal, which was warm and tasty the entire time, from start to finish. I cannot say enough about this restaurant. I MUST return when I’m in this area again.

Flavor Rich lives up to the name!! The food is seasoned to perfection! A little info from the website. This company started as a food truck back in 2018. They opened their first Brick and Mortar in 2020. Today they have 3 brick and Mortar locations (Atlanta, Suwannee, and San Antonio, TX). The website does provide details on very important need to know before you go info as follows: 1. They do NOT split checks 2. A 4% fee is addd to all checks that pay with a credit card 3. You can NOT make any modifications to the menu items 4. You can NOT return an item because you do not like it. 5. All checks greater than $100 and parties of 4 or more WILL include a 20% gratuity on the bill. A few items not noted, but should be known ahead of time: 1. They have a parking lot. The cost is $5.90 for 2 hours 2. There is an hour limit on your dinning table 3. If you make a reservation they immediately charge your card $5 per person. This payment will be applied to your bill. ( this was not done automatically for our party- we had to request it) The experience: I made a reservation for a party of 4 on a Friday for Sunday at 12:30pm. We arrived right on time and were seated as soon as we checked in. Our wait staff was a little delayed in coming to our table. It took about 15 minutes to be greeted by the wait staff. She went over all the rules I noted above! Since she took a minute to arrive we were ready to order when she arrived. They do not have paper menus. You simply use your phone to scan a QR code for the menu. Of note, they do not offer free water. They will sell you a bottle for $3. My party of 4 ordered 2 fish and grits, 2 chicken and waffles, a side of vanilla waffles, 1 coffee, and 1 bottle of water. I personally ordered the fish and grits. I asked for my salmon to be cooked medium rare. I was told that it would be noted, but there is no guarantee that my request would be accommodated. To my surprise the food took a while to come out! I was certain that nothing was being prepared to order given the statement that my request for medium rare salmon may not be accommodated. The food tastes amazing! I just have to give credit where credit is due. The salmon and grits were full of flavor. The waffles were accompanied by fresh fruit that looked amazing, powdered sugar, butter and syrup- they too tasted great. My friends that had the chicken and waffles enjoyed their meals too! Overall- food gets 10 stars! The chef is killing it! Service is good, but could be a little more attentive. The ambiance is nice! I loved all the art work of artist. I say if you plan accordingly, by car pooling, and paying in cash it’s a win! Just be sure to understand all the rules before you commit to going!

Yelp
Everything was excellent, came out 10 minutes after we ordered. Food was delicious, environment was very nice and comfortable. Our waitress was very nice and helpful! 10/10 will be back soon! Definitely recommend trying their strawberry lemonade!

Yelp
O.M.G! where do I start!? The restaurant is small but very clean. I wouldn't recommend for large parties. I went Saturday around noon and it was a 2hr wait. We were able to get a seat at the bar after about 20min. The mimosas were very good. The tropical mimosa was my favorite. I ordered lobster bites to start and they had to be seasoned by my ancestors. SO GOOD. The jumbo prawns were also outstanding. For my entree I ordered the Peach Cobbler French Toast. It was plated beautifully & tasted amazing. I didn't even need the syrup. It was a little pricey. For 1 drink 1 app and entree, my tab was right under $100.

Yelp
Finally found a restaurant that was not only beautiful, but had flavors to make everything worth it! Service was great and waitress explained the process, the menu items, and the specials... word of advice- TRY THE SPECIALS. The food was amazing! No need to ask for any substitutions. It's hard to find good food in Atlanta, but this spot definitely has been the best. If you have guests in town, or even when you want great food, this is the only spot in the city to go!

Lorrie W.

Yelp
The server was very attentive. She outlined the rules. The restaurant was clean and had a chic vibe going. The food was the star of the show. Everything was seasoned well. The fried fish was a tad bit salty for our taste. The eggs were amazing. The fried shrimp and chicken were delicious. The bacon cheeseburger was delectable! The drinks were on point! A must visit!!!!

Yelp
This place is a gem!!! I had brunch with an old friend and she suggested this place. We were seated immediately. They have paid parking on the side of the building. The waitress was so helpful and gave us all the deets on each dish!! The Brussels sprouts were so yummy! Everything was so well seasoned! I had to speak to the chef because I was so impressed! The place is a nice vibe very chill. Had music playing. Will definitely go again!

Yelp
Paid parking is all that is available in the area. I paid $5 for 2 hours of parking. They have Hip-hop paintings all around the venue. It gives a nice vibe. Staff is nice and very friendly. Bathrooms are all 1 stall and had a ton of thought put into it. There are plastic flowers and vines trimming the walls. They have this salt soap substance for washing your hands. This place is extremely clean. The table has a QR code so you can pull up the menu. They give you gold cutlery. The table also has a rose sitting in a glass to make the place fancy. First time, I ordered the Pineapple Lemonade and Red Velvet French Toast. The lemonade has free refills and it is extremely sweet. I should have gotten a glass of water to cut down on some of the sweetness. The Red Velvet French Toast is a huge entree. I could not eat it all. It is definitely there most popular dish. Three thick slices of French toast covered in red velvet crumbles, candied pecans, and icing. Side of whip cream and syrup takes this over the top. Second time, I ordered the Georgia Peach Cobbler French Toast with Black Cherry Lemonade. The Lemonade tasted great and had decorative flower petals in the cup. The french toast had whip cream, strawberries, and peaches. It tasted amazing. My bill was a little weird. I got a 4% upcharge that says delivery but it is the Credit Card fee. I knew about the CC few since it is posted on their menu. I do not know why their tax rate is 12% when it should be closer to 8%. I can afford an insignificant 4% but what it is? I am sure they have their reasons but Atlanta receipts are always nickel and diming you.

Yelp
Dined here at a friend's suggestion, and it did not disappoint! Arrived about noon and paid $5.60 for 2 hour parking (Wednesday). They were not crowded at all so the timing was perfect. The ambiance was amazing although a bit cramped. I would definitely recommend!

Yelp
The omelet was the star of the show even though the Instagram options won the looks portion of the meal . The omelet was just perfectly cooked and all the veggies came together nicely when paired with the side of toast . It also came with grits which was phenomenal ! Easily , it was the best breakfast option I tried. The not so memorable options were the peach cobbler French toast ( way too dense bread and just, heavy ! The flavor was one I felt was made for someone very young or someone with a sweet tooth... of which I'm neither . I also tried their chicken and waffles and the waffles although light , was kinda raw in the middle. The chicken itself was very crunchy but missed the mark on other counts particularly the seasonings . ( ABC destroys them in this comparable entree) . Finally , flavor rich did not even have orange juice at noon on a very calm low traffic weekday which was disappointing . It's also a shame and disappointing how the facade of this restaurant is . I couldn't believe the difference from the outside and the inside not only from an attractive standpoint but also a cleanliness standpoint. The owner should invest in the outside of the building because I walked right doubting this was actually the restaurant . It is definitely not a place where you'll impress a date atleast until he or she enters . I say all of this to say that , although I likely won't return it might suit some. consumer beware!

Yelp
Black owned restaurants in Atlanta , as I first walked in I was presented with a modern decor of beauty and Instagram worthy dishes and drinks. My family and I went on Sunday for brunch . The vibe of this establishment is the vibe you're looking for on a Sunday with mimosas. This is by far my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. The food and service didn't disappoint, I order the crawfish and grits ,which had numerous amount of lightly fried crawfish on top of cheese grits. Just like the name it was Rich in flavor haha!!..

Yelp
Yoooo... this place is definitely a hidden , certainly a vibe. Will return, the paintings on the wall, the service and food yeah certainly will return. The music was a wave, not too loud neither so you can hold a conversation also. Good was delicious.. I was pleasantly impressed, thank you

Natasha S.

Yelp
The service was best! Our waiter suggested great options and was on point with the recommendations. Our table ordered the shrimp and grits, lobster roll and Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts were phenomenal! The lobster roll was good but a little salty for taste ( personal preference). The shrimp and grits were great. The shrimp was seasoned well and the grits were prefect and savory. We noticed the blueberry toast... they looked like art, and were large portion sizes! The bathrooms are decorated nicely and were clean. An added touch: sugar scrub bowl in the restroom. Side Bar: The space between seating and the bar was a little tight. We arrived early so the restaurant not busy and felt spacious. I will definitely visit again to try the French toast, with peaches because it's Georgia!

Charisse H.

Yelp
Good food, nice atmosphere. Just very crowded unfortunately. Service was good, friendly staff.

Yelp
In from out of town and needed food nearby. Searched Yelp. This place was highly rated, pictures of the food looked like what i was tasting. Found that it was a 3 min walk. Its friday ~130p and this place didn't have an empty seat! I was confused for a min thinking this was Saturday brunch back at home. As we watch other people's plates float by, i wanted to sample Every.Thing. on the menu. We order, the food comes out in reasonable time, their pineapple lemonade was delicious. The plate presentation was scrumptious and the food itself divine. The only feedback I could give is 1. to offer if you want home fries or shrimp n waffles spicy or not. My system can't handle any spicy food. So I will let my family try it. 2. I appreciate the table spacing. I hate when they smash the tables so close you can't walk through only to get more bodies/wallets in the door. (I would wait just to have more space). Finally, we already made reservations for tomorrow for more family members. I hope the service, ambiance, and food will be the same as today.

Rae J.

Yelp
My husband went and brought me some leftovers but I still had to write a review.... I got a plain waffle and I'm still dreaming about it. They have so many other flavors that I can't wait to try! Also the Brussel sprouts and marinade they were in were delicious!!!

Danielle W.

Yelp
Breakfast anyone???!!!! If you haven't tried @flavorrichrestaurant you're missing out for sure. Not only is this restaurant aesthetically pleasing, but the food is great as well. You heard it from @mr.chimetime himself ! The red velvet French toast is most definitely chef's kiss and I liked that it wasn't overly sweet! The fish and crawfish over grits was also good, because the fish was fried to perfection. Grits could have used more flavor! The mimosa's here were amazing as well! Definetly bring your man, your girl, your momma, or your bestie here for a brunch date. Reservations highly recommended. Weekends are busy! They have 2 locations. One in Suwannee & one in midtown

Brittany G.

Yelp
The restaurant had a great vibe. The music was on point and the food was even better. Service was fast and our waitress was amazing!

J. H.

Yelp
The food quality is high. The servers were friendly. Bathrooms are very clean. Nice interior decor. Parking may be an issue for some people. Gratuity is automatically included for parties of 4+. My only criticism is the drinks from the bar. Quality of our drinks was not that good and way overpriced.

Kesha W.

Yelp
Food was bomb! Our waitress Adrianna had a great vibe and was very pleasant. The place itself had a nice ring to it and our food came out pretty fast. But FYI if you have any allergies they DO NOT substitute anything on their menu so order accordingly. They also add gratuity and a credit card fee and another fee if I'm not mistaken. Parking is paid parking and we paid $5.40 for 2hours. We got there on a Saturday an hour before they were set to close and got seated in about 15/20 mins.

Yelp
Being a splendid chap as per... I felt a lovely brunch with my wife this AM was in order. We chose to put on the old feed bag at "Flavor Rich Restaurant" in downtown Atlanta. We could not have been more pleased--All was wonderfully prepared and indeed flavor rich. Good service, kind and attentive staff... I can't say enough good about the experience. So, if you are in Atlanta and feeling brunchy, do find your way to Flavor Rich and dig in! Cheers!

Yelp
Oh boy!!! What a gem!!!! After grabbing my guy from the airport, we decided to stop in for brunch, and Yelp directed us to this location, which is so funny because I tried the location in Suwanee about a year ago. All good reviews. There was no wait so we were seated right away upon entering the restaurant. I ended up getting the fish and potatoes breakfast plate. My date ended up ordering the French toast which he didn't get an opportunity to really enjoy because I was eating off of his plate the entire time , the French toast is amazing!!!! We also had mimosas, All very good! The place is a more grown-up version of the location in Suwanee. It gives you a more adult vibe. The music was great. It wasn't so loud that it overpowered our conversations. The seating was really really nice. My only complaint is that it was a little warm. We have decided to come back this Sunday and bring family.

Kim B.

Yelp
What in the world! This sweet little place is magical and mystical. We were staying at The Georgian Terrace Hotel and used our Yelp app to find this little jewel. The Georgia peach French toast was out of this world and we decided to have the chicken and waffles as an added entrée. It did not disappoint. Our waitress gave us amazing service and served us hot fresh coffee, right away! We ate every single bite and enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. We felt like we had stepped into Pandora's box because the front door is very unassuming, then, you walk in, and it feels like you stepped into a magical gathering spot, for a moment. We are looking forward to coming back again when in Atlanta.

Tiffani J.

Yelp
Five stars for food, service, and ambiance!!! I went on Sunday for brunch. The food is so fresh. We ordered the crab cake, shrimp and grits, and steak and eggs. The steak was cooked perfectly. The grits melt in your mouth. The sauce on the shrimp has a scampi flavor but not overpowering.

Jacinta J.

Yelp
I recently had breakfast at Flavor Rich in Atlanta, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. For my meal, I ordered the Fish & Grits, which consisted of blackened salmon served over creamy grits with sautéed spinach, cipollini onions, and cherry tomatoes. The dish was beautifully topped with a crawfish and lobster cream sauce that perfectly complemented the salmon's flavor. Each bite was a delightful blend of textures and tastes, making it a truly memorable dish. My husband opted for the 24K Chicken and Waffles. This dish featured fried chicken atop a vanilla bean waffle dusted with powdered sugar and topped with 24k gold flakes and brown sugar butter. The combination of the crispy, flavorful chicken and the sweet, delicate waffle was divine. The 24k gold flakes added a touch of luxury to an already outstanding dish. Our daughter decided on the Wagyu Bacon Cheeseburger. This 8 oz wagyu beef burger was topped with applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, caramelized onions, bread & butter pickles, and the chef's special sauce, all served on a brioche bun with a side of French fries. The burger was juicy and packed with flavor, and the combination of toppings made each bite satisfying and delicious. We all enjoyed the house-made pineapple lemonade, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The service was wonderful; our waitress was attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our meal. The decor of Flavor Rich is also worth mentioning, with its stylish and comfortable ambiance creating a perfect setting for a delightful breakfast. Overall, our breakfast at Flavor Rich was an exceptional experience, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a delicious meal in Atlanta.

Yelp
Stayed next door and was starving upon arrival so we went here for brunch. Looks like the typical brunch turn up spot with grass walls and whatnot. The food was pretty good but the service was a little slow. They weren't extremely busy so I'm guessing they were short staffed that day

Awesome spot. Very clean and modern ambience. The whole staff was very friendly and welcoming. Most important, the food was outstanding! Must try spot if you are in the area.

Yelp
Great atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Lively staff, great spirits, super contagious vibe in there. You can't help but enjoy yourself... And that's all before you even taste the food.... it was all Superb.. Simple as that.

Yelp
Whewwwww this is a brunch spot!!!! I rarely get excited about breakfast food but THIS was something!! The fish was fried to perfection with the most crunchification known to man! Yes, I just made a word up. The cheese eggs were literally the best I have ever had! And the side sauces just took it to the next level. WOW. I love this place and will run back next time I'm in Atlanta.

Yelp
Picked up a to go order because I was heading to a meeting and couldn't seem to find them on uber eats nor DoorDash and their website ordering didn't work correctly so I called in and Christie saved the day! They don't normally take orders over the phone and I was in a rush and she took the order and allowed me to pay at the bar when I picked up! 5 !!!! I was in such a rush I forgot to take pics of the food but it was quite possibly the BEST brunch I've had in LIFE! Red velvet French toast, chicken and waffles, fish and grits... ALL TOP TIER!!!! I will be back!!!!!

Yelp
I was first introduced to the Flavor Rich Food Truck at the One Music Fest back in 2019. There was a long line and when I saw Big Tigger with about four togo boxes, I knew there was something to this food. So I stood in line for about 20 minutes and to my surprise the Lobster Roll was by far the best I had ever had. So good in fact that I went back three more times over the course of the festival. Yeah I know, big back behavior. But I don't care.lol. Then I went on a hunt to find their Suwanee location and met the chef. I was so pleasantly pleased with the entire experience but it was so far away that I had given up hope. BUT when I say the Lord will answer your prayers...Imagine my delight when I discovered their newest location in the heart of downtown Atlanta. I of course ordered the coveted Lobster Roll but also had the pleasure of discovering my new favorite breakfast dish, the French Toast Flight. It had a Blueberry, Bananas Foster, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and my all time fave Red Velvet flavors. They are all so so delicious and is easy to share with with the table if you don't want to look greedy but I don't recommend too much sharing because your tastebuds will yearn for more. And I'm also delighted to know they serve cocktails and mocktails, which really help to enhance the experience. I got the EMPRESS ME with Empress Indigo gin , honey lavender simple syrup, and fresh lime juice topped with prosecco. Listen...this is right up my alley. If you are a bourgeois foodie like myself then you understand the necessity for bourgeois libation and honey does this deliver. I loved it so much that I have ordered the lavender cocktail syrup for the house. Oh, and the music wasn't too loud so I could hear what the people at the table were saying. If you go to brunch in Atlanta then you know what I mean. Everyone doesn't go to brunch for the club...some of us actually go to enjoy the food and fellowship! Listen, if you want a great brunch dining experience you cannot go wrong with Flavor Rich. It's jam packed with good food and really good quality customer service!!!

Yelp
Flavor Rich Restaurant is truly an immaculate restaurant. Immediately upon entering you're greeted by the host stand and a well curated restaurant. Please note during busy times you will be limited to a 1 hour dining window as shown in the photos. However the food comes out very quickly and is hot in amazing. Price wise too they very affordable for their portions. I ordered the cucumber mint lemonade and it came garnished with cucumber and had fresh mint in it too it was very good. For food I order the fried chicken tacos, mac and cheese, and truffle fries. Everything was amazing and of course I had leftovers. The fried chicken tacos, were three tacos each stuffed with an entire chicken tender too. The mac and cheese was super flavorful and cheesey too. The truffle fries were hands down one of favorites and the aioli it came with was delicious. The food and experience is fully 5 stars however they only offer bottled water and it's $3 a bottle which is a little outrageous. Nonetheless the overall food and service fully makes up for the gap it's simply something to note. There's plenty of parking near too but make sure you pay or you'll be booted. I will be back, and highly recommend them.

Yelp
Today, I dined at the Atlanta location. For me it was a 10 out of 10 from the beginning to the end. On 3/15/24 the Health Score is 100 = A The staff was extremely welcoming and the Owner & Chef Chris was in the building and welcomed us even more. The food presentation was extremely beautiful and delicious. See photos. The ambiance was busy but very organized. I had no complaints and I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to my family and friends. It's definitely worth it.

Yelp
Food was really good as all the other reviews have stated. Service was good as well. The only thing I would recommend is NOT go on a Sunday. Other than that, you will likely enjoy your experience.

Yelp
I was beyond pleasantly surprised with this restaurant experience. First, there is attached parking for a nominal fee. Had a reservation and was seated within 10 min of the scheduled time. Vibe was lively, but not overly party and you could actually hear yourself talk over the music. Server was extremely pleasant and friendly and happy to give advice on the menu. Cocktails came out fast, correct and made very well. The blueberry lemon cake French toast is a mix between breakfast and dessert, but is a must try if you like lemon pound cake. Standout was the crawfish and crab Mac and cheese, oh my! Really well prepared Mac with actual lump crab and crawfish. Seriously worth suffering through my dairy intolerance for, lol. Unlike many places in Atlanta, the value matched the price point and I would happily return here.

Yelp
Today we were going to go to West Egg but maps kept taking us in circles. So we yelped best brunch near us and found ourselves at Flavor Rich. Best brunch indeed. Interestingly we had been walking midtown a few weeks ago and I needed to use the restroom. I asked inside Flavor Rich and they said yes. I told Tyrone that someday we would need to go there. The service was excellent as was the food. The shrimp and grits were spectacular. The andouille sausage added a nice kick of spice while the tomatoes, peppers and spinach not only added flavor but wonderful color. Tyrone went with the basic scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and grits. Everything was hot. Next time we will try the chicken and waffles which looked great as did their many varieties of French Toast. They have a 100 health score posted and given where we sat we can confirm that cleanliness is important to this restaurant owner. If I had one complaint it was paying for bottled water. We should have asked if tap water was an option. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Restaurant will NOT split checks. Although it automatically adds 20% gratuity, it's actually shorting the tip potential of the servers. Food is amazing everything is on point. Bottled water (at a cost) and other bottled beverages are available. Parking on the side is reasonable. Table limit when restaurant is busy. Dinner hours end extremely early so doubt I will ever catch that.

Yelp
Parking next to building. Reservations is an option, however was not a long wait without. The service, food, and ambiance were excellent.

Yelp
I got the Red Velvet French toast, side of Grits. Delicious. The service by CC was just as good as she looked. Perfect. Clean spot with friendly atmosphere. Inexpensive food and sides, but the taste was immaculate.

Yelp
Been to both locations and both have been 5 on the food...everything not only looks good but it tasted great! Food came out hot and as pretty as a picture!...service was fast and our server was attentive enough without overdoing it!

Yelp
We stopped here for lunch and were greeted and offered a table quickly. Our server, Ari, was very sweet and friendly and had our drink order to us quickly. I had a tropical Mimosa which was perfect. We ordered the chicken tacos, truffle fries, chicken and waffles and the blueberry crumble french toast special. The restaurant has a cool vibe with eclectic art & furniture and R&B music. We left full & happy and will definitely be back.

Yelp
Food was excellent! Beginning with the perfectly fried and seasoned fish to the beautifully crispy seasoned potatoes. Also we had quite possibly the best French toast(peach cobbler)we've ever eaten. My main dish was the truffle butter bone-in ribeye steak which was super delicious cooked perfectly medium rare like I asked. The wait staff was extremely helpful and kind with great service and very knowledgeable and honest. The atmosphere was a mixture of all walks of life and had great energy. I will be back again and again. This place is phenomenal.

Yelp
Amazing service from the staff. Everyone who walks in gets greeted like family. Our server was smiley and introduced us to the menu since 3/4 of us never dined at flavor rich before. This located is also very close to the Emory hospital. I liked everything we ordered especially the steak and eggs. I believe this is prob the best brunch spot here in ATL.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! Probably one of the best meals I've ever had in my entire life! Such incredible service and I adored the overall energy of the place. The food was phenomenal. A perfect blend of richness and spice with so much flavor. "Flavor rich" is the perfect name. The fries were so amazing! The macaroni was also superb and the shrimp and grits was a must-have. I'm sure everything on their menu is amazing!

Yelp
Wow! Awesome in every way. Smaller restaurant with modern chic decor. Chicken tacos were outstanding, crispy juicy fried chicken tenders with toppings made for wonderful flavor combination. Also had chicken and waffles and French toast with peaches, both equally excellent. Portions are substantial and shareable. Good coffee also. Super friendly and efficient service from Chrissy with a K :) This place is a home run!

Yelp
Amazing! Food out to our table within 8-10 min. Delicious, and presented beautifully. Full bar available. Definitely worth my money.

Yelp
After hearing about it for months, we decided to check it out. And what can I say the food was excellent. I ordered the French toast with scrambled eggs. And she had the catfish with scrambled eggs and potatoes. My only negative comment is the potatoes were a little oily .Pretty nice looking spot. Cool decorations, and music. And our server was very polite, nice and definitely helpful. She came by and checked on us numerous times during our stay. Can't wait to go back. It was definitely a great eating experience..
