Fletcher's Restaurant

My husband and I went to Fletchers tonight for our wedding anniversary and the only way to describe our meal is incredible! The food was simply divine and the service was fantastic. They went out of their way to make our evening special. We could hardly believe how reasonable the bill was at the end of the evening. We will definitely be going back again soon.

Excellent food and great service! My only criticism was that the interior decor was a little dull and unimaginative. We sampled a starter and a main from the 2 course for £28 menu, i felt was very reasonably priced for the quility of food. For starter we had the the braised beef, confit leek, egg yolk gel truffel and chedder foam with sour dough bread. For our main we had the pan fried stone seabass, served with creamy mash, mussels in a white wine sauce, batter tuile and roast spring onions. Both were amazing and judging by what we experienced this time, we will definitely be returning to sample the taster menu which looked magnificent.

I attended Fletcher's on a Wednesday evening with a colleague whilst visiting Plymouth. The food was absolutely exceptional and service was also top notch. By far one of the best meals we have both had in a very long time.

We recently celebrated our wedding anniversary at Fletcher’s Restaurant, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. We chose the taster menu, and every single course was beautifully presented and delicious. The attention to detail was exceptional — thoughtful combinations, perfectly balanced flavours, and some genuinely standout elements. In particular, the butternut squash velouté served with sourdough bread, whipped butter, and rosemary honey was fabulous. The rhubarb soufflé with cardamom ice cream was equally outstanding. The venison and fish courses were both cooked to perfection, showcasing the quality produce and skill in the kitchen. Throughout the evening, the service was consistently friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable without ever feeling intrusive. Dining here was a true pleasure and a wonderful way to mark our anniversary. Five stars!

We had the pleasure of dining at this incredible restaurant and opted for the tasting menu, and what an unforgettable choice that was. Every single dish was to die for, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The creativity and attention to detail in each course were truly impressive. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, and the balance of textures and flavors showed real culinary mastery. It’s clear the chefs pour passion into every plate. Equally worth mentioning is the value, the quality of the food and the overall experience were more than worth the price. For a fine dining experience of this caliber, the pricing felt very reasonable. From the ambiance to the impeccable service and, most importantly, the phenomenal food, this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. Highly recommended, we will absolutely be returning!

Second time here but first time to sample the pre- theatre menu. Although only 2 choices per course the dishes available all sounded great. Both of us had the cheek starter which one of the best starter I've had for a long time. I had the hake and my wife the chicken for our main course, both very tasty and presented well. Will now be monitoring the pre theatre menu for its next change.

A simply devine dining experience with wonderful staff, and incredibly skilled cuisine. We shall definitely be back. Thank you to Jess and Faron for top service in particular who made my partners birthday that extra bit special.

Me and my girlfriend went for our anniversary. We'd been looking forward to it for ages and we weren't dissapointed. The food was amazing, the drinks were delicious(they didn't have any whisky so the barman made me an incredible Rum Old Fashioned: might be my new favourite cocktail!) and the staff were lovely. It's a pricey place but it's worth every penny. Go if you can!
