I love this place. It is truly a local gem. Each time I come, it feels like reuniting with family. Kim and Andy are splendid hosts. It is a nice and intimate atmosphere, with definite "Cheers" vibes where everyone knows your name. Kim's French onion flatbread is the best around, and is even better than some of the other French onion soup pizzas that I have tried recently. I am not well versed in wine, however the friendly service does not allow you to be intimidated by the selection. They have many tasting events which allow you to learn more about the eclectic wine selections they have. There are no big box wines here, they are focused on growers vineyards, which just adds to the "shop local" charm.

Since moving to the Shores, I’ve met all my friends at Flight Wine Bar. It has truly become a community hub where wonderful memories are made. Why have I not been to this place before? Nesttled in the small city center of Miami shores, they have been open for over 6 years and only today did I finally choose this place to meet a friend sommelier (good call on my part!) The atmosphere was friendly, with clients that seemed to be regular locals. Nothing stuffy or intimidating, just a really nice couple owners that are absolute wine (and i would add) life lovers! They have crafted an original wine list coming from small producers from around the world. Perfect to discover delectable high-quality wines at an affordable price. Kim exudes passion when she presents you her wines, which makes them even more delectable! They offer an ample palette that includes Natural and Biodynamic wines, creating a very approachable experience for the newbies and a surprising offering for the connoisseurs: Nice found!

This place is a gem in the heart of Miami Shores. The owners are great and know their wine. They also have a great food.

I went with family and the workers were welcoming. I wish the music was a little louder though because it was very quiet and I could hear others speaking. The waitress made great recommendations and they offered wine flights. We tried both sweet white wines and dry reds that were fantastic. This is a cute spot to stop at after seeing a show at the theatre that is across the street. I would return!

Spent Saturday evening enjoying wine and snacks at Flight Wine Lounge & Shop. Ordered a Syrah-Grenache Blend to drink and for food shared a Small Plate and the Smoked Fish Dip. Quality Flight Wine Lounge & Shop is a fun little wine bar that really epitomizes the Miami Shores style. Laid-back, yet stylish. With a wine list of about fifty as well as a couple of beers, it has something that every guest will enjoy. They also have a simple food menu offering Small Plates of charcuterie and cheese or a selection of savory pies. We constructed a Small Plate with Pate, several Cheeses, Olives, and Marcona Almonds. They added bread, grapes, and jam, to create a beautiful array. I was happy with all the items on the plate and only wished I opted for some of the charcuterie to add additional richness. On special they also had a Smoked Fish Dip, which we decided to order after finishing the Small Plate. It was okay, but not something I would order again. I liked the addition of pickles to add some life, but the fish itself was just very overwhelming. Quantity I felt the Small Plate we constructed was perfect as a treat with our wine. I would not come in expecting to have a full meal, but rather just accompaniments for your drinks. Value The prices were reasonable, with the majority of bottles under $60. In terms of food, the construction of a Small Plate is on the guest, but each meat or cheese selection is $8. Ambiance Flight Wine Lounge & Shop is found in Miami Shores. On the quaint main stretch of NE 2nd Avenue, the bar sits in a row of shops. When you enter the shop, immediately on the left is a small lounge area. With several comfortable chairs and a couch, it is like a transported living room. Further in you find a bar on the right and then a row of tables along the left wall. Then towards the back is another small lounge area. The lighting is soft and small candles are placed at every table. A big window sits near the front providing a pretty view. In the background a gentle selection of jazz and pop traditional hits played. Some in English, some in Spanish, and some in French. One woman was set up at a table with a computer and a binder, so it can also function as a work space. Crowd When we arrived there were three other couples enjoying some drinks as well as one person set up with a computer and a glass of wine. It has a very laid back vibe so it is great for date night or even to get some work done. I assume it gets a little busier for tastings and events, but generally it is a relaxed atmosphere. Service The staff is extremely personable. They introduced themselves to each guest and made sure customers had everything they needed. Our waitress offered great suggestions and made sure to also give us some distance as we enjoyed our evening. Parking Miami Shores is a rarity in Miami as it does not charge for parking. We were easily able to find a street spot in front of the shop at no cost. Extra Flight Wine Lounge & Shop is a lovely little wine bar. With a nice selection of wine and food, as well as a tranquil environment, it is easy to lose track of time over drinks. Hopefully with time they continue to expand the menu and possibly consider some live music.

Call me spoiled but I'm very disappointed in the service. Was at the Hispanic Heritage celebration at Miami Shores and this place was the only place serving wine + beer. Decided to try their tempranillo. The pour was pretty conservative and paid $13 + tip. Now, I cannot say I am familiar with tempranillos, but it literally tasted and smelled like butt. Couldn't even drink it. Maybe that was my fault for trying something different in a place like this. However, most businesses will always try to make the customers happy, especially when they are trying to promote their venue. This was not the case. I asked if I could replace it with a different drink and the ladies' response was that there was nothing wrong with the tempranillo and went on to offer for me to buy something else. I'm sure that I paid for the full bottle or at least half of it with the one glass I purchased. Sadly won't be coming to this venue.

This wine bar is one of our favorite places!!! We go regularly for "dine-out" and to-go. The food is always delicious (the goat cheese peppers are especially good) and they always have wonderful new wines. They have even set up virtual wine tastings for us with friends, family, and co-workers as a bonding experience during the pandemic. Definitely a must-try for anyone who likes wine! And they always have an interesting beer selection for those non-wine-drinkers.

This is the second time I've had some wine at Flight Wine Lounge and I plan on returning very soon. If you are looking for great wines, friendly people and some great food, this place is for you. This is one the few places in south Florida we can get such a unique selection of wine....we even tried two grapes we had never had: Monica from Sardinia and Biancu Gentile from Corsica. There are obscure wines for serious wine drinkers but also plenty of everyday favorites. We arrived after the kitchen closed but nibbled on some marcona almonds. Last time I had an amazing charcuterie and cheese plate. Kim and Andy are amazing hosts and make you feel at home. I was excited to find out about their wine tastings and pop up dinners, and we plan to return for one of them.

Out favorite neighborhood spot, wine shop and lounge. From stocking up our home with boutique wines, to spending Friday nights with friends, Flight always delivers. They have delicious tapas, great wine/beer and an awesome vibe. They also have wine tastings once a month.

What a great find in the Miami Shores neighborhood. A great addition to the strip. The service and product were really great and we can't wait to make this our new spot.

I fully endorse supporting local businesses, especially when they make fish dip as good as flight Wine lounge. They have an eclectic selection of wine and beer, and they're knowledgeable, parking is easy, it's a great stop. I took their recommendation on a new rosé, and it was outstanding, great prices

Very good selection of wines. Great Tapas, the Manchego appetizer is amazing. Customer service with Kim and Alejandra is the best you will find anywhere. This place is EXACTLY what Miami Shores has needed for a long time.

An excellent Wine Bar in the heart of Miami Shores! This mom and pop store fits right in with the Shores small town vibe. Kim is engaging and friendly. She knows the wine scene! There is a nice selection of wines. Nothing average here. The beer selection is also decent and includes 2 draft beers on tap. They have a relaxing happy hour from 5pm to 7pm on Tues through Fri. They also host a multitude of events, which they keep updated on their website. The wine by the glass was a generous pour. The individual carafe the wine was served in was a nice touch that let's you know you are in a real wine bar. I had the Wine Flight allowing me to sample three wines that she picked for me based on my preferences. I like big reds and I was not disappointed. We came to drink so we only ordered olives. The olives were deliciously seasoned with garlic and lemon rind. Next time we will come hungry as I expect the rest of their small plates are equally tasty. Flight Wine Bar is heating up the reputation of the Miami Shores revitalized downtown!

Whether you are a wine connoisseur or just like to have an occasional glass of wine, Flight Wine Lounge is an amazing place! They offer a wonderful selection of incredible wines, not to mention, the owners Kim and Andy, are the nicest people you'll ever meet! Hands down one of the best discoveries here in Miami Shores! Great wine selection followed up with some outstanding meat and cheese charcuterie boards. Kim and her husband areoutstanding owners who also roll up their sleeves and do some very amazing work. Take a seat on the couch by the front window and enjoy some bites and a fantastic bottle of wine! They even do tastings and an LGBTQ night. Highly recommend so a date night or social gathering. Absolutely just fell in love with this place last night! Thank you Kim!

Downtown Miami Shores has a new spot where one can relax, kick back and leave your troubles at the door. Stopped into Flight Wine Lounge with a friend on a rainy Thursday evening assuming the place would be empty. Wrong. Miami Shores has discovered this gem, and with good reason. Delicious wine selections, craft beers, and a delectable, albeit limited, menu of small plates. The ambiance was relaxed yet elegant. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable but never makes you feel rushed (even when the place is packed). Will be heading back soon. Top notch!

Sometimes being an adult is not all it's cracked up to be. Other times. Well let's just say to be able to enjoy some nice wine in a nifty chill spot in downtown Miami Shores on Friday evening, adulting is fun, fun, fun. My husband and I had been monitoring the brown paper covering the windows for a while now and this past Friday our patience was rewarded! We usually hit up Lucio Coffee to Wine across the street on Friday nights, and Lucio let us know that Flight was open. It's truly terrific that neighboring businesses support one another in the Miami Shores area. My husband and I headed over and had some friends join us. Super vibe, comfortable, good music playing in background and (as wine is such a great unifier) lots of friendly faces. The place got pretty packed which is terrific for a new business. I enjoyed a $15 flight of wine from a very decent list of choices, as a matter of fact all five of us had different flights, so there really is something for everyone. They also have craft beers! We ordered a nicely presented charcuterie plate. I'm looking forward to trying their Art Pies which sound scrumptious. Big Kudos to Kim and Andy, wishing you much success and the nicest customers in the world. I'll be back, again and again, and again!

Be transported to another city, another world. I love Miami- even if it doesn't typically have places like this. Flight is where you go when you want to catch up with an old friend - or a new one - over a few hours of great conversation and inspiring flavors. Owners are present, available but not overbearing. Menu is small but they have clearly curated excellent and equally as interesting cheeses. There is something for the novice and the snob (and those of us comfortably in between) across every corner of their menu. It was fun to see Macedonian wines and some unabashedly extreme tasting wines on such a tight menu. My guest and I were impressed by the cheeses. The owners appreciate the importance of serving both food and wines at the appropriate temperature- on a mixed plate, this is particularly impressive. I really felt like I was in an old bar in an old city- from the quality of the food to the professionalism of the service. Decor is modern without feeling forced or cheap. You can tell the place was created and is managed with love and a curator's idea for detail. I look forward to going back.

What more could you ask for in a local wine bar? They have good wines, great service, and creative food plates. Since opening I have been continuously impressed with how much I like this place.

Great things come to those who wait! This is such a wonderful spot for a Friday evening glass of well chosen wine by a couple of worldly owners. As per suggestion I enjoyed a red from Macedonia and a white from Alsace. Along with some killer black truffle salami and manchego I was so very, very happy to have called the sitter. I can't wait to go back to try more wine ... and one of those handmade pies.

Overall great spot! Make sure to order some meats and cheeses with your wine. DELICIOUS choices. Beautiful atmosphere too. The owners are lovely and everyone is very friendly. We had a very nice time.

Amazing wine bar with a selection of artisanal wines and beers. Don't miss an opportunity to pair your wines with the charcuterie, cheese boards or Artpies that are to die for! The services is stupendous and the decor is lovely.

OK Miami. If you are looking for, a intricate, calm and snazzy night! This is the place to stop by and grab a drink! The owners are so sweet and laid back! They greet everyone with open arms and a glass of wine! Also you feel like you're in LA for one night. The Decor, the bathroom, and the Ambience is flawless! Usually stays open till 11. But as their business starts filling up they'll are willing to stay open late. Everyone who has stoped in this bar has been super sweet and there has not been any problems. If you were looking for a top notch bar to go to, for just one night. I suggest stopping by and saying hello to the owners and grabbing a glass of wine or beer. I am telling you Miami; you are missing out on a great place. If you do end up going tell them that Nazar sent you or John!!

My friend and I celebrated our birthdays with a Spanish wine tasting at Flight. The event was fabulous thanks to the attention to detail and customer orientation that Kim and Andy demonstrate in everything they do. We were welcome with beautiful Spanish decorations and music. We enjoyed a fantastic selection of wines and tapas and had fun learning more about trendier wine producers from different regions in Spain. Our guests loved the evening and were very impressed with the place. I highly recommend this type of private event at Flight to celebrate a special occasion with friends and family. Thank you Andy & Kim for a memorable celebration!

Great place to grab a glass of wine after work. The lounge has a great vibe, very low key, but they have an excellent selection of wines that constantly rotate. Their beer selection is very good as well. Can't say enough good things about this place, everyone is super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend Flight to anyone!

Great neighborhood gem to enjoy good wines and great beers. Options for food are a bit limited, but it is all about the good environment and enjoying your drink. I encourage everybody to pay them a visit and relax while you drink a great beer.

Friendly warm atmosphere with excellent food and neighborhood clientele. Art Basel celebration offered friends from afar and good entertainment. Waitress seemed in a bad mood, gave poor service. Needs to be replaced with a more friendly open person.

The owners have put a lot of time and care into not only the relaxing and chic decor & ambiance, but into the well-curated menu of wines, craft beers and tapas. Fantastic wine bar! We were looking for a casual spot to have some good wine and maybe a few snacks and found all of that at this place. From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with a smile and were provided amazing recommendations based on their menu. We shared our wine preferences and the male owner found the perfect bottle of wine for us. The charcuterie board was perfect, the ambiance was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. This was the exact type of environment we were looking for. Highly recommend this bar and cannot wait to visit again.

Another fun pre dinner stop at flight. Wine list continues to expand and tried a new one of their "art pies" basically a fancy empanada, this one filled with blue cheese and caramelized onion.
