We had an excellent tour with our guide Briana. Her knowledge, professionalism, and humour helped bring the prestigious Flor de Caña operation to life. We tasted a lot of rum. I was a little tipsy after this tour! :)

We were thankfully lucky enough to do the VIP tour, which I would recommend if you are able. The tastings were great, especially the barrel strength 37 year old that I would love to purchase if available. Two notes though. First, this tour does not include any of the distillation process, which is the heart of the operation. Having done many such tours in the past, this is the only one that entirely skipped the most important step. Second, we would have left with thousands of dollars in product if the prices had been reasonable. The special 30 year bottle is almost $900 more at the factory than ordering online in the States. The 25 year bottle is $100 less in the States from any regular store without the hassles of shipping or importation. They have a wonderful experience set up. They just need to capitalize on it.

So much fun! Lots of information on how the process of the Rum Flor de caña is done. Love it!

The VIP tour was very nice but not quite worth $100. If you want to taste special rums that you can't buy, it's just the thing. Otherwise I would recommend the normal tour. Unfortunately, you don't see the distillation process and bottling in either tour, which would have been the most important thing. The young lady giving the tour is lovely, but tries too hard to be professional. As a result, she lacks a bit of a laid-back attitude. Her English is very good and she is an asset to the company but: "Mas tranquilo porfa ;)" The company tries to be sustainable but gives us plastic cups. I know they are biodegradable but real glasses would still be much better.

Make the trip if you are a rum lover! We drove 7 hours round trip to visit from Granada and loved it. Lots of souvenirs and history. Even the town is nice but not designed for tourists. So polish up your Spanish or bring Google translate because no speaks English. Lots of fun by bus or to drive

This is my second year to visit the tour. Both years I have had Henry lead the tour. He’s amazing. The history of the business is very interesting and the facility is beautiful. This is worth a stop to enjoy and I hope you get Henry to lead your tour

This tour its a great experience they don't allow pictures taken in most places but it is worth it. The most interesting part of the tour is when you will appreciate the Rum with your 5 senses....yes 5. They start you with Smell, then you look and hear it then you look at it and finally you will pour some Rum in your hands and notice its not sticky that is when you know this Rum Is special.

We had the private your set up by a friend if mine. Was great to see the operation and hear about why Flor De Cana is different from most rum makers. Tasting a 32 year old rum from the barrel was an especially nice touch on the private tour. Well worth a visit.
