Flora Rooftop Bar and Lounge

I went here for the first time yesterday with my friend, we came for a few drinks after an event - the ambience was nice and it was very nice rooftop. Very quiet was OK. The reason why I'm giving this place one star is due to the mold found on top of the water pitcher they gave us. My friend had asked one of the servers about it and she said " oh, it just needs some additional attention, but it's clean" and does not clean it or give us a new one. Literal mold!!!!!!!!! needless to say, we did not drink the water - I was scared to drink my alcoholic beverage. I had ordered after that. Will not be coming back here again.

First time visiting this beautiful rooftop. We were greeted once we arrived, food was excellent we ordered fish tacos, pesto pizza, and the steak. ( although the steak was Bit disappointing) Service wad really terrible, they took long, food wait was long, and after we finished eating, the waitress offered us another drink and didn't bother to pick up our used up dishes which was disappointing. We had to stack them up. On a corner until once we asked for the bill, the waiter decided to take them. The food was excellent, steak was over cooked and the table next to us ordered the same plate and sent it back for the same issue. Other than that great ambiance and dj was awesome 👌

I liked this place a lot. Not crowded at all, nice service and food quite OK (protein bowl). It was a bit cold outside but the fire made me feel warm.

Had the beef sliders, very good, prefer a slight char on the edges but would still order them again. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. All the drinks were great! Stephanie was Faaantastic! All her recommendations were perfect. Would return just for the excellent service. Also enjoyed the music.

Had a really good first time experience at this location. This was a really nice rooftop location that was close to the airport. The food was great and the service was exceptional. I really would like to give a shout out to Alexa, Crystal, and Ji. We were celebrating a birthday and they made it special. I didn't have to wait long for anything. The amazing fire pit was one of the longest that I've seen. It kept me warm throughout the experience of viewing the city from the rooftop. The drinks were really good. The live entertainment was on point.

Be careful if you complain, the server can get mad really fast and if he doesn’t agree he will try to fight you or kick your @ss. We were there on an empty day and we moved from where we were originally seated due to the high temperature from the fire bar (where the chimney is). First time, this server told us that he was waiting a party of 6 (8:50 pm, they close 9:45 pm) and we were told to share another places with some one else (many spots available). We stay there but was really uncomfortable, once we see a better place just before we were leaving (9:40) we moved there and the server come once again making a non sense comment ratter than making us feel uncomfortable: “ I placed you there because I’m arranging the cushions” We definitely peace out and complain about it and then his attitude turn threatening as if it were going to fight us and yes mine was too because I was not expecting to receive a MACHO server trying to kick my @ss. Was the worst visit ever in my life

Beautiful atmosphere. Waiters were so amazing and welcoming. Loved the conversations I had with them and meeting people seating at the bar as well. Such am intimate vibe and shuttle yet classy space. Id for sure be back. Thank you for your service

A hidden gem to relax for happy hour at the Rooftop. Plus, had our daughter's college graduation here, perfect setting. Food was delicious and drinks are amazing! Events manager as well as catering manager were on top of it, very easy to communicate with. Special note, they have an herb and flower garden that they use for their food and drinks! Will come again for happy hour and maybe plan another event.

This place is an adorable rooftop bar in the AC hotel on the 6th Floor. You can take the special elevator on the left or the regular ones on the right. There's free parking on the street so you don't need to park in the hotel. Our group got the grilled chicken sandwich and fries, and heard it was good. The flat bread was also tasty, although cut a little interesting in a diagonal shape. The flora fries were huge, perfectly cooked and with a lot of garlic! It was really good. I ordered the ahi tuna poke with the rice and ir was perfect. The crispy rice wasn't rock hard like other places, so you don't feel like you chipped a tooth. It was a little soft and chewy. For drinks, I got the Fall Spritz, and sorry I can't believe I didn't take a picture of it but it was delish! The service was good, we went before 8pm Social Hour so it wasn't as busy and the servers were attentive. There were only 2 for the entire roof top. It did get a lot busier at 8pm. This place is super cute for a date night and a lot of fire pits and heaters made it nice and cozy.

We came for a nice dinner before we headed to our flight at LAX nearby. It took forever for us to get properly served, though. The service was incredibly slow and the kitchen was even slower. I'm not sure if the server we had was the only one working that day or if it was because we looked different from the rest of their "demographic" that our server had no issue being timely with. There were times where our server even ignored us as we tried to get her attention. She never checked on us, and we were getting upset because we had no water for over thirty minutes. Despite this, I must say the food was very delicious and their drinks were strong but still pretty good. The ambiance is nice, as you overlook Los Angeles. Our heater broke during the dinner so we got freezing toward the end. Overall, a very interesting experience but the food is good, just takes a very long time.

Loud but fast service! The salad is really good sized and breast grilled and juicy... impressed walnuts raisins The 1st floor kitchen was closed for a special event and just looking for a light bite for dinner. The view would be great if not so cold tonight but fires going and great atmosphere

Great spot to hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. Food: The food is okay, it's mostly basic flavors but it works for the environment. The downfall is the menu because it's a QR Code which is fine but the QR Code is sooooo tiny and hidden on a miniature plant pot you end up asking for it. The drink selection is also limited unfortunately so keep ot simple. Service: The staff was great. Our waiter was super nice and checked on us. We didn't see a lot of staff around but they did a great job. Atmosphere: It's a cool vibe, super chill, definitely not a dress up location and the flames and heaters came through because it was cold but we never felt the cold weather. The layout is nice and it has plenty of seating areas for privacy and personal conversations. You can also sit around the flames which is really nice as well. Location: It's located in El Segundo at 2130 E. Maple Ave. At the A/C hotel. Price: It's average nothing is too expensive we had drinks and food all night for a big group and we stayed about 3 hours and it wasn't bad at all.

This rooftop is a vibe! If I were local I'd be visiting often. The cabanas with fireplaces are cozy, the menu is limited but tastes exceptional and the music is flawless. Easily the best, most chill hotel rooftop I've been to. We went when they first opened for brunch & it was a family friendly environment. The service & views are great, our waiter was very attentive & provided great recommendations. They have heat lamps making it a good option even on chilly days. If sitting outside isn't your thing, they have indoor seating available. We ate family style & enjoyed it! My sister & I had mango & cranberry bottomless mimosas. For food, we ate charcuterie, garlic Parmesan wings & flora fries. The charcuterie had great variety, the wings were flavorful & crispy, and the french fries were topped with yummy herbs & Parmesan cheese.

First time here and we had a great experience. Date night with an ex is always fun when you both are trying something new. I selected this location and was hopeful it wouldn't be a flop. It wasn't - let's jump right into this review. What did we have? Strawberry Salad with protein (chicken) - $18 - The salad included spinach, candid walnuts, goat cheese, and chicken served with a side of warm strawberry vinegarette. I like that the dressing was not cold. I also appreciated the salad not being tossed in the dressing but placed on the side. Carne Asada Tacos (3) - $26 - Boo said they were delicious, extremely flavorful and the meat was tender. **substitutions are allowed** Pros 1. Rooftop area is beautiful with panoramic views. 2. Cabana areas with individual fire pits. One large fire pit that is the centerpiece of bar seating on both sides. Beautiful to see and dine next to. 2. Food was delicious. 3. Service was great. Very attentive staff. 4. The atmosphere is a vibe - dig it! Modern and chic decor. *Date night. Boys night. Girls night. Birthday.* Flora is perfect for many occasions or no specific occasion at all. Cons 1. The indoor area had a smell to it. Wasn't pleasant but we sat outside so it wasn't an issue for us. Just making a note right here about it. 2. Limited menu. Flora was a win all around. The beautiful view, warmth of the fire pit, great food, and attentive staff are reasons for you (the reader) to visit.

Overall rating: average Ambience was nice with the fire pits and long fireplace and rooftop aesthetics. Service was lacking in the sense that no one introduced themselves by their name and did not follow through with their word. This happened 3 separate times with 3 different servers. They checked in on how we're doing after we finished our food and drinks. Drinks were solid. LOVE their NA menu!! Mushrooms tacos were basically naked - double tortilla wraps with mushrooms in it and a side of tortilla chips from Ralph's. Beef sliders and fries were good. Pumpkin olive oil cake was fine. Nothing special. TLDR - this is a spot for group social hour or simple date, not dinner.

We had some time before the Nine Inch Nails concert and decided to check this place out, as we favor rooftop bars/lounges. Flora is located on top of the AC Marriott Hotel. It wasn't too busy when we got there, which was great. We decided to sit outside, the weather was great. We started off with a couple cocktails that our very friendly and energetic bartenders mixed to perfection. I had been wanting to try the charcuterie, and it certainly did not disappoint. It was such a generous portion we could have settled for just that, but felt adventurous and ordered the wings and truffle fries. Food was delicious, service was excellent. Will definitely be back.

Very nice rooftop location for happy hour during nice summer weather. The food and drinks were good and the vibe is cool. It's a good place to have a a date or hang out with friends.

My husband and I had a fantastic time at Flora Rooftop's Valentine's Day soirée! The ambiance was stunning, cozy fire pit, great DJ, and amazing views. Our ticket included a glass of champagne, and the pre-fixe menu was tasty (loved the espresso martini!). The service was great, they answered all our questions & the roses & dessert gifted at the end were a sweet touch. I wait to return and try the full menu! Highly recommend for a night out at a low key spot with nice vibes.

The bartenders here know their business, but the kitchens are a little slow, especially for the price. Paying $16 per cocktail, or $20-30 for some simple appetizers plates is fine. The view is good, the ambience is good, and the food is 30-50% overpriced, and it took over an hour to receive the flatbreads that we and an adjoining party ordered. Good quality, good drinks, but perhaps overpriced and understaffed. We weren't disappointed in any way, but it could have been better for the prices paid.

I'm surprised to find such a hidden gem nearby LAX. I genuinely enjoyed the venue and all the food and drinks I ordered. Food: 1)Flora Fries (Fries with truffle oil, parmesan cheese, parsley, roasted garlic aioli): Highly recommended. We enjoyed this so much, we ordered another plate! 2)Guac and chips(Chips with Guacamole and Mango salsa): Great to share with a large group. 3)Rooftop burger: Ingredients were fresh, meat was juicy and tender, nicely seasoned. Simply Delicious! 4)Chicken wings: It's cooked to perfection and oh so flavorful. Just look at the picture! 5) Drink: I ordered one of the signature cocktail. It was good. Service : Excellent considering our large group. Our server Crystal was patient, friendly and efficient! Thank you Crystal! Ambiance : Lovely, romantic and not overcrowded. There was live music when I was there in the evening. Perfect place for a date/group hangout.

Super cute spot with good drinks. The food is decent. Came in a Friday once and there was a DJ playing rally god hip hop.

Have stayed at the AC multiple times, but had never made it to the roof. Finally was in town and able to grab a cocktail at sunset. Nice escape to grab a little sunshine. With the chill in the air, fire pit was nice (they had patio heaters, as well). There are fresh herbs planted around the edges of the patio. Had the Rose Gimlet: gin, lime, simple syrup. Not too sweet and not too bitter. Perfect cocktail. I lucked out and only a few other couples when I was there, so I'm unsure of how busy it gets. I think you can make reservations online.

* BEST PRE SOFI-STADIUM COCKTAIL / BITES SPOT * Flora Rooftop Bar is fantastic!!!! We ate here for the first time before we went to the Beyoncé concert at Sofi Stadium and it was incredible! This place is the coolest, closest, most fun and exciting overall great vibe before a concert that you're gonna get! It's 15 minutes from the Sofi Stadium and it seems others have cracked the code too because a bunch of other people were here before the Beyoncé concert as well. We have been to Flora 3 times now (each time before a concert at the Sofi Stadium)! It is now the official PRE CONCERT dining experience! The rooftop is very well thought out. There are a good balance of sunny and more shade driven areas. They have garden and flower boxes (on theme to Flora) alongside the rooftop creating a beautiful atmosphere for plants and flowers to thrive. The cocktails are top notch! We didn't go for the signature cocktails but we had the usual expresso martini and dirty martini and they were exceptional! Everytime we come here we order the fries and chicken wings (separate dishes) and we are always pleased with the consistency! This place has the best staff. Everyone is super kind, attentive and down for your party to ask for recommendations. They have fabulous picture spots (as I mentioned perfect spot for pre-concert) around the rooftop. They have an amazing fireplace in the middle of the rooftop which really sets the ambiance! To get inside, you take the elevator up to the roof and the bathrooms are located inside the hallway. The parking is very easy on the street of the hotel (each time no problem) Flora is delicious, vivacious and addicting!

We had been looking forward to trying this place for quite a while. Finally, we took the plunge and made a reservation. It's at the top of the AC Marriott hotel, over in the area where the Lakers' training facility is located (and a great little place for breakfast burritos named Eat Fantastic - but that's another story). Parking is limited but they have a parking garage just past the valet / lobby to the left. Once inside the garage, you'll find the vast majority of the spots marked with "Parking for XXX only". We went up to the third floor before we could find a spot to park, only to find the elevator was out of order. Luckily, we are in decent shape so going down was easy and going up was okay. If you have limited mobility, I'd suggest using the valet or hope to find something on the street. Once inside, you'll see the hotel check-in area on your left and a lobby bar on your right. It was packed on the night we visited (a Tuesday). To get to Flora, just walk past the check-in, look for the entrance to the elevators to the left and go up to the top floor. Any one of the three elevators will take you there. On the top floor, you still have to sort of find your way there. Just exit to the north and you'll see it. There's an indoor area that leads to the outdoor patio. They have plenty of heating sources to keep you warm but a light jacket would be recommended for most, especially if you plan to stay after dark. Note, the validation for parking in the garage is only for two hours. No paper menus that we saw, you scan the QR code to order. We were disappointed in the limited menu. Really thought there's be more. We decided on the Mahi Mahi tacos and the beef sliders. Those two entrees, one glass of wine and one Old Fashioned came out to $96 before tip. Yep, $96. Just because you can see the airport doesn't mean it should cost your airport prices. Really, walk across the parking lot to Eat Fantastic and try to spend $100 for two. The presentation of the food was very nice. Looked well put together when both plates arrived. My sliders, ordered w/o tomato and w/o onions, came with tomatoes and onions. I just removed both from all three sliders and ate the burgers. Flavor was also very good but all three were cool in temperature. My wife had the Mahi Mahi tacos - again, presentation was very good. The tacos were good but the cilantro was overpowering and the rice was overcooked and a bit crunchy. Flavor of the fish was good but overall just an average dish for $26. You get three, street-sized tacos. I ordered an Old Fashioned and was disappointed to see it served in an opaque glass. Part of the experience of an Old Fashioned and seeing that beautiful single cube of ice in your delicious drink. Once again, flavor was good but in this case, presentation was lacking. When you are done, take your parking ticket to valet on the first floor, where the guys will talk to each other, ignoring the fact that they should be engaging the customers who are standing in front of them but, at the same time, taking the time to grab your ticket and validate it. Overall, it was an average experience. Some good, some bad but for over $100 for two, not worth it. Hope your experience is better than ours and...enjoy!!!

This was the perfect place for my 50th birthday bash last month. The waiter was amazing and even remembered all of our names. We are a picky bunch and everything ended up perfect on my special day

I've been wanting to go here for a while so I took my mom out for her birthday. When you first go up they have an outside and inside where you can choose where you want to sit. We chose outside and to sit by fireplace. The rooftop is on the small and intimate side. They don't have the most extensive menu and only two dessert choices. Parking is free for first two hours, get validation with valet! I wish they had more menu items but it's a cozy vibe. The waitresses are pretty nice and do check on you. They brought us the wrong order twice so maybe better direction and communication from the Kitchen but it wasnt a huge deal. The burger was delicious and I love the fries. They were salted perfectly. The chimichurri steak was my favorite and I was dying for more. It is on the smaller side of a portion, but is worth every bite. It comes with veggies and potatoes. I didn't have much veggies, but potatoes were delicious. Desserts they have are red velvet cake, and Keylime pie.

Even without reservation, they were able to seat us right away. The customer service was outstanding and their food and drinks are delicious. Flora staff are the best! They are very welcoming and friendly. The ambiance too is great for lounging and chill

The patio and ambiance are A+, nice breeze. Hard to find with the gps. It's inside the Ace hotel on the 6th floor. They need to have better signage inside the hotel too. We ordered the mushrooms and fries, it's ok quality. The suggested replacement for sold out Stella was a good beer. Instagram friendly. Rey is an amazing waiter, very caring. It got better later on with the live music, I'm adding 1star!:)

I was seated outside and the ambiance was so romantic and nice! This rooftop lounge played nice music and had a glass fire display which was really cool. We ordered the front porch sour and flora fries. The fries came with ketchup and this garlic truffle sauce. This was so good we couldn't stop eating them! The drinks were pretty good and not too strong either. The service was great and made us feel really welcomed. I'll definitely come again to try out more!

We love coming to Flora. The vibe is always chill. The service is great! But this time I ordered chicken wings and they were out. So I ordered a slice of cheese cake and they were out. I went back to my room hungry.

Ambience is a "5" but food was a "3", service was slow. The food was pricey and didn't meet the quality. My suggestion is go have a drink, enjoy the ambience and go eat elsewhere.

Follow the red carpet to the designated elevator that will take you up to the 6th floor. The interior seating area was surprisingly generic after the buildup to get you there. The outdoor seating area was beautiful! A fire feature in the middle of the communal table was stunning and offered a good barrier so that you could carry on a conversation. A garden runs the perimeter and periodically the staff would come out and pick herbs for the dishes/drinks. The menu was very limited and the food was just ok (3). The drinks, DJ, service (shout out to Yanet), city views, fellow patrons and atmosphere were the best (5+)! We had a great time!

I enjoyed everything we ordered @ Flora's The Mimosa Flight,The Margsrita Flight,Fruit Nowl,Salad,Garlic Wings were very good they should have drained the grease before serving & the garlic fries were delicious as well, our server was very nice & ,Cheft Eric Cruz as well, when we today him the wings were the best we ever had just hold the grease, The Singer was everything My sisters & I enjoyed our time there & will be going back 5 stars

I love a good rooftop bar so I'm always on the hunt wherever I go! I was visiting LA in the summer of 2022 and stayed a night at the AC Hotel and decided to stop by this rooftop for a late night dinner. Pro tip: If you're anything like me and love rooftops but not the steep prices, come for their social hour from 8-9pm most nights and select menu items and drinks are half off! So guess what? I of course strategically went during social hour and let me just say everything was amazing! I ordered the Flora fries, Fattoush Salad with chicken and Front Porch Sour. All legit so good and then the view of sunset was just icing on the cake. I will say service was a bit slow but staff was friendly so it made up for it. If you're in the area you gotta stop by!

the flora rooftop bar is really beautiful and perfect for a date night or sunset drinks. it can be cold so bundle up. the vibes are great and are definitely the main reason i go. it is one of the only rooftop bars in the area. drinks are well done, but can be a little pricey. food is also quite expensive for what you're getting. service has always been amazing everytime i go.

Cute rooftop bar in El Segundo. Good for date night as well as drinks with a couple of friends. There's outdoor seating with a fireplace and warm lighting. They serve food as well. Mocktails are available but not shown on the menu. We had virgin mojitos and they were a vibe. Street parking available. Credit cards accepted. They do close early for a bar so if you're looking for a late night, you may want to head elsewhere. Waitresses come around to take your order. Restrooms are available in the lobby close to the elevators.

Decent spot to come have some wine and a cool breeze. The playlist was cool and you have to come try the wings. The view wasn't what I thought but overall I'd come again. Parking on the street or near by

This place was super cool, very trendy, and you get lots of cute pics! We stopped by before a concert at the sofi stadium, so happy we found it. PARKING- Plenty of it available, they have a structure (just make sure to get ticket validated) FOOD- Very Tasty. My favorite was the chicken flat bread. It has lots of pesto and fresh ingredients. 10/10. Sliders were good too! DRINKS- Front Porch Sour!!!! We tried a few drinks and all were good! This place is super cute, it's really close to LAX so you get to see the planes landing as well as the sunset. Great for dates, girls night, etc.

Pretty spot but would not come back. Service needs to improve. Had reservation but they didn't even ask for our name, etc. Once we were seated, no one greeted us, not even a "we will be with you shortly". It wasn't even crowded and we were sitting there waiting for a bit. No water even. Went to get someone at the front so we can put in our drinks order. Food was okay, again it's a cool spot, awesome views, but I won't be coming back. Maybe happy hour is better since everything is pricey to begin with.

Beautiful rooftop restaurant by the airport if you are staying by any of the hotels. Staff is super friendly and hospitable. Valet available.

Pretty neat place and with great vibe. The night I went it was cold and windy though and not many people there but the service was quick and friendly and the food was even far better than expected!

Came here on a Sunday night with my friends. It was not packed and my friend had made a reservation. There is valet parking as the restaurant/bar is in a hotel rooftop. Since it was Saturday there was plenty of street parking available. The bar itself was pretty romantic as we saw there were many couples having a date. It was adorable that they put the menu QR code on a succulent. Foodwise I recommend the cauliflower, fries and chips and guacamole. I've been on an espresso martini kick and I want to say it's the best espresso martini I have had in my life. I had to get another. I will be definitely coming back with my boyfriend here in the future

Arrived at 8 PM with a reservation that was not honored. The seating was uncomfortable. I observed some guests eating from their laps. We ordered food, drinks, and water, but it took 30 minutes just to receive water. Staff repeatedly asked us to scan the menu and reorder. By 9:20 PM, we still hadn't received drinks or dinner. A very disappointing experience overall.

Hosted a private engagement party here this summer. It could not have been any more spectacular! To say it exceeded our expectations would be the understatement of the century. I worked with Anne Wolk, AC Marriott's Event manager, to plan all of the details. She was incredible....always responsive and helpful in every capacity. The party went off without a hitch. You cannot beat the venue...it speaks for itself...but the service and food were equally great (I highly recommend the taco bar)! Huge shoutout to Zaine, who oversaw the event that night, and Dezirae, who bartended. We were so lucky to have such a great staff on hand, who attended to our every need and beyond. We even planned a baby shower for their downstairs venue (The AC Lounge) the following week. This venue is definitely the crown jewel of the South Bay. I highly recommend!!!! Thank you Annie and crew!

Cool rooftop bar located at the top of the AC Hotel. They have a cool fire pit area, live music, cool seating for large groups. Loved the ambiance the only downside was service was a bit slower and we were thirsty for adult beverages.

The garlic chicken wings gave me major food poisoning from eating them last night. I'm still feeling very sick! There's no one live to answer your phones. I hope you guys pull them from your menu before others get sick!

There is an indoor area and the rooftop with the fire pit. They have food and drinks here, but I stayed for drinks. The vibe was nice and when I was here the was like music! You can't see the planes landing from here, but still such a relaxing atmosphere. Service was a little on the slower side because there was one server.

I went here with a co-worker who was in town on business. I work around the corner and didn't know about this spot. The location is great and has amazing potential, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. It wasn't crowded and it took about 10 minutes for someone to come over. They took our order - food and a cocktail. We waited.....and then waited some more. We started receiving our food and asked where the cocktail was. They hadn't ordered it with the bartender. Yikes!!! They checked on us once and that was it. Took a minute to get container and check. This place is cute, but they need to tighten up the service.

Enjoyed a wonderful early dinner here while waiting for my mom to arrive at LAX. Beautiful rooftop setting with great service, nice warm fire pits and lovely plants surrounding the dining space. We loved our Spicy Watermelon Margaritas made with Ghost habanero tequila, fresh watermelon juice, lime, and agave. We also enjoyed the blistered Shishito Peppers with a delicious and spicy Habanero Aioli and the chicken wings were incredible!!! Super crispy with a delicious parmesan garlic sauce. I would love to get the recipe for those wings. Might be the best we've ever had!!!

Literal mold!!!!!!!!! needless to say, we did not drink the water - I was scared to drink my alcoholic beverage. I had ordered after that. Will not be coming back here again.

I will not be going back! The service was terrible, we sat without a fireplace 70% of the time we were there because they couldn't find the engineer. Food was slow to come out. Not a very good experience. The waitress even gave us someone else's credit card and bill. What a mess. Needs new management.

Nice staff, good ambiance. Came for a little date night and ordered a cheeseboard to start thinking to get dinner after but that board was so filling we didn't need anything else after it.
