Horrible experience. Will not eat here again. There is no sign that says “please seat yourself”. If you want to eat here, be prepared to clean your own table. I ordered the pancake combo which came with 1 egg, three pancakes, and either sausage or bacon. I got my three pancakes but my 1/4 of a scrambled egg and 2 sausage links were cold!!! They never came around and refilled our drinks, we watched people cleaning their own tables, the price is crazy with such small small portions, and rude staff. I did not pay for my cold pancake combo. We got no apology. That’s okay though!!! We got Taco Bell right across the street and Florence Cafe will not be getting our service again.

First time here. Lunch. Outstanding! Large wait staff. Friendly and helpful. No waiting. Seat yourself. Large clean and bright. Daily specials. My wife had the chicken fried steak and I had liver and onions. Lunch entree items come with your choice of TWO sides. I had mashed potatoes with brown gravy and fried okra. Delicious. My wife had a salad and also the fried okra. Excellent value. Everyone loves great value. Photos attached. We will eat here again. And will bring friends.

We love stopping in at the Florence Cafe for a meal anytime we’re in Florence! Stopped in yesterday and had a delicious, relaxing breakfast! It was quite busy when we arrived but a table was quickly cleaned for us and our order was taken quickly. Our waitress was outstanding! She made sure our order was correct and that we were enjoying our meal. She also gave us refills on our drinks. We enjoyed our delicious skillet and omelette breakfasts and our visit back! Thanks team at FC!

F.C. Try nicely cooked chicken steaks, fried chicken and tenderloin that are served at this cafe. Many visitors come here to enjoy tasty pancakes, biscuits and French toasts. Delicious gin is among the most popular drinks at Florence Cafe. A selection of great coffee or good tea is offered to guests. I KNOW many people come here for breakfast, but there is lunch turn that menu over. I had catfish..trust..its good. The cosy atmosphere of this place makes customers feel relaxed and have a nice time. The friendly staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. The fast service is something these restaurateurs care about. Low prices are to be expected at this spot. The spectacular decor is worth checking out.

Found this Cafe based off high reviews and there stars are well earned! Food was delicious and Allison our waitress was fantastic! She was personable and kind! Five stars all around will 100% be returning ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Local "Mom & Pop" cafe located in historic Florence AZ. Open for breakfast and lunch (closes at 2:00).

The food was utterly disappointing. The hash browns were falling apart, as if they’d been left out overnight and barely cooked before being served. The gravy on the biscuits was bland, and the biscuits themselves lacked any real flavor. Everything had the taste and texture of being reheated in a microwave. It’s unfortunate, because I’d love to give a better rating—the waitress was an absolute sweetheart—but the food was just terrible. As an experienced chef, I can’t help but imagine how I could transform their menu. Done right, it could easily become a go-to spot for both locals and travelers passing through Florence. Additionally, during a busy time, I was asked to share a table with another family while they were still eating. It felt awkward and uncomfortable for both them and me, especially as I was with my two-year-old. It would have been much more considerate if I had simply been asked to wait for an available table.

We shared a grilled chicken sandwich and house made chili. The chili was excellent! The sandwich was good too. The waitress was very friendly, accommodating and efficient. I recommend this place!

Food came out fast and hot. It was so delicious. Toast came extremely buttered. So many regular ol' folks in there, I'm afraid they'll give someone a heart attack with how much sweet butter they add to their toast. As an outsider and a person of color, service and ambiance was ok. Definitely got a few side eyes from the regulars and one of the servers, but it's to be expected in AZ.

Love small town cafes. Foods was amazing and inexpensive. Service was quick and friendly. I like a counter to eat at. Has Botha tables and of course the counter. Food was out quick. Will be back!! Awesome place

We have eaten here multiple times so I am not quite sure why I have never reviewed it, so this one is a bit past due. Sorry guys. In short the food here is down home cooking, comfort food at its finest! Nothing fancy but anything you could want from open faced sandwiches to French toast to Eggs Benny. The portions are more than enough to leave you loosening your belt on the way out the door and prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and there isn't a shortage of them. They are also a victim of their own success, well that and being the only decent breakfast place in a Florence, because there can be a bit of a wait most mornings, and certainly on the weekends. The noise inside is somewhat overwhelming if you are hard of hearing and they could certainly expand the inside to accommodate more people. They also need to figure out how to situate the checkout differently as everyone kind of log jams at the entrance coming and going. But hey, if it ain't broke don't fix it right? They have a winner on their hands here.

Local Cafe, Freezing inside, staff has great personalities, good food, home cooking. Got the green chili Swiss burger with fries, the fries were cold(probably because it's 40 degrees inside) When it's hot outside, this place is a great respite to cool off. The burger was delicious & great size, the fries when hot are fantastic! Fresh ice tea to top it off..

A great spot for some down home cooking. I haven't had a bad thing yet. Always good food and service. It can get a little busy, but you will still have an attentive server.

Came for breakfast. Ordered a skillet The onions, bell peppers were raw. The bacon was in bits and thrown on top. The ham was cold. Clearly the skillet was not grilled but just assembled. I told the waitress about it to whereby she said, " it's grilled honey that's how it's suppose to be" Her attitude over my complaint was one that I would not let her take my food back. So I guess grilled skilled means raw veggies on top of potatoes. Brought it home and cooked it and it still was mediocre at best. No taste, no ambience and no thanks

Delicious! The food is hot and cooked like my mom used to cook. I got the eggs Benedict SBT (spinach, bacon, and tomato). This was cooked totally perfect. The spinach was cooked and delicious. The tomato was warm. Everything meshed perfectly together. I also got hashbrowns which were perfectly cooked. Hubby got eggs, bacon and biscuits and gravy. Everything was cooked perfect and totally delicious. The wait staff was friendly and greeted us immediately. The food came out quick.

Stopped by for a late lunch while in Florence. Staff was very friendly! Our meals came out quick and everything was very fresh. We will be back again!

Used to be "the breakfast joint" in town. Food has gone to crap. We are regulars ( not anymore as of Jan 14, 2024). I refuse to keep spending money on crap. Todays crap, (I changed from my regular omlette because that became crap the last 4 times) Biscuits, the gal who perfectly made them doesnt do it anymore. Todays crap was 45.00 party of 2) including the 5.00 tip. They cant keep good cooks, owners daughter cant cook either. Wait staff is GREAT! Im surely going to miss them.

The Florence cafe is quaint and clean. We've had outstanding service every single time. I've had several omelets, the SMS is my personal favorite. The biscuits and gravy are good, the soups and sandwiches are also very good. The only disappointment I've had there was an eggs Benedict but it could have been an off day. Poached eggs tend to be either fantastic or a complete bomb (in my experience) the hollandaise sauce was good, the eggs were just cold and runny. It hasn't kept me from going back to try other things!

It didn't look like it would be amazing until we went inside It looked full but we got a table very fast. The special of the day was cinnamon roll pancakes so I got them. The short stack was 2 pancakes that filled the whole plate. It was very filling. Our waiter was happy to help us and made sure we had enough to drink almost every time she passed by.

Thanks River... this place was just what I needed for breakfast. The newspaper outside was a good touch for those who want to leave their devices behind. And your grill cook wearing a Chicago Bulls Hat is a gem... That's just my 10 cents.

On May 23, 2024, my daughter became very ill, i.e. food poisoning, due to eating a breakfast burrito at the Florence Cafe, and because of this she was not able to participate in her high school Graduation Ceremony later that evening, just adding insult to injury.

Absolutely the very best food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Great place for the family and friends to meet and enjoy eating together.

Absolute best breakfast restaurant in Florence. All of their food is amazing, the coffee is always hot service is with a smile. The cooks are fantastic and the overall feeling is so comforting, warm, and inviting. I always recommend to tourists and locals alike.

My husband and I have been eating there almost every Tuesday since we got Married. Everyone who works there has the customer service and knowledge and knows everyone by name. They remember Birthdays and Anniversaries and acknowledge you by name when you come in!!!

Pork tenderloin is good! It's good place to go if you want a sit down breakfast! Call a head if you go on the weekends they always have a wait! Owner should expand!

OK probably won't go here again went down there drove about a half hour to get there cause we went there once before my daughter love the pie. Went there again today had the western omelette wasn't too bad but the hashbrowns for chewy and they were kind of old seem like they were old and other ones you find leftovers and heat it up and they're still chewy so I probably won't go there again. And nowadays for the price you really have to be picky on what you get I also add an updated menu because last menus are on there for 2019 and they were two dollars off please do better.

We were a group of 10 Seniors who needed an alternative restaurant because our chosen restaurant where we had a reservation had closed without letting us know. A quick look at Google maps showed us that the Cafe was nearby. I called and asked if they could accommodate us and they y said sure! 5 minutes later we were seated and within 15 minutes or so we were all served...separate checks and everything, served with a smile . Best yet, the food was great. For some of us former Midwesterners, the pork tenderloin was a wonderful surprise!

Great biscuits, great gravy...great breakfast experience. This place is always packed and consistently makes good food. I have never had anything I didn't like. I would recommend the chicken friend steak skillet... I eat it all the time and being a big guy, I leave full and often times have to leave food on the plate...so much food! Staff are friendly, they could probably do with more as there are so many people the staff aren't able to get to you very quickly.

We happed upon this place after an Easter Egg hunt that was a bust. Florence Cafe was delicious!! Everyone enjoyed their food and the wait staff was friendly, welcoming and attentive. We will be back.

The Meatloaf I ordered was Cold and Service was So really good, bad experience eating there ' eating there before it was great ,Now terrible!

Food is good, if you have the patience to wait for it. They have kind of a captive audience here in Florence. It's just a simple roadside Café that serves food.

Good food, good portion size at a fair price, and Gina's sass is NOT to be missed! I used to go there at least once or twice a week before I moved to WV. It's another one of those places were if you can find something on the menu that you didn't like, you're working at it. Bop Gina on the nose for me :D

This is a real gem. The staff treat you like family. I have gluten and dairy sensitivity and the staff is ver helpful and knowledgeable. I will be a repeat customer.

Is a great place to go for Breakfast or Lunch, we love the French toast plate and my kids love the pancakes every time we go that have good service and the food is great.

Stopped in here for breakfast hike passing through. Great staff, very nice and down to earth. The waitress helping us was friendly and easy to talk too. She took our orders and everything was correct when it came out. She was even very polite as one of us asked for sugar free sweetener and syrup. She kept our drinks full and hot (coffee) and even gave us to-go waters when we left. I would definitely stop here again. The food was great and I like local little cafes. I had a chicken fried steak skillet and that was perfect. Right amount of food for a big hearty breakfast. My buddy got the chicken fried steak breakfast and this thing was huge. Biggest dam chicken fried steak I have ever seen, he had to get a to-go box for part of it. We had a trailer with us and found parking easy when we got there. The parking lot did fill a bit while we were there so if you bring a trailer be mindful of when you leave.

Stopped in for breakfast. Spouse and I had the eggs, toast, bacon and hash browns. It was a good standard breakfast and spouse who had the scrambled eggs said they where good. Except for the eggs mine was good as well. The eggs however, over hard, where the worst I have EVER had and at 66 I have eaten a lot of eggs in my life, so this is not a statement I make lightly. I am not sure if it was what they where cooked in, or a bad egg, or something else, but one bite told me all I needed to know. I did take a second bite from the other egg, but spit it out. Will I try again for lunch, you bet. Customer service was great, good seating with plenty of room, and good parking.

Not happy. Ordered a BLT extra bacon on toasted sourdough with sweet potato fries to go earlier this week. Told 30min, OK no prob. I show up on time, order is ready, I pay, I go home, near the winery - not far. I open the box, soggy cold fries looks like they were just thrown in there, slivers of bacon, a leaf or lettuce and not even full slices of tomato, end sliver pieces. Apparently this had been ready long before I showed up in the 30min window I was given. Now I work from home near the winery so not far but I did not have time to go back! I was hungry so I ate it but it was very disappointing, 180° different from my sit down experience of the same meal. Now with things costing more these days, it was upsetting to pay for a meal that was ill prepared, cold and soggy! A BLT is the easiest sandwich to prepare next to a PB&J. This was a costly disappointment. I really should have taken pics of that disappointment! Never order anything to go from there!!!!!

Went in for lunch today, the decor was nice- country themed, and restaurant was clean. Pricing is decent and portions were good. We had the BLT with fries and kids pancakes with a strip of bacon and scrambled egg on the side. The food was good.. the fries were delicious!!!!

Very busy place & the waitress was very curt. Asked us what we want to drink and we didn't respond quick enough so she cleaned off some tables, poured some coffee, slammed some dishes into a tub and then came back to wait on us. The food was really good though. She was having a bad day!

Great atmosphere and quiet safe place when you need a good taste of country cooking, bathroom was clean and peaceful and I felt like everyone was really nice and that means a lot to me :)

Awful food- burger was paper thin -bacon was all fat and onion rings soggy and we needed them to box up take to go due to time for food to arrive

Was pleasantly pleased with this place, after seeing quite a few negative reviews. Sunday was really busy but they managed to still provide good and quick service. The food was nicely cooked. No complaints at all. Will definitely return.

I love this cafe! I have never had a bad meal here. Their Denver Omelet is fantastic and you get your choice of a side. I finally found a place where I could get a Tenderloin sandwich that is large enough to feed two people. So good! Mackenzie is my favorite server! Don't hesitate to ask for her!

Terrible food. They don't use any seasoning at all. Paid $10 for an egg and hashbrown burrito and it's the worst thing I've ever tasted. This is literally my first ever Yelp review. Just had to post. Don't go here. Just go to McDonald's

Great small town cafe! We had French dip sandwiches with fries. The beef was great, the bun was fresh, the au jus was perfect and the fries were yummy! Great waitress and the meal was out to us very quickly. The restrooms were spotless as was the restaurant itself! I have no problem at all giving this place 5 stars! Nice place!

Shoes walked in, was immediately greeted and told to sit anywhere. So I did. A booth near the front. The place wasn't crowded....yet. I turned my coffee cup over and it was filled. I placed my order, a bacon and cheese omlette, hash browns, biscuit. My order was up in 5 minutes. I slathered my omlette and hash browns with Arizona Gunslinger red sauce, and got down to the eatin'. While the portions weren't large, the biscuit was, and I was full. Reasonable price, great service and I will be back. Good stuff!

I went there with international people, they didn't treat us well, they were unfriendly with us. Even the waitress she smiles for everyone except our table, and some of our group people are from Africa and I assume that this is the reason. (Color different). I know our language is different and that cause the people to look at us but not being rude. And my proof is the waitress and cashier treatment.
