My job was eliminated in March of this year. I immediately called Flores to inquire about my flexible spending account. I specifically asked for information about starting a COBRA account. I was told there was nothing to be done until my company had officially notified them of my separation. I called back twice more within the next two weeks for an update and was told "Our system is still not showing you as separated. Just sit tight. When we receive that notification, we will contact you about the COBRA." I asked about the remaining funds in my account and was told "Those funds are all showing as roll-over funds from your paychecks. Those are your funds. We will contact you." I called back today because my benefits card was declined at my son's pediatrician. My balance, which was approximately $500, is now $0.00. I called the company and was told "Those funds were forfeited for administrative purposes after you separated from your former company." I explained what I had been told by numerous employees previously and was then told "I don't know why you were told that. Unused funds are forfeited." No amount of begging these people, pleading with them, arguing that they stole MY MONEY that had been drawn from MY PAYCHECKS did any good. This company stole $500 from me, after telling me to "sit tight" and that I would not lose access to my money. Absolute scam. They are thieves, and I will continue to shout it from the rooftops.

I can't give this company even 1 star, unfortunately I can't post the review without choosing at least 1. The company we had up until recently was great, unfortunately Flores bought them out. It's impossible to get anyone to answer the phone and they do not respond to emails. This is a significant decline in the service I experienced with the original company. They did respond to our HR department once and told them I have already used all of my funds in my HRA account, I've only used half and I have all of the documentation to support it. They refuse to release the remaining funds. My coworkers are experiencing the same issues. I hope my employer chooses a different company when this contract is done.

It feels like I’m talking to Vogons from Hitchikers Guide to a Galaxy when I call this company. I submitted a claim and it was denied. They said they need a letter of medical necessity, so I provided that and they denied it again. The receipt shows an abbreviation, which is defined on the letter of necessity, but they’re saying this is insufficient. Now I have to go back to the provider AGAIN and ask for a “detailed itemized receipt” even though it’s clear from the documentation I provided what is going on. This is an absolutely unnecessary level of bureaucracy.

They get a one star only because I have to give one to leave a review. This company has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. I had to call daily for a month for them to get my cobra plan active and now I have been trying to cancel for the past 6 months. I have not been paying them during this time yet they have yet to cancel it. I have called MANY times and each person tells me it has been handled. Yet it has not. It is causing me a lot of headache because I have new insurance yet this policy keeps coming up. Absolutely ridiculous!

$1,250 was mistakenly deposited into my bank account by Flores. Unfortunately, this was an account I rarely monitor, so I didn’t notice the error. What’s more concerning is that Flores never called me to inform me of the deposit or the correction. Twenty days later, the money was withdrawn from my account without any prior notice or communication. I was eventually informed of the situation by my HR department, not Flores. The lack of direct communication throughout this process was extremely unprofessional.

Update: I heard from someone at Flores and they made a one-time exception and updated the COBRA fee for my February premium back to the 3% ($1.39). I appreciate that someone did the right thing there. #### I had an overdue Cobra payment for February of $46.22 for my dental insurance.This morning, I put in my credit card information and it clearly said there was a 3 % fee to use the card. Which was the case for past payments. I put it through and was shocked when a minute later to see a $71.22 charge on my credit card. I immediately called and the customer service person said the rates to use a credit card were increased to $25. She also says that was on the website. That was NEVER shown on my transaction and I asked for a refund to pay another way and they refused. The customer service person and her supervisor who I asked to speak to claim that is not on the website. The supervisor also refused to reverse the charge. This was clearly on the electronic statement in my account before I posed pay. Clearly there is an error in the part of their IT department for overdue bills.

This is an absolute joke of a company. They do not answer phones, cannot read claim dates and falsely deny claims, they do not answer emails. I really wish my company would drop this company. I am reporting to BBB. Plan on being a n the phone for a very very long time and then after all that wait no one picks the phone up. Ok so try emailing? Nope!! They do not answer emails either. Send in a claim? We’ll circle the dates of service for your FSA because they cannot read either. Beware!

I would steer away from Flores if you have a choice. They are a large company that must run very lean personnel wise, because you have to jump through many hoops to be able to talk to a person. They do great with their salesforce generated emails, but when you have a question, it is days or weeks getting assistance. Going from a relatively small benefits company to this one has been a harsh transition, we will be exploring other options as soon as possible as my blood pressure goes up any time I have to deal with them - which is frequently because they keep screwing our account up.

I've had them for flex spending at my current firm for about 3 years and they are fabulous. I was concerned initially because I had never heard of the firm and thought good lord, now what? but they do a great job. I submit my information online once and it is turned around and processed immediately. I have never had a problem with them which is a 180 degree change from Payflex which was appallingly bad. If I have a question, go figure, they answer it.

I have gotten two new cards and still neither work, every transaction I have to front the money and then reimburse myself. Absolutely terrible service, no value, and of the three HSA companies I've worked with it's not even close - Flores is terrible.

Flores247 - Zero Response, Urgent Issues Unresolved I've sent three emails and spent countless hours on hold (1-3 hours per call!) trying to reach someone at Flores247. I need urgent help with my account (email change and over contribution removal), but have received absolutely no response. This is completely unacceptable. They suck, never respond to emails, endless "customer service" bs others have mentioned. Impossible to get hold of a human. They want your PID and the last four digits of your debit card (if you are on COBRA, you likely don't have one). Their two-factor authorization rarely works, so you can't log in (likely ON PURPOSE). What are they good at? Sending "past due" notices. If the bill isn't paid by the end of the month for the next (coverage) month's premium, out goes the letter DESPITE being told by them that the 2nd of the coverage month is just fine. What are they doing in the Charlotte offices? Seems to be nothing!

Absolutely awful! My employer has used Flores for several years. I was excited originally when I received a card to pay for medical services and products. Unfortunately, there is typically a problem when I use the card. Today, I went on to check my balance, and it showed that the card had several thousand dollars available. I entered my $20 copay for some bloodwork, and it was denied. So this card has become an extreme frustration. It simply creates an opportunity to waste my time while trying to access my flexible spending account (money that is taken out of my paycheck). I have scored this a 1-star because of all the times in the recent past that it has been a problem. Today's payment reply was - We did not receive approval to process your payment. Please use a different account, card, or payment method. This is not really a service, it is a time waster and a frustration generator. If you need work on your patience or controlling your anger, Flores \ will work well.

Too bad no stars is not an option. TOTALLY HORRIBLE service. Multiple calls were not picked up for over 45 min. I have tried multiple times a day at different times. I have also emailed twice and not had any luck. The HSA card provided does not work since it is not properly tied to my account. I will send a certified letter today or tomorrow and then get Better Business Bureau and Legal involved. They are holding my money hostage!!!

I am receiving insurance benefits through COBRA, and Flores is the COBRA administrator. Three separate times over the last eight months I've been receiving COBRA, the company has failed to report my automatic payments for the COBRA to my insurance companies, resulting in them canceling my insurance three separate times, causing all kinds of problems for me. As I said, these are automatic payments that come out of my checking account every single month and pay the cobra premiums on time. Each time there was absolutely no reason for cobra to be discontinued. And every time I called upon discovering that my insurance coverage was canceled I was given the runaround on the phone by various customer service representatives at Flores, who told me that the issue was being straightened out, but it would take weeks for them to resolve it almost to the time the next month insurance was supposed to begin. This company is a disaster.

Flores & Associates purchased Group Dynamics in Q4 2024 and promised to move funds from old HSA accounts/debit cards to the new Flores HSA accounts/debit cards. They missed the deadline, then told me funds would not be transferred, so I have two HSA accounts managed by two apps. My employer is changing to a new company because Flores is so terrible and I will be charged a fee to move each of the two accounts, instead of just one account. It's 12/5/24 and the Flores247 site has been down since at least 11/30/24. Flores cannot or will not say when the site will work again. I cannot use the site or app to see what my HSA balance is, I have money being taken out of my paycheck and not deposited, and Flores is not processing HRA payments. Stay away from this Flores & Associates. They are poorly run and horrible communicators. No state or federal agency has been able to help me. I hope I have not lost my HSA funds!

Do not select this as your provider! I completely agree with other people who left very low rating for this company. It has been many weeks that I try to receive an answer on my account transfer, and I have tried both emailing and calling. Emails never got answered and after a long hold on the phone each time a representative assures me that someone will look into my issue within the next 24-48 hours but weeks go by and no result. Do not select this as your provider!

Horrible customer service! Today I have been on hold a total of 1 hour 52 minutes and counting (two separate calls) and both times I just needed to ask a simple question. Now it's almost 5 ET, so I'll probably just have to try again Monday. Email is not an option either, I've sent two now that have gone unanswered. Incredibly frustrating. They at minimum should have a callback option so you don't have to be stuck on hold the entire time.

Can't even get anyone on the phone to answer your questions. Need people to just answer the phone. They get you to join and will answer your calls then after that you are place on hold for 45 minutes to an hour. if i could give a 0 rating that would be it

Worse than one star. Unable to contact them for a week because of their computer problems during the last part of December about a claim. Spent hours on the phone and computer trying to see why they are challenging a claim sent by a hospital. The person I spoke with this morning was rude and unhelpful and told me I could pay back the costs of blood tests. This was an FSA account I had fully funded.

The worst FSA customer service I've ever dealt with. Multi-factor authorization keeps losing the ability to send to my phone number and I can't log in to fix that because I can't get the code! Multiple emails to get updates on rejected claims have been unanswered. Calling customer service--don't plan to do anything else for quite a while, because you'll be on hold forever. No option for a callback. The AI assistant can 1) change your password or 2) check your balance. That's it. And, yes, as another reviewer mentioned: Their site was down for days near the end of this year--exactly when it was most needed.

My company switched to them for 2024 and it was an awful first impression, serious lag in getting funds into my account. It evened out, but they are SO SLOW to reimburse FSA. And now, at the end of the year they performed some "routine maintenance" that has crashed their site for going on 5 days now with ZERO communication or updates. FSA is use or lose and the deadline is fast approaching! They only just updated the messaging on their site today and there is still no end in sight to being able to access my account.

If I could give no stars I would, and after reading other reviews, I believe they would as well. I've used Flores for many years but the past 4 years they've gone downhill SIGNIFICANTLY! I've recently had to use them for COBRA and unfortunately missed my December payment by a few days. I thought I had a 30 day grace period, which they tell you that you do, but that is in the month that it is due, so truly no grace period and they don't send a reminder either. Nothing like losing your job and then losing your insurance because you were just a few days past the date sending your payment at the holidays. And don't get me started on the inability to reach anyone and the lack of empathy and service. Thanks for nothing Flores!

This is my 3rd HSA provider in 13 years. This company is the worst. No support and I am having to jump through hoops for the most basic things. The website is way below average. The information provided on the account page is trash. They have you backed against a wall with YOUR Money! If possible get a personal HSA with a local bank and have your employer deduct the money and direct deposit.

Horrible company, customer service is nice but they have no access to real information only supervisors can. I have a FSA card and child care spending account. FSA card has been fine, but child spending reimbursement account is always out of date (in excess of two months). If you live paycheck to paycheck the hassle of this is not worth the value you save on taxes. Wish I could give them a zero.

Our Company has been with Group Dynamic for years. Flores bought the Company and it's been a nightmare ever since. They stopped the HSA cards on 9/20/24 that my employees had with Group Dynamic, and there is no way to fund the new accounts with Flores. My employees haven't even received their new HSA/FSA cards. No one will return my calls. Employees that have asked to set-up their new account online with them, have tried, but keep getting error messages. We may need to take legal action against them very soon if it doesn't get immediately corrected.

My employer uses this company for our dependent care in which I have participated for 10 years. I had never had any issues until recent. Prior I would submit a claim and about 2-3 days later I would receive the reimbursement direct deposit. Now the end of November their website and company systems were down so funds still came out of my check but could not access the website or over the phone they couldn't access my account for me to submit a claim. Once it finally was back up and I submitted a claim it took almost 2 weeks for the direct deposit to be issued on their end. That is about 3 weeks if not more that they had my money that I couldn't get. I just submitted another reimbursement on 12/31 (1/1 was a holiday so I understand that) but here we are going on a week later and my claim hasn't even been reviewed. I have canceled my 2025 enrollment with them because it is not worth the stress from such a terrible company. I hope my employer uses another company in the future. I hope others cancel as well and that this company can eventually close because they have caused me so much stress in the last 6 months that I cannot wait to wash my hands of them. I do not recommend them to anyone. Stay far away.

Unbelievable incompetence. COBRA was to start September 2021. All my medical claims were denied as BC/BS stated they had NO information on my coverage ( despite me paying the premiums for Sept to Dec 2021 to Flores as COBRA administrator) Had to get VERY insistent with Flores in December to straighten it out. SAME bul$$hit in May 2022. BC/BS denied all claims after December 31, 2021 as they stated they had NOT received any premiums from Flores since December 2021. WASTED 2 hours of my time trying to get this resolved with BC/BS and Flores. Their ho-hum attitude is infuriating. The American health insurance system is a travesty. NO OTHER civilized country has to deal with this crap. Too many fingers in the pot and too many players that do not do their job. An incredible waste of time.

Extremely bad service. I was a Flores customer and deposited over $900 to my Flores Card for commuter benefits. The Flores Team showed little to no efforts to reimburse my money. I eventually lost all of it. I strongly discourage anyone to use there service.

Called to verify hearing aids would be covered. I was told yes.I wouldn't have spent thousands of dollars on them without getting approval. I didn't document the persons name. And naturally they don't have a record of me calling. Now I have 2500.00 I'm having to use before end of year. When I called to question denial, I was told I had limited plan ( I knew this, that's why I called to verify ). Bad freaking deal. Should have documented my call. Always document. Use it or lose it !!!! Shame on Flores & Associates !!!
