Alright, folks, let me tell you about this restaurant I checked out. It had a real lively vibe, with families all around and free wifi to keep the kids occupied while adults ate. But let me warn you, it was louder than my Aunt Mabel's snoring, measuring in at a whopping 77 decibels. Good luck having a conversation without shouting.
Now, they had plenty of parking, which is always a plus. And the interior, let me tell ya, quirky, and full of personality. But here's where things took a bit of a turn. The tables, even after a cleaning, were stickier than a flytrap. On a positive note, if you knocked your glass, it didn't tip over.
But hey, it wasn't all bad news. The guacamole was a winner, although they skimped on the portion size. I guess they thought we were on some kind of guacamole diet. And if you prefer dining al fresco, they had outdoor seating available, which is always a nice touch.
Now, the service was friendly, and that's always a relief. Nobody wants to be served by a grumpy Gus or Marybeth. The Carne Asada was the star of the show. Well-seasoned and served with some tasty grilled vegetables. And let me tell you, they had more sauces than you could shake a maraca at. You could have a different sauce for every day of the week!
But not everything was a hit. The veggie taco left something to be desired. It was mostly slimy mushrooms, and that just didn't tickle my taste buds. And as for the drinks, well, we didn't get a chance to try 'em. But hey, maybe they are a hidden gem.
