"Corte Madera is getting a much-needed infusion of traditional yet upscale Mexican food later this month. Cow Hollow’s Flores is expanding with a second location in Corte Madera Town Center. As with the original location, the new Flores will deliver family recipes from different regions of Mexico with an emphasis on family-style dining and Californian seasonality. The cooks notably grind corn into masa by hand every day for fresh corn tortillas to go with roasted meats ordered by the pound. The new restaurant will also have a full bar highlighting rare tequilas and mezcals in a mix of original and traditional cocktails. In other words, yes, you’ll definitely be able to order pitchers of margaritas." - Janelle Bitker

Trendy finer dining. Might be great for an impressive date, but not really family friendly in my opinion. They do have some very unique meals though with great combinations of ingredients. We ran out of water three times, and our chips didn't get refilled. The portions of food were not filling for my family so we won't be back.

I was staying near the Corte Madera town center and this became my go to spot for the few days I was there. Everyone who works there is super friendly and the food is really delicious. Definitely one of the best dining options in the area. I tried the salad and the breakfast burrito, both of which really hit the spot. They have both inside and outside seating. The outside is a partially covered patio and is quite nice to sit in.

I got this Carnitas Super Burrito yesterday. So big it is like 3 portions. I refrigerated more than half. And just cut the half in half. Omg. Good craftsmanship. Solid pieces of Carnitas and you can even see the cheese in the middle! Superb. Burrito and chips and 4 Oz house made killer Guac all for 24 dollars including tip on Doordash

A have come here a number of times for social and business functions. The staff is attentive and intuitive. The food and drinks are well prepared and they have a great selection on the menu.

Seriously so delicious! We visited the restaurant right in between lunch and dinner time. We opted to order from the lunch menu. The menus are similar. It appears that the names of the dishes change and maybe portion sizes. Beautiful decor inside and out. The seating outside looked beautiful and comfy. The day we visited it was freezing out so we opted to sit indoors. Service was pretty good. Staff were very friendly. All the dishes were very pleasing to the eye. The taquitos dorados were phenomenal! I only wish the serving was a little larger. The plantains were cooked perfectly not overly greasy or dry. So sad I wasn't able to try the corn pancakes as they were out. Must be a popular menu item. Will definitely be visiting again when in the area.

We had a wonderful dining experience here on a Wednesday evening. It was very busy and the wait for a table of 5 was long, so we sat at the bar table which turned out to be awesome. The staff was super friendly and they even gave our kids crayons/activities. The food was excellent. My wife is hard to please when eating out…she was impressed with the flavor, presentation and quality of food. Best tortillas. The kids loved their chicken burritos and my Enchiladas plate was delicious. We had the Ice cream Sunday to top it off. The food and staff here are top notch. All smiles and such a great vibe. If you are in Corte Madera check them out!

Google
Service was good not great especially for the presentation that they give. Food on the other hand was sub par. For the price points they give I would expect more flavor and compared to small hole in the wall places and food trucks this compares at the same level or possibly even underneath them. I rate the experience and food all together a 4.3/10

Everything was excellent, fresh hot plates of food, we ate everything and everyone was happy. Carnitas plate was the highlight, perfectly cooked and served. Kids everywhere, very family friendly.

Yelp
The churros and tres leches cake..... OH MY GOODNDNENDSSS!!!! Sososososo yummy I had to talk about it first. I also liked how it didn't taste overly sweet either. Just right! Anyways. I feel like my family had walked in, not that hungry, but we ended up devouring everything we ordered LOL! Especially me. We got the pastor and chicken tinga tacos, quesadilla, and enchilada. Everything tasted flavorful and distinct. I loved how soft and warm and home-y the quesadilla and enchilada were, especially because my mouth had been sore and painful that day. The pastor tacos were personally my fave; the meat was such a satisfying texture and taste. I think it was slightly on the rougher side though. Also! The restaurant itself was decorated really prettily, even the bathroom! There's a seating area that my sister wanted to take pictures at because of how nice the lighting and seating looked hehe

Yelp
The restaurant is very nice outside and inside. Very clean and nicely decorated inside. The outdoor patio is nice as well. The staff was great, no complaints. They gave these fried tomato looking chips that had a sprinkle of Tajin. They were so good! If anyone knows where I can buy a bag, let me know! Our food came out quick as well. I ordered the Quinoa salad and it was really good. My friend ordered the breakfast burrito and the creamy corn. He said there was too much potato; otherwise, the burrito was good. The creamy corn was very tasty as well. I mixed some of it into my salad and it was good. This is a great place to come with friends, a date, or even solo. Plenty of parking since it's located near the outdoor mall. Service was great. Food was good. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
Came for lunch on a Sunday at noon. We were prompted seated on the patio, which was super cute! Lots of succulents and really cute patio furniture. Also, the inside restaurant is also super cute. I was at first a little concerned because it was a hot day, but we were in the shade and there was a definite breeze. Service was good; our server was polite and seemed sweet. I ordered the carnitas bowl, which was delicious. They also provided these cute yummy salty little wheel shaped snacks (sorry I don't know what they're called) for the table in a cute little paper bag. The day after we came, I noticed my cc charge seemed higher than what it should have been. I called the restaurant and explained that I felt I was overcharged for what was ordered. The GM called me back later the same day, listened to my concern, talked over the charges, and then incredibly promptly adjusted the charge. She (Amy who is the GM) even emailed me a copy of the updated receipt(s). To be fair, I should have looked at the bill instead of just putting my card down-definitely not just the restaurant's error. From now on, I'm going to definitely be more mindful of looking at the receipt before putting my card down. This is not the restaurant's responsibility, of course. This type of customer service should be expected, however I definitely didn't expect it. Definitely recommend this location-way more parking (of course) than the city. Also, it's located in a cute shopping center that has Sephora, Urban Outfitters, Crate and Barrell, etc. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
From greeting, to great service, amazing food. The staff was all very friendly, and recommendations for food, and adjustments by chef for my friend...so nice!! Appetizers, main course, cocktails...all excellent! And restaurant was very clean...including the restroom!! Recommend for quick bar eats or table...!!

Claudia T.

Yelp
Met a friend for appetizers and cocktails on a Friday night. Food was good (we had two appetizers) and we had three different tequilas. I was super shocked when we got our bill because it was insanely high. I am a huge fan of tequila so I know how much each drink should have been priced. It bothered me when I was paying the bill, but I didn't want to cause a scene at the moment. The whole evening I felt like the bartender was thinking we were just two dumb women who didn't know any better and he could rip us off. $40 for a reposado is a lot, and he priced the Añejo less than the repo. I understand that restaurants make their money on alcohol, but things definitely didn't feel right and it left a bad taste in my mouth related to Flores. Unfortunately, I won't be back.

Ariana V.

Yelp
I rarely eat upscale Mexican food, but I met up with my friends here for dinner. When I first walked in, I joked that I was underdressed because the space and decor is realllly cute! They gave the wheel shaped chicharones as a free appetizer and gave us extras when we asked. I love the chicharones!! They are very nostalgic for me. We started off with chips & salsa, and their queso dip. The salsas were really good. There was 1 spicy red salsa, 1 verde-type salsa, and a very spicy salsa. Their queso was also interesting (in a good way) and came with tortillas to enjoy with. My friends ordered their passion fruit cocktail, while I ordered the agua fresca version. Both were refreshing! Onto the tacos; I wasn't a huge fan of the carne asada. It was chewy and not as tender as I would've liked. Their pescado taco was wayyy better, but is a $1 extra. For dessert, we ordered the tres leches cake & some custard type of dessert, thinking it was similar to lecheflan. Their tres leches was just okay. It wasn't as spongy and didn't soak up that delicious condensed milk. It also has nuts all over, which my friend did not really like. Their custard dessert was different, and almost flavorless, but the jam on top helped a lot. Honestly, I'm not a fan of restaurants automatically charging for "Employee Benefits". I was a bit turned off once I noticed that on the bill. We still tipped very well, since the service was awesome and they let us chill until they closed. Overall, this restaurant is a pretty good try when in the area!!

Greg C.

Yelp
I did not know much about this restaurant when it opened. It's actually part of a small local chain. I thought it was really good. A couple times I have gone. They have interesting specials and they had a tequila tasting once which was kind of cool. I'm really glad that they Are succeeding and staying open I hate to see a decent restaurant close early. Recommend good Mexican food in nice restaurant.

Christine R.

Yelp
Only Luis Flores can transform this beautiful space (formerly P.F. Chang's) into a paradise spot for locals and out of towners to enjoy. This restaurant is massive, the patio is huge, dog-friendly, and the vibrant colors/decor are very welcoming. IMHO, P.F. Chang's was going down hill, and Luis revived it into a vacation resort minus the beach. It's in a perfect location within a vibrant shopping center, lots of parking - way more parking than SF location. There's free tequila and mezcal tasting on Tuesdays from 4-6pm, and live music every other Thursdays. They serve brunch on the weekends. Staff are friendly and attentive; they always answer the phone. I like their fish tacos. Save room for dessert. Can't go wrong with their margaritas. 'Til we meet again ~ Salud and see you on Yelp (SYOY)!

Yelp
Short ribs were so good! Also, wonderful service & good environment. Highly recommend.

Stephanie D.

Yelp
I came for lunch today and David took great care of me! Their lunch menu offers a good variety of items especially for vegetarians or vegans. Great option for a quick lunch or night out with friends! Thank you for the wonderful service David :)

Daniel C.

Yelp
Friendly and very large Mexican restaurant with an extensive menu and great vegan flexibility. Chips and salsa great, the vegetarian bowl flavorful and the corn with cotija startlingly good/unique. Also great servers who seemingly become fast friends over the course of a meal.

Chandra D.

Yelp
Ambiance was top notch! Great views and decor. The food? Oh, my! On our visit, the food would have made any true Mexican cry. This is wannabe Mexican food and it left a LOT to be desired. The food was just saaaaad. It reminded of Mexican food in states like Idaho, Oklahoma, or Georgia. Californians should not get Mexican food wrong! I don't think I need to return to this location.

Cindy W.

Yelp
I arrived around 3pm, found the bar area nice and quiet. The hospitality of Sam as I sat at the bar for happy hour was friendly and gracious! My tostadas with carnitas were fresh and delicious as well as the house salsa. Sam treated me to a delicious shot of his own concoction and to the chicharrones! So glad Flores has remained here in Marin, a solid choice for fulfilling your south of the border cravings!

Rachel W.

Yelp
So we ended up here due to a complete strangers recommendation. Service was great, food was great, and the outdoor patio was perfect. The only part that sucked was the dead stares from some Snots that looked at us like we just shit on their plates. Long story short. We had our red flyer wagon with us that was carrying our 3yr old. We asked the restaurant first if there was enough space for our wagon, which there was plenty, and they welcomed us. I just didn't appreciate the RBF's. Probably locals too. Oh well. The place overall was awesome! Our daughter loved the corn pancakes! Thank you!

Mona Y.

Yelp
We happened to stay closed by and wanted to eat outdoors and this place was a great stop. Food, service and ambiance was exceptional

Erin K.

Yelp
Coming here on a weekend afternoon (2pm), it was easy to nab a seat. There was plenty of indoor seating and a couple outdoor tables, too. We sat outside so we could have our dog with us. The tables are pretty close together but luckily, our dog was tired (from a hike) and generally a very good girl so she just laid by our feet. I ordered the Sopes de Frijol and had a prickly pear Fresca to pair with it. My husband got the quesadilla de Hongos and huitlacoche and a michelada. I've never had sopes before so I didn't know what to expect but it's like a thick corn flour cup filled with mashed/refried (?) black beans. Topped with salad and avocado and salsa. I enjoyed them! They were simple, refreshing, and filling. There were three under the salad that you can't see in the picture. I think it was perfect for what it was... like I said, I have never had sopes before. Light, filling, refreshing! The prickly pear Fresca was lovely, too. Light, not too sweet. My husband enjoyed his meal a lot too. Our waiter was very helpful and kind. He told us an emeryville location was in the works! Awesome! Decor was beautiful and well thought out. This is a place to bring visitors or family and friends to. We will definitely be back!

Shanae M.

Yelp
I liked Flores! Came in for lunch hour- it was filling up quickly. The vibe is very boho chic. It's got a great feel. The drinks are so Delicious!! We had the corn app, tostada crudo and a few other items I can't remember I just ate them all ahaha I will be back. 10/10 would recommend to try at least if you're in the area. Amazing customer service btw!

Gloria S.

Yelp
Good stuff. Lots of seating Indoor outdoor feel No free chips at tables Portions not much but fresh and tasty Staff friendly and knowledgeable

Danny S.

Yelp
Alright, folks, let me tell you about this restaurant I checked out. It had a real lively vibe, with families all around and free wifi to keep the kids occupied while adults ate. But let me warn you, it was louder than my Aunt Mabel's snoring, measuring in at a whopping 77 decibels. Good luck having a conversation without shouting. Now, they had plenty of parking, which is always a plus. And the interior, let me tell ya, quirky, and full of personality. But here's where things took a bit of a turn. The tables, even after a cleaning, were stickier than a flytrap. On a positive note, if you knocked your glass, it didn't tip over. But hey, it wasn't all bad news. The guacamole was a winner, although they skimped on the portion size. I guess they thought we were on some kind of guacamole diet. And if you prefer dining al fresco, they had outdoor seating available, which is always a nice touch. Now, the service was friendly, and that's always a relief. Nobody wants to be served by a grumpy Gus or Marybeth. The Carne Asada was the star of the show. Well-seasoned and served with some tasty grilled vegetables. And let me tell you, they had more sauces than you could shake a maraca at. You could have a different sauce for every day of the week! But not everything was a hit. The veggie taco left something to be desired. It was mostly slimy mushrooms, and that just didn't tickle my taste buds. And as for the drinks, well, we didn't get a chance to try 'em. But hey, maybe they are a hidden gem.

George B.

Yelp
Great location with easy parking. The food was a bit upscale and very tasty. We ate on the outside patio and found that vey nice. A full five-star eating experiences. Service dragged a little. We were the only ones eating outside on a hot day and felt a bit overlooked.

Teox C.

Yelp
Food was good. Agua frescas were freshly made. Nice decore thoroughly the restaurant with outside seating. Friendly staff.

Christopher S.

Yelp
Flores is located at the corner of the shopping center where you'll find decent amount of (compact only) parking. There is outdoor or indoor available and the outside dining area looked as nice as inside. Went in on a weekday for lunch and service was v v slow. I don't want to think this was normal, and at least the host noticed we had not been attended to for a while after being seated and came over to take the order. Anyway, I got the carnitas bowl and it was good. The chicken taco was already but breast a little dry. Same with my friend's chicken bowl. Guacamole was decent and so were the salsas. But chips don't come to the table standard which is interesting for a sit down place such as this. I would recommend the carnitas here.

Yelp
Just came back from literally the worst happy hour / dinner at Flores. Horrible service no waiters... two bartenders who did the bare minimum , one seemed stoned.. tequila mix was off -bitter..This was my go to for 5 years. Come to find out the manager Amy was no longer there..She kept this place tight.. never an issue EVER. Sam the bartender said she was fired and the "worst manager he ever had". Hmmm , maybe its because she made you actually work and perhaps held you accountable for, you know serving the customer, not being lazy , forgetting to take orders .. you were off your game brother.. but i get it- no manager the place goes to hell. Certainly where Flores is headed. Talked to a big group next us and they agreed. Good luck.. there are better places to go in Marin.. Also the food today was NASTY. But i digress. BYEEEE Flores

Cyn S.

Yelp
So sad... i was so excited tonight! but i received a randon meat that wasnt part of the order and burnt potatoes.

Paul M.

Yelp
We used to come here pre-Covid and had some good meals. We met a friend here for lunch on a Saturday and food was overcooked and boring. I had a carne asada bowl. Steak was dry, overcooked, tasteless and more than likely came from a pre-cooked hot tray. Wife's carnitas taco were the same. Dry overcooked pork with cilantro on a tortilla. Nothing special about the food here. Oh and the salad and or salsa had so much liquid in it watered down the rest of the meal. Service was friendly and attentive and decor is nice. Unfortunately the food fails to live up to the surroundings. Don't know how this rates 4 stars. Maybe people like to cocktails. Update: in their canned response to me (blah blah blah) they couldn't even get my name right. That pretty much says it all.

Linda C.

Yelp
Great service and excellent food. Ceviche, guacamole, beef, pork and shrimp tacos. Fried corn fritter with the ceviche was a surprising touch. Chips were better than my last happy hour experience.

Kelly P.

Yelp
Flores is one of the stops I make every time I come to Cali! I absolutely love their food and each time it keeps getting better and better. Side note: their salsa verde was amazing and I literally could drink the sauce that's how good it was. We ordered tacos and a pork dish. Both were so good and really well seasoned. We also ordered their guacamole and salsa. We loved all the varieties of their salsas. They also have Mexican Coca Cola and it's my favorite thing to get.

Sutona S.

Yelp
This was a pleasant and random surprise! Needed something to eat when we left the mall & Flores was right there so we gave it a shot. Walked in and I'm like " ooooo ok. This is bougie Mexican. Here for it ".... Very beautiful restaurant. Gives luxury vibes but still can go in relaxed clothes. I love it! Customer service 10/10 & our servers recommendations were on point. We tried the guac for appetizer and it literally tasted like I made it at home. I like my guac heavily seasoned with lots of lime and this was spot on. I believe it has garlic too. Chefs kiss. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and my friends got the pork shoulder with a side of rice and beans and elote. I wish I took more pics because we slammed it. We've already claimed this as our new fav spot. We'll be back!

Jackie U.

Yelp
Food has been better than ever! Our waiter was super attentive! Definitely coming back with friends!

Robert W.

Yelp
I've recently moved into the area and seem to gravitate to this location. I've been here a few times and look forward to trying the rest of the menu, but I usually gravitate towards tacos. First I find the interior layout cute and bar area good for happy hour gatherings. There's outdoor seating that provides another seating option. Service has always been good and friendly and have no complaints. They have a few choices of tacos from pork, short ribs, chicken, vegetarian or fish. I usually gravitate towards the carnitas, chicken tinga and pescado. I could eat those everyday all day. A dish I would highly encourage is their civiche mixto. The marinate the the dish is so good, maybe I could be burried in that sauce, but really what enhanced that dish was this flat corn fritata, not sure the formal name, but that was sooo freaking yummy. Again, there are a lot of other options to choose from the menu and look forward to frequenting this place routinely.

Sha G.

Yelp
Happy hour on a Sunday is a rare thing these days. Also rare is empty bar seating at this restaurant. Win/win for sure. The drinks were top notch as was the food. Happy hour Drinks: margarita at $10 and sangria at $8 were tasty! The sangria was not sweet. There's also a tiki option that has special bitters. If you flip the dinner menu, there are many more drink options. The frijoles ahumados was a tasty treat. We also ordered the guacamole at $10. It's the best food deal on the happy hour menu. Food: I'm never disappointed with the ceviche. The seafood has a perfect texture. I also love the slight sour from the tamarind in the sauce. It's a bit pricey at $18 but it's always satisfying. A unique touch is the corn fritter it's served with. There's a vegan mushroom ceviche I want to try next time. The Chile relleno at $22 is a poblano pepper stuffed with spinach and mushrooms. This is served with rice. I really love that the pepper is not dipped in egg and fried. It's a healthier twist. There's a vegan option on the menu too! Head on over for a treat! Happy hour is only served at the bar Monday to Friday and Sunday from 3-6 pm.

Denisse F.

Yelp
Food was good and service was super friendly. Atmosphere is super pleasant and modern. Definitely planning to go back.

Bob S.

Yelp
Not a good experience here. Inattentive waitpersons, ho-hum food, and pricey. But given the location and market here surely you don't expect to get real Mexican anything other than the alcohol, which seems to be a big agenda item. Why bother coming here for a tequila buzz?

Cora K.

Yelp
This place took my breath away!! The outside was magical and it was even more gorgeous in the inside!! We had high hopes for this place and it checked off all of our boxes! I loved the presentation of the food and it was delicious. Our waiter was so nice and friendly. They made comfortable small talk and made sure we had a good meal. I will definitely be coming back, and this time I'll save room for dessert!!

Daniela B.

Yelp
Came to Marin for the day and ventured into this place for lunch. Good ambience and nice staff. It wasn't too busy as we arrived a bit early for lunch. Our food arrived fast and service was very welcoming. Their watermelon margarita was perfection with the mezcal. Highly enjoyed our experience and would recommend to try this place out.

Aurora D.

Yelp
Nice restaurant with a pretty, heated, dog friendly patio. We ordered the veggie bowl and taco plate off the Vegano section and asked for guacamole from the appetizers without cheese, which they accommodated. Everything was fresh but nothing stood out as stellar. I think they need to put a little more thought and creativity into their vegan options to make them something we'd want to return for. Some cashew crema and tastier taco fillings would be nice.

Robert S.

Yelp
Customer service is modest but the price for 3 tacos, $18 is way too much. I would not recommend ordering tacos. They are so small for such a price. I rather go to Taco Bell for 3 tacos than here. The place is romantic like and a lot of people are around. I ended up going to A&W which cost the same price for a papa burger combo.

Ashley S.

Yelp
Good service. Nice ambiance. The food is pretty bland and basic. Was hoping for more. The queso was VERY watery and did not hold and wasn't chewy. The salsa also was very watery with not a lot of flavor. Seemed to be good for kids and families. There were a lot there and that makes sense how it could be a good family spot.

Lauren C.

Yelp
A must try, especially for vegetarians and vegans. It takes a lot for a restaurant to get a full 5 star rating, but this restaurant deserved it. The service was fantastic, waters remained filled the entire time. The food was amazing, the vegan cheese just melted in the mouth. The dips were flavorful. We ordered the tres leches birthday cake which was so delicious with its coconut and peanuts on top! The environment was beautiful. Heater lamps were turned on outside and lively artwork inside. I will be back!

Michele R.

Yelp
Definitely worth a visit. The food was amazing, good cocktails and the ambiance . Didn't make a reservation and was after the lunch rush. Ate inside this visit, although the outside patio is cute it was a 100°, so not the day to stay outside. Ordered: Mango margarita Carnitas Bowl Both were delicious and I regret not looking at the dessert menu but it was so hot just couldn't do it on this visit.

Patrick B.

Yelp
The food lacked flavor, but most of all why I'm not recommending this restaurant is the extra service fees they charge: -delivery fee? I was charged a fee. I placed a to go order. I was charged $.15 of my bill to deliver it from the kitchen to the host station? - employee benefits (4%). So now I'm paying for the servers health benefits? I gave a tip, but I don't see why I'm being charged for something the employer should pay. If it's at the cost of raising the price of each entrée well at least you're not sticking it to us with fees that we should not have to pay. It seems like all restaurants are doing this now and what if we don't want to pay that fee. I just want to pay for the food, sales, tax, and tip. I would ask to see your bill before you pay so you know what I'm talking about. The I'm sorry for the employees there. What other policies are they imposing on their workers

Emma E.

Yelp
I had a lovely dinner here with my fiancé and his family. Our waiter was super attentive throughout the meal, and the service was top-notch from the moment we entered. The decor is lovely and definitely Instagramable. :) The patio is dog-friendly, which my furry friend Matilda appreciated. The meal wasn't super memorable, but the ambiance and level of customer service, and attention to detail were. This is a very family-friendly restaurant, and I recommend checking it out.

Nunya B.

Yelp
The waitress Alejandra ruined our visit here. We came for happy hour but they sat us in the patio because I brought my dog. We asked if we could have the happy hour menu and Alejandra said no, that's only at the bar. I said can we order drinks at the bar and bring them outside? She said no again, without offering the slightest bit of hope. I saw other people bring drinks from the bar outside as well as happy hour only menu items. Alejandra just didn't like us and I could tell she didn't want to lose her table and tip. We got two drinks and paid full price even though it was happy hour lol. When it came time to pay, she hovered over me to see if I'd tip and when I didn't, she stormed off without saying thanks or bye! I'm writing this in hopes that management sees it and fixes her attitude because she shouldn't be getting away with that.

Helen R.

Yelp
Food was good but the chips (not complementary) were "bottom of the bag," and while tasty they are too fragile to hold up.

Susan J.

Yelp
Something here has changed. Very disappointing experience the last two times I visited. The quality has change and service is terrible.

Natalie F.

Yelp
Like many, I am a big fan of the Flores in SF! So when we found ourselves in the North Bay, we decided to swing by! We had little Pepito in tow, and luckily they were very dog friendly (we were even able to sit inside without a problem.. which was good because it was freezing)! Due to some bad scheduling on our part, it was about 3pm when we arrived and it was our first meal of the day. So needless to say.. we were starving by the time it came to order. We got: + Agua fresca: I really enjoyed mine (hibiscus) but E's mango tasted like straight up mango juice. Stick to hibiscus. Due to "Dry Jan" we had to skip their amazing margs... we'll be back :'( -/+ Ceviche: E liked this.. I remembered it tasting better in SF! ++ Platanos: My favorite thing I ordered. Soooo good. Spicy sauce was a great add. + Guacamole: Delicious. Can't go wrong with guac! - Tacos: I orded 1 fish taco and three vegetarians. Not really a fan all the way around unfortunately :( Veggie ones had great sauce but the mushroom nopales combo made the consistency a little slimy. Would not go the taco route next time. + Carnitas Plate: E got this as his main course meal and enjoyed it!! +++++Churros: Do not skip the churros!!! We were so full at this point but the churros here are amazing. Delicious dessert. Service was good all the way around! At one point our waitress disappeared (presumed she went on lunch/break) but another waiter jumped right into action when he saw we had been waiting for awhile. Overall: Fun, hip, dog friendly restaurant. Less chaotic than SF, but somehow I remember the food being much better across the bay...

Yelp
Esau was the cherry on top of our dining experience tonight. He was kind, personable, and extremely attentive. In addition, he made us feel like his only customers, despite having a full house. Three cheers to Emerson as well. He knows how to prioritize and appreciate his staff and customers. One suggestion - keep the bar open later than the restaurant

Yelp
Popped in this spot after seeing Sutana post about it on Tiktok and it did not disappoint! This place is so cute I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the vibes. Customer service by far was outstanding!! I came with my mother on a Friday night. We started off with a Mexican coffee and she couldn't even stop talking about it. Literally the next day she was still talking about how much she loved the drink. For the table we got the guacamole and the ceviche. Both were great and would absolutely get again. I loved the corn fritter that was served with the ceviche. Literally had real corn in it. It was served warm with the cold ceviche it was perfect. Moms got the pork shoulder plate and i got tacos. Two fish and one Carnitas. Carnitas was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. Fish tacos were very good. I would def recommend this spot and I will be back! 10/10!!
