The Cow Hollow restaurant is where you’ll see gaggles of twenty-somethings downing mezcal margaritas alongside families with kids getting hands deep in chilaquiles. "Flores is a good spot for impromptu weeknight get togethers. A big reason to go here is for margaritas, but the food is solid as well. We like the duck enchiladas both because they’re good and because they’re small enough that you won’t have to share if you don’t want to. Maybe split some guacamole, too." - will kamensky

This place always has a good buzz, but you’ll still be able to focus on each other or at the worst, have to lean in a little to hear what they’re saying. "Every show about a tight-knit group of friends needs a diner or a bar where they happen to run into everyone they know. If there were a sitcom in Cow Hollow, Flores would be that spot. It’s a Mexican restaurant that, aside from having great carnitas, crab tostadas, and margaritas, is good for so many different social situations. You could sit at the bar for a date that’s on the lower end of romantic, bring a group that involves dogs to the patio, or even celebrate a birthday at the tables in the back.
