My Husband & I Celebrated our 10 year marriage anniversary today at Floriana & it was perfect! We made reservations online and received a confirmation email the day before with additional information including parking and balcony info. Service was outstanding our server was very attentive through the whole meal. We managed to get a balcony with a great view. The appetizer (black gnocchi), salad (beet and peach), entrees (Sunday gravy & shrimp and scallop risotto), & the drinks were exceptional! The overall bill was ideal for such a great meal, service, location, and occasion. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a special outing!

The food was excellent. This was the best risotto I have in the United States. The filet was cooked perfectly and beautifully presented. The menu has something for everyone and is fairly priced. The dining room is simple but elegant. The music was relaxing and created a very chill vibe. Our party ranged in age from 25 to 75 and it was unanimous that this was a great experience.

This place was amazing! Our server did an excellent job and he gave great recommendations. The drinks were delicious. The food was phenomenal! The duck maybe the best thing I've ever tasted! I will definitely be returning next time I am in Wilmington!

Wife and I went online a little unplanned weekend getaway and the last stop was the riverwalk. She had found this restaurant online and made us reservations the day before for our anniversary. The balcony seating overlooking the river was an absolute perfect view for dinner. It is warm and probably better closer to sunset but the breeze made it better and was so worth it. The staff was amazing and always made sure we were doing good and the food was out of this world. I got the shrimp and scallop risotto and the wife got ravioli in a cream sauce with mushrooms and spinach. We also split a beet salad (they split it for you and its huge) couldn't ask for a better view and experience.

As we strolled along the river, we came across a charming spot with cozy balcony tables that looked perfect for dinner. We were seated immediately, but the service could have been more attentive. The restaurant wasn’t busy, yet our water glasses were empty, and we had to ask another server for our check. That said, the food was fantastic. I had the shrimp and scallop risotto, and it was easily one of the best I’ve ever had.

Returned to the Floriana overlooking downtown Wilmington after 20 years for an anniversary dinner last night, and I cannot imagine anything less than 5 stars for this incredible establishment! I wish I could give 10!!! It’s one of the few places that has the perfect location and view and exceptional cuisine and service. Our date was truly bliss and the only complaint I have is that it had to end. Whether you are seated inside the cozy interior or score a balcony seat, you will happy beyond description with every part of your experience. We started with the bar’s take on a Paper Plane called Discovery Flight-a delicious bourbon-based drink…so good, we ordered a second! The appetizer black gnocchi in lobster cream with shrimp appetizer sounds filling, but was somehow light and so delicious. Handmade gnocchi pillows with creamy dreamy sauce and their complimentary bread to sop it up with fresh bright basil oil…pure magic. Hubs had the tortilloni mignon stuffed with tenderloin in a pomodoro cream sauce that was so lush and smooth. I absolutely loved the halibut with creamy smashed red potatoes, tender baby carrots, and amazing herb sauce and rosemary butter…it was divine! We splurged for dessert and had decadent tiramisu and crunchy, creamy cannoli. How often do you feel like you get more than what you pay for with the perfect view, delicious food and portion size, and service that was so attentive, you didn’t have to ask for a single thing? Thank you, Danielle!!! It was well worth it, and we will return every opportunity we can while this chef, management, and staff are in business!

Dropped in here for dinner and was happily surprised with the service and flavors! Scallops were perfectly cooked and balanced. They could make almost anything gluten free too. Would def come back

Google
Excellent food in a two story bistro setting, with mini veranda tables. The Black Gnocchi is inventive and full of excellent tastes. The Salumi & Formaggio was basic, sparse, not worth the price. The Lamb Gnocchi also had a lot great flavor, but was short on lamb. There is a full bar and a wine list. Service was excellent.

Yelp
First of all I want to say that the HYPE is REAL! It is WORTH it. I had an exceptional time from the music, the lighting, the elegance of the room. Service was fantastic, waiters friendly and gave good advice. They were very attentive, the host is also great she stopped by every table to make sure we're ok & almost everyone that was serving wished me a happy birthday! The food... It was one of the BEST meals I've had The first bite I took was an explosion of yumminess in my mouth... the meat was so tender and coming of effortlessly, and everything else has such a nice flavor. I also had a tiramisu which is one of the best ones I've had in the area. Do I recommend?

Yelp
What a lovely experience! We stayed in NC for our "honey-moon" & this restaurant has been on my list for like four years. We shared we were there for our honeymoon and we got a glass of Prosecco each on the house and they were just so kind about it. We got to sit on the private balcony and it felt so fun and romantic. The view of the water was gorgeous and the breeze kept us from melting lol the waitress was also great! The arancini & Brussels sprouts were to die for. The homemade pesto was also fantastic. Our entrees were also delicious. We'll definitely be back for future special occasions when we are in the area!

Yelp
Wow! Stumbled upon this place as we were walking the Riverwalk and saw the cutest balconies. Just knew we needed to dine here for our anniversary. The food was exceptional and the service was prompt and friendly! The bread was delicious with pesto. The burrata salad and fried brussel sprouts to start were amazing! We ordered the tortelloni mignon and lamb gnocchi - omg! Do not skip this place, it's amazing!

Yelp
Had a late dinner here after a show at the Wilson Center. It's a very atmospheric historic building with a perfect central riverfront location. The interior continues the history vibe with multiple types of dining spaces, including balconies overlooking the river. I chose to sit at the cozy bar, where the staff efficiently handled my order and prepared a very nice cocktail. I started with the field greens salad with sherry vinaigrette. They graciously accommodated a request to add Gorgonzola to this salad. (There's a beet salad with Gorgonzola on the menu, so I knew they had it in house. Beets are nasty, but Gorg is the best!) The sherry vinaigrette was wonderfully tangy, the greens were fresh, the cheese was perfectly mixed in, and there were a few shallots shaved on the top for a hint of bittersweet crunch. The online menu I looked at had a duck pappardelle and I was going to order that, but alas, it's been retired. (One of the owners stopped by to check on things as I was finishing up and said they are gradually refreshing the menu.) Instead, I ordered a gnocchi with chianti-braised lamb. Once I got a taste of that, all thoughts of the duck vanished, since the gnocchi was perfection in a pasta bowl. The entire dish was perfectly executed and scrumptious. Even with Wilmington's varied and strong dining scene, I'd plan a return visit here next time I'm in town.

Yelp
I was actually really excited to visit this establishment as the location is spectacular and you can sit on your own private balcony. Once arriving we were informed by the manager that our table would be ready in 15-20 minutes, so we decided to have a drink at their very cute bar downstairs. The two female bartenders were very sweet and helped us pick which cocktail we would like. A few moments later the manager guided us upstairs and opened the door to this little balcony which was just for the two of us. When we sat down it was quite bright, but the view of the water was gorgeous. You can also view the passerby's which gives something to talk about especially if its a first date. We started off with glasses of prosecco on the house which was a nice way to start the dinner. For an appetizer we got the Black Gnocchi which in my opinion looked like a beautiful dish, but lacked in flavor. The dish had a few pieces of lobster in it, but it was basically flavorless. I wasn't to hungry, so we ordered the Burrata Ravioli and the Zuppa Di Salsiccia. The Burrata Ravioli was honestly very tasty and for a vegetarian, I would approve this dish. It was something different and thats why we ordered it. The Zuppa Di Salsiccia was flavorful and tasty, but it once again was lacking something. For the pricing of the items in this restaurant, I expected and had higher standards for the food. Maybe we didn't order the correct items and I will have to give them another chance the next time I visit. The service was amazing and the view is something that you can't truly get anywhere else. The charm of the restaurant makes you feel like your somewhere in an old italian village. I would give our experience a 7/10.

Yelp
We were new to Wilmington, walking around trying to decide where to eat dinner and we saw the "Half Price Wine" on Sunday sign outside the restaurant! This is what pulled us in but once inside we were wowed! Issac was an awesome navigator for our experience. Friendly and knowledgeable but non intrusive.. We started with a wonderful bottle of wine along with the meat and cheese board. The board had three meats, three cheeses, olives and maple pecans. Additionally, we were served warm bread with a green pesto type sauce. Everything was delicious! For entrees, I had the striped bass over asparagus and risotto and Schweety LOVED his duck gnocchi! The sunset over the Cape Fear River was amazing from our window side table. What a great experience!

Yelp
Perfect spot to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or anything! Best fine dining in Wilmington. Shrimp was great, seafood pasta was great, but the surprising winner was the unique black gnocchi for an appetizer (not pictured)!

Yelp
Food, service and ambiance is amazing. Definitely wait for a table on the balcony. Totally worth it!

Yelp
Let's just say the service was amazing! Ty was knowledgeable, professional, and personable! My choice for dinner was the swordfish and it was average. I should have gone with the salmon. The rest of my party thoroughly enjoyed their dinner; shrimp and scallops risotto, burrata ravioli, lamb gnocchi. Would definitely come back to try some other items and for the service! Thank you again!

JM C.

Yelp
Food was wonderful and the atmosphere was classy. The cocktails were very good. We had great and attentive service. Would definitely go back.

Yelp
Worth the celebration. They had a guava caipirinha which was just right. The pork belly and mussels were great. The restaurant itself is v. the bizness. Actually great to see families and runners and flanners along the water. Walkable to bars and other places.

Yelp
What an awesome space Wish it was warm enough to sit on balcony. Nice wine choices Arancini was really good Duck over sweet potato gnocchi was ok Gnocchi did not have any sweet potato taste Duck was tender but overly sweet Short rib was chuck and also sweet but tender I would give another try maybe we ordered badly

Yelp
A staple white wine tablecloth restaurant along the riverfront of Wilmington. Mostly Italian pasta dishes, everything we got was delicious but did notice it took a little while to get the food out. We had a reservation (recommend) we got there early and they were able to seat us which was nice. A lot of places to check out and hang around before or after you eat here. Balcony tables are adorable but only 2 seaters.

Yelp
Service was okay We stood for a while until the teenage girl came to and got off her phone. We got seated outside on the balcony, which was very nice . The server was kind and welcoming but she recommended a dish that was just "okay" the squid ink pasta It was bland and needed salt and pepper. Also the consistency was just mushy and the crab tasted fishy. Almost like she just told us the most expensive menu item to get a nice tip. I ate all of my food because I was very hungry and it was my birthday dinner. My husband I got the same thing and he didn't even touch his food because he's too kind to send anything back. I also got a nice salad with beats and that was delicious. So I think we just got the wrong thing. The bread and homemade pesto was really delicious and the ambiance is very classy and calm.

Yelp
Unsure of how to write this because it is by far my favorite restaurant in Wilmington. Let's start with the vibe/ambiance. It is perfect, they have several private balconies where you can dine with a friend, date, partner or by yourself. Each one has a great view of the Cape Fear River. The wine is pretty much all Italian wine from what I have noticed, they have an extensive list and do half off all bottles on Sundays. The pictures attached to this review are from my most recent stop. I started with a great Italian red then got their Field Greens Salad. It's made with a sherry vinaigrette that is so perfect and refreshing. For dinner, since I was at the beach, I went with their Spaghetti Neri Al Granchino. It's packed with lump crab meat, heirloom tomatoes, lobster cream sauce and squid ink pasta. A must get!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I visited for my birthday! We got a meat and cheese board as an appetizer, but did not love it. The bread and pesto were AMAZING. I got the shrimp and scallop risotto and he got lasagna we both enjoyed our entrees. Our server was nice and brought us everything we needed. Advice for the balcony: We had no problem snagging a balcony on a Tuesday evening. However, I wish we would have waited an hour to eat. The sun was in the early stages of setting when we first got out there and it was HOT and a little miserable lol. But you can't beat the view, and by the end of the dinner it was a perfect temperature. I don't regret the balcony but I wish we would have waited for the sun to set a little more first. If you're a lady and plan to eat on the balcony you may want to put your hair up. It's windy!

Yelp
Atmosphere was amazing had a table on a private balcony, so romantic. I had the shrimp and scallops over risotto amazing is b an understatement, Sundays gravy was also a huge hit with my husband. The service was outstanding. Definitely returning.

Yelp
Great service to start. Sat at a lovely white cloth table with candle overlooking the riverfront. If you make reservations in advance there are table outside overlooking River. Wonderful selections of appetizers, arancini, beet salad and black squid gnocchi were our choices along with glasses of Italian wine. Had dessert of bread pudding topped off by an espresso martini. Service was excellent .

Noble G.

Yelp
Food and service were both amazing. Balcony seating is perfect for anniversaries. All of the food was great but that burrata salad....... magnifica

Lauren H.

Yelp
The food was very flavorful and interesting. My partner and I had two different types of gnocchi and were delighted with our choices. I enjoyed the variety of Italian wines as well. We didn't have dessert but they sounded wonderful. The service staff were attentive and kept us informed about a slight back up in the kitchen. They could upgrade their chairs (we both had back aches after sitting in the dining room for 1 hour). The location is cute and we enjoyed watching the ghost tours walking by in the historic section of Wilmington.

Yelp
They gave me calamari that wasn't cooked all the way, I've had better at home. Their burrata ravioli was DRENCHED in olive oil with no other flavor than the olive oil itself. It was like a soup of olive oil and the ravioli barely had any burrata cheese in them. My wife ordered a steak that was cooked well but covered unnecessarily in cherries and cherry sauce that honestly ruined the only good thing that came out of the kitchen. Everything was overpriced for what we actually got quality and proportion wise. There are so many better restaurants to eat in this area. Go to Elijah's instead. On the other hand, the service and ambiance were nice, it was just overshadowed by the horrible food.

Yelp
Went for brunch on a Sunday morning - it was too hot to sit on the charming outside balcony tables but the atmosphere inside was very nice. A formally set table with a linen tablecloth which is something you don't see alot of anymore. It's an old historic building but very well kept. Our server was very courteous and pleasant. We were surprised (positively) about the prices - VERY reasonable for the quality of the food. It was obvious everything was made to order. Highly recommend the Italian Sausage Omelet with the potatoes! My friend enjoyed the Croissant French Toast with Bananas and Cinnamon which she said was heavenly !
google avatar

Anthony R.

Yelp
If you are lucky enough to get a table outside, you will have a wonderful evening. Just don't count on the food. The service was great, Sunday is half priced wine. Like the whole wine list!!! The food was ok. But it could have been what I ordered. The squid ink gnocchi with shrimp and the salmon over risotto. But you can go see for yourself.
google avatar

Dianna S.

Yelp
The food and service were phenomenal. Ask for the balcony seat for the romantic experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Once again, the Floriana crew has delivered. Impeccable service, awesome libations, and fantastic Italian fare. We started with the calamari. It was fried perfectly and the marinara was spicy and robust. I had the sweet potato duck gnocci, which was impeccable. My girlfriend had the filet, as she always does and it was cooked to perfection. It's our anniversary today and they gave us a complementary desert. They were awesome as always.
google avatar

Kay N.

Yelp
Wanted to really like this place but it was mediocre at best. 3 stars is for the wait staff, and that is saying a lot. We got the duck breast, it was raw. The shrimp and scallop risotto was okay; however, the scallops smelt fishy. This typically indicates it was not fresh. We left our plates full. Our server was great, which made up for the experience. Conversely, the wait staff that was assisting with cracking pepper and grating Parmesan lacked any formal dining etiquette and any manners. I wouldn't call this fine dining, you're paying for the location not really the experience itself.

Yelp
My husband and I had the best experience at Floriana for our anniversary! We made reservations on a Friday night and were able to sit outside on the balcony. The view is beautiful and has an awning that provides shade. I ordered the gnocchi as an appetizer and the mushroom risotto as an entrée, both were exceptional! The gnocchi was so tender and packed with so much flavor. The risotto was so creamy and packed with mushrooms. Can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Yelp
Floriana was the highlight of my impulsive decision to travel overnight to Wilmington from Virginia. As with all of my travels, I wandered out to find a dining location that looked good. I almost immediately spotted the little balconies around Floriana with an amazing view of the beginning sunset. I saw a few open balconies just an hour and a half out from closing time so I decided to step in and see if I could grab one for the last hour or so of the sunset. The staff was so friendly and informed me that the 2 person balconettes are first come first serve and I could have one for my meal. My view was impeccable on the riverside. The balconies have little doors that they close, so you are truly secluded, but in the best way. Aside from the other balconies of course. I ordered a cocktail- the 1602 made with an arugula simple syrup, gin, elderflower liqueur and lemon. It was perfection. For appetizers I tried the blacked gnocchi and mussels. The gnocchi was fantastic. Flavor filled, but not too heavy. The mussels were a generous portion that I was unable to finish knowing I would be ordering an entrée. I think this was my first experience ordering mussels where every single one was cooked perfectly and there was not an empty or closed shell in sight! I ordered the filet mignon and asked for a red wine recommendation. I was given a nice Sangiovese and my steak was cooked to perfection. This meal was truly one of my favorite meals..like ever. I'm sure the ambience added to the overall enjoyment, but the chef and the kitchen here truly know what they are doing! The sunset gave a wonderful performance and when it was finally done, the café lights on my balconette turned on and I ordered (don't judge me) a chocolate mousse and German chocolate gelato, as well as a champagne style brut and a decaf espresso. . The chocolate mousse was very light, but I cannot say the same of the gelato! Both were fantastic, but obviously I didn't not finish both desserts! 10/10 would recommend. Service was outstanding, food was on 1,000 and the ambiance was perfection. I did peek inside the dining rooms as there are multiple seating areas, and it was just as charming for larger groups or inclement weather. A nice historical tavern establishment feeling with multiple bars.

Yelp
We were there for New Years Eve. With a limited menu to choose for our 5 course meal. These were my choices. Melanzana Siciliana Eggplant, Burrata, Pomodoro, Basil Radicchio Salad Arugula, Walnuts, Apple Vinaigrette Ravioli di Mare Crab, Shrimp, Lobster, Prosecco Lobster Cream Filetto di Manzo Beef Tenderloin, Roasted Garlic Potato, Carrots, Port Demi Lemon cheesecake Unfortunately the food was served cold for the most part. Very small portions even for me. I'm not a big eater. Eggplant was good but a little greasy. Salad was ok. Ravioli was cold and fishy tasting. Beef tenderloin was good, but very small portion. 1 carrots, 2 small slices of beef a spoon of potatoes. The lemon cheesecake was just ok! This meal also came with a champagne toast. We received a shot of champagne! Our waiter was very pleasant and right on top of all our needs. He was the safe in grace of the night.

Yelp
Awesome experience. Sat on one of the exterior balconies. Nice view of the river and downtown Wilmington. Food and service excellent! Definitely will return and recommend.

Yelp
Perfect choice for a date night for any occasion! We had balcony seating and it's the cherry on top for a date night. The service was very friendly and helpful! The food and drinks were as you expect from a place like this, they were spot on.

David V.

Yelp
In general, the food was good. The vegetable risotto was salty but the Sunday gravy was exceptional. The tortelloni Mignon sauce overpowered any hint of meat flavor but the scallop-shrimp risotto was very good. The service was disappointing. Our server seemed to be adverse to clearing plates we pushed to the side or refilling coffee and water. He was not attentive in the least which takes little skill. For the price, we don't see the value with this experience.

Courtney Y.

Yelp
While this restaurant is in beautiful location, it isn't worth the food poisoning that my husband is currently experiencing. He had calamari as an appetizer and risotto and I had the lasagna. We suspect it's the calamari that's made him so sick - I don't like it so I didn't eat any. I had even made a comment about how fishy it smelt when it came to the table. The service is also a bit slow considering the restaurant was empty. We waited awhile for a server after being seated and had to wait awhile for our check even though the restaurant was empty. We each got a seasonal cocktail - a fig rosemary old fashioned - that was good!
google avatar

Rhianna S.

Yelp
WOW! This place was way good. We walked in to see if they happened to have any open seating and we were sat right away! Our server was so sweet and the restaurant had a nice vibe. The food was delish. Definitely recommend! They have little balconies for 2 but you'd have to make a reservation for that!
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing place to bring a friend from out of town or celebrate a special occasion. Not too expensive considering the quality of the food, the ambience (never had a private balcony before!), and the excellent service. The bread, burrata caprese, shortrib ravioli, and tortellini mignon were all spectacular.

John P.

Yelp
Sean the server is the best, whole 9 yards!!! The outdoor seating is beautiful but not as beautiful as my wife The lamb gnocchi is the best pasta i've ever had, never have i seen a dish reach absolute perfection Give me the recipe to the lamb gnocchi!
google avatar

Christa R.

Yelp
Sit outside the view is everything! Feels like you are in Venice The food is perfection from app to dessert Portions are perfect size Not huge Extremely flavorful

James H.

Yelp
BLUF: Floriana is the perfect spot for a date night, the food is good the experience is better The Good: whole staff was extremely polite and helpful. Our waitress was on always there when we needed her but not over bearing. Apps where a highlight of the meal, they came both hot and delicious. The entrees were tasty but nothing amazing 8.5/10. The night was truly made by the waitstaff, dining room that facilitated good conversation with a date (recommend you bring a good one). Portions and pricing felt perfectly fair and allowed for a couple of apps prior to entrees The Bad: it's difficult to find something bad to say about the place. One minor complaint would be the order in which the dinner came. I recognize this is a nitpick but I like to get drinks, bread then appetizers but we received Apps, bread drinks. Finally the meals could have been slightly warmer The Ugly: None
google avatar

Sydney B.

Yelp
Firsts things first - the pesto. It is the best we've ever had. It taste great with the bread and even paired with the burrata appetizer. We were lucky enough to score a private patio for 2 on the water with amazing views and a hint of romance, but be sure to make a reservation if you want to guarantee it. Our meals were phenomenal (risotto and lasagna), and I bet you the dessert would've been fantastic, but we were stuffed! Definitely coming back for the espresso mousse next time. Our favorite part of the experience was our server. She was personable, attentive to details/allergies, and even made some local recommendations. Overall our favorite place that we stopped at in Wilmington. Pricing wise, we got 3 drinks, 1 appetizer, 1 salad, and 2 entrees for $120 - well worth it!

Yelp
Absolutely loved our experience. Service was quick and friendly - our waitress made great recommendations. All the food was delicious, it was well prepared and beautifully presented. The location is beautiful right along the water. Highly recommend.

Yelp
(5 March 2022) I dined here last year during the Port City Taste week but I guess I never wrote a review. I remembered my excellent dinner and wanted to come back again. A year has slipped by quickly. Six of us were seated upstairs and towards the back. It was a little dark, so I would recommend asking for a table closer to the middle of the room. There's tables for two on the balconies, which I think would be fun to do on a summer evening. Jess was our waitress. We ordered cocktails to start and later some wine. She brought out fresh baked bread and a delicious pesto dipping sauce. We had a fantastic dinner. The Port City Taste menu was $40 per person and you pick two items on the menu (appetizer and entrée or salad and entrée) and dessert. There was a $7 upcharge for the more expensive items on the menu, such as the veal chop and filet mignon. Most tasting dinners I've been to, the restaurants have a set menu with a few choices in each category, so it was nice to have the entire menu to make our selections. DH and I had Steamed mussels, and polenta with veal as our appetizers. Others ordered the burrata appetizer and salads. The steamed mussels were excellent and in a light sauce. DH enjoyed his appetizer. The burrata was fantastic (my friend let me have a taste). Entrees: Veal Sugo with pappardelle; pork shank. Our friends ordered the lasagna (huge portion!!), the seared salmon, and goodness, I don't recall the other entrees. Every bite was excellent, as the food was well-prepared and seasoned well. For dessert we ordered tiramisu and espresso chocolate mousse. I had a couple bites of the tiramisu and brought home leftovers. Remembering my meal from February 2021, I had the Black Gnocchi, sea bass; and tiramisu. Best gnocchi I've ever had. Cocktails are on the pricey side (served in small glasses). The place is pretty noisy too. However, for the quality of the food and service, it's worth going here. DH and I won't wait another year to dine at Floriana.

Yelp
The food wasn't very good although 3 out of 6 of us liked the food. I got the duck pappardelle (one noted, tasted like wine), my mom got the swordfish (risotto was very bland but fish was good), my dad got the filet (overall didn't like the flavor combo), one friend got the tortelloni mignon (very good), and my other two friends got the buratta ravioli (also very good). Keep in mind that my whole family cooks and we can be a little nit picky at times. The service was very good though! I really liked the ambiance and if you are lucky and only have two people, the balcony's view is fantastic!

Yelp
What a great experience! I have been waiting to try Floriana for forever, and finally decided that Port City Taste week was the best opportunity to try a number of their incredible menu items without breaking the bank. Two girlfriends and I made a reservation for Sunday evening. When we arrived, we were seated promptly at a great table on the second floor. The restaurant was maybe half full with people all having a great dinner. Our waitress, Nikki, was seriously the best! She had great suggestions for us, helped us navigate the menu when a few items we wanted were not available at the time, and kept us full, happy, and well cared for the entire time we were there. One friend ordered the Arancini appetizer which was very generous in terms of portion and delicious tasting. I had the black gnocchi with shrimp which was fantastic as well. Both friends ordered the ravioli with butternut squash, sage, and walnuts. They both loved it so much that I didn't get to sneak a taste before it was gone! I had the shrimp and scallop risotto which was a huge portion and very tasty. My only comment is that I would have liked a bit more salt in it. The scallops in this dish were seared and seasoned perfectly!! For dessert I enjoyed the tiramisu, and one friend had the chocolate espresso mousse. We both loved them. I ended up taking home half of my dessert along with some of my entree because the portions were so big that I couldn't possibly finish everything. I highly recommend Floriana for a date night or nice night out with friends or family. It is pricey but worth it.

Yelp
Loved everything about this restaurant. Super authentic food and attentive service. The building inside and out definitely gave an old fancy type of vibe. Definitely a great place for a nice dinner for anniversary or date night. Will definitely come by one day for brunch.

Yelp
Wife and I were staying overnight in Wilmington and most places were closed due to Hurricane Debby. We walked around and decided to stop here and were so happy we did. We were not able to sit outside due to the winds yet the inside ambiance was comfortable and we could view the Cape Fear from the window. The food was fantastic, wine selection was even better and the service rounded out the evening. It can be pricey for some yet we had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

Yelp
Best lasagna I've ever had. I also had a really good Mocktail there. The waitress was really nice too. I loved the cute little balconies. I'm giving it four stars, however, because I got stuck in the bathroom for a little while. The wooden doors got stuck to each other and it was really hard to get them open. So maybe work on that.

Yelp
Easy to find, has a great view of the water, and the hostess greeted us when we walked in for our reservation. We ate inside, but the balconies looked really romantic. Their wine menu is extensive, but they do offer a good selection of cocktails, and a few local draft beers. Appetizers are huge and we ordered a total of 3 between our group and all of them were delicious. I highly recommend getting appetizers for anyone dining here. The entrees are mostly pasta, but they do have non-pasta options as well. Everything was delicious. Yes, the portions are on the smaller side, but that's consistent with how people eat in Italy as well. Service was very good, and I would definitely eat here again.
