The 6 Best Restaurants On Las Olas In Fort Lauderdale - Miami - The Infatuation

"The Floridian is the oldest restaurant on Las Olas and one of the oldest in all of Fort Lauderdale. Another edge it has over the competition: it stays open 24/7. Other than that, what you’ll find here is a standard diner-adjacent menu with food that tastes great at 3am and totally fine any other time. You can get pretty much every form of egg as well as burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, and more things between bread. The walls are cluttered with news clippings and photos of famous Floridians. And they’ve got a full bar, too. You won't be surprised to learn that the people-watching gets a lot more interesting as the night (or morning) goes on." - ryan pfeffer

The 10 Best Restaurants in Downtown Fort Lauderdale | Eater Miami

"In a town of bougie breakfasts, snobby brunches, and all that pretension, the Floridian remains Fort Lauderdale’s no-frills diner. If its walls of historic photos and celeb headshots don’t do the trick, its absolutely massive “3 egg” omelets will. Bonus: It’s open 24/7."

The 15 Best Restaurants in Broward County | Eater Miami

"Where Fort Lauderdale’s brunch scene grows seemingly bougier by the minute, this Las Olas classic diner remains no-frills. From its wall of Marilyn Monroe photos to owner Butch often cozying up a table for the morning and mingling with regulars to its massive three-egg omelets (probably more like five eggs) — this is charm and sensory overload."

The 13 Best Old-School Diners and Greasy Spoons in South Florida | Eater Miami

"It’s hard to believe that an old-school diner would be situated among the trendy restaurants on Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas Boulevard, but this diner has been feeding hungry locals around the clock for more than 70 years. All the favorites one would expect could be found on the extensive menu, but its selection of internationally inspired-meatloaf makes this place particularly unique." - Eater Staff

I love a good breakfast, and this place delivered. I went on a Friday morning account 10am and it wasn't crowded. I ordered eggs, bacon, grits, and pancakes and the portions were generous. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. The next time I have out of town visitors is like to bring them here

My wife and I just happened to come across this place as we walking by and decided to stop for a last minute, late dinner. We enjoyed the food and drinks and our server was great too! Our food came out fairly quickly and was very flavorful and plentiful. We'll definitely be back.

Popped in on a random late night with a sweet tooth. Ended up with vanilla canoli cake and 2 perfect scoops of ice cream. All fresh and delicious plus the service was on another level.

The Floridian Restaurant offers a solid breakfast , making it a nice spot for visitors who aren’t in a rush. The service was slow, which might bother some, but the relaxed vibe, live band, and eclectic decor full of flair make it more of a place to linger, talk, and soak in the scene. If you’ve got time and want a laid-back experience with decent food, it’s worth a visit.

We came for breakfast and all the food was good. Some dishes plain but others different from the norm diner food. Everything was fresh. My omelet was very good and cheesy. The biscuit was soft. Burgers were goid quality but nothing special. Service was very helpful but the kitchen was very slow. Busy but not packed and we waited a long time for food. Cool vibe inside.

I had a great experience at The Floridian in Fort Lauderdale! I ordered the Lean Breakfast, and it was exactly what I wanted. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was top-notch. Everyone was friendly and attentive, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Definitely a great spot for a relaxed, satisfying breakfast. Can’t wait to come back!

This place was an absolute gem. We were able to find late night parking on the side of the road, right outside the doors. We were promptly greeted by the server when he came in and took a seat at the bar. It was fantastic to have a place opened so late due to my flight being very delayed. Apparently, this place has been around for the last 88 years! So much history displayed all over this restaurant. I was feeling like jalapeño poppers and chili cheese fries and boy they did not disappoint. Our server was very friendly and personable. There was a lot of diversity to the menu, a something-for-everyone - which is perfect. I would absolutely come back to try other things on the menu. I loved how chill the vibe was there and can't wait to have a little more time there and checkout all the nostalgia!
