Flour Fresh Cream Donut - Review - Koreatown - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"You’ve probably seen Flour Fresh Cream Donut’s eye-catching treats at a few Koreatown cafes (they’re the donut supplier for popular spots like Memorylook and Cafe Upper). But their flagship location is worth a special visit, with its wider array of options for a sweet tooth. This bright pink stall in Rodeo Galleria mall has a pastry window filled with gorgeous, cream-filled donuts decorated with cookie crumbs, powdered sugar, and various fruits. The creme brulee donut, with its crackly torched sugar crust and custard filling, is hard to top. For something less sweet, get the black sesame one, filled with red bean mochi, or the blueberry milk cream with fresh blueberries mixed in." - Cathy Park

The 17 Best Doughnuts in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"Inside Koreatown’s Rodeo Galleria Shopping Center is Flour Donut. These slightly less sweet doughnut varieties are stunning to look at, and delicious upon first bite. The milk cream can sell out quickly thanks to the unique flavors and pillowy consistency. As a bonus for LA dwellers, there’s a parking lot." - Mona Holmes

My first Crème Brûlée doughnut was in Seoul Dunkin. I was not sure I'd ever taste one in US. Visiting from Chicago, I had to come here. I was happy to taste my fav doughnut again. Small Korean bakery, delicious bakery items. I ordered classic and matcha Crème Brûlée. Wow. Located inside Rodeo plaza! Cute places to sit.

Best doughnuts in town, loved not too sweet and cream very smooth. The doughnuts are very soft and tasty with the different types of cute designs! The strawberry doughnut is highly recommended!

Fresh Cream Donuts... Can't say that I'm familiar with them. Flour Fresh Cream Donut is a local Korean bakery located inside New Rodeo Galleria. It's not the biggest of venues, there is a small seating area, and they serve coffee, tea and sandwiches as well. I came around 3:30 on a Wednesday, they were almost sold out! The lady that helped me was very polite and friendly. I think she was making another batch or prepping for the next day. I could tell the amount of care and dedication she put in to her craft by the way she handled the donuts and the packaged my order. These donuts were brilliant! They don't taste like your typical American Donuts which I find can be heavy, filling and too sweet. These were soft and spongy with a plush texture, filled with light flavored Cram that was not too sweet. At $5 a donut they are a bit on the pricey side, but justifiably so. They look, feel and taste like High end donuts! #PremiumDonut: ~ MATCHA BRULEE - 5/5 ~ SMORES - 5/5 ~ COOKIES N' CREAM - 4.5/5 ~ CREME BRULEE - 4.5/5 I'd love to try the entire menu! Most definitely gonna stop by when I'm in the area...

Google
This place is a cute little shop inside a mini mall with a large free parking lot. The donuts are fluffy and have unique, tasty fillings! The creme brulee is a must try, but my favorites were the black sesame and the sweet potato! I also recommend trying either the blueberry milk cream or strawberry milk cream.

Yellow Box - 4 pack w/ Boston Creme - 5⭐! Creme Brulee - 5⭐! Strawberry Milk Cream - 5⭐! Tiramisu - 5⭐! I don't remember when I learned about Flour Premium Donut. It had been on my "saved" list for ages but like lots of other places, I hadn't found time to stop by until recently. I am so glad I ventured over! These are some incredible, high-quality donuts. I think Korea must love filled donuts because Flour Premium is not the first place in Koreatown I've been to that almost exclusively features cream filled donuts. They sell the donuts individually or in a yellow box or a pink box. They all looked so good and I couldn't pick just one so I went with the yellow box, a 4 pack. There is also a beverage menu and lots of seating to sit and enjoy a coffee and a great donut. The color scheme is fun, pastel and creates a warm, welcoming environment. Each donut was filled with flavor. My favorite was the strawberry cream but honestly, I would order all of them again. The different fillings are enticing and creative. The dough is chewy and fresh. The dough is more substantial (higher quality) than an average pink box style donut. They have a great balance of filling versus dough. Overall, just a great, premium donut experience. They are located in a galleria style mall where there are multiple booths/vendors selling all kinds of things, not just food. The parking lot is large and even though it was full, I had no trouble finding parking. The staff was friendly and curious about why I was taking pictures. I explained I like to do food reviews and they shared with me that Flour Premium was preparing to expand to a larger store. I can't wait to see where they open up next.

Google
Part of a collection of shops and stores! When you enter the main building the shop is on the right in light pink. There’s a big parking lot for the space but parking can be competitive with the restaurants in the area on the weekends. These are light and fluffy yeast donuts. We really enjoyed the strawberry cream and matcha crème brûlée donuts. They particularly good together as the strawberry helps balance out and lighten the “heavier” matcha brûlée. We also got the classic crème brûlée which was good but a little more one note than the other two donuts. Overall the donuts were not overly sweet, the crème brûlée on top can make it feel heavier and more sugary but that’s expected. Would definitely come back again!

Google
Their donuts are delicious. The creme brûlée is definitely my favorite. I wish I lived closer to go there often.

Google
I was worried they would not taste as good as they look but that was definitely not the case. I tried the Matcha Creme Brulee, Coffee Creme Brulee, the Strawberry and Cream and the Tiramisu. All were delicious with the coffee creme brulee being my favorite. Too bad there arent more locations throughout the state.

Yelp
If there are six stars i would give it. As you can see there are three donuts because we were so excited we ate one before i can remember to take a pic. The dough was light and fluffy. But also has a bite, a little chewy bite. The one we jumped right in has cream filled, layer of mochi and then the donut outside with dusted matcha or something. We also had the strawberry filled one and they were just so good. Perfect dough, the cream is light and not heavy, and nothing is super sweet like typical american donuts. Its not cheap but worth every penney for me. Its located inside an old Korean mall, it needs a better location and better exposure. This place is a gem.

Yelp
The hype is real. I tried both the blueberry and strawberry cream donuts and enjoyed the cream and chewiness of the donut. The blueberry cream was more memorable. Will be back to try the creme brulee flavor one day! Be sure to arrive early. The first time I came, they were almost sold out and only had 2 flavors left. Parking is very easy!

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem! The donut shop is located inside a market but there are seats available. I ordered the sweet potato, strawberry, and cookies & cream donut. They were absolutely delicious and not too sweet. It was very easy to eat because I wasn't overwhelmed by sugar. The cookies & cream was my favorite and I definitely will be back to try the misutgaru! I came on a Wednesday around 2pm and there were plenty of flavors left except for the misutgaru.

Yelp
Service was really sweet and quick they have a counter with indoor seating. Lots of Korean elders having coffee and donuts with friends. The donuts are amazing and have the mochi taste. Love the designs It's located in the rodeo galleria has plaza parking

Yelp
Wow what an amazing place! They have the yummiest donuts and the ambiance is so pretty inside! The staff is very nice! Daniel was helping me out and he was kind enough to explain the different flavors they have and he was super friendly! He needs a raise! The decor is super cute! It's so pink, I love it! Thank you for the great experience! I recommend this place to everyone! Will be back very soon

Yelp
Flour Fresh Cream Donut is located inside New Rodeo Galleria with ample of parking. I was pleased to find a wide selection of donuts still available during lunch time on a weekday. The donuts were so airy and fluffy with a creamy and light filling. These unique donuts are beautifully made and lightly sweetened, perfect for those who don't like their sweets too sweet! The strawberry milk cream is a must for me. The matcha crème brûlée filling was strong in flavor in which I didn't mind since I love matcha. The sweet potato cream filling had a thicker texture consistency which I wasn't expecting but didn't necessarily dislike. The cookies & cream donut wasn't my favorite because of the texture of cookies inside the cream filling, but I thought it was still good. When I'm craving for some Korean-style fresh cream donuts, I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
If you're a fan of fluffy, generously filled donuts, Flour Donuts is a must-visit! I tried their crème brûlée donut, and it was absolute perfection--crispy caramelized sugar on the outside and rich, creamy filling inside. My personal favorite, though, was the misugaru donut--filled with mochi and red bean paste. They also offer a limited daily selection, ensuring everything is fresh and top-notch. The staff here is incredibly friendly and patient. They walked me through their menu and helped me pick the best flavors to try. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their work and truly want you to enjoy your experience. They are a small but charming shop. The interior is pink and clean, it a great spot to grab a quick treat. While there's limited seating, it's perfect for takeout or enjoying your donut with an iced Americano on the go.

Yelp
Flour Fresh Cream Donut, is located in the cutest section of Korea Town in Los Angeles. It is in a mall area, parking is free in the lot. Make sure to enter the building called Rodeo Galleria. Once you find it, you will be ever so happy. These are not typical donuts. They are Korean style. All our very fancy and most are stuffed with something yummy. They are always fresh so fresh that I can't even tell you their hours because they make them in the morning and when they are gone they close. The place is super cute all in pink and gold. It is kept so very clean and it is just a calming place to be. The service is wonderful. They can tell you all about their cream donuts. You will be in heaven. We have tried their Creme Brulee - Burnt glazed topping generously filled with a light cream. it is amazing. Their Sweet Potato was not my favorite and they don't have it that often so you really are not missing much but if you like sweet potato you may love this. Their Blueberry Milk and Cream is so good. It is filled with fresh fruit inside and on the top. The whipped cream inside the donut is amazing Their Misugaru (multi-grain) is so good. I expected not to love it, but I did. They are soft with a great powdery topping and stuffed with cream, red beans and mochi. This I will order again. I can lie to myself and say it is breakfast and healthy. There is nothing low calorie here so if you are on a diet stay away. There is nothing not to love about this place. These are not your typical donuts.

Yelp
We love Flower Fresh Cream Donut. They always have a great selection of donuts you will not find elsewhere. The service is just great and they will help you with donuts for which you may not be familiar. They know all about each donut and they are all so good. Located in K-Town in a very small mall area. Parking is free in the lot. The place is so very clean and the prices are reasonable for what you are getting. The donuts have the best fluffy and creamy filling inside. They are just the best.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday, around 1pm and they still had a good selection. I got a strawberry milk cream, blueberry milk cream, cookies & cream, Boston cream, s'mores and tiramisu. They were all delicious. Fluffy and light with a little chew. It's hard to choose a favorite...the cookies & cream is for Oreo lovers and was rich. The strawberry and blueberry milk creams were the least sweet of the ones I got. The smores and Boston cream were similar (both had cream filling). Tiramisu was similar but the cream cheese filling was a little sweeter and heavier, but still tasty! I need to try the brulee flavors when I come back. Plenty of parking at Rodeo Galleria. When you walk inside you'll see this spot on your right.

Yelp
Love love !! Every times if I do travel to LA , 2 places I have to stop 1 .. cars wash, and 2 flour fresh Cream Donuts , specially Holiday right now season , it is a great gift to bring to your friends and family.. yummy in my Tommy.. .

Beth W.

Yelp
Came back recently and got four new donuts: sweet potato, blueberry cream, black sesame, and matcha creme brulee. I'm not the biggest matcha fan, so that was my least favorite. That being said, it was a nice strong matcha flavor and an excellent caramelized sugar crust. The star was the sweet potato for me. So delicious - the inside was perfect, almost a whipped light sweet potato cream. Am so excited for their new location closer to our home!!

Yelp
I wanted to try these donuts for a long time so my expectations were high... and met. I actually wanted to try 7 different types, but my husband did not let me :( Ok, so we stuck with macha brûlée and misugaru ones and I was surprised. The latter had mochi and red beans filling and it was sweet in the right amount. The matcha brûlée was as tasty, the filling was airy and the matcha flavor was pleasantly noticeable. The dough was kinda chewey in a good way, we Koreans call it "jjorgi", it was great. Totally recommend it.

Yelp
Exclusive Foodie Insider TIP!!! If you are from So Cal, you have probably visited Ktown LA's most popular coffee shop About Time Cafe! Everyone has mixed opinions about their coffee but their space is beautiful and when you walk-in there is a display case full of fancy donuts. Those donuts are insanely delicious but each donut is $9!!!! I know where those donuts are from!!! Check out @flour_donut inside the Rodeo Galleria Shopping Center 833 S Western Ave, Ste 38, Los Angeles, CA 90005 . It's the exact same donut but for half the price!!!!! Half! That means you can get two donuts without any guilt. On top of that, you have to try their insanely delicious sandwiches made with same donut outer. On this visit, I got the #tiramisu with the #espressocream filling, #multigrain with #mochi and #redbeanpaste inside, fresh #blueberry cream donut and lastly the #blacksesame ! All delicious with less guilt because I already saved some money. Hehe. On top of that, this spot made me love their #eggsaladsandwich too! Telling you it isn't the prettiest spot but it has free parking, the freshest fluffy donuts and half the price. Worth it! Recommend coming here. Yelp
I've had Flour Fresh bookmarked for months now and I finally stopped by this week and tried them. I was very impressed by the quality of the donuts and that they weren't overloaded with sugar. I ordered the Strawberry, Blueberry, Apples and Cinnamon and the fluffy twist donut for $20. They are located inside of New Rodeo Galleria so there is parking outside. I definitely recommend supporting this business and trying their donuts!

Yelp
I must have died and gone to doughnut heaven. The donut texture is fluffy with a pleasant slight chew, and not oily or too sweet for the most part. Most were priced $4-5 each but I find it worth it for the quality of the ingredients. Our favorites are the misugaru (roasted soybean) because it's mild and nutty and has a chewy filled mochi inside. The black sesame is also intensely nutty with a chewy mochi inside too. My wife loves the sweet potato cream the most because it has fresh sweet potato puree along with milk cream, and it's the Korean/Japanese sweet potato that's delightfully sweet and nutty. Tiramisu had plenty of rich cocoa powder accompanying the tangy cream (probably cream cheese mixed in it?). The bitterness of the cocoa was the best together with the cream. The strawberry milk cream had a small amount of strawberry pieces but the cream was so milky rich yet light at the same time. The blueberry one is the exact same except with a few blueberries so I slightly prefer the strawberry one. Matcha creme brulee had strongly flavored matcha cream but I'm not too much of a fan of the sugar crust top. I might still try the regular creme brulee next time to compare the regular custard. Our least favorite was the apple cinnamon because the icing was too sweet but the presentation was beautiful with the pieces of apple inside. We saw quite a line build up after us at 10am so I'd come early since they open at 9am until they sell out! The parking lot is nice and big so it wasn't any trouble finding parking. The mall also has other interesting stalls like a kimbap and udon one if you need some savory to offset the sweet.

Yelp
Light, fluffy and creamy donuts. I liked how simple yet pleasant the strawberry and blueberry donuts were. The cream is so fluffy like a cloud while the donut itself is soft but a little chewy, which I think they get from using glutinous rice flour or mochiko. The black sesame one is also very solid too. The cream feels heavier than the strawberry and blueberry donuts, but I liked that they had actual red bean filling mochi inside. I only bought 4 my first time thinking I could finish them within 2 days but think I could have gotten away with 6 because the strawberry and blueberry ones are so lightweight. I got here a little bit before 10am on a Saturday and it was not busy at all. I can't wait to come back and try their other flavors!
google avatar

Patty C.

Yelp
This place is inside a market, so it's not a free standing shop. It's pretty in pink and they have patio furniture for seating. The donuts look pretty, and taste good. They're very fluffy, and not overly sweet. Definitely worth a try.

Yelp
This is where Memory Look, About Time, Cafe Loft, and Cafe upper get their yummy donuts‼ BEST and most underrated donuts in LA! They make these donuts fresh and sell out everyday These are definitely worth -- I could see myself getting a boxes of these donuts for a birthday or other occasions. I will be back to try more flavors hehe Creme Brulee, Blueberry Milk Cream, Sweet Potato, Misugaru (mochi & red bean), Black Sesame, S'mores, Bacon, Apple Cinnamon, and Boston Cream -- All of these donuts were SO SO GOOD!!! So flavorful without being overwhelmingly sweet The dough & cream were also all sooo light and fluffy! Mine and Joanna's favorites were the creme brulee & sweet potato, and our roommates were creme brulee and misugaru Strawberry Latte -- So yummy and smooth! I liked how small the strawberry bits were and how well it seeped into the milk Chocolate Latte -- Tastes just like a chocolate milkshake! Felt a little nostalgic while drinking it bc it reminded me of my childhood LOL Instagram - @joangela.eats

Yelp
These are not your typical yeasted donuts-they're better. Flour Fresh Cream Donut is a Korean bakery, located within the New Rodeo Galleria. Their donuts are ultra soft, filled with pillowy, fresh creams unlike anything you've had before. Flavors include Korean favorites like misugaru and black sesame, along with American influences like bacon and s'mores. The donuts are $5 each, but the price is justified by the high quality of ingredients. Staff were polite and helpful, despite being very busy. They have a small amount of seating in their section of the fluorescent lit shopping center, and serve coffee/tea as well. My favorite overall was the Coffee Brûlée. The crunchy top tasted of caramelized brown sugar, and the soft cream within was rich in espresso flavor. The Sweet Potato Cream was more subtle in flavor, filled with an earthy, authentic sweet potato puree. The Misugaru was nutty and malty, with a chewier dough than the other donuts. Skip the Fluffy Twist. It was dense, heavy, and a bit wet. I enjoyed the Black Sesame, but think it would be better without the mochi surprise within. I loved the fresh whipped cream on the Blueberry Milk Cream, but wished it contained more blueberries either on top of, or inside the donut. Despite critiques, these are still some of the best donuts in Los Angeles. Worth going out of your way for.
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
First they do not have everything on the menu. It's basically whatever they got, so don't have your heart set on specific flavors until you know they have it. Second, the drinks are not worth it because it isn't that great and overpriced. Also, super cheap with napkins. So the good? The donuts are amazing! They are light but heavy with all the sweets. They are absolutely delicious and amazing! Only come for the donuts and take it to go. Parking is not an issue here ever so don't worry

Jin C.

Yelp
Donuts taste awesome. The cream is fresh. Good customer service. Nice and cozy store. The store is inside the indoor mall with a few tables in open environment.
google avatar

Eunice C.

Yelp
I'm not a fan of donuts, but this place is must. It's not greasy, and they have unique flavor such as tiramisu snd misugaru. These are the best/special flavors and you must try Tiramisu: cheese cream+ sour cream tastes filling (cream) inside Misugaru: sweet cream+ mochi+ red bean inside (surprised)
google avatar

Verna C.

Yelp
I heard that a lot of popular cafes source their donuts from here, but mark up the price to $8-$8.50 a donut which is ridiculous, so I knew I had to try it directly from the source! Came around 11am on a Saturday, and parking in the Rodeo Galleria lot was free and convenient. By the time I arrived, tiramisu was already sold out and matcha crème brûlée had two left in the display, so you definitely should arrive early for the best pick of flavors! There are a couple of tables for you to enjoy on the spot, but mostly grab-and-go. Got a box of 4, which was nicely packaged in a cute yellow box - misugaru (red bean + mochi), strawberry milk, black sesame, and matcha crème brûlée. The donuts were the ideal not too sweet - Asian mom approved! Personal favorite was the black sesame, which I was surprised to find out had mochi inside. At $4.50-$5.50 a piece, it's definitely not cheap, but way better than the $8 price point.

Yelp
This place is really great! In fact I can't wait to return! It's tucked away inside a market but it's quite easy to find. There is free parking and plenty! Though it may be different if you go at night. I went in the early morning on a Thursday. I got the strawberry cream and the matcha brûlée. Both were amazing and not super sweet. I thought for some reason the strawberry cream would be more strawberry, like have a strawberry cream or strawberry pieces inside. However it's just regular cream inside and the only strawberry part is the strawberry topping. The matcha was a nice surprise though. You can taste the bitterness of the matcha, just a little which I actually liked. The top of really crispy with the brûlée top. Overall I am definitely bookmarking this place as a recommendation for anyone going to ktown. Definitely will be back!

Yelp
Randomly came across this store and decided to try their donut. We decided to try the s'mores donut and I immediately fell in love. It's not your typical American style donut. It has fresh cream inside and it's served cold. Bread is super moist and is not "bready" like you typically expect from American style donuts. It's more "doughy" and "chewy" like typical Korean style baked goods. It's just sweet enough where you don't feel sick or nasty after finishing it. If you are looking for that Korean style dessert, I would actually highly recommend this spot!
google avatar

Shelly W.

Yelp
/)/) ( . .) ( づ wow wow wow!!! We had strawberry milk cream, Creme brûlée, black sesame and matcha donut. The dough was very chewy, not oily and very light at the same time. The cream inside the donuts was light and not too sweet but also not too light of flavor. Especially in that black sesame donut was a mochi inside wow. I would come here again any time. Very fresh and delicious. FYI: It's a bit hidden in the plaza inside.

Yelp
Best Korean creme donuts!! They have a lot of variety ranging from matcha brulee, blueberry milk creme, and tiramisu and more. Its located in a shopping center with lots of parking. They sell out very fast on weekends. One weekend I went around 4 PM and everything was sold out, today I went around 12:30 PM and they still had alot of donuts. My favorite is the blueberry milk creme and tiramisu. Its not too sweet so its perfect. I recommend coming early. Super yummy!!

Yelp
So yummy! Absolutely love these donuts, all the flavors were so unique and amazing. Not overly sweet, if that's your preference.

Yelp
I heard that the viral memory look café in Los Angeles, actually buys donuts from this place. The eight dollar donuts that you would buy at memory look, are only about 4.5 per donut at this place. The atmosphere of the place is pretty cute, it is indeed, in a small mall area, so it is not its own single store from the outside. It is within a place with many stores. Service was pretty fast, they packaged the donuts pretty well, and were able to answer my questions about the donuts. For example, I was pretty cross between the Matcha Brulé and the sesame doughnut but while they both sounded great, the sesame donut had a mochi filling which created a wonderfully chewy texture! While the vibe of the memory look, café is mainly for studying, if I were to just go for the donuts, I would go here again, so I could avoid the long lines and overly expensive donuts at memory look.
google avatar

Adalicia G.

Yelp
I love how their cream donuts aren't super sweet. I got a Sweet Potato donut which sounds weird (to the average joe) , but it works. It's a Korean Sweet Potato so it's not orange. It would make a nice breakfast generally speaking. I also got a glaze donut which is actually my go to. (A creme burlee for the bf, which is enjoyed.) But I preferred the Sweet Potato and hope to try the other berry ones in the future. This place is located in a swap meet kind of place. You go right through the main doors on the right. See pink and you've found it. The people are nice and you can see the care that is taken with handling every donut and box. It's Sweet (pun intended)
google avatar

Cesar T.

Yelp
$5 donut, I don't think so. There is nothing that stands out about this donut to justify the cost.
google avatar

Victoria C.

Yelp
This place has one of the best donuts I have tried! I'm so glad I was in the area and made all efforts to stop by here on a weekday around 4 PM. I was afraid they were going to be sold out of donuts, but there were still a decent selection of donuts left. I tried the creme brulee, matcha brulee, blueberry milk cream and misugaru (mochi and red bean filling). These were priced $4.50 - $5.00 each a bit on the pricey side, but cupcakes, cookies and the like are all around this price these days, so I can't really complain. The donuts are so delicious! They are very light and the cream is not too heavy and sweet. The mochi and red bean filling in the misuguru were the perfect complements to each other. Service was great as well! The staff members were friendly and took the time to explain the flavors. I will definitely come back earlier in the day to try the other flavors!

Yelp
I work in a clinic and a patient of ours brought a box of these delicious donuts and their donut sandwiches. Let me just tell you, I'm in the process of eating these treats and decided to run to Yelp and let the world know how goooooooood these are! I had the iconic creme brulee donut and half of an egg salad "donut" sandwich (no, it's not a sweet donut, more like a savory fry bread). Let me start off by saying that I did NOT expect the egg salad donut sandwich to taste as good as it did! Lettuce and egg salad sandwiched between a savory fried donut (not sweet!) It almost tasted like an In n Out burger because I think they use Thousand Island? IDK, all I know is that it was soooooo good, and I'm not an egg salad person. The Creme Brulee donut, guys! Scratch that, ANY of their donuts will surely make your eyes roll to the back of your head. The donut was nice and soft with a deliciously thick cream filling that you could tell was fresh. It is sticky so make sure to have a wet wipe handy! There is a box a few feet away from me and I'm tempted to take another despite being on the verge of a food coma. I would definitely go out of my way to pick up donuts and sandwiches from Flour Fresh (Open one in Pasadena, please!)

Yelp
OH my gosh! I remember the first day last year I tried this donut. One of my friends brought me a box of four when I first moved back to LA. I'm not a big fan of cream donuts so my expectations were quite low... but as she cut the donuts for me to try... BOY oh BOY! I could not get enough! My favorite is the misugaru hands down! I can say my life has improved with this donut in my life. It's a little nutty on top, but I'm a sucker for mochi and red bean filling.... In addition to that there's this light creamy filling to tie everything together... once again prior to this donut ... I was not into cream, but this donut has opened me to being a cream donut girly! I've tried the cookies and cream, sesame, matcha, Creme brulee, tiramisu, misugaru, and smores (sold at about time)... all are good but my favorites are the one with the mochi filling! I recently went into the store that's tucked inside rodeo galleria. I lowkey wanted to gate keep so the lines don't get too long... but that would be a disservice to the kind staff! I don't know the names of the staff but the lady at the register I had such a welcoming smile and presence! Every one of my friends I've showed this place to has loved it! They describe the donut as being better than Disney beignets! I agree! And will continue to show all my friends this place!

Yelp
Hidden gem tucked away inside rodeo market in Ktown. Not too sweet; just perfect donuts! They are big so it's shareable~ grab yours before it sells out for the day! Even the box on my way home smelled so good. My favorite was the strawberry one. Service was quick with no wait time. Easy huge parking lot.

Yelp
Seriously the best subtly sweet cream-filled donuts What we ordered: - Misutgaru (multigrain powder) - Black Sesame - S'mores - Strawberry Milk Cream - Sweet Potato Cream My first pick would be the black sesame and misutgaru for my second choice since they both had chaldduk (sweet rice cake) inside, and the not-too-sweet cream filling was so smooth and delectable Of course, the other flavors were all very tasty as well Oh, and they also sell pet donuts but it was sold out by the time I got there on a Saturday afternoon so I suggest going there early to get your fur babies some yummy treats along with your donuts

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place. Looove doughnuts but not these. Did they give me stale doughnuts or was it over proofed? It was a tough bite on all three flavors. Strawberry flavor inside was good. Don't get the hype.

Yelp
Creme brulee - fried donut taste with moderately sweetened creamy custard filling, I would have liked it better without the sugar topping (which made it a tad bit too sweet for my taste) but then it would not be creme brulee anymore LOL, not greasy at all Tiramisu - definitely for dark chocolate lovers like me as donut was topped with cocao powder, I loved the bitter + savory (from the sweet and salty cream cheese filling) combo, coffee flavor not strong Strawberry milk cream - definitely my favorite because I love the regular old fried donut with light whipped topping and creamy moderately sweetened custard, the powdered sugar added a nice sweet/sour touch Matcha - I stored this one in the container and did not touch it till evening so the sugar topping made the breading a bit soggy so don't make the same mistake!! enjoyed the light and moderately sweetened matcha custard, pretty strong matcha flavor with bitter note! Service - quick and nice :D, they gave me freshly baked donuts that just came out of the oven rather than the ones on display!, lots of tables and seating for dine-in and studying too, came here at 10:30AM on a Wednesday and there were still plenty of donuts of all options available. Located inside a small Korean mall, easy to locate, lots of parking spaces! Went to some popular coffee shops in Koreatown (MemoryLook, Upper Cafe, etc) and noticed that they sale the exact same donuts for slightly marked up prices ranging from $8 to $9. Would definitely come here again for the fresh and cheaper batches!

Yelp
There aren't many donuts I've met that I didn't like. But lately, I'm not quite as fond of the overly sweet, greasy, & heavy versions of the treats. Sooo.....what's a life-long donut-loving girl to do? Just keep searching for that perfect donut (strictly for research-purposes, of course)! When I first heard the name, "Flour Fresh Cream Donut," I thought, "with a name like that, these donuts have GOT to be good!" "Flour Fresh Cream Donut," here I come!!! Located in the "Korea Town" area of Los Angeles, "Flour Fresh Cream Donut" is tucked away from plain sight in busy "Western Shopping Plaza." You'll need to park in the (free) parking lot, & (unlike many of the other businesses in the plaza), you enter into the large building marked "Rodeo Galleria." Once inside, you'll find the bright & cheerful pink & gold shop, with employees who are just as cheerful & kind. Trust me: When you find this hidden gem, you're in for a treat! If you're expecting the typical fried, greasy, heavy, overly-sweet donuts, think again! "Flour Fresh Cream Donuts" are what's known as "Korean-Style Donuts," & are light, fresh, fluffy, & not overly-sweet or greasy. Unfortunately, I can't say which was my favourite, because ALL of them were delicious! Curious? Here's what I've tried so far: * Creme Brulee - Burnt glazed topping generously filled with light cream. * Sweet Potato - Limited-Time Only Flavour-of-the-Month. Filled & topped with actual sweet potato. Good, but wasn't my favourite. * Blueberry Milk Cream & Strawberry Milk Cream - Both topped & filled with fresh fruit & generously filled with light whipped-type cream. * Fluffy Twist - Similar to a typical twist donut, but smaller, less greasy, less heavy, & more spongy. No filling, but topped with a delicate cake-like castella crumbs instead of sugar. * S'mores - Surprisingly balanced, not overly-sweet chocolate frosting, generous cream filling, & topped with Teddy Graham cookies & a toasted marshmallow. * Misugaru (multi-grain) - I had no idea what to expect with this one, but it was soft & spongy, with a unique powdery topping, & filled with a light multi-grain cream, red beans, & mochi. Probably the least sweet & most unique. An unexpected pleasant surprise...so good, I actually went back a second time just for this donut! I hate to admit it, but I actually stopped by twice in two (2) weeks! Yes....these donuts were THAT good. Lucky for me, they're not anywhere near OC! If you'd like to try a different donut experience, definitely check out "Flour Fresh Cream Donut!"

Yelp
Oh my goodness these are the best donuts I've ever eaten in my life. Came at 10:30 on a Tuesday and they still had all their donuts and there wasnt much of a line. Service was nice! Located inside a swap meet-esque building with a parking lot so you dont need to worry about street parking. All the donuts are such a reasonable price for such high quality flavors! The dough is sort of chewy (in a good way) rather than fluffy. Every donut we got had some sort of filling and a generous amount of it. Each donut is perfectly sweet (as in the Asian peak compliment of being not too sweet). I would come again in a heart beat. Highly recommend (:

Yelp
Located and hidden inside a galleria! They are open Monday to Saturday until they sell out! Closed on Sundays. The misagaru and crème brûlée donuts were so good! The misagaru is not too sweet and the crème brûlée has a delicious filling inside. These donuts are huge and fun to share with.

Yelp
The good: Their name says it all. This place sells fresh cream donuts. I got a box of 4 donuts from here from a friend as a gift. They were nicely packaged with fun flavors like sweet potato, injelomi, strawberry and creme brulee. The sweetness is subtle (ultimate compliment from an Asian when it comes to dessert) and the cream is very fresh. I liked the hardened candy shell from the caramel outside of the creme brulee donut. I like how each donut had a small paper under it to keep it nice and neat. The donut is fluffy, light and soft. The cream inside is the perfect consistency and flavor. It was rich without being overwhelming. The bad: They must be refrigerated if you don't consume them right away so this isn't something you want to leave out for too long. They're not great for cutting and sharing because the inside cream oozes out. They're closed Sundays. The interesting: They sell savory donut sandwiches! This sounds super interesting and different. I will try it next time.

Yelp
i came here at like 9:15, and there was no line! they also have a free big parking lot. i couldn't decide what flavors too get because they all sound so good, but i'm very happy with my selection! they're so pretty to look at, and all are not overly sweet! i will say it's better to eat it rather soon since the creme brûlée sugar tops aren't crunchy anymore if you wait too long.

Yelp
Delicious cream donuts. We tried the coffee brulee, misugaru, black sesame, sweet potato, blueberry cream, and the twist donut. If you like a good coffee taste, the coffee brulee was 5/5! black sesame also 5/5. misugaru was good too and had a mochi with red bean paste inside of it. The desserts were not too sweet either which I really enjoyed.

Yelp
Wonderfully well made.. not overly sweet.. good balance as I enjoyed all the succulent, sweet cream. Got a chance to talk shortly with the person behind the counter.. very nicely helped me choose the right ones. Did and will be going back for more.
