This place is so cute! It’s a small flower shop cum coffee store with adorable small things. We tried the Dirty rose latte and Lavender coffee. They were both amazing. They have the prettiest flowers and bouquet arrangements! Would definitely go back again!

This is one of the best-curated gifts shop I’ve ever seen. The selection is just brilliant. The coffee was so good I ordered a Lavender Latte boy with oat milk, which was superb. Also, strawberry-mint-cbd juice was refreshing and tasty. I bought some energetic stones, some of them were very rare. The flowers just looked so amazing. You feel a different vibe when you enter or interact with the staff—well done.

First time trying this coffee shop this morning and got an iced chai latte & a vanilla latte. So good and they have so many great gifts in the boutique area. Will definitely be back.

The rose latte with oat milk was crafted with care and I enjoyed shopping while my order was being made. On this chilly March day, I wish there was inside seating 🥶 rather than sidewalk tables on the busy street. The weather is something to keep in mind for your visit.

Really cool place because it’s half store and half coffeeshop. Def grab a coffee and take a look around because the decor is super interesting - flowers everywhere, trinkets, relics from the past. Coffee can get kinda pricey tho. My cap was $5.50.

This is my favorite spot in LA! I am at my most creative state here and have done lots of flower drawings here. It’s a place that I wish I could create in the city I live if I have a chance. I get the match latte here with oat milk. And the flowers are sooo beautiful :)

My wife had a baby shower last weekend and I wanted to surprise her with flowers. I got her flowers for Valentine's Day and she fell in love with them. So I wanted flowers for the baby shower. I went by their store to order them and pick out flowers. Unfortunately the store is closed and now you have to order online. I went back and forth to order online or go somewhere else. I made the mistake and ordered offline. Very disappointed in the "fresh roses" I received per the manager from the store. I spent $240 for these dead, chewed up half missing flowers. Please do not order from this place. They kept saying these were fresh roses and this is what they look like. Don't waste you money you will be very disappointed.

Gorgeous flowers but terribly unhelpful customer service. Ordered a bouquet for my sister's graduation and the delivery came almost 2 hours late and arrived to the wrong address. She had to change her plans to accommodate the lateness and find the delivery driver at an entirely different address to get the flowers. A massive hassle for someone who was meant to receive a gift and celebrate. Called twice, and they promised to speak to their manager and call me back. No one called me back. On the phone, they blamed the delivery service and offered no compensation for the incredible inconvenience. Despite the gorgeous flowers (genuinely looks like art), would not recommend.

This spot is so cute and unique... You gotta check it out. Located on Lincoln, parking is much easier than when you're close to the water. The staff is friendly and communicative about what they offer at the coffee bar. There's a small amount of seating both inside and outside. - The shop offers flowers as well as tchotchkes and fun items for purchase. The aesthetic is fun and creative. Great for a casual hang or day exploring solo.

The inside of this shop is so freaking cute! I loved the flower themed items they sell and the smell of flowers inside is amazing. I got the dirty flower girl which was a rose latte. It was very tasty aside from the rose petals I kept getting in my mouth.

Flowers, gifts, the coolest staff, some snacks and my favorite Canadians? Wait what? Talk about one of the best coffee dates ever! Thank you Flowerboy for providing the best summer vibes in Venice Beach. Got the text of time and location and if you know. Who could say no to this coffee date? Heck yes I'm there! The shop is hella cute being surrounded by lots of flowers. We ordered the Flat White and Chai. It was perfect. Two of my favorite Canadians were in town and had a last minute pop up here. Just want to say Flowerboy was awesome to agree to it. Provide the space and awesome vibes. Everyone who came brought good energy. Was looking for some coffee and decided to give Flowerboy a try. The inside is an absolute vibe, really gives you the "LA" feel. Apart from coffee, they sell different flowers, merch, interesting art, and a whole bunch of unique trinkets. I ordered a Lavender Latte - typical LA price of $8 and it was bomb. They added actual lavender flower on top which was a special touch. I'll def be back to check out the other coffee options!

My wife has been having a hard time lately so I thought I would get her a bouquet to cheer her up. I'd been there in person and liked what I got but never ordered through the site before and was nervous. I know what I like and what she likes if I see it but I'm not really a flowers guy so I'm not sure if I could describe what she likes properly. Not only did they do an amazing job at interpreting my description but they contacted me to go over a couple the details I left vague. She loved it! Husband of the year. Will definitely be back next time I mess something up

Lavender Boy was delicious- had such a strong lavender flavor! If you are looking for sweetness, be sure to add vanilla to this. Matcha was good but it could have been creamier! Literally can't DANDELION about how much I love my favorite cafe in Venice. If you haven't BEAN to @flowerboyproject yet, you'll definitely have to visit soon for their absolute dream of a concept - coffee and build your own flower bouquets. I'm impressed at how they always have such a beautiful, extensive selection of fresh and dried flowers, and how you can build a bouquet of your liking for such a reasonable price. The florists also arrange and wrap the flowers for you, and are always happy to help you pick out flowers if you're confused or lost. The baristas are also so kind and helpful, and one of them even kindly offered to remake my drink when I accidentally spilled a little out of the cup (completely my bad!) Definitely make sure to check them out if you're in the Venice area for a relaxing experience, and support a small, woman and Black-owned business! My favorite drinks: Dirty rose girl Lavender boy

My flowers were gorgeous and unique. I actually ordered for the wrong day, and they pulled through and had them ready for the right day.

I'm new to flower boy project and was very impressed with how easy the website worked to order the flowers I wanted. They followed my exact directions and I love the addition of the handwritten note. The flowers were exquisite and perfect for my daughter's birthday. As a neighbor, it's great to know they're a small businesses like flower boy to help brighten the day!

Madison was the sweetest ever taking my order over the phone, and then I showed up to pick up the PRETTIEST BOUQUET IVE EVER SEEN. A talent and an angel, give the girl a raise!

Went to Flowerboy to meet up with a friend. I thought it was a coffee shop but it's more of a gift and flower shop with coffee. The drinks are really interesting. They sell flowers by the stem and interesting gifts both of which were nice. But the only seating is outside on some makeshift benches on the sidewalk with no shade. I got a chai/coffee drink which was delicious and some flowers (they has double lilies but they were a browning a little). But the intent was to meet up with a friend so ended up moving elsewhere so we could sit and chat. In Sum: good place to pick up coffee, unique gifts and make a custom arrangement. Prices on the coffee and flowers were comparable to other businesses in the area.

Atmosphere: We were drawn to Flowerboy Project from seeing cute pictures of the shop on Instagram. There were beautiful flowers both inside and outside of the store, as well as cute trinkets and merch in the store. We went in the wintertime so the selection of flowers were limited, but the flowers that they had were still pretty! Service: The store was pretty empty when we went, so we were served quickly by the barista.  Food: We ordered a Matcha Latte. The Matcha Latte wasn't sweet at all, so it didn't really suit our taste preference. If our matcha latte isn't sweet, we would like for there to be more grassy, earthy notes, but our drink didn't have much of these flavors either. As a result, the matcha latte unfortunately tasted like chalky milk that happened to be green.  Overall: We hate to give Flowerboy Project a lower rated review, but the pretty environment could not make up for the bland matcha and the high price. We would probably only return to look around the store and enjoy the atmosphere.

It doesn't get prettier than the Flowerboy Project! I stopped by this coffee shop while traveling to a nearby wedding and was pleasantly surprised to find it decked out in bouquets of flowers. Flowerboy Project is a hybrid between a coffee shop and flower shop, plus it hosts some killer local goods. The perfect LA aesthetic. Inside there's a coffee bar with an ever changing menu of caffeinated beverages. I ended up going with a hot matcha latte with oat milk and it honestly makes my top 10 favorite matchas. If I'm ever in the area I definitely plan to return for coffee and gift buying!

Great coffee. I've had tried a lot of different coffee places and this is the best I've had in a long time. The parking was pretty easy on a Saturday morning right in front. There is some seating outside if you want to hang out and have your coffee here. You can browse their items for sale and the flowers while you wait.

Shout out to Nova for creating such a BEAUTIFUL bouquet for my friend's birthday. I told her I wanted something happy and girly for my friend and she whipped this up in ten minutes. It was hard to gift it because I wanted to bring it home! Can't wait to come back for more bouquets and get some vases too!

Overpriced but still good coffee and a cute little cafe. Love the little gifts and that you can buy flowers - although flower prices are a bit outrageous. Everyone who works there is always SO friendly. Coffee is delicious and there are great options to choose from, I really like the lavender latte because it's different from my normal choice. Worth a stop if in the area and looking for a cute little cafe to stop for coffee!

I always love shops that combine my favorite things, in this case, flowers and coffee! The flowers are gorgeous! Though you do need to pick through for the best stems and they're not cheap.. But they make fantastic arrangements and it's a great selection. The coffee menu is fantastic and the barista is great! Their rose latte is wonderful. The rest of the shop is a mix of artsy novelty items from jewelry to ceramics and the like. Highly recommended for anyone exploring the neighborhood!

I've been wanting to come here for so long because it's adorable, and today was finally the day! I got the rose girl (basically a rose milk; there's an option to make it dirty but I actually like it as is) and a Primo's vegan cherry donut. The drink (with oat milk sub) was actually quite nice and refreshing, deliciously creamy and topped with rose petals. The donut was very average but had a nice thick texture. No actual cherry flavor. This place is one of the most LA experiences I've ever had (complete with the girl at the register saying "LOL, that was the last blueberry donut").

I ordered a large bouquet (no vase) for $150 and was so disappointed with the size. What I intended to be a statement gift ended up feeling paltry. If I had gone into the store to pick out the flowers myself I would have ended up with a much larger bouquet (I know this because I've done it before). It was also delivered to my house, rather than the intended recipient so I ended up having to drive them over myself. In short, really cool flowers if you want to go to the store and do it all yourself but I won't be spending the money for delivery from there again. Sadly, don't trust that they'll give me my money's worth.

Went to purchase a bouquet at 2:45PM (they say they're open until 3) and the door was locked but there was several employees inside. We saw other people trying to go in also. Seems like closing procedures should wait until the business is closed

Came here on a Sunday around 12:30 and there wasn't a wait. Really good vibes here and they got cool things to look at. Ordered a dirty rose girl ($6), which had a strong rose flavor and lots of caffeine. 4/5!

This place is super cute and I'm all about supporting small business but came to get a gift for a gf and went with a dried flower bouquet. I wish I was able to pick what I wanted.... This girl helped me and wasn't very delightful or happy. She didn't take my opinion for colorful and vibrant. I paid $40 for what's in my picture. I will not be returning. The guy at the register was super sweet. It's overpriced and the experience was not pleasant. Note I did come at closing time expecting to spend $40 total and was not happy that they kind of took advantage because this bouquet prob looks worth $25. I also bought a card.

Love the cool drinks & absolutely fabulous flower arrangements. Used to live right next door and was in the shop once a week. Highly recommend.

Ambience is beautiful, coffee is okay. Came here because of how gorgeous the outside of the cafe is. Love the flowers and always was intrigued to see the interior. The inside is equally as cute as the outside and the shopping portion of this place is great. Cute little gift shop with unique finds and a very aesthetic atmosphere. 5/5 As for the coffee, I would give it a 2.5/5. We got a vanilla latte and a match latte. The vanilla latte was average, nothing to write home about but nothing wrong with it. The charge for almond milk was a bit hefty imo. The matcha was disappointing. It was a bit grainy, as if the matcha hadn't been mixed correctly. Not much flavor other than the milk. Will return for the shopping experience but won't be buying any drinks next time around.

Boujie coffee, flower shop it was cooler when it had tables inside. Now it's a Venice boutique more then the chill w/ computer n coffee stop probably cuz of the VID but still come here for Lattes n flowers. Thanks

I get my car serviced across the street and h e been wanting to check this place out... well it's alright I guess. I love the concept flowers, lattes & trinkets. It's a nice set up, clean restroom, pretty things but the service is lacking. I wasn't greeted for a good while, I get rushed. I was definitely gonna order coffee but I wanted to see the place first, I'm sure they could tell it was my first time in. Well I purchased and overpriced hair clip & something was with my coffee and COLD croissant. She just bagged it and left it on the counter. I thought maybe she was get a small shopping bag for my items, but no she just went on her way. I went to the restroom and when I came back my coffee was just sitting open faced on the counter. I was the only one there so it had to be mines. It's was really cute, the rose & foam. I guess that's the reason for it being served open faced but it was not hot at all. I walked out and the barista and other girl just continued chatting away. No thanks come again, no how do you like your drink, or can we warm your croissant for you, no nothing. Long story short I got it out of my system to try it but probably will not go back for coffee maybe for the beautiful flowers but the chances are slim.

Very nice shop but everything is overpriced, like expensive for the tiniest trinkets. The flowers are expensive and the people that work there don't greet you, I felt judged walking in there. The chai was not good, it was spicy and burned my throat, I don't even know if it's suppose to feel that way.

Wow lol, the service here is abysmal. I get that a touristy family isn't part of your ideal clientele, esp cuz the everyone else there was of the "hippie boho LA artsy" type, but that doesn't mean we're any less deserving of common courtesy. I don't think I've ever encountered a more pretentious little store. I was ordering when I misheard the cashier. I said, "sorry, what did you say?" and she snapped back, "Not you. I was talking to my coworker." No smiling, rolled her eyes. Ok coo. We watched them make our orders WHILE eating (ew) and making their own meals-- which had heaping portions larger than the customers' LOL. These girls are def more eager to talk to each other than provide any level of decent service. ICED MATCHA LATTE w/ ALMOND MILK: This has literally no matcha flavor LOL. I need to stick to Asian places for matcha drinks, because I'm pretty sure this is just almond milk with green food coloring. Or very low-quality matcha. ROSE GIRL w/ ALMOND MILK (no coffee): Also tastes like mostly almond milk, plus some rose-flavored powder. Yikes. Lots of food coloring too, ergo the wildly pink hue. There were two girls fashionably dressed, chatting loudly about horoscopes next to us, and the staff were falling over themselves to tell them "thanks for coming" "have a great day" yadda yadda as they left-- but for us, they totally ignored us when we left. One of the more polite staff opened the door for us and said goodbye, but that was about it. Oh, also around the corner are decrepit buildings, litter, and homeless people heckling passersby. Such an odd location. For such a gorgeous, beautifully decorated shop-- do better.

They have beautiful flowers, goods, coffee and tea that come together for unique experience with a vintage feel. First thing I noticed is the reasonable prices. You won't get the exorbitant prices that you would expect from the chain coffee houses. But you still get high quality brews and loose leaf teas that are sure to satisfy those caffeine cravings. While you're there, pick up some flowers, a nice card or something special to decorate your home with.

I was really excited about this place, I really wanted to like it but.... No;( From the very beginning, when I enter the store, no one said hi or anything. Just pretend to not see me. Finally a guy came then I ordered my matcha latte with almond milk. I always tipped to my drink, so this time I paid $8 and a little bit for the total. But unfortunately, my drink tasted horrible. It didn't even mix well, so much matcha powder on the bottom of the cup. and what I tasted was just almond milk. No matcha flavor at all.... But anyway, the store was very cute and since the name of this place says "Flowerboy project " . I decided to get some flowers. I asked to the black hair(dark brown??) lady to make me one but she seems very unwelcome. Looks like she really doesn't want to do it. I told her that I want her to make me one around 20 or 25. And I switched to 30. Of course I tipped her 20%, but she didn't even say thank you. I felt really awkward and uncomfortable during this visit . I saw other reviews similar to my experience. I may not coming back.

CUTE as hell I look back on visiting this shop fondly (but also can't remember anything super specific about it). But that's just how a lotta places are designed nowadays, that TikTok ready feel ya know? It's still stimulating and a nice space to be in! Being played out but appreciated is allowed

A delightful flower shop / cafe with artisan goods for sale. A novel concept and one I really hope to see more often! The coffees were delicious and the take-away healthy snacks hit the spot. Big fan. And, walking distance to Barry's... I'd highly recommend.

The overall concept of this shop is absolutely adorable. I loved looking at the knick knacks (although they were a tad overpriced), the design was very cute, and the workers were very polite. However, I do have to say my iced flat white tasted like murky water with a dash of spice. I'm also not entirely sure why an iced drink came in a hot drink cup, but I'll let it slide since the blue of the cup matched my beach aesthetic pic. If I were to break down my rating I would do it as such: Aesthetic - 4 stars Product - 1 star Cleanliness - 5 stars Efficiency - 2 stars * Further explanation: two employees were on their phones while one made the coffee alone

Adorable shop, great coffee. A must stop if you're in the neighborhood. I got a cappuccino and the BF ordered a Lady Grey, both were yummy.

I'm funemployed and need a place to very legit very adult computer work so I hop around cafes in Santa Monica. Anyway, Flowerboy Project-- Impressions: -From the looks of this shop, this is where all the hipster witches--I meannnn wiccans (don't hurt me) hang out to sip coffee and commune with fairies while running their tarot business on Insta. -Along with coffee the shop sells flowers and witch stuff like greeting cards, wooden bowls, lotion, beanies, etc. -The plants/flowers decorating the place are really nice. Does the coffee taste good: -Their Rose Girl is a go-to, extremely delicious (prefer it over the Lavender Boy). Make it dirty by adding expresso: if you don't then it's just flavored milk which, I guess, could be nice to give your black cat. -The Chocolate Croissant is pretty rad Working Environment: -I've done computer work at Flowerboy Project multiple times. Love the calm atmosphere, the way sunlight that comes into the shop, the beige wooden furniture. Small amount of seating but not a lot of people so I've not had trouble getting a spot. -Free wifi -Only two electric outlets, and if you're not sitting next to them you might have to interrupt a wiccan updating a crystal blog to let you plug a charger right next to their head. Do at your own risk. (Kidding! In my experience the staff and the patrons are super nice, it's one of the reasons I like coming here, and why it earns that 5th star). Heads Up: -Some tables are wobbly, and since there's a small seating area one has to shuffle between tables getting in and out; I sometimes worry about my coffee going splashy

Found this adorable coffee shop with great atmosphere and beautiful decor! I decided to try their dirty chai and I have to say it wasn't my fave but I would definitely come back if I'm in the area to try out something else on their menu. I liked looking through their merchandise and their beautiful flowers while I waited for my drinks.

Delicious coffee! Came here on a Wednesday morning and it was nice and quick! We got a street spot right outside that was free (hour long spot) which is always awesome! I was so happy to see they have oat milk! It's soooo good in a chai latte. Lots of coffee options! There isn't quite as many flower options as I was hoping but lots of cute trinkets. Will definitely be back for more oat milk!

Not sure if I went on a really "off" day, or if the positive reviews are fake. It was that bad. The service was AWFUL. It's LA, I really don't expect even good service, but damn. Baristas are rude and irritable. They gossip amongst each other and forget to even make your drink until you're just awkwardly standing there and they remember... 10 minutes later. Coffee is terrible, or they just didn't care and made a half-assed latte. Probably some of the worst service I've encountered in quite a while. And the flowers. LOL. The flowers. They're old and expensive. I think it's just for the IG hype, because these flowers ain't it. Literally just go to Trader Joe's over this place. Overall, I'm sad to leave a negative review because I was SO excited to try this place out. Had been eyeing it for a while, and drove 40 minutes.. but don't waste your time or money.

i came here with my friend and was immediately turned off by the two baristas' unfriendly presence and just off the charts judgmental vibes. but bc we already made the drive there, we had to suck it up and try the coffee. if the coffee was mediocre, maybe i'd give this review a two. but no. it was among one of the worst lavender lattes i've ever had, solid 1/5. lowk feel nauseous as i write this review. there's way better places to get coffee or flowers in venice, would never in my right mind recommend this place.

Unique coffee shop on Lincoln with cool trinkets and friendly staff. I had a delicious matcha latte and the menu had other items like toast, bowls and other small bites. You can also buy flowers, cards and other items!

I have seen some reviews that are close to the experience I had. My friend and I walked in and we were 1/2 way through the cafe before we said "hi" because the barista and cashier just stared at us. I asked the cashier for a recommendation for a drink and she looked irritated that she had to do her job. The baristas attitude was horrible for no reason and she was texting on her phone the whole time. I audibly said thank you and that it looked great when she put the drink out and she blatantly ignored me. The coffee wasn't good I've had better from Starbucks and it's $3 cheaper. I work at customer service in LA I know it sucks but if someone is being nice to you at least fake a smile and go on with your day. The 2 points is because it was cute and I liked the butts

Terrible coffee and terrible service. Waited 30 minutes for two pour overs with no one ahead of us lmao. When I got the pour overs they were luke warm at best and tasted terrible.
