Floyd's is a great coffee provider, but if you are in the rainy season, I recommend visiting their Old Town-Chinatown or SE Morrison shops.
This location is a walk-up window attached to the Lotus Cardroom and Lounge. One can order any espresso beverage, locally-sourced bagels, Portland's "Delicious Donuts," granola or a microwaved breakfast burrito. There is some table seating adjacent to the building.
While Floyd's is generally top-notch, their prices are about $0.50 higher than many nearby shops so the cost can be a little surprising. They do use Stumptown beans, which might be a deciding factor for some.
I actually recommend the breakfast burrito, currently posted at $3.75. It had fresh cut bell pepper, "just right" scrambled free-range eggs, cheese and soy chorizo. The flavors came together well. I'm assuming these are delivered daily from the Old Town or Morrison locations.
