A Bagel Shop Bows Out of Manhattan After Over a Decade | Eater NY

"A soufflé-focused shop has opened in the East Village, joining existing U.S. locations in New Jersey, Texas, Florida, and Georgia. The menu highlights include soufflés in flavors such as cookies and cream and crème brûlée, drinks like matcha mango lattes, and playful items such as croissant–waffle mash-up sandwiches, along with other sweets and beverages." - Emma Orlow

I finally made it to Fluffy Fluffy NYC and the pancakes were yummy! Super soft, cloud-like, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I also tried the ham & cheese croissant which was a little salty but tasty. Bonus points for the fact that they serve alcoholic drinks too. I had a peach Bellini, which leaned a bit too sweet for my personal taste, but still refreshing and enjoyable overall. The space is cute, the staff was friendly, and everything came out pretty quickly. Great spot for a casual brunch date or a solo treat-yourself moment. My only issue was the mandatory tipping system. When you go to pay, the screen makes you choose a tip before you can even complete your purchase. You order and pay before you sit down. Tipping is a courtesy, not a requirement. I believe in tipping for good service, but it should never be forced. What made this even more frustrating was that I was asked to tip before I even received my food. At that point, I didn’t know if the service would be good, if my order would be right, or how I’d be treated. In fact, I ordered a BLT and ended up with a ham and cheese, so I had already tipped before even realizing there was a mistake. Food was good, but I wouldn’t return. Ig@thefunfluencer

Oreo pancakes were delicious. The chocolate syrup was surprisingly good, it wasn’t overly sweet or artificial. The signature pancakes were a bit bland, but nice and fluffy as well. Not too sweet. However, the syrup wasn’t the best. The truffle fries tasted mostly of oil and salt; they were ok. Had a shocking amount of Parmesan. The basque cheesecake was a bit disappointing. It tasted good and was not too sweet, but it lacked creaminess. Cool Japanese themed bathroom, though there are only 2 stalls (needs more toilet paper). Servers were helpful and nice.

We had the savory and sweet pancakes. Both were really fluffy and delicious. Also, our sweet option included the biggest ice cream scoop ever! The concept is go to the counter and order - and then seat yourself and they bring the food. The place was really clean and neat - not too cozy but with cute details and wall lightning. The drinks are also good, and they have some nice alcoholic specials! We come back for sure.

Stopped by after dinner for some coffee. My daughter had to get some pancakes. Nice treat but wait was a little long (we were the only ones in the restaurant). Pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Would definitely come back to try other items when we are not full.

Went to Fluffy Fluffy cake & bar had a really nice time there. My croissant/french toast dessert was a epicurean delight. The right amount of crispness and sweet from the whipped cream to the chocolate sauce drizzle. I loved how a scoop of banana flavored ice cream was added to the dessert. The cut bananas were an added bonus to my dish. I was curious to try this place because of the pictures of the desserts in the window. I definitely recommend this dessert for anyone to try while visiting Fluffy Fluffy cafe & bar.

Had a great time and the woman on register was so sweet for explaining to me and my friend about the fluffy pancakes! We shared a Rasberry-Banana fluffy pancake with my friend at Fluffy Fluffy Cafe & Bar! We also got a Fresh Mango Ruby Tea and a Lychee Jasmine Tea. They was a much needed, light on my tummy, & refreshing addition to our hang out

These Japanese fluffy pancakes were delicious! Loved the texture – so light and airy – and the fresh fruits that came with them were the perfect complement. The ambiance felt a tad bright, but I guess it's ideal for taking pics

I adore Japanese souffle pancakes, and this place does them excellently, along with offering lots of other food and drink options! I originally went here to redeem a free matcha strawberry latte drink coupon I received, but also ordered the matcha tirimisu pancakes, and the taste and texture didn't disappoint - they were wonderfully fluffy and the matcha syrup was delicious. The atmosphere of the cafe is super nice and easy to hang out at, with tasteful decor, good music, and plenty of seating. The one downside to my visit was that unfortunately when I visited I was one of the unlucky ones whose order was lost in the system (another review mentioned having this happen as well). The cafe is still in its soft open so I don't blame them for having this issue, as frustrating as it is, and the team were quick to fix it when I brought it to their attention. As someone who has been a barista I know how stressful a situation like this can be to have happen, and they handled it incredibly well and were very nice through the whole process. They even offered a free mini matcha cheesecake to make up for the delay, which was just as tasty as the pancakes! Great job to the team 👏 and I will hopefully be returning in the future
