Fluffy's Sno-Balls

Stumbled into Fluffy’s and was completely taken aback by the absolutely incredible experience. The staff talked us through their massive menu, gave us samples, and then made the best snow cones I’ve ever had. There are such creative flavors and the presentation is amazing. I’ll absolutely be back. Thank you again!

Full disclosure: Sno cone free courtesy of Yelp It's a really fun shop with lots of fun flavors. The spoons even change color while you're eating your cone so that was a neat touch. Snow cones aren't my most favorite thing in the world but this was very enjoyable. Parking wasn't that clear but a block up the street there's metered street parking I stopped at really quick. The store definitely had a fun jazzy new Orleans vibe to it and all the servers seemed really friendly. Kinda felt like some great old fashioned southern hospitality. It wasn't too busy but people were definitely trickling in and out during this weekday afternoon. I'd recommend it on a hot day and you're in the mood for a treat other than ice cream. Food: 6/10 Service: 8/10 Atmosphere: 7/10 Value: 6/10

Amazing customer service! My husband and I walked in with our twins and he immediately greeted us and even gave our girls lollipops.He introduced us to the menu and told us a few things about his menu. He was amazing and so kind. We ordered a few things he recommended and couldn’t of been happier. We will definitely be back. The cookies and cream (b-rocka) snowball that my husband got was AMAZING! It’s ice but also tastes just like a creamy ice cream. We also got a classic strawberry that was great! And finally we got a puebla-snow ball that has a great little spice to it that I loved. I hope you can open more shops especially one in oc closer to us!!! You are doing an amazing job!! Thank you so much for the amazing treats and the even more amazing customer service!

Everything was A-1 service, snowcone, and the Athmosphere, It felt like I was back home in Louisiana. The snow-cones were fantastic. I come from Lake Charles, Louisiana and the unique flavors are even better than where I am from. The custom flavors like the dinosaur was hitting. If I could only take this place back to Louisiana.... Thank you so much Kevin. Will see you next time!

Came here with my daughter and fell in love with the place! I had the privilege of meeting the owner and he is super sweet I felt bad ordering such a simple order after he gave a whole spiel about the different flavors he has to offer. The shaved ice was amazing! Between the customer service and all the yummy flavors I will definitely be back for more. A little pricey compared to other stores but it’s definitely worth it.

Love the flavour I got which is the Puebla sno-ball. Has the perfect tanginess, sweetness and spiciness I like. The place is clean and has a good vibe. And best of all, the customer service is on point! Owners were very accommodating and made sure that we enjoyed our visit. We had fun tasting some of their special flavours. The only thing is that most of the flavours I tasted are too sweet for me... maybe the more reason to come back to check out if they have more tangy offerings like the one I ordered.

Kevin is amazing! We got 4 completely different treats and they were all delicious! Definitely a place we will visit frequently. No other shaved ice place around!

I was visiting Long Beach and missing my shave ice I get at home. I found Fluffy's and I'm so very happy I did! Kevyn and his staff are amazing! They gave us samples and didn't get tired of my questions! The shave ice was delish! And everyone there felt like an old friend, easy going and fun atmosphere! Highly recommend!

Sad Update: Having not seen owner Kevyn around the shop for awhile, during a recent visit to "Fluffy's" I asked his partner Darren about him & told him to let Kevyn know we said "Hello." Unfortunately, Darren shared with us the very sad news that Kevyn had just recently & suddenly passed away. Shocked & saddened by this news, holding back the tears while in the shop was difficult to say the least. With a personality that would light up any room, Kevyn never met a stranger as he made everyone feel welcome. Not only was he a successful entrepreneur, but he was active in the community & was a kind & gentle soul who I had the privilege of seeing go out of his way to help his fellow man. We will miss Kevyn's smiling face & enjoying conversation with him. But...as long-time loyal customers who followed him from the original Long Beach shop, we will continue to support Darren & this small business & visit "Fluffy's Sno-Balls" whenever our sno-ball craving hits. Praying for Darren, all who knew & loved Kevyn, & the entire "Fluffy's Sno Balls" family. RIP.

** I wanted to update my review. I follow Fluffy Sno-Balls on IG so I was so saddened to hear of the passing of the owner Kevin. My heart goes out to the Fluffy Sno-ball family.** I am a huge fan of New Orleans and visited just last year. The minute you walk in, all that joy and warmth of the Big Easy is on full display with its quintessential host Kevin. He greets everyone who walks through the door like an old friend and clearly he takes pride in his sno-balls. You are welcome to sample as many flavors as you want for your sno-ball. We even tried pickle which tastes just like a real dill pickle which is pretty wild for a dessert. The New Orleans sno-ball is vastly superior to a typical snow cone. The ice is shaved so smooth it's almost like ice cream. Toppings are available and there are cheese cake and ice cream options. The jazzy (small) was filling so you can share! Come for the happiness and look for the details like the spoons and name tags. I won't spoil by telling you here.

This is a perfect place to stop in on a hot summer day! I had the blue Hawaiian 8 oz Jazzy. My Jazzy was smoking and delicious. We were allowed to taste different flavors before ordering. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with the flare of NOLA's. This is a small place but the flavor and vibe is full of the Big Easy. You are given a loyalty reward card. Collect ten stamps are received a free drink. They also cater your private and public events.

Fluffy's is sooo good! It's about out of the way for me, but definitely worth a trip. It's been weeks since I first tried it and I've had daydreams about the pickle flavor!! You can sample as many flavors as you like and can mix and match. The owner is incredibly kind, positive, passionate, and fun. Truthfully, I'd go back just for the service. I had mango and li hing Mui and it was great. Super smooth shaved ice with enough syrup to satisfy anyone! The spoon changed color which was a small but amazing detail. I'd love to try every single flavor offered...

This place was great it was an experience the owner Kevin has great hospitality this was my family's and i first time they let us sample thing's and took us on a journey to nawlins theres every flavor of sno balls you can think of you can mix and match anything i had banana and coconut my wife had tsunami and vanilla ice cream it was delicious the kids had cherry,blueberry,and lean on my booty,it's a New Orleans flavor lol with gummy bears on top this place is a vibe that should be checked out 5 stars from us. P.S. they sell pralines, beignets, chips and other great items as well

Ambiance: Right in the cut of the shopping center, not a lot of seating, but it's super cute inside. They have a lot to offer, but it's not cluttered at all. Service: Kevin was so sweet! Gave me a couple of samples of flavors I've never tried, including pickle, which I never thought would be an option (pretty good) he was fast, helpful, and funny! Food: I'm a bit picky with snowballs because they're not all equal, lol. I loved these, though. I'm typically indecisive, so I appreciate being able to choose as many flavors as I'd like! I was very satisfied with my choices too, though I picked 4, it wasn't over the top sweet. Parking is tight but not bad.

Love #flufflyssnoballs is my guilty pleasure, that I can't get enough of it. Today is the last day at this current location will reopen at a new in Long Beach. It's bitter sweet that this location is closing today, I'll visit the Los Angeles location. The service is always top notch makes me feel really good whenever I stop in to get my fix of a #fluffyssnoballs. The decor is definitely New Orleans culture...

We visited this location after seeing it advertised on social media. Having visited New Orleans several times, we had very high expectations for snow balls. Let me begin by saying that although we walked in a few minutes before closing time, the owner was as patient and friendly as if we were the first customers. Imminently I was blown away by the variety of original flavors, all which you can sample. The owner did an amazing job greeting us and telling us the back story of the flavors we were sampling. After chatting and sampling so many flavors, I decided to order the Puebla flavor (mango with chamoy and Tajín) which was created in honor of Cinco de Mayo. My son had strawberry cheesecake, and he was pleasantly surprised at the amount of cheese cake the snowball had. All in all, I will definitely visit this business again, the atmosphere was amazing, and the flavor were everything that I expected and more.

Bright, cheerful shaved snow spot with creative flavors. Came here on a Thursday evening and Kevyn the owner was the embodiment of human sunshine. He was so friendly and welcoming, and gave us free samples to try of dill pickle, dinosaur (which tastes like skittles), and Lee hing mui. He let us know that you can pick as many flavors as you'd like and you can also put toppings such as cheesecake in (which is exactly what we did). There are some New Orleans items for sale and there's a few chairs if you'd like to eat it there, although most people seemed to opt for takeout. Prices are super reasonable and credit cards accepted. Parking is easy since there's a shared lot in the complex. We had the Lee hing mui and tigers blood for our flavors. The shaved snow was delicately layered in with the creamy New York style cheesecake, and it's a really fun dessert to eat. Highly recommend coming here whenever you're craving some dessert!

What stands out here is the fantastic service! They are so friendly and welcoming here, instantly a good time! There's snowballs are perfect on a hot day, not just for kids! They have an endless assortment of flavors, extremely unique ones like dill pickle as well! Highly recommended if you were looking for a sweet treat in the area,support local!

This place was amazing! Not only were the owners friendly but the sno balls weren't like any I've had! They were fresh, tangy and the perfect ice consistency! We even had the beignets and I can't wait to get back for more! My new fav place

I greatly enjoyed my visit to Fluffy's Sno-Balls. I was greeted with samples of any flavor I wanted and I decided to stay a while because I enjoyed the music. I order the lemon lime and li hing mui. No regrets!! I was able to meet the owner and learn how this wonderful place came about. Let's just say we're lucky to have them here, in LA. I look forward to my next visit.

This place has so many cool and the most delicious flavors ever! (Go try Spicy dill pickle... just try it!) The owner Kevin is so wonderful, charismatic and welcoming, he makes your day better. The store is a little hard to find, but so worth it. The snow balls are real New Orléans style- not shave ice. They even have New Orleans treats for sale. It's an awesome place and they cater as well which is very cool

another five star review loading... first impressions are everything and my first experience was life changing indeed. i've always been addicted to hawaiian shaved ice but now i think new orleans may have taken the number one spot... the service is top tier. * they explain the entire menu in depth upon arrival (after a super warm welcome) * you can sample as many flavors as you'd like (i only opted for the cherry blossom and it didn't disappoint!) * the energy gives southern hospitality (think family gathering!) oh, and did i mention the music will have you dancing from the time you arrive to the time you leave! it's giving mardi gras in LA. as far as my delicious treat goes, i purchased the N'awlins cup + cherry blossom with ice cream. 10/10 & would do it again. i also had my first beignet and consider me hooked. the powdered sugar melted in my mouth & the warm soft texture of the beignet left me wanting more.

Fluffy's is the Best sno-ball place ever. The New Orleans atmosphere is EVERYTHING!! Family vibes with great customer service, you can't get that no where but Fluffy's. My favorite sno-ball nickname name is feeling on your booty. I think it's really kapo lue . There are over 75 flavors I'm sure you will find your favorite!!!

So delicious, icy cold, flavorful and made my face glow with yumminess. Stumbled upon Fluffys while out for a drive and so glad we turned in. It was hot and humid and Fluffys hit it. Met both owners who were loaded and energized about the opening of their second Fluffy Snowballs! It think he went over every flavour and let us try and sample. Dell Pickle was an unbelievable and delicious taste, such a surprise and so unusual. We loved it. The shop is bright, colorful, and clean with a New Orleans vibe like a Mardi Gras party 247 Definitely will return no matter the weather

After finding this lil gem in the city, man o man I been craving these Smo-balls and I finally brought me kids over to try it and they loved every bit of it and they loved their sno-balls

Dropped by this location and was pleasantly greeted by the owner. When I tell you they have something for EVERYONE, they do! The flavors curated by the owner are amazing. I would never think of a pickle flavored snow ball, but wow. This is a must try!

Very cool place. They have a lot of different flavors if you get the small size they put dry ice for a cool effect. The snow cones are nostalgic. Nice fun and delicious treat great for the entire family. The staff is very nice and friendly. They also have beignets we got a sample of them and they are delicious will grab some next time.

I'm always going to the smoke shop right there and every time I go I say to myself "I need to try that Sno-Ball place" and today was the day I finally went and I'm glad I did. The owner Kev is a real cool dude & very helpful. It's a real extensive menu so of course I was having a hard time decide what I wanted. Thanks to Kevyn helping me decide, I got the Li Hing Mui and Dinosaur with the vanilla ice cream. The price also makes sense, nothing too crazy. I will definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for something nice on a hot day.

Kevyn is amazing. His southern hospitality makes you feel right at home. When you enter, you're instantly transported to NOLA! Not to mention, the sno balls are unmatched - delicious! I'm working my way through the menu & no disappointments, ALL GOOD!!

I would give this place 100 stars if I could.. I bought my son here for his birthday on 8/1/2024. Kevyn showed so us so much love. We felt like a celebrity in that place.. I have never received any service like that before in my life.. My son woke up this morning talking about let's go back again today.. The sno-balls were great. The Sno-Balls are great but the customer service and experience are even better. Kevyn sets the bar when it comes to running a business. He really puts the customers first and thinks "What would a kid want?" He also has hundreds of flavors and mmore than just the ice sno-balls. We will be back again and again and again and again...

Perfect sweet treat for the summer ! I came across this place while going to a store next-door and I noticed it because I heard lively New Orleans music playing, and I decided to check it out. The customer service was great, Kevin was very helpful and even gave me a sample before buying. They have so many flavors to choose from I will be returning!

I'm not sure if my check-in's have date stamps on them but I have to admit, every since my initial bite of snow from this location, I've been back at least three times. Between 75 flavors to choose from and a wonderful host like Kevyn, you keep coming back. He's very personal with his customers. It doesn't seem to be just business with him. He attempts to get to know his customers by name. That's definitely some good old school New Orleans service. Most establishments only pretend to get to know you based on the amount of money you spend. So not only are you receiving New Orleans quality but also the service. Parking is a bit tight but there is a couple of spots on the street in the neighborhood. The music is always on and have you in the groove that the flavors have your tongue dancing in. What I love about this establishment is that it's a "bring you back" type of business. These are not the type of snowballs that the ice separate from the flavor. You get to enjoy the ice along with the flavor all the way through. It might melt down but it would never separate. Also, the owner has arranged for gift cards to be brought, purchase punch cards (with each purchase you receive a punch until you earn a free snowball) and also his New Orlean golden cups which allows $5 refills. And that golden cup isn't a joke! Planning on driving home after making a purchase? Please purchase the golden cup. It would keep your snowball ice cold during that drive. Depending on how far you live, you will still be able to enjoy it. It's such a gem to the neighborhood and Kevyn is such a shining addition to the neighborhood. I look forward to the growth and wide spread news on this establishment.

Came in an was greeted with the Southern hospitality I know and love. Definitely taste like a snowball from Nola. Only local can get the texture as perfect as it was. Also the presentation was unmatched, they call it voodoo style. I'm overly impressed with the aesthetic. Also they had some local treats from the city like cheewees lol. Iykyk

Came in today after a Rams game and was so glad we did! We met Kevyn the owner and his staff. Not only was our shave ice with vanilla ice cream inside super soft and tasty, but the whole experience with Kevin was the best! He gave us the lowdown and a thorough bio of what they have to offer. He and his staff were so warm and welcome, we had samples and everyone made our stop here the best! We took home some beignets also! Thank you Fluffy's! Good job Kevyn!!

I had the most amazing experience!!! The best customer service I've ever had!!!!! The Sno-Balls at so good! My son literally turned cup upside down to get every drop! They make you feel so welcomed and at home. Felt like family! Drove 2 hrs and going to do it again soon! Worth it! Must have. So many flavors!

Their snowballs are great! They hand make their syrups and if you're diabetic they have sugar free in all their regular syrups. They have that southern hospitality! So kind. Every time I got here for a sweet treat. The owner is patient with explaining all the flavors and test tasting. The only downside is the parking.

This is a must for any time of the year. The sno-balls are fantastic! I tell you, I heard all the hype of this place and let me tell you baby they did not disappoint. The service was exceptional! They served us on a platter gave us countless flavors didn't nickel and dime us. They told us about all the great tasting mixes. The spicy dill pickle and the Puebla was our favorite. This place is so clean and neat and I saw they had an A grade on one of the window. Everything is centered around Mardi Gras. It's so New Orleans.

Tried out this place for the first time the staff are really nice , also pass out samples while you wait. Went simple and chose a blue raspberry was surprised to find gummy worms in the middle how sweet of them !!. Will come back again and try more flavors.

Tried this place out during our trip in LA and it was amazing from the owner's enthusiasm and great customer service to the delicious snowball. There are so many options to chose from! The location was kept very clean and very welcoming! Definitely recommend checking it out!
