The 12 Best Rooftop Bars In London - London - The Infatuation

"Flute is like a film set, and the scene being shot each night is that of a filthy rich main character hosting a glamorous divorce party on the rooftop of their penthouse. Champagne is poured like sparkling water, piles of pink scatter cushions are dotted around, and make out sessions unfold on sofas shielded by trees on the wraparound terrace. Basically, it’s Patsy Stone reincarnated as a Soho rooftop cocktail bar." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, daisy meager

Where To Eat Along The London Pride Parade - London - The Infatuation

"Flute is Patsy Stone reincarnated as a Soho rooftop cocktail bar. Expect an abundance of pink cushions, heavy champagne pours, and cocktails named ‘The Act’ at this glam suntrap situation. Really you’re here to drink, but the dinky sliders make a nice snack. You can also get involved in their 2025 Pride special called Summer Of 85. It’s a pink, strawberry and lemon vodka cocktail, with all proceeds going to Switchboard, the UK's national LGBTQIA+ support line." - heidi lauth beasley, sinead cranna

The 12 Best Hotel Bars In London, Ranked By Most Expensive Cocktail - London - The Infatuation

"We would have loved to be in the room when the pink cushion budget for Broadwick Soho’s rooftop bar was decided. In the name of velvet hedonism, we live to believe that someone just waved their hand and said “you can’t put a price on glamour”, ideally while holding one of this Soho looker’s delicious, fruity cocktails. As well as their commitment to OTT lavish interiors, Flute also benefits from a wraparound terrace where practicing the art of the ‘candid’ staring-at-the-skyline photo just makes sense." - heidi lauth beasley

Flute Review - Soho - London - The Infatuation

"Flute is like a film set, and the scene being shot each night is that of a filthy rich main character hosting a glamorous divorce party on the rooftop of their penthouse. Champagne is poured like sparkling water, piles of pink cushions are dotted around, and ruched, coral curtains cocoon the gathering from any ugliness outside. It’s Patsy Stone reincarnated as a Soho rooftop cocktail bar. Even getting up here involves a glamorous gold lift from the ground floor of the Broadwick hotel reception. On grey days it’s best to stay ensconced in the lavish indoor bar, slamming delicious cocktails—like a chocolate bourbon, rhubarb, and Aperol number—and cheering on the regular rotation of gospel choirs and acoustic sets that take to the sequinned stage. But when the weather's good, take your cocktail outside to the wraparound terrace. It’s got fluffy trees to shield you from other tables, views of the London skyline, and big profile picture potential. Just don’t bother with the food which is pretty forgettable and pricey. photo credit: Flute photo credit: Flute photo credit: Flute" - Sinéad Cranna

The Best New Hotel Bars in the World

"Flute, the rooftop bar at London's Broadwick Soho hotel, features a bold pattern-on-pattern design and playful cocktails. The venue is dimly lit and has a lively atmosphere, with an outdoor terrace that becomes a social hotspot in good weather. The drink to order is the 'Eyes Wide Shut,' with aquavit, blood orange, cardamom, sherry, lemon, and bitters."

Overall pretty good just not great. Have had better omakase experiences for less. Honestly had a hard time understanding the chef and his style is a bit more fishy tasting than most. Not that it was bad, just a different style. I liked it while my wife did not.

The staff downstairs (door men and reception staff) are absolutely lovely but the service staff for Flute Bar itself are quite blunt and standoffish. We booked a table a few weeks in advance with a £50pp deposit and got seated at the bar (?) - I was told that this was standard but in my experience it’s quite unusual to be seated at the bar if you have a reservation. A man had his coat on one of the barstools that we were meant to be seated on, and he was reluctant to move it which created quite an awkward situation. We were told that sitting outside was not an option, and eventually a table was found for us. We had quite heavy coats and weren’t advised of any cloakroom. It’s also very dark (which adds to the vibe) but I had to use my phone flash to read the menu. Very dark in the bathroom too, if you’re trying to touch up. If you do want to go, please eat beforehand and skip the food it’s nothing to write home about. The table crisps and olives are a nice touch. Cocktails are nice, generous pour. It’s a stunning bar with a lovely ambience. For me, the ambience isn’t worth the way the staff behave, so I won’t be back.

Such a fabulous experience at Flute, treating my friend to a glorious birthday lunch. We were looked after amazingly, from the moment we arrived and were greeted by the doorman, up the sumptuous lift, and stepped into the eclectic space on the roof at Flute, surrounded by art deco vibes, the opulent setting against the backdrop of the London skyline. Fabulous cocktails, incredible lunch and a moment to breathe in the space and remind yourself how great London is....and having lived here all my life, I'm always grateful to discover new experiences. Many thanks to the gorgeous Dodie, who looked after us, and to Natalie and the rest of the staff who were attentive, professional and friendly the moment we arrived. We walked out feeling resplendent. We'll be back to re-create that feeling again!

This was our first visit to Flute and it didn't disappoint. The decor is very Kitsch and colourful and the Cocktails were excellent! It is a little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. The Cocktails weren't watered down which is so often the case elsewhere. As we left a live Jazz band was setting up. We will return one day.

A beautiful hideaway in London with excellent food. I had a salmon which was perfectly cooked, a shame about the ice cold, refrigerated quinoa but in any case ensemble it was really good, recommended. Good wine selection and contrary to the reviews, the service was great. By the way, I am of colour and I saw some reviews that said staff were racist. So either the racists that the other reviews speak of are longer here, I didn’t meet them, got told off or no one is/was racist, just a matter of perception.

So welcoming and friendly. Decor, atmosphere everything from the minute we entered was amazing. We were seated at a table that over looked the whole top bar great to see, we asked to move to the bar no trouble at all. Amazing experience would recommend to anyone for a special event or luxury drink. Side note Loved the staffs uniform and everyone was smiling and lovely. An excellent time was had. Thank you

The drinks were AMAZING! I loved the atmosphere and ambience. Perfect for an inmate experience in an upscale lounge. The staff could be more attentive and friendly as the service in the bar lacked luster. I went on a Monday evening and it was not very busy.I waited a very long time (at least 30-40 mins) before anyone took my drink order. I was then rushed to make a selection from the food menu because the kitchen was closing but I was not made aware of the kitchen closing when I arrived. The bar is beautiful, I hope that the service will improve to match the setting.

Lovely rooftop bar in London that is well worth a visit. Service was great, the atmosphere and decor were fabulous and the views are pretty cool! Really enjoyed the little snacks that were provided to our table whilst we enjoyed drinks. I’ll definitely be coming back!
