The 12 Best Rooftop Bars In London - London - The Infatuation

"Flute is like a film set, and the scene being shot each night is that of a filthy rich main character hosting a glamorous divorce party on the rooftop of their penthouse. Champagne is poured like sparkling water, piles of pink scatter cushions are dotted around, and make out sessions unfold on sofas shielded by trees on the wraparound terrace. Basically, it’s Patsy Stone reincarnated as a Soho rooftop cocktail bar." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, daisy meager

Where To Eat Along The London Pride Parade - London - The Infatuation

"Flute is Patsy Stone reincarnated as a Soho rooftop cocktail bar. Expect an abundance of pink cushions, heavy champagne pours, and cocktails named ‘The Act’ at this glam suntrap situation. Really you’re here to drink, but the dinky sliders make a nice snack. You can also get involved in their 2025 Pride special called Summer Of 85. It’s a pink, strawberry and lemon vodka cocktail, with all proceeds going to Switchboard, the UK's national LGBTQIA+ support line." - heidi lauth beasley, sinead cranna

The 12 Best Hotel Bars In London, Ranked By Most Expensive Cocktail - London - The Infatuation

"We would have loved to be in the room when the pink cushion budget for Broadwick Soho’s rooftop bar was decided. In the name of velvet hedonism, we live to believe that someone just waved their hand and said “you can’t put a price on glamour”, ideally while holding one of this Soho looker’s delicious, fruity cocktails. As well as their commitment to OTT lavish interiors, Flute also benefits from a wraparound terrace where practicing the art of the ‘candid’ staring-at-the-skyline photo just makes sense." - heidi lauth beasley

Flute - Review - Soho - London - The Infatuation

"Flute is like a film set, and the scene being shot each night is that of a filthy rich main character hosting a glamorous divorce party on the rooftop of their penthouse. Champagne is poured like sparkling water, piles of pink cushions are dotted around, and ruched, coral curtains cocoon the gathering from any ugliness outside. It’s Patsy Stone reincarnated as a Soho rooftop cocktail bar. Even getting up here involves a glamorous gold lift from the ground floor of the Broadwick hotel reception. On grey days it’s best to stay ensconced in the lavish indoor bar, slamming delicious cocktails—like a chocolate bourbon, rhubarb, and Aperol number—and cheering on the regular rotation of gospel choirs and acoustic sets that take to the sequinned stage. But when the weather's good, take your cocktail outside to the wraparound terrace. It’s got fluffy trees to shield you from other tables, views of the London skyline, and big profile picture potential. Just don’t bother with the food which is pretty forgettable and pricey. photo credit: Flute photo credit: Flute photo credit: Flute Pause Unmute" - Sinéad Cranna

The Best New Hotel Bars in the World

"Flute, the rooftop bar at London's Broadwick Soho hotel, features a bold pattern-on-pattern design and playful cocktails. The venue is dimly lit and has a lively atmosphere, with an outdoor terrace that becomes a social hotspot in good weather. The drink to order is the 'Eyes Wide Shut,' with aquavit, blood orange, cardamom, sherry, lemon, and bitters."

Amazing vibe and service! This is a really special place to either hang out with a friend for a drink or go for a special birthday surprise. The entire experience from going in through to your final drink is a fantasy. The entire team were very welcoming with a smile. I never felt like they were upset to be there or didnt want to serve me. They even went off menu for a cocktail I wanted and made it very well. Definitely going back! I recommend booking ahead of time

Only went for drinks, but everyone was lovely. There wasn’t space outside at first so we were sat at the bar, not long after we were told a table had opened up outside and offered the table. Wine is lovely, staff are lovely and the whole vibe is great. Great experience from the door to the table to leaving Only negative was the flush on the men’s toilets don’t work

Lovely bar with beautiful ambience. On the expensive side but definitely worth a visit for an enjoyable experience. Yummy cocktails.

Overall pretty good just not great. Have had better omakase experiences for less. Honestly had a hard time understanding the chef and his style is a bit more fishy tasting than most. Not that it was bad, just a different style. I liked it while my wife did not.

Fantastic ambiance. We were there for a weekday happy hour in mid-October, so not very crowded. Attentive service, delicious cocktails, and cozy vibe. We didn't try the food, but complimentary olives and potato chips were provided at the bar.

Lodged on the 7th floor of another establishment, this feels like a private club but it's not. The doormen downstairs are very friendly and well dressed (that jacket!!!) and gently usher you to the lifts that will take you to a lavish art deco interior. Drinks are expensive but they have a nice and extensive choice of them and cocktails. Waiters could smile a little more but they are careful and certainly keen to get you more drinks. Crisps and olives could come more generous. We didn't dine here. Just drinks.

Flute – A Hidden Gem in London’s Cocktail Scene From the moment we walked into Flute, we knew we were in for a treat. The vibe was spot-on—stylish yet relaxed, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a soundtrack that perfectly matched the mood of the evening. The cocktails were absolutely top-tier. Each drink was crafted with care and creativity, offering a perfect balance of flavour and flair. Whether you're into bold, spirit-forward classics or something more experimental, Flute’s menu delivers. What truly made the night unforgettable was the outstanding service, especially from Suzanna, our server. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the drinks and the experience. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she made us feel completely looked after from start to finish. If you're looking for a cocktail bar in London that nails the ambience, drinks, and hospitality, Flute is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back—and hoping Suzanna’s on shift again!
