Flyover Fritterie - Redfern

Lovely Indian fusion cuisine. The food is slightly overpriced but reasonable overall. Many dishes can be made vegan, which is great touch. Nice atmosphere. The portions were pretty small though, so sharing food would be a bit tricky.

In a good location with high accessibility, Owners have fit plenty of sitting in such a small location. Service was acceptable. Food and Drinks options have small unique twists from India’s cuisines. While these food options are quite enjoyable, for the combination of the price, the serving sizes and only having small tweaks to classics, it isn’t worth the price for lunch or dinner. Will state it’ll be perfect date night option with its unique option of cocktails and drinks with the snack menu.

We have been wanting to try out Flyover Fritters for a really long time now, and it definitely lived up to our expectations and more. It was a wonderful experience, service is amazing, the food is packed with a lot of flavour. We really appreciated the personal attention and engagement while we were there. Special mention of the Kaapi Martini, such an innovative twist to the classic cocktail, for sure the best we have had in a really long time. Thanks so much for an amazing time Flyover Fritters Team!

This spot is my go-to for incredible vegetarian dishes! The kale patta chaat tops my list, but every item on the menu brings a unique burst of flavors. Authentic Indian cuisine at its finest—highly recommended for anyone looking to experience tasty, genuine indian flavors. A must-try!

Its a good place for having a vegetarian modern Indian cuisine, but i think they should work on there pricing for few things, i find it bit expensive because we spent around $60 per person for Indian food. Quality of the food is brilliant service is extra ordinary but but dishes are bit pricey on the menu. But their team is doing an amazing job and every plates that comes out is fantastic. Being a chef I really appreciate their creativity with Indian food and all the best and do this creative things for a long time. I have been to few more place like this but i would definitely recommend flyover Fritterie would be the best option to have Modern Indian cuisine. We have had Flyover Fritterie on our foodie list for a while now, and were determined to visit whilst the Ginger Date Pudding was a special. The savoury food was yummy, we had Okra Chaat (a special), Corn Bhel Puri, Broccoli Wings, 48hr Black Daal, Vada Pao Sliders. Followed by Ginger Date Cake (Cake slice of the week) and Pistachio Soft Serve which were both delicious; I think dessert was our favourite part of the meal. We thought serving sizes could have been a bit bigger for the prices, and the service was a bit slow - however we did come extra early for a dinner booking, so they may not have had their full evening team on yet. Our main issue was the seating; we were at a high table with high chairs and a banquette against the window - cold to lean back against, and my feet didn't reach the foot rest! We felt it wasn't set up for longer dining, but for a quick bite. I'll definitely be visiting again, as there were lots of interesting things I want to try on the main menu, however I'm not sure it's a good venue for catching up with friends or larger groups.

Very cosy spot and beautiful ambience. I really liked the chai here—not sweet and the staff are lovely. I wasn’t hungry so didn’t try the food although I wanted to try the pistachio ice cream but it’s not on the menu at the moment which I did not expect with it being summer and all. Love their concept— the food prices are not cheap but you are paying for ambience. Wish they were open a little earlier.

Do yourselves a favour and go visit Flyover Fritterie for a meal! The team has done an incredible job pulling together a menu that has unique flavour combinations that each hit the sweet spot. Tandoori paneer momo with hot chilly honey - who would have thought that combo would make you smile! We tried the Okra Chaat, Tandoori Paneer Momo, broccoli hot wings, baingan bharta Jaffle, Pineapple juice pani puri, Pistachio soft serve and a couple of drinks! SIMPLY INCREDIBLE!
