Grant and Armand were at a different barbershop nearby before they partnered on a business venture, Fog City Social Club. My partner and I have been getting our hair cut by Grant for years and we both have witnessed his growth as a barber and a person.
Every time I get my hair cut by Grant, it's perfection. I feel like a brand new person every 2 weeks. It's was an easy decision to follow Grant to his new shop because over the years, we've established a friendship. He's made it really easy for me to feel comfortable in his chair and I don't trust anyone else with my hair.
Whenever I want to change things up, he gives me his professional opinion. If you're new to the shop or want to make a change, I recommend coming with photos of what you want for reference to make it easier for him to follow. Usually after when I'm done with my haircuts, I book directly with Grant in person because he's usually booked out and last minute haircuts are hard to get. Doing this makes it easier for the both of us to plan a cadence that works.
Vibe of the shop is clean, minimalistic, and I love the artwork that is all over the shop which was done by Jeremy Fish. They play good music too! Lot of restaurants and grocery stores around.
They are open every day except Sundays, Mondays and any of the big holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Just ask though!
Parking is easy around this location. Just pay attention to the street parking signs because they'll tow or ticket you if you're not allowed to park at a certain time.
I highly recommend either Grant or Armand for a haircut. Both are talented, great guys that are booked and blessed! Thanks guys and congrats on your new venture! Proud of you both!
