We came here as a group of 5 for lunch. We had made reservations. There were a few table open, but the hostess said they were reserved, so probably best to make a reservation to be on the safe side.
As it was lunch, no one wanted to have a big heavy meal, so we all opted out of the meat (blasphemous, I know!), and had the salad bar instead. The price of the salad bar is $36 per person. The salad bar is pretty big. It has plenty of good options. There's also some soup, rice, and black beans to choose from. As we were eating, the waitress asked if we wanted any of the other sides that come with the meal. They had mashed potatoes (which we did take), and fried plantains, or polenta. They had also put a bowl of the small cheese rolls on the table.
I ordered a Caiparinha with my meal. It was only $10.
Everything was delicious. The service was pretty good. But when we needed to leave we couldn't find our waitress so we asked the manager for our check. Unfortunately he accidentally put 6 salad bars on the check instead of 5. So we had to wait a while to get that sorted out. Not a big deal for me, but my friend was late to an appointment.
I would go back again, but definitely try the meat options. If you want an all-you-can-eat salad bar, this is a great place to go. I think $36 might be on the more expensive side for salad. We were all full after one plate, so it's not like we felt we had gotten our moneys worth.
The restaurant is very nicely decorated. It's clean and classy. Not uptight or snobby. The music was very loud when we arrived, but fortunately they turned it down a bit when we asked them to. The noise level was fine after that.
