My family comes here almost every Christmas and its always amazing. Great service, great atmosphere, great picanha. We asked for a bottle of wine, it was out of stock and they offered us to pick a more expensive bottle and price match it to the one we originally wanted which was nearly half the price. Their selection of meat and sides are amazing and I'll always recommend people to come through. Jonathan and Luis provided excellent service! 👍

We had a amazing dining experience here. The food was great, the environment was lovely, and the service truly stood out. Martin and Josh were both very attentive and welcoming. They checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was going well, which made us feel really taken care of. What I especially appreciated was that Martin took the time to share a bit of the building’s history with us. It’s a historic place, and hearing those details made the experience even more special. You can really tell they care about their guests and are willing to spend time connecting, not just serving. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily come back!

Fogo de Chão in Pasadena is such a very nice place! The atmosphere is elegant and the service is top-notch. It is a great spot for the holidays, especially for New Year’s. The variety of meats and the amazing market table made our celebration feel truly special. Highly recommend for anyone looking to celebrate in style!

Went with my boyfriend today and everything was amazing. The food was incredibly delicious, the customer service was great, and the portions were very generous. The salad bar was honestly the best I’ve ever seen so much variety, from rice and bread to fried bananas, hummus, fruit, and so many other sides. Everything we tried was delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Been here a few times. Wife and I just come to the bar for cocktails and appetizers. So I cannot comment on their other options. But, I can say the food, cocktails, & service have been great! They have some good happy hour deals. We've had most of their appetizers and many of their cocktails. All well prepared & tasty.

We visited this restaurant located in Old Towne Pasadena. Just walking in was breathtaking. My husband and I had been to 2 others one in New York and one in LA. This one was absolutely stunning which will show in the pictures included. The service was friendly, thoughtful and actually delightful. Our friend who hadn't been here was delighted. The food to start at their salad bar was just endless but we didn't want to fill up. They also brought some little puffed breads and some other things as complimentary appetizers. We were waited on as often as we pleased and being carnivores and high protein lovers we ate to our hearts content. They had happy hour on Sundays. We reserved for 1:30 pm and well raving would not be enough to explain our delight. We wanted photos and Martine who charges customer service gave us a history of the beautiful building both inside and out. This was not just dining but a total experience. I had 2 of the Portuguese national cocktails which did not disappoint. The creme brule and key lime pie was an added fin8shing touch. This is a must do even if you are vegetarian or vegan! All meats 🍖 are delicious. All staff were pleasant and place is kept clean. I would recommend having a reservation as wait times are long. The place is popular. A plus is happy hour all day. And I would recommend the full churrasco for the full experience. Only complaint would be, the tables are to close together. Daniela was our server, very pleasant personality.

Had Thanksgiving dinner here tonight. The honey pork belly was delicious, and the meats overall were good. Service was alright, but the wait between meat rounds took a bit too long, so we got full quickly 😅

Last night, I had a lovely time at this fine establishment. The service was delightful, to say the least. Our service, Mille Ken, was very kind, welcoming, and very outgoing. He, as well as others, made sure this was a night to remember, and it was. Their dedication to a good customer service is more than just good. It was excellent. The food may be on the pricey side, but what you pay is what you get. The meal was enriching with its savory flavor, all complimenting the refreshing fruits and salads. The small cheese bread was definitely a nice amuse-bouche, and their dessert are just the sweet treats to end the night with. Lastly, the environment of the restaurant was captivating. Its interior was harmonic, the seats and plate well-kept, the bar being a true gentlemen's bar, and the restrooms clean and spotless. I may have written a lot for this quick review, but it's hard not to appreciate what this restaurant offers.

Absolutely love coming here for lunch. One of the best deals in town with their wide assortment of delectable meats and truly appetizing salad buffet. Service is always impeccable and would like to give a shout out to William for going above and beyond to make my birthday lunch unforgettable. Love the Pasadena location with it's eclectic ambiance.

I went to Fogo de Chão in Pasadena. It was a great experience. The food was great and the drinks were even better. My waiter Rodrigo was amazing. Very knowledgeable of the menu and he made us feel at home with a great vibe. I highly recommend going to this location. Great service.

OUTSTANDING! We were welcomed by a great hostess with a warm smile. We were seated within minutes. Isai and Veronica were outstanding at serving the table. The food was great and very plentiful. I recommend! I recommend!

We visited for the first time on this past Father's Day. Yes, as expected there was a line out the door. Once we got to the outside checkin the wait was 30-40min. But time seemed to go by relatively fast. We were offered shots from the bar and a meat sample later. Nice touch. Once inside we were greeted by Marivel. She greeted us with a huge smile was excellent considering how busy it was. She made us feel very welcomed. In fact everyone we encountered that evening was pleasant and wished my husband a Happy Father's Day. Though extremely packed, the look and vibe was aesthetically pleasing and had a festive buzz. I was the only one to visit the salad bar. So many great options. As soon as we flipped our card we were greeted with all the meats. Excellent cuts. My fave was the bottom sirloin and the pork belly...well all the meats were great. It was the perfect choice for Father's Day. Thank you.

took my dad to try the fogo de chão in pasadena for father's day and loved it! whenever my dad is visiting LA from taiwan we try to do at least one big beef dinner whether its prime rib or our usual- the fogo de chão in DTLA. he happened to be in town for father's day this year and instead of a usual dinner, we opted for lunch at fogo in pasadena to compare. i had made reservations earlier in the week for 11am. we got there early, parking in the adjacent structure across the street. we were seated right away and were happy to be deep in the main dining area right next to the grills where all the meat is being cooked! we ordered some drinks and went to the market table for salad, veggies, assortment of fruits and cheeses, and since it was out first time during brunch hours i was suprised to see a belgian waffle and omelette bar! we are big fans of the beef rib but in out previous visits, it isnt brought out till close to the end of rhe meal when we're almost full. so we request it with our server ahead of time to enjoy before we've had too much to eat. i always ask if we can have a piece of the rib bone too and they were happy to oblige! we enjoyed lamb, sausage, top/ bottom/ and prime sirloin, ribeye, garlic beef, and beef rib (we skipped on a lot of other chicken and pork options) paired with the great options from the market table (i made at least three trips!) they also have some great side dishes that we used sparingly- roasted banana, polenta, and mashed potatoes, as well as their great cheese bread! all in all it was one of the best experiences we've had at any fogo de chão and definitely look forward to returning to this beautiful location! five stars!

Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review I do realize that this is not a Michelin starred restaurant, but dear me, I also think that you can expect some sort of standard with the food & service .. The steak was dry and the side dish was bland ...

Pro tips: sign up at their site to get their emails and say it's your birthday. I was able to get a $25 off coupon and a free dessert. -walk to H&M to the register to validate your parking if you use the mall's garage. We paid over $1 for parking and were able to save money. Come here for the meats! This is the greatest bang for your buck to eat great cuts of beef. Unfortunately, not all advertised meats were circling and sometimes you have to wait for a meat you like. The salad bar was just okay (though the fruits were sweet). I loved the chimichurri sauce. Service was good and prompt. I can't do buffets much but the all you can eat is a good value. Is it the best quality? Maybe not but the volume makes up for it.

Haven't been here in a minute so decided to give it another shot. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I loved the Beverly Hills location and I also enjoy M Grill and H&H. Came here with my family with a reservation. It took about 15min to get us seated because the hostess said they were not seating people in the empty area of the restaurant which was dumb to me because after we got seated they started seating people there. So they made us wait for nothing essentially. Anyway, nothing has changed since my last visit. I swear this location lags on the meat on purpose because they come in 15-20 minute intervals and they ONLY attend the people sitting by the grills first so by the time they come to your table you get the scraps. My wife special requested some meats because of how slow it was and it never came. She also ordered the grilled cheese with honey like 3 times and it also never came while we were eating. It literally came after we paid the bill and were ready to leave. Of course we didn't eat it because our table was already cleaned and we were pissed anyway.

The service here is almost better than the food itself! Maryam, Monse, and Bella were absolutely so attentive and amazing during our food journey! My favorite meats were the pork belly with honey, and the garlic steak. Also - if you come, order the grilled steak with honey (it's so good)! The ambiance cannot be beat in this beautiful old building. Soooo yummy and so worth the money.

The interior of this place is very open and beautiful. We are provided with the standard sides at our table: polenta fries, mashed potatoes, cheese bread, etc. We started off our buffet experience with the salad bar which had a variety of deli meats, cheeses, vegetables, salad, and more. This was easily the best part of our meal. We also did the standard all-you-can-eat lunch with the meats. The meats came one by one to our table really quickly. Unfortunately, many of the meats seemed not fresh and underwhelming. The only meat I enjoyed was the garlic picanha. Overall, I would come back just for the salad bar because it is way cheaper and gives you a bang for your buck.

The ambiance was so amazing! It was my first time here and it definitely will not be my last! Our waitress Dominique was always taking care of our big group and ensured that we had a great experience. She explained everything thoroughly and made us feel welcomed. The food is also great, make sure to come on an empty stomach because you'll want to try everything.

We made a dinner reservation a day in advance. I'm cool with a delay of maybe 10 mins on a reservation, but it took a full HOUR after our reservation time for our party of 4 to be seated. And by the time we got inside, there were a ton of tables just sitting empty, which was really odd. The tables also seemed too close together. Once we were finally seated, the food was delicious and the service was good, but after waiting outside for so long it was difficult to properly enjoy the meal, and it was quite loud inside. The creme brûlée and fried polenta were very tasty. And then there was no drip coffee available for after dinner, only espresso. I probably will not be back to this location, and would not recommend it to others. I have no faith that a reservation time means anything, here.

Went during the week for happy hour at the bar, and I was not happy. Jasmine was great at the bar and she made delicious drinks. The kitchen was horrible. It was around 3pm and they were already out of the shrimp tacos and only had one picana burger. So some of us couldn't even get what we wanted to eat. The bone churrasco was burnt. I asked for my burger to be medium and it was well done. Even the beef rib sliders were burnt. Like everything was dry, dry, and burnt. Only good thing I had was my drinks and the queijo assado. How sad is that. So this was my first and last time at the bar. It was VERY disappointing to say the least. Also, the bathrooms are nasty. They were dirty and some of the stalls didn't have TP or toilet covers. Let's get some standards back in this place!

This establishment blew my expectations out of the water. I looked forward to this evening for a few weeks and I am thoroughly satisfied and will recommend for both intimate and large parties. These 3 were so welcoming and kind. The patience was very appreciated especially with our large group. Thanks again so much!

This place is NOT what it seems to be. The steak was weird tasting, looked pale no flavor and overly salty. I asked host if their meat was 100% grass fed and they said yes, but it isn't because 1. I can tell and 2nd. They couldn't give me the farm info of where they source their meat from. If you know your red meat can easily spot a bad steak house and this is one of them. At the end the manager was nice enough to take 1 of the steaks off the tab. Wont come back or recommend.

Another 5* experience today as we celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary. We were looked after by Rodrigo and Maryam who were great. We love this location, the staff and experience. The food was on point today and everything was well executed. Thank you for a remarkable experience Fogo Pasadena!

Wow! I am beyond impressed with this growing franchise. The service was outstanding my cup was never empty. The quality of meat was exceptionally cooked correctly and pão de queijo was savory. Fogo de chão has a pleasant ambiance not overstimulated at all and feels safe. Thank you Dom for serving us it was a pleasure :)

Michele is our favorite. We came for the high standards fogo holds for meat and service, but she always elevates our experience with her professionalism. We've come back a few times and will keep coming, especially knowing there are excellent staff members like her.

Mixed review here. Host, Gisele, is discourteous. She should not be the face welcoming guests . Jennifer was an excellent server. She was present and helpful. Food was good but waiting for the rib eye (well done) took much longer than expected. When it arrived, it was enjoyed but by that time I had already filled up with bread and banana. We had a big party (20). Those sitting towards the end of table (near the kitchen) shared that there was a terrible damp smell in the area. Hope they can mentor Gisele and get rid of the damp smell.

This restaurant is the essence of top notch service. The waiters were really attentive and they made sure my glass of water was never empty.The salad bar had a great variety to choose from and everything tasted really fresh. This is a nice place for an intimate date or to host large groups of people. I put a 4 start because although the meat was really tender I feel as if it could've been more flavorful.

Great service and great food. Love the salad bar accompaniment to the premium meats that were brought to our table endlessly until I remembered to flip the card over to take a pause. This is also a gorgeous art deco-ish building since it used to be a bank once upon a time. Can't wait to come back because they have vegan entree options for my husband so he can also partake.

I'm still amazed that Fogo is right here in Pasadena. I'd you're a Fogo fan like I am, then you'll be happy with the Pasadena location. They deliver food and services as you would expect at other Fogo restaurants. Be aware that a lot of people are usually here during prime hours. So if you're going to be here at prime time dinner rush, be prepared to roll with the punches. Also, all day happy hour is fantastic here. $5 beer and $10 gourmet burger. Really great deal. No other place in walking distance can beat price or quality. One of my other favorite items is the Churrasco beef rib. It's so dang good. You should come on over.

I came here with a reservation for 11 and we got seated promptly after half of our party arrived. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Majority of us got the churrasco (ayce) experience but they allow people to get ala carte items as well. We had 8 people get the experience while 3 just paid for individual items, they are totally cool with it. The food itself was pretty good. I really enjoyed the salad bar that they had. The selection is pretty large and they have all the ham and cheeses you may like. The meat itself, they were cooked well. The only thing was some meats were a bit on the saltier side. Not that bad but it was salty. Really enjoyed having the meat brought to you, definitely an experience in itself. So this dining experience is definitely not cheap at $70 per person. If you want to save money and have a Costco membership, they sell $100 gift cards for $80. I bought $400 worth of gift cards and had no issue redeeming them at this location.(print them out for convenience). Overall, it's worth to go for special occasions. We went for my wife's birthday and they gave us any cake dessert complimentary which was very nice. Parking - Easy, there is paseo parking structure next to the restaurant. If you want to save money, you can validate the parking at H&M which has a self validator near checkout, and that should give you 1.5 hours or so parking for free. Fogo does not validate parking!

This is my second time going to this location. I made a reservation for my birthday with a party of seven. I chose fogo because the first time having lunch at Pasadena location, my experience was good. I'm pretty sure most people had been to fogo at least once if you live in LA. So I am gonna write this short. I made the reservation at 8, and when I arrive on time there was more than at least 30 people waiting at the door. Checked in with the host they said they are swarmed and they are very backed up, because today is Father's Day weekend. I kept checking with the host every 15 minutes. Every time I asked the host they kept saying unfortunately unfortunately unfortunately, we are backed up. How unfortunate is my birthday choosing you guys? Until 8:40 I lose patience and asked the host to give me an estimate time for seating she said Unfortunately at least another 30 minutes. By looking at how busy they are in the restaurant I don't think we will have a good time eating there. So we ended up going to sushi Enya down the street. For the management and marketing team of Fogo, when I leave at 8:40 and checked OpenTable , I could still make reservation for 8:45. I don't know if you guys forget to turn it off or you just want to let people overbook. Such a waste of everyone's time, if you treat walk ins and reservations the same you should not even have a reservation system in the first place.

Great service, incredibly delicious food. Our servers were Jessica and Isai. They made sure that we were so stuffed that we couldn't move by the end of our evening. Their bread rolls are amazing as is the tomahawk! .

Came here for a celebration lunch. They have a portable bar that car make you drinks. Jennifer, William and Veronica were friendly and told us about the special mango Chardonnay drink. It was so good we couldn't stop ordering. Highly suggest hitting them up for recommendations.

I must admit this has become my Friday date night place with my husband. The food is consistently great, the service is very good, and prices are the best in town* (If you do not know about Happy Hour, you must look into it!). The you must list from the All Day Happy Hour menu; 1. Queijo Assado (the Malaqueta Honey makes this special) 2. Brazillian Empanadas (a fantastic way to start things off) 3. Picanha Burger (Simply the best $10 burger anywhere!) From the Sharable Plates; The Bone Churrasco Board and the BPQ Churrasco Board are our favorites. (that is not to say the other offerings are not awesome) Sit at the bar, say hello to Martin, "Z", and Jessie, they will take great care of you. They make us feel like we own the place! One last note, the little cheese bread puffs are addicting.

I've been to this location twice and this time I went with a bigger party for dinner . We made reservations but had to wait for majority of the group to arrive . Once the majority of my group came, we got seated right away. It's an all you can eat Brazilian steak house. $69.50 per person during dinner. The salad bar has some good sides to choose from. You can build your own salad with the toppings that are available. There is a basil dressing that was really good. My favorite was actually a salad that was already mixed, I forgot the name of it. The fruits were fresh and tasty. There was also a soup station but I didn't try. Near the soup station, there are candied bacons, it's a must get. The candied bacons were so yummy. For the table, the waiter brings out some sides such as the cheesy bread, mashed potatoes, caramelized bananas and crispy polenta. The cheesy bread was my favorite food from the whole night. For my lactose intolerance friends, bring the Lactid pill because those cheesy breads are so worth it even if you didn't bring the Lactid pill, still worth it . I think I ate 4 pieces of bread but had to stop myself. The meats are suppose to be the highlight of the dinner but it wasn't. The meats came out to be either too salty, too dry or too rare. At the beginning, there were no servers carrying the meats out so my neck got tired of just turning around to check if there was a server near by for the meats. The service was great. The servers were attentive and always clearing our plates away from our table. Overall, it was an ok experience. It's nice to have servers carve the meats and you can pick them from the tongs. I would give it a 3.5/5.

Everything was fantastic. We have been to another Brazilian restaurant and nothing compared to this. Martin the bartender was awesome. Isai was a great server. The service from beginning to end was superb. I am not a red meat person but all the meats had great flavors. The ambiance of the restaurant really spoke to the historical side of downtown Pasadena. My husband and I said we would definitely make the 2hour drive to come here again.

First time eating at Fogo de Chao and this won't be the last! I highly recommend their Pasadena location. The service, food and ambiance were top notch! Everyone was kind and professional. Particularly, our server Will took very good care of our party. He checked in on us frequently, ensured our drinks were refilled and the meats kept coming. 10/10 for Will and Fogo de Chao-Pasadena!!!

Came here to celebrate with the family and couldn't have been more happy with our brunch experience. Rodrigo went above and beyond to help make us feel like we were dining with family. His customer service and attention to detail was impeccable, as well as his knowledge of all the delicious food options. 10/10 recommend! I've been to their DTLA and OC locations and absolutely love it! This is the first time I've come here to this location and was pretty happy at first because it is closer, but I think I may just stick with the OC location. We never had definite server the whole night first off so we were confused. Second, and the most disappointing part was the meat. All the meats were very over cooked. All well done. The filet mignon was what I was most excited about. All they brought around was a well done filet mignon. It felt like they didn't bring every single cut of meat. We had to ask for them to bring the ribeye. I love this restaurant, but not this location. I'd probably drive farther to have a better experience at OC.

We have friends visiting from Palm Springs for the weekend. And they are staying at the Langham Hotel. They love a good piece of steak like filet mignon, or ribeye. We thought that we would take them out at Fogo in Pasadena today. Right before we started we already spoke to our server how we wanted our steaks cooked. But today was a big disappointment. The servers were cordial, but the service of the food was really really slow. To top it all the meats were well done and under seasoned. I had to call the manager's attention before the they started coming around. And every meat that came out had no taste and mostly over cooked. This wasn't the first time that this has happened. We love coming to Fogo. But the quality of the meats that is coming out of the grill should be monitored by a professional chef or experienced cook. Especially if the servers who are cooking don't have the proper training in seasoning and grilling meats. I understand that the restaurant gets busy and it could get very overwhelming. That's when they need to put more attention with their staff. I also noticed that the bathrooms are not visited to tidy up. It should also be monitored every half hour, with the amount of traffic in and out of the restroom. They should have someone checking it. We have eaten at all the Fogo restaurants. The best one ever is Beverly Hills and Las Vegas. We've been going to Pasadena coz it s closer and convenient. But it's a hit and miss each time we went. Please pay attention to your restaurant. Great people, great service, great food, happy customers... Thank you!

We had a lovely dinner here on Friday evening and made sure to show up prepared (aka starve the entire day). We had a reservation at 7:15 PM and waited a couple minutes before being seated. It's a large dining room but it's definitely quite packed. Once you get seated, you help yourself at the salad bar that offers a variety of veggies, cheeses, cold cuts, and fruit. You have a card that you flip to indicate when you're ready for servers with the meats to come to your table. We had the card flipped to green (ready) the entire time since the meats were coming out at a pretty steady pace. We managed to try almost every thing except for a couple items. The picahna, top sirloin, bottom sirloin, and pork belly with honey and lime were my favorite! You also get sides of mashed potatoes, plantain, polenta, and cheese bread. Our waitress seemed pretty tired and didn't really give a thorough explanation of what to expect, but to give her some credit, she did check in relatively frequently on us. Other waiters/waitresses were more attentive and interactive with their tables, but I get it, everyone has their days! This is a meat-lovers dream and the quality of the meat is quite impressive. It is on the pricier side for sure, so probably not something I would indulge in often but it's great for special occasions. Major downside about this location is parking. Parking in Pasadena is always a big of a headache and unfortunately they do NOT validate parking.

This was my first time eating at a Brazilian steakhouse, and wow! Make sure to come hungry! The food was amazing, I highly recommend getting the beef ribs (off menu! Have to ask for it), top sirloin, and the pork belly with a squeeze of lime. The cooked cheese with honey was to die for! Service was exceptional, our waiter Kevin had the best recommendations on things that we should try and was always checking in to make sure everything tasted excellent. Also being our first time at the restaurant, he took his time explaining how it worked and answered all of our questions. The restaurant is stunning with the most magnificent ceiling with beautiful chandeliers. For parking I would recommend the Paseo and get a validation at one of the stores in the mall for a free 90 minutes as the restaurant does not validate. Can't wait till my next visit!

Isaiah was a great help this was our first time. The food was delicious and they had a great variety. We will definitely be back.
