I went here last weekend for my birthday this year and when I say it was an EXPERIENCE! I was in the mood for dancing and energy and fun and that’s what I got. There were great party favors and a shout out to all us birthday folk 🥰🥳 Totally recommend!

Visited this place on a Friday night to celebrate a cousin's birthday party. There was a line but came in quickly. a party of about 15 people. The place was packed. We got a few tables and took over a corner. Good view. Service was good. You can walk away with a cup of caldo de gallina free of charge once you come outside. This restaurant is very close to my house but just today I decided to Order from here since I was looking for colombian food . Wow ! Food was so good ! I was super pleased . All Flavors and portions were perfect. This is authentic Colombian food. If you’re looking for real food look no more. They have a big menu and many options. I got a delicious Bandeja Paisa and chicken with mushrooms sauce. I definitely recommend.

The food and the vibe was good, music definitely helped to have a good time, however when we got our check to make the checkout, the price that came out with the check was right at all, as soon as a I make the payment I receive the receipt through my phone, when I was checking they did add 40% of gratuity, what make me feel definitely that i was robbed, a night that suppose to end great, we had that issue, always keep in mind whenever they charge you cuz definitely 40% of gratuity is a robbery, and i believe there is not place that charge that in ahead, they don’t even give u a option to choose the tip, really bad form their side, charging 40% literally almost the half of the check. Definitely disappointed from my Colombian fellas, se nota la avaricia. Not coming back

I liked the music, the ambiance was good the service was good but I had to chase the waitress down she was too busy, then the guys that act as bus boys were too fast on cleaning the table at times taking my drink without me finishing it. I didn't like the fact that too many chairs for each table, makes too tightly close together. But I enjoyed the show, the crowd. My picada was delicious.

I visited Fonda Dios on a Friday night to celebrate a birthday with a group of eight, and it turned out to be quite the experience. The place was packed, which added to the lively atmosphere, especially with a Colombian football game happening. Because of the game, we were asked to get bottle service, so we got a bottle of vodka for $150, plus the food. We ordered a picada that came with pork, meat, chicken, and plantains. It was pretty good and paired well with the vibrant ambiance. The music was great, creating a fun vibe throughout the night. Fonda Dios might be a little hole-in-the-wall, but it's definitely worth a visit if you're into Latino culture and want to enjoy some good music and food.

Terrible experience. I called to reserve a table and they said that I don't need one because they had tables available. Johnathan Arguello walked the 3 of us to a tiny table with tiny stools that is for 2 people, at the most. We told him we were having dinner and the 2 men in my party are pretty tall guys, but he refused to change our table. There were many bigger tables available. We asked to speak to the manager and he and the hostess collecting the cover charge, said that he's the one and only manager. Johnathan was super rude, so we left.

Asked a Colombian friend to recommend a good Colombian restaurant and she said this is it . It's like stepping into Colombia . The ambiance is great and so is the food . I came for the bandeja paisa which it's amazing . So fresh , good portions. I keep coming back . I do recommend this restaurant.

Ese lugar Fonda dulce es un negocio que se aprovecha de la clientela cambiando el precio de entradas. Yo los llamé desde Gainesville en camino a Ocala y me aseguraron que mi hija de 17 años podía entrar y el precio era $5 la entrada. Al llegar cambiaron el precio a $10 por persona y $20 por menores de 21. Sin entrada a menores de 18 años. Este no es un lugar familiar y lastima que un negocio latino se aproveche de la gente. Por eso estamos como estamos.

Great service, prices and food. I love the waitresses wear "authentic" Colombian dresses. The decor is really nice. Food is great. Plates are big and price is unbeatable. I really recommend coming here for lunch.

I've only ordered the picada from this spot and it is always on point !!! Truly a crowd pleaser, the picada is a mix of beef, chicken, pork chop, chicharrón, blood sausage, and Colombian sausage, red peppers, green peppers, and onions on top of fries, tostones, boiled potatoes and arepas. The picada typically comes with hot sauce that elevates all the flavors with a kick! Pro tip.... Enjoy the fries that are living under all of the well seasoned meats, they are delicious! The picada is meant to be shared and great for a group of usually three or four people !

First time being at this location, restaurant was empty just us and and another table, I ordered a chuleta valluna that had an orange slice garnish on top I removed it and began eating my food, my toddler took a bite out of the orange and spit it out , we checked it and it had mold. We immediately let the waitress know which we asked for the check right away , waitress comes back to notify us the manager told her it was not mold but the knife they used to slice the oranges, mold was undeniably present , the manager never came to address the issue with us , we left the food half way touched as we were disgusted. We have been to other locations and never had an issue needless to say we will not be coming back as clearly they present a health hazard serving moldy food and management lacks professionalism.

This place is packed with people, you can't even walk. I am sure it was over capacity. It reminded me of the soccer game Colombia vs Argentina.

During the day, this place is a great staple for Colombian food! Highly recommend the sancocho for a Colombian stew or bandeja paisa for a meal sure you satisfy! At night, it is a bright and colorful club with a dance floor and entertainment all night!

There's no find into it they charge you devil on the food and the drinks get a police report only way to get far food is horrible music is horrible and so they want to throw it down. The throat food is barely cooked at night management says yeah let's do it. Call the cops, so I'm calling the cops and I'm showing proof and tickets. This place is not worth a dime. Management said to call police. Dirty place, smells bad and horrible customer service. I went last Saturday and ordered a margarita an the bartender didn't know how to prepare it. Bartender is very rude. The music was very old school and employees think they work for a supermarket. Do not go to this place.

Great music, great vibes and good food. I went at night on a Saturday night, the place was not as busy as expected. I have to say the service seemed as though they were extremely busy. We had two servers somehow, and both were quoting different prices for the same food. The place is VERY overpriced, for things that are rather underwhelming. We got a bucket of águila beers for $30 and only comes with 5 beers. The first server asked for $25 and the second one charged us $30. The cocktails start at $18 and again the drinks are very underwhelming. If you're visiting this place drink before hand and enjoy the good music

I come often thanks to their lunch specials. The food is really good every time, it reminds me of a home cook meal. I have tried plenty of their meals and never has been disappointed, their meats are not hard, beans are fresh and the rice is always tasty. The fish is also really good, but I say just stop by if you are in the area and take a chance on their special of the day. (I don't even find out what they are serving, I just go) The parking situation is pretty easy since it is located inside a Plaza with other restaurants. The service is superb all of the girls are really nice, they are also smiling and willing to have a conversation. They are super quick as well and never had any issues with anything I order or their attitude. The only reason why I can't give it 5 stars is because it is a little too dark for a daytime restaurant, this place also serves as a bar but I have never been during that time. Don't run away because of the 4 stars, trust me that I you will like their food and if you want to actually stop by for happy hour it seems like it is fun.

El lugar y el ambiente es bueno, lo transporta a colombia. Pero desafortunadamente el servicio es terrible, pagamos varias botellas a precio elevado en el cual la propina ya está incluida y al llegar a casa vemos que agregaron más propina de la que nosotros dejamos. Hago el reclamo y resulta que no son ellos los de la culpa, increíble que pase esto en miami. Nunca más volveré a este lugar, ahy muchos mejores lugares en miami.

I really was starting to like this place!!! Showed up about 7 and they were fixing things.i asked is it ok to sit and they said yeah. After I have been there for hours security tells me I have to pay a 5 dollar cover? Idiots I was still consuming so I decided to leave!!! You lost more than 5 dollars for por management!!!! I will never return!!!!

Restaurant has an authentic Colombian atmosphere to it. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Prepare yourself for a shot of aguardiente once you get seated ;). Nice Colombian welcome! Service: We did go there after lunch rush hour so we were the only family seated in the dining room. With that said service was pretty good. Our servers dressed in a traditional Colombian outfit were polite and very attentive. Very welcoming. Food/Drinks: My father had the lomo a la plancha and I had the ajiaco....wow. Both dishes were very tasty. Las empanadas with the "aji" was delicious. Prices: Average plate is between 10 to 15 dollars. Overall experience went really well. Would definitely come back again.

Mother's Day Disaster....place was relatively empty "no line...no waiting" only 2 other tables were occupied. No excuse for the Bad Service. Let's start off with the fact that they did not have Sprite claimed the fountain sodas were bad. The menu was very limited "Mother's Day special" No kid menu or kid friendly items. My son ordered Sphaghetti Marinara asked prior to ordering if it was with sauce only, they waitresses confirmed well it turned to be Espaghetti Marinero not Marinara Seafood. My son is highly allergic and was unable to eat the dish, we asked for them to remove it from the bill, they refused and proceeded to bring the bill. We asked to speak w the Manager, did not have the courtesy to come to the table. Another waitress came and took the plate said we'll remove and bring it w sauce only, it appeared to be a clam sause, we said we didn't want it, we were done eating and had fed our son from our plate. The proceeded to take the dish pack it up and bring it out, we told them we didn't want it. The Churrasco" was not flank/skirt steak, appeared to be a fatty steak served in an iron skillet more like a thin rib eye/NY strip. 20% Gratituity automatically added. Music was extremely loud, Mexican Mariachi in a Columbian Redtaurant. The to top it off the waitress came to say oh wow what a bad experience on Mother's Day. They run this llace like they are in a third world country trying to obligate the customer to take the food and no listen to the Customers and imposing the gratuity. Never Again. Gave it 1 Star because -20 is not an option.

I had ordered food in previous occasions via Uber eats and wanted to check it out in person. Came to for drinks and some bites. The door staff was very welcoming. But that's about it! The lack of attention was unbelievable. Horrible customer service. It was a waste of 10 mins before we even had a server come tend to us. And then made us move across the room because the side we were on they only served margaritas, to end up telling us that all those tables were reserved after making us move from one side of the venue to another. Needless to say very tasteless. We ended up walking a few steps to the Bend which seemed pretty quite but surprisingly we needed up having a great time, tasty drinks, and amazing service and ambience...

estuvimos por primera vez después de la pandemia, el sábado 23 de Abril/22. Voy a averiguar con la ciudad la capacidad maxima de este lugar porque es increíble como este lugar acomoda a la gente peor que a las gallinas, o sea NO HAY espacio entre mesa y mesa y si tienes un grupo grande las sillas las pegan literalmente la una a la y no hay un centímetro de espacio para moverte. Este sitio es peligroso en caso de una emergencia quedarías atrapado Servicio cero, solo habían dos meseras para cerca de 10 personas en nuestro lado, o sea q la veías si tenias suerte cada hora y para q trajera lo q se le pedia era otra hora. Tienes q tomAr tanto trago como ellos te exijan, teníamos una mesa y pedimos dos botellas de trago pero la mesera cuando aparecía decia q teníamos q pedir mas! O sea si no bebes hasta perder el sentido, no te acerques a este sitio Las sillas de nuestra mesa estaban pegadas literalmente al espaldar de las sillas de la otra mesa, cada vez q alguien salía nos empujaban y viceversa, en mad de una ocasión los dedos quedaron atrapados en esa sillas Jamas secan el piso con los tragos q se riegan (q son muchos debido al poco espacio q hay para bailar y moverse) por lo que esto también representa un peligro para caerse En oteas palabras este sitio es para Animales no para personas. Pueda q la musica sea buena, q el show sea bueno pero quien quiere ir a un lugar de tan baja clase, nosotros no!

Pésimo servicio el dia de hoy , soy un cliente frecuente pido por uber eats o vengo con frecuencia, pero el dia de hoy me atendieron muy muy mal llegue a las 4:50pm hice un pedido (sobrebarriga, cazuela mariscos) y a las 5:40pm pregunto por mi pedido y nunca lo pusieron hacer, decidido irme furioso y me cobran las dos botellas de agua que pedi para esperar una hora perdiendo el tiempo! FATAL!!!!!!!

On Sunday we went to this so called fonda to celebrate a friend's birthday. At the entrance they have 4 bouncers patting down all men and opening women's bags. Not a welcoming start. That tells you something about the place. But the most ridiculous thing was that they don't allow people in shorts or sandals! Yeah, in Florida. Of course a few of us were wearing such garments. We tried common sense to no avail. They preferred to lose our business, mind you we were a group of 20, than stopping being discriminatory. In the end, we decided not to tolerate the nonsense and went to El Patio were there were no bouncers at the door but friendly hosts who would not discriminate their customer. At El Patio we had a great time until 3:00 am. Their food is great, plenty of drinks and good live music. We don't understand why a business discriminates so blatantly and makes 20 clients to swear to never come back and tell others as well not to do it. Hurray for shorts and sandals. Freedom!

This restaurant serves delicious, fresh and authentic Colombian food. It's my go to when craving a hot and hearty soup. The lemonade is oh, so yummy too! Everything we've tried on the menu has been delicious. Definitely recommend.

The food is good but the service is bad... always blaming the Uber drivers for the food being late, every time I pick up the food is NEVER ready and have NEVER apologized for making the order wrong or having the orders late...

If I could give a 0 I would. Manager is very rude and discriminates people at the door. First he said we had to wait with no explanation. They were letting in other people, saying they had wrist bands. When they were going to allow two others without, I said it was time to attend us. But again the manager was very rude. He said we had to buy a bottle to sit inside. I agreed and he still said we had to wait because it was full. Even the bouncer apologized saying he hates how they run the place. At this point, I was not going to give my money to a place like this and was leaving. A woman that was leaving the bar, asked me, why was I leaving and mentioned that there were plenty of seats. There was another couple behind us that had the same issue, obviously they didn't fit their standards either. Idk if it's because we were only two, or women, not Colombian, etc. But clearly this manager chooses to only let in who they want.

My family has been ordering here for about a year already, we've been ordering less and less thanks to their wonderful treatment towards customers. If you order the food delivered it gets here super late, cold and soggy. They always blame it on the drivers, we started going and picking it up. They don't have the food ready after the promise time they give for another 30 minutes. Today we called again and they took our order, we asked for the price and they said they'll call us back In a few minutes since they wrote it down manually. I wait almost an hour, I get there and they say I never made an order. If I didn't call somewhere else. They all look at me like I'm crazy and after a while of arguing they find the manual order. They never apologized or anything just asked if I wanted to wait for it. I told yes and they say 15 to 20 minute wait. I tell them I'll wait in the car and I go and even get donuts for my wife. I go in and they say they're packing it. Finally get my food after another halve hour. Not a single one of them offered not even a word of apology or tried to make it up to me or anything. So I'm sorry their food delicious but their staff is full stuck up assholes (men and females) with no manners.

Walk in at 12:30 for lunch. Out of somewhere a female voice welcome me in Spanish. The place was almost in total darkness. It has no windows, no regular lights and no air condition. The only thing that lights up the place is a few beer signs and some Christmas lights. The place was almost empty at lunch. The server was dressed in typical Colombia clothing and she looked pretty. After I looked through the menu using the light on my IPhone, nothing caught my attention. I got up and left. I did not liked the vibe of the place. Enough said!

The food is delicious !! The place it's soo pretty, they were really able to take me back to Colombia. And the service was great, the waiters and waitresses were so adorable in their uniforms. For sure coming back !! :)
