DISCLAIMER: this is not a restaurant with luxuries servers or whatever. This is a typical Panamanian food and excellent savory of what Panama is.
One of my favorite go-to vegan spots if I want to save some cash. The portions are relatively good. I order a plate of rice, lentils/beans, and sometimes "tajadas". Once paid, choose a table (if eating inside) and find one of the spicy Caribbean sauces. Is not super spicy, but it does add a good umami taste and kick.
A plate of rice + lentils is 2.25$ (or 2.75$ I don't remember). With the tajada, is like an extra 1.50$ for 2 tajadas (normal portion)
