The 38 Best Kuala Lumpur Restaurants | Eater

"Take a break from the city’s frenetic pace at this tranquil dessert shop. Tucked on a second floor, the space resembles a greenhouse with lots of plants and huge glass windows. It’s a serene spot for founders Jack Lua and Chong Kin Foo to delight diners with dishes that are elaborate both visually and gastronomically, such as apple strudel with black pepper mango ice cream — which arrives camouflaged as a dumpling — or the strawberry tart with balsamic vinegar ice cream. This fully dessert shop is located on the first floor. The stairs going is located beside the tailor shop. It's a cozy cafe. There are windows overlooking the road. Their éclairs and exotic flavoured ice cream such as the masala and balsamic vinegar you must try. It gets crowded during tea time and after dinner. The desserts are a little pricey but quality is what you pay for. The coffee is good too.

Went there for dessert After birthday lunch. Not bad, dessert taste nice, apple strudel and chocolate glaze with salted caramel is a must order during the visit. black mango ice-cream taste very unique and nice. Just the price really premium, hopefully they can consider so sort of happy hour promo to attract more people To try.

Once we were their loyal fans since MCO… but after tonight, I’ll just “de-fan” this place. Honestly, it turned into one of the worst dessert bar experiences I’ve had. What kind of customer service is this? After gaining fame, this is how you treat your customers? Even with the boss present, we were just chased away like that. Here’s what happened. We were really looking forward to enjoying their desserts. When we arrived, there were some empty seats, though not enough for all 4 of us. We were fine with 2 seats and 2 of us standing at the bar. But the owner, who was sitting there, told us that if we sat, it would be a hindrance to “high traffic.” Instead, he asked us to sit outside just on a bench. Fine, we sat. But then they closed the entrance door and no one came out to attend to us. What a pity. It was really sad because we had supported them since MCO, always excited to come back, yet this time we were treated so poorly. This will definitely be the last time for me. There are plenty of other dessert places in town with good quality, better customer service, and the right attitude.

Accidentally discover this dessert place and all I can say is definitely worth checking it out. Didn’t manage to try any of their main desserts, just their ice cream and it was so good (really good quality). We ordered their earl grey chocolate and masala chai flavors and both tasted really unique and rich. Other than that, their interior is really cozy, warm, aesthetic and hint of English cottage kind of design. Great for taking pictures!

Ordered the pavlova, would prefer it without the passion fruit, maybe the passion fruit that day was super sour or maybe it’s the intention to balance out the sweetness? But the super sour passion fruit made the desert unenjoyable. The window seating is nice but the chairs are not quite comfortable. The vibe of the whole place is quite vintage which is nice. Went at 6pm and there was no wait.

The Belgian chocolate coffee (Mocha) is good. The chocolate does not hide the coffee taste. The panna cotta is a must to try. Not too sweet and the right texture. Creamy and just right the taste. The ambient is good, relaxing and good place to hangout

A Must-Visit Dessert Spot for Late-Night Treats! 🍰☕ This has become one of my favorite dessert cafes, and it’s no surprise that the place gets busier as the night goes on. There aren’t many dessert cafes open this late, which makes it a go-to spot for sweet cravings! We’ve visited at least 7-8 times, and tonight we tried the Chocolate Glaze Eclair with Salted Caramel Ice Cream. The presentation was stunning—like an edible masterpiece. The glossy chocolate glaze and crunchy peanuts added a perfect texture, making every bite satisfying. The real star, however, was the Salted Caramel Ice Cream—absolutely delicious! Eating everything together created a wonderful mix of flavors and textures, and pairing it with a smooth latte made it even better. What truly sets this place apart is the artistic craftsmanship of their desserts. Every creation looks like it belongs in a luxury patisserie display, with incredible attention to detail. It’s not just dessert—it’s an experience! The only downside? Many of their previous cake options are no longer available, as the menu is now more dessert-focused. It would be great if they brought back more cake varieties! ✅ A fantastic spot for dessert lovers, with beautifully crafted treats and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended!
