Google
First time here. Did not check reviews which i usually do. I had the Northern burger well done. It was one of the best burgers I've ever had! I had it to go and was surprised to see veggies were put separate so burger wouldn't be soggy. So thoughtful! Bread was soft and everything just went well together. Fries were tasty as well. I wasn't too sure if my 7 year old would eat them but he loved them too. I did say yes to ranch and ketchup but was disappointed when it wasn't on bag. Food would have tasted even better. A bit pricy for my liking but will love to go here for my birthday in June! Definitely give it a try.

Google
According to my 10 year old daughter, you make the best pizza she's ever tasted! I guess she's a fan of focaccia :) On our end, the food was ok. Good beer selection, but the food was rather bland for us. Amazing fries and mac n cheese.

We couldn’t have asked for a better catering experience for our wedding! From the very beginning, Hank and his team was professional, attentive, and incredibly easy to work with. They took the time to understand our vision and delivered a menu that was not only beautifully presented but absolutely delicious. The staff on the day of the wedding were courteous, efficient, and blended seamlessly with the flow of the event. They made sure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy our special day. If you’re looking for a catering team that goes above and beyond, look no further. They exceeded all expectations and truly helped make our wedding unforgettable. We’re so grateful!

Google
Pork Belly Banh Mi—best sandwich I’ve ever had. Rich, balanced, and full of flavor. I waited 15 min before being acknowledged at the bar (wasn’t busy), but once helped, service was kind and smooth. Food: 10/10. Atmosphere: 9.5. Highly recommend

Google
I can't believe I spent $20 on a "bahn mi". Never again. I'm sure some of the other food is probably good but it's all way overpriced for my taste. Perhaps the chef is trying to recreate the "bahn mi" in their own way but unfortunately it just ain't it. The pickled veggies had good flavor but all in all, it ain't anything like a bahn mi.

Google
Tried the root beer pulled pork sandwich and a side of potato salad. Service was quick! Sandwich was good, could really taste the root beer and the slaw was a complimentary contrast. Bread was super soft and fresh. The pork itself was just a tad tough. Potato salad was decent, with nice chunks of bacon (porkstrami?) in it.

Google
I've had just about everything on the menu and it never disappoints. Made from scratch daily breads and the local ingredients really shine in all the recipes. The local brewery's on tap (20 taps) is a big plus. Not only is the food and service always top notch, they also offer classes (sausage making, bread making, etc) and beer pairing dinners. Definitely a highly recommended stop.

Google
Overall, looks like a decent place to relax and have a sandwich. They offer craft beers and customer service is good. There's a lot of space, and is very roomy and open. It appears that they have a lot of open space in their front refrigerated space, so I'm not sure what they intend to accomplish. I ordered the Wardens Western and it is phenomenal! The BBQ sauce is so tasty! When I ordered, I asked the wait time and was told "no longer than 10 minutes". There was approximately 5 people who ordered before me. It took 15 minutes, which I found to be pretty impressive that they were able to push food out that quick. My piece of advice is to go before 1145 am otherwise you will have a little longer wait. They currently have no phone line to accept preorders.

Yelp
There are meals, and then there are moments wrapped in bread, dipped in jus, and sipped with a golden pint of calm. Today's lunch at Food Fix wasn't just satisfying--it was soul-level good. The Swine Dive sandwich is a revelation. Their house porkstrami, tender and perfectly seasoned, melts beneath creamy Havarti and tangy horseradish aioli. The bolillo roll holds it all like a sacred trust. Dipped in the rich beef jus, each bite feels like a full sentence of comfort and conviction. It doesn't ask for your attention--it earns it. The mac & cheese--crispy-topped, creamy-souled--is the kind of side that wants to be your main. It doesn't overpower; it harmonizes. Soul food dressed up just enough to remind you it's still humble. And then the Hellalujah Lager. Clean. Refreshing. Named with humor but brewed with care. A perfect pint to sip slowly while the afternoon leans in and the world softens a bit. The vibe of the place? Warm, unpretentious, alive with stickered stories and the low hum of comfort. The staff is grounded, the owner present, and the energy easy. It's a place where you belong, even if you're just passing through. Final word: This lunch wasn't just food. It was alignment.

Yelp
pulling into town to visit my father I realized it was a bit late to go there and then go back out for something to eat. So rang him up and got his order and slid over to Food Fix. Ordered a Pepper Jack Club and an Angry Bluebird with the Blue on the side - and a beer to drink while waiting. Service was efficient, had to hurry my beer. The sandos were quite good, though a bit messy by the time I got to Pop's. Glad I got my blue on the side, or it would have been a bit of a soggy mess. I'm not a fan of DDD, I find the host annoying and most places that are featured tens to get overwhelmed and quality goes down. But they do find some good places. I didn't go to Food Fix because of the show and only learned it was on the show when I went there. Is it changed since being on the show? I don't know because this was my first time there.

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times & I thought it was about time to review it. I love the vibe in here, it's laidback & comfy for me. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating. If you aren't sitting at the bar, you just walk up to the counter & they take your order & hand you a number and you seat yourself. They have a good selection of beer, always a plus! The menu is a majority burgers and sandwiches with a hint of salads. Limited on the vegetarian options. I do like how instead of "Soup of the Day" they have "Mac of the Day" which is a different type of Mac n Cheese. I ended up ordering the Monterey Mac (Mac of the Day) & Rattlesnake Fries without black beans. The mac was good but I preferred the Rattlesnake Fries were YUMS! The fries are on the thinner side & were seasoned (Old Bay, I think, I could be wrong) --- I would definitely get again!

Yelp
This is a great little spot in Modesto. We went to attend a comedy show and had a blast. The food is original and delicious! One thing to note is the portions are a bit smaller than we expected, so if you're hungry you may need to order more.

Yelp
I read all the reviews and had high hopes coming into Food Fix. The menu is full of sandwich and burger options that sound Delicious! I chose the bahn mi nachos because the flavor profile sounded amazing, and root beer pulled pork? How can you resist? I ate them all, cleaned my plate; they were decent...they just didn't live up to the expectation. I went with a group and that was pretty much the sentiment...the food was decent but for the price (and considering the great reviews) we left a little disappointed. My table mates had sandwiches and complained about the lack of meat and excess filler. The place itself was cool, service was quick. It looked like they had some great beers on tap. If I'm in town again, maybe I'll give them another try. Like I said, there's so much to choose from, maybe I just need another shot at it.

Yelp
Super cool, welcoming and relaxing vibe! Came in here with my little guy and was immediately greeted warmly by a server. She explained the menu and made the best recommendation! I got a turkey club with pepper jack and jalapeño mac and cheese, ( my favorite!!). Not to mention the best mimosa everrr! Will be back again soon!

Yelp
Food Fix is a great spot for happy hour, especially on Wednesdays! The deals are solid, and the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and creative, definitely a step above your typical bar bites. The happy hour menu offers generous portions at great prices, making it a perfect time to try a variety of dishes. The bartender service is awesome, friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, good drinks, great price and great service during happy hour! They have a great ambiance! Daily 2-5 HAPPY HOUR MONDAY- $6 hazy's special TUESDAY- tapas Wednesdays - west coast IPA's special $6

Yelp
Jacob found this place on our trip through Modesto. It's a pretty chill spot with an open concept. I guess it started as a food truck that was featured on GGG. The guy at the counter greeted us at the door, offered suggestions and checked on us as if he owned the place. Very nice guy! I got the Italian stallion, since it's one of my go to sandwiches. The bun was soft and completely home made. It had the lightest toast on it. They had mortadella, which every Italian knows is the best bologna in the world. lol. It was definitely one of the best I've had. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. The cheese was fresh, the meat was fresh, the bread was...well, fresh of course. Oh yeah, Jacob did the Luau. It was DEVINE!!! That pork was incredible. It tasted different from any pork I've ever had. It was almost a mix of pork loin and ham. I know, I know, same animal. But, totally different tastes. The sauce, the cheese and the pineapple gave this sandwich such an elevated level of flavors. The bun of course was a fresh pretzel roll. If I could only recreate that pork, I would eat it weekly. lol

Yelp
WHY WE WENT HERE: - dinner with a friend THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located on 11th St in between J St and I St - street parking and 11st Street Parking Garage (across the street) available THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - order first, seat yourself with your order number you get from the cashier - spacious with bar seating and standalone tables and chairs - sandwich place meets bar vibes with live entertainment THE MENU: - signature sandwiches - fancy sides - salads - food with friends - drinks - hand crafted pickles & preserves WHAT WE ORDERED: - Swine Dive with Red Chipotle Mac - Pulled Pork Bahn Mi Nachos - Luau Tacos - Crossfade Tacos THE TASTE: - Swine Dive with Red Chipotle Mac - sandwich was SUPER salty with no balance or contrast; red chipotle mac had some spice but definitely not the best mac I've ever had - Pulled Pork Bahn Mi Nachos - loved the salty sweetness and wonton chips but NOT banh mi flavored at all - Luau Tacos - pineapple was too overpowering for me; it was OK - Crossfade Tacos - enjoyed the chicken and sauce on this CUSTOMER SERVICE: - so-so for ordering - the lady who led the trivia was the real winner - trivia was more enjoyable than the food

Yelp
Fantastic food, great flavors, good selection of beers and really good friendly service!!! VERY CHILL SO GLAD WE CAME HERE AND WILL BE BACK!!!

Yelp
Don't often go downtown for dinner, as most of the restaurants are closed after 3:00. Heard good things about Food Fix, so we gave it a try. Casual, open space with patio seating out front. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. I enjoy a good French dip, so I ordered the porkstrami dive. It was delicious and different from anything I've had before. It came with seasoned fries that were served in a mini fry basket. So cute. Hubby had the Wagu hamburger with porkstrami. He seemed to enjoy it, but complained to me about the bun falling apart toward the end of his meal. I want to try one of the nachos next time. They looked delicious, too.

Yelp
Definitely come and check out Food Fix & Butcher! We came in for a weekend dinner and were thinking of getting their sandwiches. It had been a while since we had eaten here, we didn't realize that their menu had been updated. We turned the menu over and realized they now had burgers and fusion tacos. What we ordered: Wagyu Beef Burger-Southern: this was drool worthy. Sooo good! Definitely something to try here! Crossfade Tacos: these were surprisingly really good! I'm not too sure what we were expecting, but it was definitely tacos bursting with flavor. Rattlesnake Fries with Pull Pork: this was the star of the night. It was was something that can be shared, or not, your choice. However, there is so much flavor in every bite. The items on the back of the traditional menu are something to considere when visiting. Everything we had was so tasty and delicious. The cashier was super helpful and kind. She offered water to us as we waited, which was going above and beyond. There are plenty of tables and chairs to eat inside. They also have some outside seating. Definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Insanely good food ! Wow everything made is from scratch including the meats Complete treasure of an eating establishment my new favorite in Modesto, and frankly the entire state of California this holds its own. Hank the owner is the real deal entirely, can't do better than his place...enjoy!
google avatar

Yelp
This place is ok, especially for the prices they are charging. Brought my wife to lunch and spent $50 on a sandwich and some ahi tuna nachos and two drinks (non alcoholic). Don't get me wrong the sandwich was decent and my wife seemed to enjoy her nachos but for what I paid the quality just wasn't there. The food came fast and they did bring our food to the table but other than that there wasn't anything real special about it.

Yelp
Came to Food Fix Butcher and Baker with a friend for a weeknight dinner catch-up. Apparently this place was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri, so I was excited to try it! Located right off 11th Street next to With the large black shades covering most of the storefront, signage is almost non-existent. So when I accidentally walked next door to the bakery, I thought the restaurant was closed. After walking back to my car across the street did I realize I attempted to enter the wrong establishment. Whoops! The inside consists of a bar area and an ordering counter for food. There are also a couple of arcade cabinets, which gave the place a cool vibe. You order at the counter and then seat yourself. We ordered: - Banh mi nachos - I liked the wonton chips, but the flavor profile was NOTHING like a banh mi. Tomatoes? Lack of pickled carrot/daikon. My head is in my hands with the gentrification/misnomer of this dish. Do not call this Banh Mi nachos, please. - Crossfade tacos - Super oily/dripping wet, and honestly $13 for 2 tacos seems like highway robbery? The meat wasn't the star, and instead the tortilla was all I could taste. - Luau tacos - Definitely more flavorful than the Crossfade, but only because the pineapple overpowered the dish. Both taco dishes came with pickled jalapeno and carrot on the side, which felt a little out of place (since the tacos were very fusion vs. traditional Mexican). - Swine Dive sandwich with red pepper chipotle mac n cheese - The Swine Dive was SO salty. The au jus only made it saltier and greasier. The mac n cheese had a nice spicy kick, but the Cheeto dust that they sprinkle on top was very stale. We were SUPER hungry so finished mostly everything despite not everything tasting as good as we hoped. Coincidentally, we came on a Thursday in which the establishment hosts trivia nights with KingTrivia.com. We were able to stick around for 2 rounds, but this seemed like such a fun spot to play trivia and grab a beer or two with friends. I could not see myself returning to Butcher & Baker for its food, but could possibly be convinced if it's for trivia night.

Yelp
Hella local! A local staple with a fresh take on quality home style food. My family stopped by to celebrate Father's Day! We made reservations just in case. We arrived at 12:30pm on a Sunday. Plenty of seating available and was not busy at this time. People started to trickle in closer to 1-1:30pm. Food ordered 1.) poke nachos- delicious for California 2.) battered artichoke hearts- yummy can't go wrong 3.) root beer pulled pork sandwich - seasoned well and juicy and the bread is delicious. 4.) club sandwich- delicious!! The bread is soooo goooood!!! 5.) pig skins( potato skins)- these need some work. In my opinion these need a lot of everything. I would not order these again. Others: -reasonably priced -reservations available - plenty of parking on the street -inside and outside dinging - bar with craft beer inside - tv's on - bathrooms in the back ( multi stalls) - order and pay up front. You get your sodas by yourself in the mini fridge - they started as a food truck!!! So cool Love local businesses!!!

Yelp
WOW FACTOR? Yes, attractive and interesting menu options. HAVE AGAIN: The Crossfade tacos, clam chowder and pulled pork sandwich were all very good. However, the tacos were the smallest I've ever had. Good thing I had the chowder and part of the pulled pork.

Yelp
Stopped in Modesto en route to somewhere and was surprised to find a very quiet downtown and this bright open restaurant at prime lunchtime. Maybe this is the part of downtown mainly frequented by office workers on weekdays? Staff was friendly and so were the few other patrons inside. Still felt odd this lovely big space was so empty though. They had lots of local-ish beer offerings to go with their sandwiches, a bakery section with lots of goodies, so we shared some of those. The sandwiches we tried were all good - hearty portions! Priced higher than I thought it'd be in Modesto at $20-$22 a sandwich with small side. I think my ranking would be 1. pork belly banh mi 2. pulled pork 3. porkstrami The banh mi had best variety of textures and flavors. Glad they had a healthy-ish quinoa salad option that reminds me of Costco's, in a good way. I can eat a lot of that.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious!!!! They have best flavored potato salad, green salad with chipotle dressing. Our server recommended her favorite and she was right it was amazing ... Lual sandwich with pineapple. It has an amazing sauce. I had the porkstrami on pretzel roll. The pretzel roll is made in house and it was fabulous. I personally think there was a little too much mustard sauce but it might just be a personal preference. Next time I'll ask for lighter sauce. Yes there will be a next time. The only reason not a 5 star was a little high price and the pickle was very off tasting.
google avatar

Sela G.

Yelp
The Bahn does not taste like a Bahn,BUT it is delicious. Friendly staff. Food comes out a little slow. We came to Modest from the San Bernardino area. I wish I was closer to this place, hubby and I would definitely frequent this joint.

Yelp
We made a reservation to celebrate mom's birthday but didn't need it. Came in at 3pm. A lot of dirty tables but we did find a clean one understanding we came in after a possible lunch rush. We all ordered something different and everyone was satisfied! Root beer pulled pork... amazing! Northern Burger... amazing! Great bread and the side were tasty. Loved the coleslaw! We will be back. We didn't know about this place till we started looking for a place that did pulled pork because that's what mom wanted. So now we will think of this place when we want pulled pork
google avatar

Alysha J.

Yelp
Food and staff were wonderful. These folks don't skimp on anything. All flavors are well thought out and delicious. We will be back often.
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
The food is great but the prices are $$$. I realize the costs of doing business are probably the same as SoCal but $20 for sandwich doesn't include fries (extra $3). Even higher end spots in Carpinteria aren't over $14 for a sandwich. It was pretty empty during lunchtime. The basic chick and peppered club were excellent. Came by because it's right next to the children's museum. Definitely a good location.
google avatar

Tanya C.

Yelp
The rattlesnake fries (like nachos but with fries) was so good and perfectly spicy, with house pickled jalapeños. They provided tap water at no charge, which is refreshing since many restaurants sell you a bottled water when you ask for water.

Yelp
I used FoodFix's catering for a company lunch. Their catering service is top-tier, and everyone enjoyed the food--especially their mac-n-cheese and attentionto detail! The owner, Hank, really amazed me. He was so patient with us as we adjusted our headcount multiple times--adding more people, then reducing, then adding more food again. I was pretty embarrassed to change our order so many times, but Hank reassured me that his priority was making sure we got exactly what we needed. The quality of the food and attention to detail, even making sure he packed a serving spoon for our tray of mac-n-cheese, plates, napkins, extra sides, was impressive. Thanks to Hank and his crew, I will be ordering from here again in the future. Check out their box lunch menu for catering but also give Hank a call and he work with you and be flexible. Love supporting a great local business!

Yelp
Food was great. We went here for dinner before walking over to the Gallow center to see our show.

Yelp
Food was good and so was the brew. Vibe was good hopefully I can make it to open mic night and see some comedians next time

Yelp
I loved walking into the food fix butcher. It is incredibly spaces with lots of room. They have a bar area that serves beer on tap but I got the Turkey club . The meat was very fresh and the bacon was extra crispy. The chedder Mac was my side choice and that was just as good. The cashier that helped me was also very friendly and helpful, he let me sample some of the sours that I am sure I will be going back for more. Highly recommend .

Yelp
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the Mac n cheese. They were delicious. No picture- sorry. The iced tea was very good - light and refreshing. We tried the S'mores, PB&J, and cinnamon (can't remember name) cookies. They were amazing. I brought home a container of their homemade pickles. I will say it was very loud in there. Outdoor seating is an option too. The customer service was excellent

Richie P.

Yelp
Best burger I've had in awhile. The cheese the wagyu the homemade buns. Will definitely be coming back whenever I'm in Modesto again.

Allison W.

Yelp
Service was great, Food came out fast. Hands down this is the best burger I've never had!!!

Yelp
Another first! Came here with my nephew and his mother in law to have lunch. Glad I did. I've been get used to trying different things and I am hooked on lobster rolls. This place did not disappoint! It was delicious. Lots of meat and great flavor! Service was great and very quick! I been to a lot of places and have had a lot of rolls. This is in my top 4! I do recommend this to you if your close by.

Yelp
Awesome place with great sandwiches. We had the luau (pork) with the potato salad, and it was big enough for me and my kid to share. Well designed and delicious sandwich, a bit pricey, but it included the side. Great relaxed space, and appeared pretty popular as a steady stream of people came in for late lunches. I didn't partake in the beer, but what they had looked interesting.

Marcus P.

Yelp
Best service & great food. Love it here. Also has open mic comedy every 2nd Monday of the month! Great times there.

john m.

Yelp
St. Paddy day, Irish nachos, Bangers and Mash was amazing. 2 thumbs up. Tap takeover from Altamont had tasty "Irish beer " too
google avatar

Julie F.

Yelp
Came for the trivia with family. Enjoyed the porkstrami pretzel. I had them hold the mayo and man did they slather on the mustard. Normally with a pastrami it's hard to notice much else, not with this sandwich, it was all mustard. The fix fries are amazing, don't skip these. Despite not being very busy we couldn't keep our waters filled.
google avatar

Brenda M.

Yelp
I came across this business on social media and I am so happy I came to check it out! Parking was easy, we were able to find street parking and there is a parking garage across the street. I ordered the pepper jack sandwich and my husband ordered the clam chowder soup. The best part was definitely the bread and everything was perfectly cooked! I loved it! My husband said his clam chowder was the best he's had. Our cashier told us that it is a family recipe! There is also a bar area if you'd like to grab drinks. Also, there is a small bakery area and the cookies were top notch! I highly recommend this spot!

Yelp
One of the unique dining options in downtown Modesto. The food is amazing and very fusion forward to meet everyone's taste buds. The house-made iced tea is amazing. They also have a large selection of local craft brews. Ordering is easy, and food is delivered quickly to a table that you select. You have the option of eating inside, outside, or getting it to go. Staff is quick, efficient, and friendly. Though the service is semi-cafeteria in style, the staff still checks in and ensures you are enjoying your time. The decor of the restaurant is unique, just like the food. The paintings are amazing and bring in pops of color. The celing is designed to keep the volume down so you can hear your company.

Yelp
Service was great, very friendly staff. Came here after visiting the Children's museum with my family. We were in good company because 3 of the 4 additional parties also had children (I recognized them from the Children's museum.) If you are vegan/vegetarian/pescetarian - don't come here. This is not the place for you. I ordered the Poke Nachos. At $20, I was hesitant, but figured they might be good if they were offered on the menu, right? I WAS SO WRONG. The poke nachos ARE NOT NACHOS "in essence" of any kind. This dish is a poorly made salad. Don't be fooled like me. I received *LITERALLY* -MAYBE- 6 wonton chips with a miniscule amount of poke. The mixed greens were old (brown and wilted). I saw maybe 3 tiny slices of cucumber and some cabbage. There was a lot of tomato, which kind of makes me think they were trying to mask the lack of tuna with a ton of red tomato. I haven't felt this ripped off in a while. At a time when I rarely go out to eat because money is tight....this food experience SUCKED! What a rip-off. Jeez. I can't forsee myself coming here ever again, to be honest.
google avatar

Leah B.

Yelp
So glad we decided to come here for lunch! Everything was top notch. We were waited on right away, were given excellent and knowledgeable recommendations, and our food and drinks came out promptly. My friend and I got the lobster roll with clam chowder and poke nachos to share. We were impressed with everything. Great selection of beer and cider on tap, as well as a small selection of wine. Tasty, casual, cool! I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Burgertime!!! Had the Northern Burger today... My son just got home from a long international trip down under and he was craving a real American burger. I suggested trying the new Food Fix Burgers... we each had the Northern Burger... Fresh delicious ingredients. Meat was perfection and the bun was bun-tastic. We will definitely order this again, but now the other amazing sandwiches might be jealous. Sorry Porkstrami, we will be back. FYI-Cookies are redonculous too.

Star G.

Yelp
I used to love this place back when they were in the food truck. But the prices are outrageous! $19 for a salad! I've never been able to get a porkstrami since they moved to the store because they are so expensive! The bakery next door is the same. The crust on the cheese cake was too hard to eat. Everyone, including cashier/cook and owner, was at the bar. I miss the food truck. The fries were good, though. EDIT: I find it odd to receive a negative private message by this restaurant/owner(?) Instead of a public reply. Many others have had the same complaints lately.

Sarah P.

Yelp
Easily the worst service I've ever had. Server never checked on us, food was late, food was cold once it arrived. Never going back.
google avatar

Ashley Q.

Yelp
I really enjoy coming to this spot. Hank and his team remember your face and are always knowledgeable about the food and beer selection. The homemade ciabatta bread is delish! I'm not into red meat or pork but you can order chicken. If you are lucky enough to land on a day when Hanks Corn Chowder is being served... I promise you will NOT be disappointed. Comes with a couple thin crispy ciabatta slices to compliment this yummy soup! indoor/outdoor seating. Clean inside. And has Bar to sit and enjoy beer and food. if your lucky... you will meet Hank he's a cool dude.

Yelp
The root beer pulled pork and the swine dive were to die for!!!!! I wish I could eat here everyday.

Yelp
Visited the museum next door and was super excited to try out this restaurant but unfortunately was disappointed with our experience Gave two stars for the food and the positive attitude of the two ladies that were working. When we arrived it was not busy maybe a family of four and a gentlemen at the bar area, wait time from time of entrance to order was 10 min itself. Finally put in our order and seated ourselves. Food wait was about 15-20 min, the entire time there we had no water or the beer we ordered. Luckily we brought in our water bottles because unfortunately the ladies were so busy that they didn't get to our water and kept forgetting to serve it to us. All the tables and I do mean ALL of the tables (inside and outside) were messy with plates and garbage sitting on top. There was only a cook and the two ladies working and it got pretty busy fast. Ordered the Angry Bird Sandwich with Mac and cheese and it was amazing but the size of it for $20 was pretty pricey. Happy to have tasted the food but won't be returning.

Yelp
Dog on the counter but the salad was alright for the price. Service was fantastic. I was really impressed by the service. What upset me was they allow dogs inside a place where they serve food. I guess Modesto does not have health standards. It is managements fault for not properly training their employees on how to deal with dog owners. This photo shows the dog jumping off the counter. Sorry. Will not be eating here again.

Yelp
First time here. Food was amazing. We got the Lobster Roll and Swine Dive, and both sandwiches were amazing! As were their fries and potato salad. You could really taste the freshness in the ingredients, and that bread. Mm mm mm. Fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside. The absolute best! We can't wait to come back to try other items on their menu. Awesome craft beer selection if that's your thing. We love our doubles and triples. Our server made great recs.
