Apple Ford is a quality dealership. No games, no hard sell, no BS. If you want a hassle-free experience, go here. Ben Salerno at Apple Ford of York PA was really outstanding. It was a pleasure buying a car through him and this dealership. I had absolutely no issues or problems, and buying my Mustang Mach E GT PE was a breeze. Ben Salerno was even taking care of details and making sure everything proceeded smoothly while I was out of the country and unavailable for a week as the car arrived. This is a quality dealership, and I'm fortunate to have such a good dealership nearby.

UPDATE The service manager contacted me and made things right by refunding me the $82 back. I am satisfied with this resolution. Brought my Ford SUV here due to damage that was partially covered by my insurance thinking because they are a Ford dealership I would get quality service. As far as I know the damage was repaired (I'm not a mechanic) but I requested an oil change while it was there which included topping off all fluids and for over $82 it should! no fluids were topped off and in fact there was zero windshield wiper fluid, the antifreeze was below minimum, i am not even sure they did the oil change. I called, no one was available but I was assured they would tell them. I messaged via their website. I e-mailed one of the service managers. its now over 24 hours later and no one has tried to reach me. BEWARE, THEY DO NOT CARE, they take the money but do not provide the service.

I travelled over 100 miles to look at vehicle that was listed. Test drove the vehicle and came to terms on the vehicle. Went outside to look at the vehicle again and discovered that the original key for the vehicle would not start the car. I asked David Adams about this and he did not address my concerns about the key in a fashion that I thought was appropriate. His comment was you want me to lose money by getting you a factory key? There was also a issue with the rear cup holder and again David's comment was what do expect it's a 10 year old car. What really got me was when David states are you buying the vehicle or not. After this comment, I quickly decided that this was not the dealership for me!!! Looking back on my experience with Apple Ford York, I left with a bad taste in my mouth. David, in my opinion did not handle this like he was trying to sell a vehicle. Was this because of how I looked?

Scheduled an appt. and put it in my calendar only to find out when I got there that I had NO appt. scheduled! I'm having issues with the key fobs or the receiver in the car. Key fobs work sporadically. I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to unlock or lock or start the car one of these days. They first wanted to try a new coin battery ( already did that, but ok), so they put a new one in one of my two fobs. Of course they "both" worked today, but maybe not tomorrow. So now that I'm not scheduled with an appt I have to make one for diagnostics. The girl who "helped me" didn't care about my dilemma and was rude about the issue I was having!! Yes, In total frustration I said, so what the f*** am I supposed to do now?! I did apologize but she didn't care. I bet she would've if it were her car, one that she depends on to get back and forth to work. I'll never go back there again. I didn't appreciate the way this was handled. Especially since I did schedule an appt.. Brianna, maybe you should look into why your scheduler person didn't schedule my appt.! A man who works at this location asked if I knew of the name of that person, (who scheduled my appt.), but I didn't realize I had to get a name. Thought I could just make the call, put it in my calendar and have an appt.. All I know is that it was a guy with whom I talked to. There's nothing more to say other than I won't be back.

If you ever get your car serviced here make sure you double check it before it goes in and comes out there always trying some funny business practices my Frist car they broke the oil filter cap on it and they try to charge me for a new one my 14 fusion they strip my oil drain plug and didn't say anything about they where waiting for me to change my oil so they can try to charge me for it my 18 Mitsubishi Outlander they told me that they reset it and 3 months later it's still has it the service desk try to tell me it was Ware and tear

This was the absolute worse salesman the I have ever dealt with. He only cared about his next days off and didn't do anything I asked him to do to get the car ready for delivery to me. It was missing a key fob and he told me to get one myself. There was a problem with one of the third row headrests that needed to be replaced, and one of the door handles had a long gash in it and needed to be replaced or repaired. I told him I had to have the car by Monday so my wife could drive it to work Tuesday. All he told me was he was off and wouldn't be back until Tuesday. He never offered to get someone else to do the delivery. I told him to get someone else to do it. Reluctantly he did arrange for the delivery to be that Friday. After thinking about it I realized that for the few miles that were on the car it had to many things wrong with it. I called the manager the afternoon before we were supposed to pick it up and told him what happened and that we no longer wanted the vehicle. He tried to be accommodating but at that point I'd had enough. Friday night after the dealership closed I went by to see if the car was still there. It was and none of the repairs had been done to it. There was no way it would have been ready if they hadn't started it when I called Thursday afternoon when I called. Never again will I go to this dealer for anything.

So I pull in this morning and the quick lube lane is blocked with a car with trunk and door open, which is fine I pull in behind and go inside. I'm next in line, and others behind me in line. Only woman at one of the stations, seems to be in NO hurry, and I'm trying just drop off to get to work. You would thing at 8:30 AM on Tuesday morning there would be more than one person working to receive customers. Guess I'll get my work done elsewhere...

I bought a 2019 VW GLI 35th Anniversary edition from apple ford on 07/10/2021. I spent 27500 on this vehicle because I was told that the vehicle was very nice and kept up with by the previous owner, that it was checked out by their service department and there was no issues and in "Great condition with like new tires". It was overpriced a bit which I didn't mind at the time because they told me the car was in great condition with like new tires. That is how they advertised the vehicle to me. I had mentioned that it sounded slightly loud because that was a concern of mine and I was told that it was checked out so no issues and that it was just the brand of tire. The tires are actually not good and were suggested to me to be replaced because they had cupping and uneven wear. The front needed to be realigned and the one ball joint needs replaced and there was a non safety recall. They refused to look at the vehicle because they said they cant look at it for just a "loud engine". That is crazy because i have 2 appointments set up to confirm the issues with this vehicle. I went to Jeff D'Ambrosio VW which they were more then happy to look at the vehicle for me. They had fixed the recall for me and were willing to fix the ball-joint and rotate and rebalance the tires to hopefully help till i decide to replace them. All of this took a lot of my time and added unnecessary miles to the vehicle just because Apple didn't do their do-diligence and lied. I had a meeting with the GM at apple and he said they would replace 2 tires for free and to be honest that isn't good enough. We told him we might still write a review and he said why would i even give you the tires then. He was very arrogant and condescending at times. He said it was my fault and I didn't have to buy the car. When i mentioned all the problems within the first 2 weeks of owning the car he said they aren't a VW dealership and they aren't tire experts. He said their sister store looked at the vehicle and never stated that they looked over the vehicle. This contradicts what the salesmen said and I've now realized they lied to me to make a sale. This dealership has no integrity and gives ford dealerships a bad name.
