"Experienced chef Matt Healy – a onetime 'MasterChef: The Professionals' contestant – has come home to Horsforth to open this rustic bistro and wine bar. His appealing menu features appetising small plates with Mediterranean influences; two or three per person works well, and there are some well-chosen wines, craft beers and cocktails too." - Michelin Inspector

Went for a special occasion and the food was insanely amazing. The cambert and the steak were mind blowing. For the price it’s crazy we were shocked it’s a steal. The staff members couldn’t have been more attentive. Cannot wait to come back.

Fairly good but not outstanding. Quite a lot of the menu seemed to be more about sourcing and combinations than cookery. Tomatoes, burrata and figs good quality, for example. Normal butter and Marmite butter with bread were creamy. Pork extremely tender but portion was quite small, especially compared to the giant hash brown. The concept of 'it's served when it's ready' can result in odd situations like being served a giant hash brown last with no other dishes to accompany it. Cleverer set-up would be for waiting or kitchen staff to pair the dishes you've ordered.

What an absolute gem of a place. Great food, lovely staff, and fantastic value for money. Strongly recommend a few things, including the baked camembert board, the chicken and egg (which was utterly incredible - so many flavours and textures), and the lobster croquettes. We had five sharing plates, a dessert each, and a cocktail each. Came to £100. Absolute bargain for the quality.

Wonderful, delicious choice of small plates. Hard to choose a favourite but the pig cheek bourguinon is up there. Would recommend over-ordering to try as many dishes as possible and graze away. Great service too.

Taken aback by this wonderful treat! A warming and inviting environment with an intimate table/bar dining, wonderful menu and all the food, wine and cocktails we had were superb. Excellent value for money too- bonus!

Unfortunately the food was quite bland and didn't match the price point. A bit disappointing overall but a good spot if you are looking for a nice glass of wine.

First visit and definitely won't be the last! What a gem of a place. I'd forgotten how much I liked Horsforth. We booked for a late Sunday lunch at 4pm. We arrived early and were seated straight away. Friendly, personable young man waited on our table. We had 2 courses, drinks and coffee. 'Hollyflower Cheese' was absolutely scrummy.😋 Restaurant not too busy. Great music in the background. Thank you.😋
