"Foreland is the new McMinnville brewery opened by Sean Burke, specializing in hop-forward beers, mixed-culture beers, and lagers. The brewery focuses on incorporating wine grapes into their beers and plans to eventually make wine. They have released two IPAs, a Vienna lager, and a pilsner available in 16 ounce cans, partnering with Block 15 for distribution. Instead of opening a taproom, they are selling cans in stores and plan to bring food trucks to the brewery premises." - Ron Scott

Great beer and spacious outdoor seating. We really enjoyed the unique flavors of Chaparros Pupuseria food truck too!

This place has a great patio and really great beer! You can tell that they care about the quality of the beer that they are putting out there. The staff were incredibly nice and took time to explain the different styles.

We stopped to try them out and they were open. Somebody was spraying in the brewery and said hi to us and nothing else and turned their back and never spoke to us again. Lights weren't even on...super weird. We left and the guy spraying the hose in the brewery didn't even care....clearly not the owner. We spent a couple hundrent at another place in town with the keg we purchased of a beer I liked...don't know if forland sells kegs to people, but if they do they sure missed out....won't be back and will encourage friends not to go.

Yelp
Nice beer experience with ForeLand Beer! Based out of McMinnville, Oregon... a place I am intrigued with due to McMenamins' UFO festival and my obsession with the town and it's breweries steadily became to be more of a priority. But to stay on topic and not go on and on about how exciting it would be for me to go to a UFO festival I will delve onto the beers I had from this brewery. I had two beers from ForeLand and both were very solid! Probably my favorite was the Glass Volcano, a dark lager with a great roasty, coffee flavor with a bit of sweetness. It then has a clean finish which contributed to a very enjoyable lager overall. Mesmeric Gaze was the next beer Steve and I enjoyed. It was an IPA with very fine flavors of pine and citrus generating a slightly tropical reminder. One of the better IPA'S I have had in the last month or so. Definitely a rewarding beer experience with this brewery and a worthy stop to make regardless if UFO's are involved or not.

Yelp
A great brewery with a wide selection that is sure to please everyone. Having an English style summer ale right now and it is amazing! Fresh, summery, but with a slight hop that makes it unique and tasty! Also had a nut brown ale which is very true to form with a coffee and nutty taste! Lots of other great choices as well such as a farmhouse, a west coast IPA, a German Pilsner, and many more! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Up and coming! Tucked away right off the main drag in McMinnville, Oregon. Foreland is a fairly new endeavor by a few very talented and well experienced individuals. Their farmhouse ale, Sea of Showers is my fave, but there's something for everyone - or at least your craft brew enthusiasts. This is a must stop, when in the Willamette valley. Cheers to your Foreland!

Yelp
Foreland - My experience here was really a choose your own adventure of tasty beers, in a minimal and interestingly laid out outdoor "block party" style yard space. The Beer: my feeling on it is "clean" - the unifying theme is forward flavors that are balanced. I did not try their smoked lager, as I was unknowing and stuck in the IPA vein, but will next time, now that trust has been established. From their offerings, you get the sense that they know what they aiming to provide, and they deliver. As an example , being at Pelican brewing yesterday, the contrast of brewing approach is super apparent. Foreland to me, seems focused in fitting their seamless brews almost like a swath of a specific unifying hues in a painting. They could be, the clean cut and unifying hues of the water in The Sea at Les Saintes. Each it's own color, but representing a bigger picture. They fit well and don't over, or, underwhelm. As a newer establishment, it's a great place to start conversations as the vibe is pretty open, and the outdoor area gives the ability to move around and not feel confined. Foreland fits well with the cast of brewing characters of McMinnville, safely. I look forward to visiting to grab a can to go and sit and enjoy- it's that kinda friendly influx vibe. Wear a mask though, I got called on that, but fully understand policy and their guy was very respectful in that ask, provided the mask too. In and out, fun. My recommendation at a marketer- Music, something more than just the "brew chill" playlist that Raised by Wolves catalyzes every weekend with Johnathan Wilson and friends letting the Sonos lull the atmosphere towards indifference. It would be great to see someone take a chance to develop attention toward waiting for a next song, instead of wondering when the Spotify is going to reconnect to the Sonos to play Khruangbin effortlessly. Not like there is a thing wrong with Khruangbin, or 80s, or 90's, or sitting listen to those manicured for the sitting masses playlists. But if my future is to only hear Stevie Nicks dip into landslide while sipping beer forever...I will resist that narrative. Interesting and forward thinking music would set this atmosphere apart, and definitely make me show up more:) cheers!

Yelp
Nice misters and fans to keep you cool while you enjoy the good brews. I had a lovely German Pils. And I learned about Crowlers! Yes, they are a thing. Beer from the tap you choose can be sealed in a can (Crowler) for taking home if it is not already available in cans..

Yelp
I love checking out new breweries and this one did not disappoint! The Pilsner was absolutely amazing! The patio was beautiful and spacious. Perfect for enjoying a cold beer on a sunny fall afternoon. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. They have two food trucks on site, I didn't get a chance to try them but they smelled good!

Yelp
Fantastic beer tucked away from the chaos that is 3rd street. Ryan and Soren were awesome hosts and the overall vibe was incredible.
