"Opened in McMinnville in 2020, I describe Foreland as a focused brewery co-founded by Sean Burke and David Sanguinetti that specializes in hop-forward beers, mixed-culture beers, and lagers; Burke plans to experiment with wine grapes and eventually make wine, reflecting the brewery’s location in the heart of Oregon’s hop country and its connection to local wine. They’ve already released two IPAs, a Vienna lager, and a pilsner in 16-ounce cans, and their Form Follows IPA is currently brewed with Pacific Northwest-developed Citra and Chinook hops. Instead of opening a taproom during the pandemic, they sold cans in stores, partnering with Corvallis’ Block 15 for distribution, and plan to open the space to visitors later (not as a brewpub but with food trucks, including talks to bring a tacos al pastor truck)." - Ron Scott
