Forest & Main Fishtown - Review - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"What happens when an Ambler, PA brewery teams up with the chef behind Gass & Main in Haddonfield, NJ? You get thisFishtownspot serving french bread pizza, a pork roll hoagie, and a drink menu full of saisons, lagers, and pale ales. It’s located in the former Cheu location, which means it offers both indoor dining and an outdoor patio." - Candis R. McLean

Overall one of the best brewery experiences I have had, and I would happily come back here any time. The food was great and people kept ordering menu items that looked delicious. The beer was also excellent, with a u pique and varied list of offerings and a coool draught system with several cask ales and lukr lines for lagers. A great spot, I cannot wait to come back! Edited 19Oct25 - the onion rings were amazing, and the manager Landers is so kind and helpful! We loved our visits!

It's Forest and Main, alright. Full beer list of Pilsner, IPA, Bitter. Stout. Pale ale. Just everything. Don't have what you want? Ask Mike L, manager, and he'll make it happen. Sat at the bar in front of the kitchen. When food wasn't being turned out the areas was being cleaned and scrubbed. Food was so good. The giant pretzel is giant. No, bigger than that. Feed 3-4. Fries are great. Staff are just phenomenal . Bathroom is singular, but clean and stocked. Excited to see what may happen with the cocktail list 👀

Great new addition to the neighborhood! Has a good selection of sandwiches and snacks. Beer is awesome, and has some wine, cider, cocktail, and NA choices as well.

Can’t say enough good things. The location is perfect. They took over an existing building and made it their own. Staff was great as to be expected. Decor/cocktails/beer/service/food. They are checking all the boxes. Large selection of stuff to go as well. Get a hand pulled pint and some food and then take way more than you need home. You won’t regret it!

Stopped by on opening day. Amazing addition to the neighborhood. Can’t wait to go back and try the food. The beers are the best in the neighborhood and the cocktail / spirits program is headed up by one of the best modern minds in the biz. Highly recommend

I was glad to see this gem of a location having a good, non-corporate chain in it. Forest & Main does a great job filling a void , at least partially, that our beloved Martha Bar once occupied. The relaxed hang out is super comfortable and the service is friendly. Im especially happy with the beer and cocktails. I was pleasantly surprised to fine one helluva burger on the menu! THE FOOD; it's so good.

I've been here twice in 3 days. I love this place. The vibe, the people, the food (SO good), the beer (some of my favorite I've had in philly tbh), I love this place. The bartenders are so chill and fun to talk to. This is going to be my new spot

Great new spot in Fishtown, some of the best beer around. The Saisons and West Coasts are especially great. Mike is awesome - very knowledgeable about drinks and all different types of beer. Check it out!
