Canadian Rockies Dining Guide to the Food & Drink Scene | Eater

"A stylish, nature-inspired boutique hotel in a national-park town with contemporary outdoor-themed design, an on-site spa and hot tub, and two restaurants that showcase Rocky Mountain cuisine: a grand dining room with a wood fireplace for hearty breakfasts and a lounge serving elevated comfort dishes such as salmon-and-leek fishcakes, mac and cheese with Alberta Gouda, and butcher boards for evening dining." - Zoe Baillargeon

My husband and I stayed at Forest Park for two nights during our trip last month, and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff was welcoming and quick to answer our questions about local attractions. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable king-sized bed and a nice view of the downtown. The bathroom was nice too, though the water pressure in the shower was a bit weak, which was a minor inconvenience. The location was a highlight, just a short walk from almost everything, which made exploring easy. However, the Wi-Fi was spotty at times, especially in the evenings, which was frustrating when trying to plan our next day but overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning, especially for the great location and friendly staff. I'd recommend this hotel 100%.

I highly recommend this place, especially if you're a traveler to St. Louis. The rooms are really nice, clean, and spacious. The staff is helpful. I accidentally locked myself out of my room with the lock unhinged and caught between the wall and the door frame! The guy on shift that morning was a complete rockstar at unswaggling that mishap! I didnt have my swimsuit but I'll have to pay a visit sometime next year for a swim because the pool is very clean, private, and set up a bit like an oasis. The price is actually good for what you get, just make your reservations in advance.

Was an Holiday Inn previously. Rooms were good and spacious. Had a handicap room which allowed ease of use and large enough for wheelchair to move into shower. The staff were great. Was a busy weekend with multiple groups at the hotel. The staff was superb in handling the crowds and keeping up with cleaning throughout the day. Due handicap we asked for a room to assist. Although not ready, the manager moved us to one and had the staff clean and makeup for us and we were a little early so they really went beyond to accommodate us. The location is convenient to I44 and I64. Restaurants close by (The Hill and it fine Italian food and shops) as well gas stations and fast food restaurants. Only issue was with the sliding glass door. Lock was broken and was very hard to open and close. So a little maintenance may be in order (although it did have a locking bar). Very satisfied with overall stay and the staff and would have no issue staying again.

First of all, I got tricked booking here for believing it’s a holiday inn express. Clearly they have no idea how to run a hotel after the license expired. I had to beg for cleaning my room, even only for taking out trash and replace new towels. I believe the front desk girl wasn’t acting when she said ‘I’ll make sure they clean your room. ‘ but nothing happened, I lived in a dumpster for a week and I had no option since this is prepaid by company. That’s it, I’m glad I still love the parks here in St. Louis, this is a beautiful place. I’m not coming back to this hotel anyways but I think people should know.

I booked a two-night stay and was given room 110. When I return to my room after work on the second day my room card no longer worked and my food in the refrigerator had been removed by housekeeping. The hotel staff insisted that I had been checked into room 401. INCORRECT! Also, someone knocked on my door in the middle of the night apparently thinking 110 was unoccupied. I was told that because I booked my room on Expedia that I could not be given a refund. Beware of this place. The staff is unprofessional and jeopardize my safety

If you look at the bottom of this hotel's website, you will see that it was made by a guy on Fiverr, which probably explains why the reservation system on the website doesn't actually communicate with the hotel's front desk. If you reserve a room on the website, it will give you a price and you will receive a confirmation email assuring you that your room has been reserved. It hasn't been. The website is also has obvious AI generated text, which honestly almost makes it seem like a slapped-together phishing site. If you want to book online, you need to use Expedia or some other third party travel website. I would recommend calling. Our confirmation number from the website was #874 so I assume almost 900 people have had to go through this same nonsense before me. I will give a lot of credit to the employee at the front desk. When we were trying to sort this out, their room rate was $50 more than we agreed to on the website but he honored the lower price that the website originally gave us. As for our room, the sink drain was missing the pop-up stopper. Dresser was missing a knob, balcony door barely operated, toilet was installed very crooked, and there was a bunch of hair stuck to the bathroom ceiling with static electricity. Bathroom door and walls were grimey and needed scrubbing. Beds seemed clean enough for a hotel. We won't stay here again.

Disgusting hotel. The manager was rude, I paid for late check out just to have to the front desk guy barge my in room (who did the late check in transaction) claiming he forgot. Don’t stay here I suggest Red Roof Inn Plus if you just a need somewhere to lay your head for a night or two they’re cleaner and A LOT more pleasant

It was a fantastic find for our budget trip. For the price, we were blown away by how clean and comfortable everything was. The room was simple but had everything that we needed like comfy beds, a nice clean bathroom, good view, etc. The receptionist was pretty kind and helpful, always ready with a smile.
