Loved the farm to table experience @ F&P
FOOD> I gobbled up the burger made with ground beef, sautéed shiitake mushrooms, Swiss cheese, mustard aioli, and arugula. 🍔 and house made fries. The burger was cooked medium well and melted in my mouth. I literally couldn't put it down. The fries were so good that each last one was consumed! My one thought 🤔 for next time is to perhaps order them without salt to fully enjoy their flavor.
The sweet tea was like a drop of golden summer sunshine 🌞
SERVICE> The sweetest Gal took care of us and she tended to our every need and made sure the lunch experience was unforgettable.
This is an understated elegant service style with seamless and effortless attention to detail for the unforgettable dining experience. Sort of like going to a real Southernern's home for a meal - you always feel truly taken cared of and want to return soon for more of the goodness 😊
ATMOSPHERE> While at first blush it can feel intimidating with the large room, the moment you are seated everyone else melts away and you either cozy up on the side porch, the welcoming bar, or the main dining area which is flanked by the deli cases with meat 🍖, dairy 🧈, and produce, and some MOUTHWATERING pastries and baked goods.
LOCATION> They are centrally located midtown Greenville on East North right near the Bob Jones area of town just minutes from downtown. You can easily get to this restaurant from 385 take the Stone Avenue exit or from Pleasantburg/Pelham Road turn towards town and it's on the right.
I told the lil Gal next time I go I will probably need a plough or a bill wheelbarrow to take me home.
Enjoy!
