Top-Tier Delivery Restaurant Pop-Ups to Try in Barcelona - Eater
"Drizzle the brand’s peanut sauce on some of the fresh vegetables you couldn’t resist in Santa Caterina Market, or schmear some on slices of freshly baked pa de pagès from Mistral bakery." - Chris Ciolli
Barcelona’s Best Traditional Catalan Baked Treats and Where to Find Them | Eater
"A source for classic pa de pagès, the crusty, sourdough-style 'farmer’s bread' with a dense but moist crumb ideal for pa amb tomàquet; buyers are advised to purchase intact 500 g or 1 kg loaves and ask the baker to slice them rather than buying pre-sliced versions that stale faster." - Chris Ciolli
The greatest ensaymada crema cuita! Ordered 6-7 pastries and two coffees for around €12. Amazing authentic local pastries for cheap. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Very delicious and freshly made panellets – our favourite is the one of pine nuts but the pistachio and coconut ones were also really good. Not too sweet.
Queue can be long but grab a numbered ticket inside the store and be served when your number is called.
They also sell a variety of bread and pastries.

Hauled an authentic European bakery haul for morning grub, super yummy knockout crossaint and a pizza slab for reasonable far, honest and down to earth grub, this was dope.

We had some great ENSAIMADA CREMA CUITA for €2.05 (a pastry with cream) and TORTEN DE MASSAPA for €2.25 (a sugar bun with marzipan inside.) If you go upstairs, there's a cute terrace with seating.

You can glance at the displayed wares outside, grab a ticket, queue up and salivate until your turn at the counter comes. Delicious Catalan bread and pastries.

Yelp
Although it was busy when we arrived, we were helped right away. The employees were friendly, but the hand written pricing was a little bit difficult to see within the display case. The ensaimada was wonderful. The pumpkin inside was light and not too sweet. The outer pastry was so soft with a generous amount of powdered sugar. I couldn't stop eating this.

Yelp
The bread looks absolutely amazing. Sandwiches are extremely tasty. Their specialities of Coca de forner, Ensaimades de crema, and Ensaimades petites are not to be missed!

Yelp
Perfect bakery just down the street from the Plaza Catalunya. Bread and croissants were amazing and they seem to have invented croissant minis. WTH?

Yelp
Best chocolate croissant I've had outside France. Nice airy-but-crunchy crust, plentiful and moist chocolate filling. Mmm. Ate these daily during our stay. Yes I need to go workout now.
Also stopped in here daily for lunch stuff including sandwich rolls, olive bread, cheese rolls. Always friendly service -- tolerant of us tourists but answering generally in simple Spanish.

Yelp
After a long afternoon biking in Barcelonetta, this place is just perfect to relax with a good coffee. It's calm and cosy

Yelp
Really enjoyed the cream croissants and chocolate croissants. They are a very special treat. Plus the girls behind the counter are very nice and will speak English to you if you need it. Names are marked but prices are not. Still, it is a very approachable place for tourists.
