Google
Excellent. Old school Pho with a flavor that one could think it was on simmer for days.

John Holeton

Google
Great place, Pho has a natural flavor of a long term simmer, Old School. Can’t wait to try Bahn MI.

Fortune does not get the recognition it deserves. The beef pho is amazing- by far my favorite in town. Not only is the depth of flavor there, but you get a good sized portion for the money. My husband tries something new each time. This time was the combination Cantonese lo mein. Not what you typically think of when it comes to lo mein, but he said he would get it again! We also got the crab Rangoon and an egg roll. The egg roll was delicious, but the crab Rangoon!? It actually tastes like crab, not just sweetened cream cheese. On top of the delicious food, the restaurant is clean, and the waitress/owner is very hospitable.

My husband grandpa and I love this place for the chicken fried rice and chicken lol mein, it's our Friday spot to eat. Kim is amazing very personable if uve been many times like we have she remembers ur order and she runs the whole show by herself (most times.)

Google
One of the best little secrets in Sioux Falls. Great food, Good prices and the nicest, hardest working lady running the to go orders and tables with a smile and great efficiency.

Shelli Meehan

Google
This was the worst meal I have eaten in a long time. I ordered the family lunch special and even the egg rolls were awful. The gal that took my order was lovely, but the food was horrible.

William Lyons

Google
Disappointing food for the reviews. Ordered Sesame Chicken and fried rice. The Sesame sauce was tasty but thin. Fried rice was dry and mediocre. The big issue was the chicken. 1/3 of the chicken they gave was crumbs and overcooked so bad that it was inedible. Put a real damper on the meal. Portion size was disappointing for the price as well. It looks like more than it actually was.

Google
The food was excellent. The prices were fair. The restaurant was incredibly clean. And we will be back.

Yelp
Meet a new human at Fortune Chinese on Benson & Cliff last night....I did not get photos of everything but I had their delicious Spicy Sour soup, the teriyaki beef kabobs and the hot Chinese tea. My date ordered egg rolls, crab rangoon and the shrimp low mein. His proportions were huge. The atmosphere was quaint, our server was kind and the evening was perfect.

Yelp
I'm a Chinese food junky. I have tried some of the other Chinese restaurants in the local area and so far this one is the best for flavor and ingredients. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and very quaint. Our waitress was very friendly

Yelp
Let me start this off by saying this was my first time and my last time eating here at Fortune Chinese Restaurant in Sioux Falls SD! To show the difference in quality, looks and as you can see by the pics, taste as well. The 2 pics are schezwan shrimp from Fortune Chinese and the other with all the hearty vegetables are from a Chinese restaurant I frequent on the East Coast. I've seen and was told about imitation shrimp and I believe this is what I was served. Honestly I don't know what it was. The food was very disappointing and the (shrimp) had a doughy texture and didn't have the snap that I'm used to feeling when I bite into shrimp. Not only that the curling shape that cooked shrimp take on was not present. Needless to say I discarded the meal, didn't call for a refund or try to bring it back because by the time I was ready to eat I was a couple hundred miles away and it wouldn't make sense turning around. If I dined in I would've asked for a refund right there and left. Lesson learned, don't do take out and try new establishments at the same time! Worst experience I've had eating Chinese food. Zero star rating.

Yelp
My go to Chinese restaurant in Sioux Falls. The Spicy Sour Soup is hands down the best in town. The lunch menu is a great value. Service and food quality is great no matter the time of day.

Yelp
I ended up here one day when I was really hungry. The restaurant next door was my destination, but they were closed. I shrugged and said "well, I can do Chinese." I am so happy I opened that door. It's a small space, small staff, but amazing food. I'm an egg fu young fan and their shrimp egg fu blew me away. I'm used it to being a soggy lump - I've never known it any differently. This was a masterpiece of eggs, veggies and shrimp that was crunch in all the right places. It was so fresh and so good. I've been back twice more to show friends how good it is. I'll never eat the soggy lump again. Like most places these days, they're short-staffed, but it's worth the wait.

Yelp
On the road across the country-- feeling weary of diners and burgers. Found this Chinese place just off I-90. PERFECT STOP. Nice space in a quiet strip mall-- clean with nice booths and decor. Staff was lovely-- lunch and dinner menu with Pho options. Food came out quickly-- fresh and delicious. Back on the road with full tummies in 30 minutes! We enjoyed the crab Rangoons, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken and beef lo mein. They gave us a fried rice for the table.

Yelp
I REALLY like Fortune Chinese Restaurant on Benson Rd & Cliff Ave. Besides their really good, classic Chinese, but they've added Pho Soup which is super. I've had the combination Pho only. Their fried egg rolls are the large type instead of the mini, which is what I grew up on at the previous Canton Cafe that was on 12th St forever. Their Egg Foo Yung is what started me returning, it's the standard I use to compare others against. And the surroundings are excellent, besides absolutely clean, really great service, it's a really nice Chinese type decor. I highly recommend Fortune.

Yelp
Best chinese delivery Ive ever had! The crab rangoon was delicious and HUGE! I also had combination fried rice. Large pieces of meat and shrimp all cooked perfectly! Nothing was tough or chewy. Will def be ordering here again!!

Yelp
One thing about Chinese restaurants is, the menus are basically the same. You can order chicken and broccoli, and you will get chicken and broccoli! Well, I typically order Happy Family when I visit a Chinese restaurant. Today was no exception. What I was served was, how shall I say, different? I couldn't tell the difference between the shrimp, chicken or beef. I think it was breaded, but I was afraid to eat it. I ate the veggies and the rice and left. Worst ever!

Yelp
First time visiting and was delighted with the menu. Large variety of Asian dishes. Especially liked the fresh spring rolls and bbq pork appetizers. The sweet and sour chicken and fried rice were fine, just not outstanding like the combination lo mein. Service was okay but keep in mind good food takes time. All in all highly recommended

Yelp
They dont deliver outside of a five mile radius:( Staying in a hotel, five miles away and they said it was too far!

Yelp
This place was very clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. However, overall I found the food pretty flavorless. This may sound harsh, but each dish was ultimately just a sloppy plate that was barely recognizable from the others. I may just be used to better quality Chinese food, but I think the only reason this place has good reviews is because it seems to be one of the only Chinese food places around Sioux Falls. I will say that the soup we ordered was delicious!

Yelp
There are a lot of places in Sioux Falls where you can have Chinese food but if you want it hot and freshly cooked, (not kept under a warming light) Fortune is the place to go! The staff are very friendly, the prices are great and the food is even better.

Yelp
Was good Chinese food. The people are very nice. The place is clean. I like the sweet the sweet and sour chicken

Yelp
Best Chinese food I have found in Sioux Falls. The hot and sour soup is my favorite. This is not the same old off the truck Chinese that everyone else is serving.

Tyler K.

Yelp
Their hot and sour soup was not good at all. The beef lo mein was like everyone one else's. I actually left most of my szechaun chicken. If you want Chinese it'll do but don't go out of your way.

Jeremy N D.

Yelp
What a gem. Fresh, flavorful food. Large portions and friendly service. The house special crispy beef is not to be missed.

Yelp
Over cooked chicken, way to much sauce to cover up the terrible taste. The lo main ended up being soggy fettuccine with no vegetables mixed in. I'm a large man and didn't get that way by being picky about my food, so believe me when I say this food is one grade below a TV dinner.

Yelp
Having been fairly disappointed with the restaurants in the North side of town, Fortune turned out to be a gem in the rough. The restaurant is very clean (as are the bathrooms) and the food is the best I have had in Sioux Falls so far. I would highly recommend for lunch.

Kelli W.

Yelp
I was looking for some good crab rangoon in town and I found it!! I called them up and by the time I drove over there and found the place they had it ready. I got and entree with rice and an order of crab rangoon which came to about $13. Restaurant is very new and looks nice inside, next time I'll have to try eatting in.

Yelp
I am so disappointed in the food from Fortune. I put an order in for Imperial Shrimp lo-mien, Imperial Combination lo-mien and Pot stickers. The order was delivered to work in a timely fashion but when we opened the food it smelled awful. The texture of the noodles were gummy and hard to stomach because of the flavor or gravy paste with fried egg in it. The meal also came with what should have been fried rice but in fact tasted more like old rice with a small amount of soy sauce in it. The pot stickers were the only saving part of the meal that cost $31 for lunch portions. Worst meal ever. Spoke to several other people who have order from them once and will not do it again. This was so bad, I will give it a 1 star because of the delivery service.

Yelp
Searching for good (NY quality!) Chinese food can be daunting - but the search ends here. This is the best Chinese in Sioux Falls (and we have tried all of them). Great service, and truly reasonable prices for everything you get. Try it and you'll be tempted to write your own five-star review!

Tyler E.

Yelp
I order from here frequently and each time I'm super satisfied with the prompt service, the more than fair pricing, and the equally generous portions. Definitely a recommended stop for lunch. Oh a little hint; if you place an order for carry out they will have it ready in 10 minutes almost every time.
