Forum At Meadowood - Review - St. Helena - St. Helena - The Infatuation

"A yearly membership to Meadwood Club starts at five figures, but their rustic-chic restaurant, Forum, is open to anyone who appreciates seasonal California cooking done exceptionally well. With multiple menus spanning breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch—complete with a traveling bar cart—the kitchen delivers food that’s anything but bland. Dishes as simple as an autumn chicken are subtly spiced with guajillo jus and paired with the most decadent black bean puree you may ever encounter. There are whispers of pasilla peppers in the butter for the Dungeness crab spaghettini, and the elotes with ancho-lime whipped butter and green pepita-cilantro sauce will have you resisting the urge to lick your fingers. Since there are several onsite courts and a spa nearby, this place is a favorite among celebrities and tennis enthusiasts in the tech crowd." - Jasmine Alexandra

Great indoor or patio dining nestled within Meadowood. Professional staff with excellent service. Brunch menu items come is smaller than average portions but delicious. Their beignets were close to if not better than ones from NOLA!

We loved our brunch at The Forum! We had a reservation for 10 people, the service was great, the atmosphere is beautiful and the food was delicious. The chicken & waffles, churros and vanilla latte were the standouts but everyone loves what they got. The ingredients were so fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend!

One of the best culinary experiences in Napa Valley. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service and ambiance were truly outstanding. Highly recommended.

We only ate breakfast here while staying at the hotel but the service was fast and friendly and the restaurant is absolutely lovely. The indoor dining is in a glass encased room letting in tons of natural light and there is a large patio seating area which we took full advantage of in the wonderful cool morning weather. During our stay we sampled the G3 green juice, Meadowood Granola, Eggs & Avocado Toast, Egg White Scramble, Spinach Feta Scone & Model Bakery English Muffin. We enjoyed everything we ate but special shoutout to the English muffin which was absolutely incredible and a must try!

Nice late lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Cocktails are great and loved the chicken soup and the presentation. Nice atmosphere while the storm passed outside. Diffidently going back.

The Forum is our favorite restaurant for the delicious well prepared food and the excellent service by staff. We regularly drive over 2 hours just to have lunch at this fine dining place at reasonable price that is also good for toddlers. Thank you for accommodating our many requests. Birthday celebrations are also given the utmost care and attention to make it the most special moment. It's a beautiful fine dining place without the high price or formality. The kids menu is delicious, nutritious, and generous.

Visited here for brunch with family. Ordered several items from brunch menu like beets salad, flat bread, veg tacos, queso and French fries. Food was very tasty. Service was excellent. Restaurant has nice ambience. Great place for dining.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with really tasty food! Not pictured is the burger because we devoured it! So good. We stopped here after wine tasting at a nearby winery and it was a great choice. I think brunch is the most popular here but lunch was great too. Food: 4.5 Service: 4 Ambiance: 5 Marcels foodie score: 4.5

Yelp
*Would only go back for wine & outdoor lounge space... not for the food. Pros: Wine selection was great! Ambiance was wonderful! Service was good, albeit slower. Outdoor space looks amazing & is pup-friendly. Cons: If you're hungry, eat before you go. Bring snacks for in-between courses. You might have to stop off to grab food on the way home. Thankful they kept bringing the yummy bread! Lacked course timing, underseasoned, pricey. $550 later, yet we left underwhelmed & unfulfilled. Our meal took over 3.5 hours... (details below)... there's a fine line between building anticipation/ "hunger sauce" & causing anxiety/ frustration. **Napa Restaurant Month** If you wanted a steak (ie. the "NY strip" offered as part of their limited-time prix fixe menu), this is probably not what you're looking for. Gray, gray, gray... no matter your temp preference, medium? Gray... Medium rare? Gray... Rare? Gray. Perhaps the sous vide method with added grill marks, but they should tell customers that since most folks are expecting a steak-like steak. Oh, and it's actually just 3 slices OF A steak (questionable if truly NY cut), barely room temperature, but tasted okay (needed a dash of seasoning). Our meal took 3.5 hours... mostly because the kitchen "timed" the courses 30+ minutes apart. Maybe they were going for dramatic effect, but there's a fine line between "hunger sauce" & frustration. None of the courses were so complicated to justify the wait AND the place was nearly empty. Our wine pairings were poured 10-15 minutes before each course, so we sat there trying not to drink the wine because we wanted to taste it WITH our food. We had a nice time with friends, but the timing was a bit strange. The food: Course 1 - Hamachi was really good! 3 slices with jalapeño crema, radish, cilantro, lime vinaigrette. Course 2 - Chicken tortilla soup. 4 spoonfuls of luke warm tomato soup poured over a few cubed morsels. This had the flavor of spaghettiOs. When I said it out loud to our table, everyone laughed & agreed... it was the taste they were all trying to peg. Course 3 - NY strip. 3 slices of almost-warm, gray meat with 3 potato slices, 2 carrot halves, sautéed Swiss chard, chimichurri. Veggies were tasty. Course 4 - (they ran out) so we got something from their regular menu. The sesame citrus gâteau was not my favorite. The cheesecake was so bitter, I took 2 bites & could not eat anymore. We also ordered for the table: -- Elotes (not very good, still on the cob,not worth the effort); -- Brussels sprouts (fresh, but undercooked & underseasoned); -- Mushrooms (naturally flavorful, but unseasoned); -- Their complimentary bread plate & olive oil was Yum!!

Yelp
Made a reservation for lunch with friends. A birthday double date and it was lovely from start to finish. Ambiance Quiet greenhouse vibes forest bathing on the patio on a lovely fall day. The weather made the outside nice but I prefer sitting inside - comfy clean and beautiful bar. It is just a tent fyi. Kinda like a functioning trailer after the fire but they made it nice. Food We tried a lot and everything was good. The empanadas had really nice flavors but were so small so it was a little two bite treat like you'd get at a wedding or party. The ahi poke was delicious wish I had one more chip - my ratio must be off. The apple flatbread was a crowd favorite because of the large pieces of fried prosciutto. Two burgers with truffle fries. The beet salad add grilled shrimp was tasty and a beautiful presentation. Last entree was the pastor tacos (3) and they were gone quickly. We tried the pumpkin mousse dessert, the caramel mousse one and received a chocolate dessert since we had a birthday boy! Nice cappuccino too. My wife enjoyed a couple glasses of the Phillipponat Royal Reserve champagne Our server was so friendly and kind and made great suggestions but it wasn't like fine dining how it used to be at all. I'd like to see a return of a more elevated menu but maybe people are into casual more now.

Yelp
**Brunch review: 11.15.2025** My girls and I came here yesterday (thankfully it wasn't raining) and we were able to sit outside for some much-needed fresh air. It was a bit chilly, but the inside sitting was a bit crowded with people already, and I wanted to be able to chat with my friends w/o everyone hearing our stories. Location: really pay attention to your GPS! We missed it the first time, and we were able to finally make a U-turn in a private driveway w/o any incident. The ambiance of the restaurant was very clean, airy, and modern with a chic mountain vibe. Staff were friendly and prompt with everything that we needed... Our server was Bernardo, and he was very accommodating and kept checking in on us with moderation. We ordered Cinnamon Sugar Beignets as a starter (but it really should be a dessert!) It was warm, airy, and it goes better with chocolate and the dulce de leche. The berry compote was a bit too chunky and tart... perhaps that's why I didn't really like it much, but it was perfect to share for 3, for a bigger group, perhaps 2 orders will suffice, but will order it for dessert next time out. We also all ordered an orange mimosa - why not, right? For my entree, I ordered the steak and eggs... with the chimichurri on the side. The steak I ordered was medium, and it was done correctly... I didn't fully finish my food b/c I think I just got full from the beignets. Food was a lot tastier than our time out at Harvest Inn which I still need to review...  My other friends ordered the butternut squash ravioli, which I had, and it was good, just a bit too filling. My other friend ordered the two eggs as you wish, and she too liked it and almost finished. Since our tasting wasn't until 2 pm, we had about an hour to spare, so we asked our server if they could make us an espresso martini - to which he replied and said that they could with fresh espresso, not liquor. We again ordered 3 b/c why not... overall - plus 20% tip... under $100 for 3 with all of our entrees and drinks combined. It's decent for Napa pricing plus with the economy... Overall, will definitely visit with the other missing girls next time out. I think it would be pretty in the summer with their couches. To the management, your staff during our visit were all friendly, and we were very grateful for that. PS: Their glasses for the mimosa and the espresso martinis were all plastic. Not sure if it was b/c we were outside, but I think it would have been nicer if it were real glassware.

Yelp
We came here once for brunch and it was fantastic. Everything was fresh and the ambience was relaxing. We also came for their special limited Christmas dinner, which was a three course dinner along with dessert. Now, the service team and host fantastic. The place is relaxing and not crowded. You can have a conversation. The scouts were refresh. The soup was delicious and the steak is perfect. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Napa and enjoy dinner this is the place.

Yelp
Not that it applies to me but quiet luxury for the win. That's Meadowood. Because loud luxury with all the bling bling can be a sensory overload. Meadowood is a secluded 250-acre resort with sprawling views of the hills, golf course, vineyards, and trails. And, they have an award-winning spa. If you're down to spend $1-1.5k a night for a special occasion, it's may be worth the splurge. You just may even get lucky. ;) BUT if not, don't sleep on visiting the Forum at Meadowood for brunch. While The Restaurant at Meadowood remains closed due to the fire, Forum at Meadowood is the resort's central restaurant (open to the public). They opened in October 2022 and offer indoor dining and outdoor patio dining. Kindly note that the outdoor seating allows well-behaved dogs (but call to confirm in case things change). If you want to stay at the resort, only service dogs are allowed. The executive chef is a 35-year (!) Meadowood employee that started as a dishwasher and rose the ranks. We made rezzies for their outdoor patio which was the right move. Even on a quiet Thursday, the patio seats seemed to be preferred by guests over the indoor dining area. M E N U New American Cuisine w/ a Mexican bent. Seasonally driven menu w/ ingredients sourced from their 5-acre farm. Golden Hour (HH Specials): Every day from 3 pm - 6 pm. Ex: $12-$14 cocktails, a steal for a $$$$$ resort! Full bar. NO corkage fee for your first two bottles; $35/bottle thereafter. D R I N K S * Complimentary still or sparkling water * Freshly squeezed OJ ($10 x2) F O O D * Cochinita Pibil Benedict: Yucatán braised pork, pickled red onions, charred jalapeño hollandaise, model bakery english muffin, breakfast potatoes ($32): https://tinyurl.com/y28vcfpn - Requested soft poached eggs (default: medium) With the chef's Michoacán roots, I had to order one of their Mexican fusion brunch dishes. When cutting into the perfectly poached eggs, liquid gold oozed out like lava blanketing the moist and juicy, citrus-kissed cochinita pibil and soaking into the crannies of the toasted fluffy soft english muffin. Deliciously rich and savory with the tangy pickled onions balancing the creamy hollandaise. The muffins' exterior stayed crisp until the last bite. Served with a side of griddled, well-seasoned fingerling potatoes. * Corned Beef Hash w/ caramelized onions, potato, cherry tomato, chipotle barbecue, eggs, toast ($28): https://tinyurl.com/8jajfum7 - Requested scrambled eggs - Sub toast for model bakery english muffin (+$3) Not my order but I tried a bite. Ok, three bites and it hit the spot. The corned beef was beefy and flavorful (not salty). The crispy edges paired with the soft, loose curds and sweet, caramelized onions were pretty bomb. Served with a side of chipotle bbq sauce (didn't try). The toasted english muffin is served with silky housemade butter and housemade jam (didn't try). * Bacon (Side - $9) Five slices of crispy, savory bacon (not overly salty or processed tasting). * Sausage (Side-$9) Four long links, the sausage was well-spiced and juicy with a nice snappy texture. S E R V I C E Everado was our main server who was super kind and gracious. Even offered water to TT. Prompt food service. A M B I A N C E Quaint, green house vibes with ample seating inside and outside for 100+ and trendy bar area. P A R K I N G Complimentary self-parking. No valet since The Restaurant at Meadowood closed. Overall, as a non-breakfast/brunch person, I really enjoyed our meal at Forum at Meadowood and the serene atmosphere. They know how to showcase great local ingredients in an elevated but approachable way. Everything (food-wise) kinda went downhill afterwards at other restos but that's for another review!

Yelp
Lovely restaurant inside the Meadowood resort. Reservations were easy to make online and you don't have to be a guest to dine there. When we arrived for lunch on Sunday, it had a quiet, serene and peaceful vibe. There were plenty of shaded dining tables outside in the patio, but we opted to eat inside. The inside has floor-to-ceiling windows throughout so the sunlight streaming in was amazing. The menu offerings weren't super creative, but had solid options like truffle gnocchi, eggs benedict, pastries etc. The price point was what I expected for Napa. I got the rock cod tacos. I found a short hair in my tacos, but they rectified that immediately with a new dish. The banquette seating was beautiful from afar but I noticed it had quite a bit of crumbs and dried food stains from previous diners. It would benefit from a deep cleaning once a month. The restrooms in the back were large, clean and well stocked though. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a pleasant meal. With some minor adjustments, it would be a five star experience next time.

Yelp
Very cute restaurant, bright and lofty with a cute outdoor area. It was a beautiful day in Napa Valley and was disappointed that we were forced to sit inside when we reserved for patio seating. Due to bees is what they said. We reluctantly stayed and ordered chicken and waffles and pancakes. Food: chicken was very moist but batter could use more spices/salt/flavor. Pancakes were also yummy. No syrup served with it and only whip cream and fruits. If you like it sweeter ask for syrup. Service was helpful and efficient. You don't have to be a hotel guest to eat there but is def hotel pricing on the food.

Yelp
3.5 stars Got the steak and the risotto with scallop as entrees. The steak was tasty and served medium rare as requested. The risotto was way too salty so it was a bit of a let down. The scallops were cooked well though. The breakfast was better. Got the pulled pork Benedict. It was a hefty portion and served with the famous model n English muffins.

Yelp
Beautiful and quiet location, Phenomenal service, the food was amazing. So many items to choose from! We really enjoyed our girls brunch there.

Yelp
Food and service were exceptional. Unfortunately we were here a day it rained 6" , so the weather could have been improved. Nevertheless, everything we ordered off the menu was delicious. I ordered the duck confit and was very pleased -- it was outstanding. It's a beautiful restaurant in a stunning setting. Highly recommended for a pleasurable dining experience.

Yelp
This place is delicious. Service is outstanding and so is the food. I had the Cochinita Pibil Benedict - Yucatán braised pork, pickled red onions, charred jalapeño hollandaise, on a Model Bakery English Muffin with breakfast potatoes. Every bite was so good. I also paired it with a Vanilla Latte - just amazing. My guest had the Spring Omelette filled with bacon, asparagus, onions, tomatoes, fava beans, and Feta cheese. I had a couple bites and that was great too. If you're staying at Meadowood, then this is a must.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem! This restaurant at Meadowood is in a beautiful location. You don't need to stay at the hotel to eat here and parking is free. The restaurant itself is in a brightly lit glass building and has a cozy interior. We came for our anniversary trip and were greeted promptly by staff. Julio, our amazing server, brought a splash of champagne when he heard we were celebrating. He was friendly and helpful. The service was excellent. We ordered grilled artichokes to start, the fish sandwich and fish tacos. Everything was delicious but highly recommend the fish tocos which were crispy and mouthwatering. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Yelp
Just had breakfast here! I ordered the olive oil pancakes, basic eggs + bacon breakfast, and a Berry Bae pressed juice - I would have to say it was good overall. I wish there was more flavor in the eggs and bacon breakfast place with a bigger side of potatoes, but that is my preference. The pancakes and juice were good and the 'off and away in a forest vibe' is always very nice. The servers were very sweet and checked in quite often - definitely appreciated this!

Yelp
Came here for Napa Restaurant Month tasting menu. Want to start off by saying service was good. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived at 6:00 pm and by the time we had dessert served to us, it was past 9:00 pm. I wasn't sure why everything took so long. First course was hamachi with onion/radish salad, this was really good, 4 out of 5 stars for me. It went downhill after the first course. Next the Chicken tortilla soup was served cooler than room temp and had flavor like it came out of a can. It was flat to me and lacked seasoning. 2 out of 5 stars for the soup. Next came NY strip and this was 2 out of 5 as well. We questioned if it was even the correct cut of meat. They give you 3 little pieces and it looked like it was boiled, then seared on a George Foreman grill. The sear was light and there was hardly any char on the steak. It was also served cooler than room temp. Last was dessert they ran out of so I ordered the brownie with ice cream off of the regular menu. The dessert was just ok. Don't see the value in this place and would not go back.

Yelp
So disappointing. Though the service was excellent, not much else was anything we would rave about. We started with the octopus appetizer and the gnocchi appetizer. both were cooked quite well, the sauces that accompanied them were pretty awful. For entrees we had the red snapper and the chicken, again the chicken and red snapper themselves were prepared well and fresh, but the sauces were just horrible. Extremely salty and not a good taste nor was it particularly Pleasant to look at. We were quite disappointed with this meal and don't know if we'll give them another chance I tend to doubt it

Yelp
Beautiful location. Loved the airy and bright feel in the restaurant, with views of the hills. Service was excellent even though we went at an off time. All our food was perfect and they had an excellent wine selection. Will definitely go back.

Yelp
Food was fresh and well prepared, Service is second to none the staff are very friendly and inviting. The ambiance is delightful with some mild blues playing makes it so relaxing and you just feel cool.

Yelp
Simply wonderful. The Forum is a small intimate restaurant located inside Meadowood. This place gets lost compare to the other open restaurants in the area, and more catered towards hotel guest. Still it's a short five minute drive from the main road up to the Forum. The coffee are not the star here, but their brunch. The English Muffin (from Model Bakery) and their Croissant with butter and fresh jam is a perfect start to the meal. The Pork Belly Risotto was cooked perfectly; something different but I would've love to see the Forum use scallops or lobster. The filet with hash brown and eggs was just the right portion. Steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the thinly shaved potato was fried crispy. The service was very good and plenty of wait staff to tend to your needs. A definite place to try if you're in the area.

Yelp
Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 This restaurant is nestled in a resort property and even though we weren't hotel guests, they accommodated us with such delight. We had their brunch and it was the best we've had, ordering the holiday latkes which were a treat and mains! The mains were a lobster roll, rock cod fish tacos, corned beef hash and chicken & waffles. Everything was made to perfection. The lobster roll was flanked by a gently toasted bun. The fried chicken on the chicken & waffles was tender on the inside and perfectly crisped on the outside. My most favorite though was the fish tacos. Easily the best I've ever had.

Yelp
The food was so tasty. The first time I tried the steak, octopus with bean sauce and gnocchi, the steak looks perfectly cooked! The gnocchi was the best that I tried ever! After that I back a thousand times!! For the new menu my favorite is the huitlacoche risotto and the tomato salad! Also the mussels has a perfect balance with the chorizo and the sauce. Chef Jorge doing a great job with the amazing and tasty food! The service is always good!

Yelp
This was our first visit to forum. The service was great .carlos our server did a fantastic job explaining the menu and providing some knowledge about the restaurant. We order this amazing fig infused drink that was delicious. For the table we had some Beignets that were accompany with 3 sauces. For lunch I order the chilaquiles with eggs, chorizo and avocado. The chilaquiles are the real authentic dish. I was impressed, because not a lot of restaurants make them authentic. The overall experience was great . I will definitely come back.

Yelp
Nice getaway from the busy St Helena scene! Love the ambiance, and the service was top notch! Espresso and coffee were great, they gave us refills. We started with churros. Don't expect Mexican churros, this is more like the French pāte ā choux. The center has a mushy texture than the Mexican version. The pancake was complimentary for my frown's birthday. We had the burger which was delicious, the shredded chicken Benedict was great. They gave us extra grilled peppers! My corned beef hash was ok, I think the bbq sauce is overwhelming for this dish. The pea salad is fresh! Peas have a nice crisp! But it is good! Overall, I would recommend and come back here!

Yelp
Every dining experience at the Forum is exceptionally lovely with superbly prepared fresh and high-quality meals and presented elegantly. The staff is professional, attentive, and pays meticulous care to any allergies and special celebrations. It is a special treat each time and well-worth the 2 hour travel from the San Francisco area. Excellent value for a perfect dining experience in a lovely setting. Highly recommended.

Yelp
We celebrated my birthday with breakfast at Forum at Meadowood Napa, and it was such a lovely experience. The staff were incredibly accommodating and even surprised me with a special birthday treat! The food was delicious, and the latte was absolutely perfect. The ambiance was so peaceful and beautiful--it made the morning feel extra special.

Yelp
I grew up hearing how magical this place was from my mom and I finally got to experience a little for myself. At least the Forum for Restaurant Week. We didn't even know what the prix fixed menu would be but we took and gamble expecting nothing but the best and it did not disappoint. Everything from the starter to the dessert was delicious and amazing. The ambience was cozy and felt personable. Hope to come back again someday.

Yelp
Lovely place in the middle of the woods! I loved the ambience and eating outdoors was the perfect setting during our day trip to Napa. Food was beautiful but I wouldn't say it was out of this world - I give food a 3.7 (I wish I could be this specific on Yelp). Service was also good. We went indoors as the evening progressed for a glass of wine where it was cool and air conditioned- beautiful interiors. Would come back one day if coming with a nice group of friends, because it's a quiet but high end restaurant in Napa - and sometimes you need that!

Yelp
We are locals and haven't been to Meadowood since the fire - the menu looked great so we made a reservation and went for brunch today. There were MANY open tables when we arrived but we were seated facing the tennis courts - there were no other 2-top tables set otherwise I would have asked to move. We were seated near the door leading outside where the bathrooms are - so a lot of foot traffic going outside. Someone poured water for us after a few mins but after that - nothing. Lots of servers milling around - so after 10 mins we asked a busser to get a server to order. We were not asked if we had been there before, no info about the menu, specials etc only that the cinnamon roll was not available. We bought a bottle of bubbles and ordered the Huevos Rancheros and Duck Confit Benedict. Got the bottle - and about 3 minutes later - the food arrived. You kind of want a few mins to enjoy your drink before the food but - ok - at least things are moving. The food was very good - the plates could have been a little hotter as the room was chilly and the food got cold quickly. Our server was apparently training someone which was probably the reason for slow service to start. The beignets were over the top awesome. My comments are - if someone takes the time to make a reservation - seat them in a nice place and not your crappiest table, and when you're pouring the water - ask if your guests would like to order a beverage. If we weren't so hungry, we might have walked out and gone to Solage or Brasswood. Oh, the last pic is a dirty plate that was provided with the beignets, it looked like someone had used it as an ashtray and it didn't quite get clean in the washer. I asked for a replacement - but it was pretty obviously dirty when placed on the table...... We have so many great places for brunch, the only thing drawing me back is the beignets and I normally don't eat dessert so.....probably won't return and would not recommend.

Yelp
We really excited to dine here but our experience left more to desired. The interior and grounds were decorated beautifully which made us all the more excited to get seated and try some of their dishes. All the starters we ordered were great. The ceviche tasted fresh and the addition of the peaches/nectarines added a great contrast to the fish. Bringing out the sweetness and brightness of the fish. The soft shell crab was also a delight, the batter wasn't too heavier and the bed of carrots made for a refreshing bite. For entrees our table went with the swordfish which had a great smokey flavor was well balanced. We also ordered the chicken, cauliflower steak, duck and halibut. With the duck and swordfish being the standout dishes. The duck was cooked well and had a great crispy skin. While the cauliflower steak had a wonderfully nutty sauce. Our server recommend the halibut to which 3/8 people at our table ordered. What really hooked us was the description of flakey fish and a dashi flavor. However we found our dishes to be on the drier side and without any notes of a dashi flavor. The sauce the fish came atop was quite thick and light in flavor and didn't seem to do much to elevate the dish. While the mitaki mushrooms seemed to be a bit on the salter side which completed contrasted the fish, making for a somewhat disjointed meal. Although the quality of the ingredients were amazing as the snap peas were perfectly crunchy and sweet we found this particular dish to not quite deliver. After finishing up our entrees the sun did seem to encroach and start blinding half our table. We did ask the server if there were shades but there wasn't much the staff could do about the sun. Overall some of our party was left with a dissatisfied experience as some dishes didn't seem to excite as much as others.

Yelp
Rewarding ourselves after running errands all morning. What a lovely discovery of a beautiful restaurant hidden in the valley - Forum at Meadowood. Fantastic duck risotto and braised short ribs over papadelle. Delightful ahi poke. Attentive and personable table service.

Yelp
Bougie brunch? YES PLEASE! Aesthetic - 10/10 If I could have their interior designer come and decorate my home, I absolutely would! Everything is perfectly light and airy when buried among the trees, you feel like you've escaped from reality. Staff - 10/10 Everyone was incredibly kind, from the attendant in the parking lot to our waiter to the mimosa cart bartender, we loved every minute! Our order: - G3 Live Cold Pressed Juice (10/10) - Delicious, healthy way to get some greens in before the party starts! - Coffee (10/10) - Simple, balanced, a go-to for any brunch setting. - California Omelette (10/10) - Gosh my mouth is watering writing this review! It is filled to the brim with bacon, cheese, and veggies. It is so rare that artichoke comes in an omelette and now I want it always! - Sourdough toast w/ berry jam (a side to the omelette) - I want this jam for the rest of my life! So tasty and crisp I could've eaten every slice and typically I don't eat side toast! - White peach mimosa (10/10) - This sounds like a sugar bomb but they freshly juice grilled peaches and WOWOWOW it was so balanced and delicious! I could've ordered many more but I had to contain myself! Whether you're a Napa Valley local or visiting the area, pop by and treat yourself to a bougie brunch at Forum!

Yelp
Date of Visit: 6/10/2023 The Forum is a newly opened restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner at The Meadowood Resort in Napa Valley. Located next to the reception area and the tennis court, The Forum has a courtyard with fountain, covered patio and spacious indoor dining area. We visited The Forum after our Terrace Tasting experience at Joseph Phelps Vineyards, and enjoyed the dining experience here. Lavender + Honey $16 I got the Lavender + Honey cocktail with Wheatley Vodka, White Cranberry, Melon, Lavender, and Cane Syrup. Super cute with a stem of fresh lavender on the glass. 2019 Domaine Carneros, "Ultra Brut", Carneros $18 Grilled Octopus $32 I ordered the Grilled Octopus with fingerling potatoes, nectarines, and guajillo sofrito sauce. The plate was decorated with flowers which were super pretty. Duck Confit Hash $29 We also ordered the Duck Confit hash with a side of sour bread and sunny-side up eggs on top. On the plate there were also Yukon Golds, bell peppers, and quinoa, with a splash of sage hollandaise on top. 2017 William Cole, "Smoking Gun" Cabernet Sauvignon $28 Cafe au lait Creme Brulee $12 The creme brulee was good with vanilla bean chantilly and biscotti. On top there were candied orange peels to balance the sweetness. Idle Hands $16 We also got a glass of the dessert cocktail. The Idle Hands is made with banana liqueur, coffee liqueur and bailey, with vanilla cream and chocolate on top, making it a perfect dessert wine that went well with creme brulee.

Yelp
Beautiful, gorgeous space. Accommodating, helpful staff. Perfect glassware, dishes, linens, and silverware. Main dishes and starters were delicious though I'd say the salt baked celeriac starter was more like an amuse bouche, it was VERY small, more like a 3 bite dish. The bread service was wonderful. The main reason for 4 stars versus 5 is that the desserts were lacking. When are high end restaurants going to give as much attention to dessert as they do everything else? The Valrhona chocolate mousse was shaped like a rock and it kind of was- that feeling of coming right out of the refrigerator. No need to tell us it was Valrhona because it wasn't good. The pear crisp was kind of good, but it was very sweet, too sweet. Fix your desserts and Meadowood Forum will be 5 stars for me!

Yelp
Went there for the new years eve dinner and all in all wasn't impressed at all. It started out great with champagne and "tater tots" with caviar as appetizers. It was crispy and delicious. Hamachi: Good pairing with pomegranate and apple, but the fish was ever so slightly fishy. Not the best quality. The tables around me didn't finish it. Lobster agnolotti: This was good, agnolotti stuffed with sweet meat and the saffron sauce was good too. One of the good courses, but sadly you only get 6 agnolottis. Grilled new york strip: This was horrible and SO DRY and BLAND. The steak was chewy and tough, so so dry and had absolutely no seasoning or juice in the middle. It was terrible. The red wine sauce was whatever and didn't taste much like anything at all, very diluted. Mushrooms were meh and as a mushroom fan I was disappointed. I glanced around and many tables left theirs unfinished. People were also questioning the cut of the steak. (I ate mine because well, I was hungry, the courses are definitely not enough to fill u up and for $150, you're best better off going to an awesome michelin place that actually feeds u like Gary Danko) Poached pear sponge cake was decent and the only saving grace, but by then you're too disappointed by the steak to redeem the experience. Would not return. Service was also really slow with repeated reminders of a drink I ordered. Repeated reminders that we asked for the check. Took 20 mins or so to get it.

Yelp
Our first night at Meadowood and we had a very nice dinner here. a year ago we thought the food was just OK but this time it was excellent. we started with the crudittetes a very large plate of crisp fresh veggies with dips. my wife enjoyed the bran into, a very large portion. I had the chicken, something I don't usually order out, at the suggestion of the som. it was moist and delicious. skipped dessert except for a decaf espresso. Oh, and no corkage so we bought a (sacrilege) Willamette Valley Pinot which drank well with both our mains. looking forward to breakfast!

Yelp
Forum is a beautiful casual restaurant at the Meadowood resort, located near many wineries. This review is to compliment Julio, our incredible server, who handled a group of 5 with ease. Our group had dietary restrictions, a birthday celebration, time constraints based on our next wine tasting, and a Spanish speaking abuela. Julio was so knowledgeable about the menu and incredibly patient with all of the questions and requests made. He truly went above and beyond! Before your brunch main dishes, I recommend ordering the pumpkin scone, homemade croissant, and cinnamon rolls - if you have friends to share with. Everything was delicious!

Yelp
I'm not a yelper, but I felt the urge to make a review. My family and I had a wonderful experience at Forum. Our server and the rest of the staff were amazing and went above and beyond. Our Thanksgiving meal from start to finish is one of the best I've ever had dining out. We came midday, which I highly recommend because they got very busy after 5 PM. I also wanted to mention something that we observed. There was a large group that came in the evening and they were not in a good mood. They were bickering amongst themselves and arguing. Their poor, friendly waitress, got the brunt of that, I just had to come on here and say something because people like that should not come to a restaurant and treat service workers like that, especially on the holiday. Especially when they have given up time with their family to be here and to provide great service to us. From what we observed that waitress did nothing wrong. And the group continued to argue amongst themselves.

Yelp
We were looking for a good restaurant that would take us at an earlier time, as we were very hungry ... I called, they said " come on down!" We arrived to a lovely table, and the sweetest waiter, Tony. He had a smile for us and an answer to all our questions and requests. We loved our meal so much, I wanted to kiss the chef, Scott Livingston! They brought out this beautiful basket of bread very soft French bread with some flatbread crackers with gorgeous seasoning garlic butter balsamic vinegar and olive oil, so so good We brought A bottle of wine, we enjoyed the endive octopus with chili oil. Hands-down one of the most delicious dishes ever! The shaved zucchini, carrot salad, As well as the Lebanese chicken with seven spice and yogurt ajus ( so so delish) We realize this is a newish restaurant that is actually a temporary ... they will be creating a bigger restaurant just down the road... it is tucked into the side of the mountain , little bit difficult to get to in the dark. But, completely worth it... Wonderful service... great tasting food...

Yelp
A beautiful spot for lunch, menu was pretty simple. The service was wonderful and made sure everything was to our liking. Order the fashioned forward and it was delicious. Not too sweet and the flavors really open up each sip you take. Order the flat bread that is off the menu and was recommended by our server. Which was really good. Nice crispy flatbread with bacon and some greens and I don't know what the sauce it was it was good. The petit filet was okay. Cooked medium rare, the taste of it didn't really stand out in any way. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. Will come back again.

Yelp
Our group of four adults and five children had the tasting menu for the grown ups and all the usual items for kids, chicken tenders, mac & cheese and the cheeseburger. We all, kids and adults, were very very happy with our meal. I'm sure the price will go up as I can only see this Napa restaurant only get more popular. But the tasting menus, meat or vegetarian, were under $100 and the wine pairing was only $50. So it was under $150 for five courses, that includes a generously sized amuse bouche. Ordering a la carte is also an option. At the beginning of the meal when we asked to do the tasting menu our server told us they like to surprise you with what you get to eat. It was kind of fun because when they bring you your meal, they don't tell you what the ingredients are unless you ask. Needless to say I'm incredibly happy with my meal. Our server Barbara was very helpful and friendly, the auxiliary staff professional and quick and the bartender had nice recommendations and made some tasty cocktails. The vibe is casual nice, I wouldn't wear shorts or flip flops but a nice collared shirt or sweater will do. The restaurant is one big room so it felt very spacious but the floral arrangements made it feel cozy and elegant in a modern way. I would definitely eat here again.

Yelp
This is an understated gem out in Napa/St. Helena!! Belongs with a 5-star resort hotel, but the original restaurant was a part of a Michelin starred room that burned down when they had the fire in that area. They are temporarily operating in a space, but the service and food were spectacular! Our greeter (Carlos) was very gracious and accommodating since we needed to push our reservations from 5pm on a Tuesday evening to 5:30pm because WE were running late. Server was Daniel (and assistant Dio) is off-the-hook with his demeanor/top-notch attitude! Unfortunately, we did not take any pictures as we were plainly put VERY HUNGRY. Had the gem salad (simple and tasty and dressed well), scallops aguachile (incredible pairing of fresh raw scallops w/ granny apple), seared octopus (perfectly tender and the white bean sauce was a bread dipper IYKYK). Main was Snapper Veracruzana and the King Salmon Plancha (both perfectly cooked and paired with vegetables; I REALLY liked the fingerling potatoes with the olives/capers). Would recommend the brussel sprouts for sure to accompany. Since it was my wife's birthday, they spotted us the Cocoa Creme Pie. And, for my chocol-holic Mrs., it was the creme-de-la-creme for her special day. F&B Mgr, Jose, came by to say hello and we commented on the level of service provided by all. They belong to Relais & Chateaux for most of their training in addition to the strict guidelines of Meadowwood resorts. We will be back again!!! THANK YOU!!

Yelp
We've had some of our favorite meals at the resort, so we were ecstatic when they offered a high tea for Valentine's day weekend. We reserved high tea for four people. The setting was beautiful and tea sandwiches and crudites were delightful. However, when the tower of sweets was brought out, there were several items with only two servings, and others, with four. We let a junior server know that some items were missing and he let us know that the kitchen ran out of some items, and that he'd send our waiter over with more if they could find additional servings in the back. Our waiter returned, letting us know that some items were only intended for two servings instead of four, and that the restaurant "gifted" us with additional servings on some items of which we had four. Never felt gaslit as a diner until now. So disappointing to receive this level of service from such an establishment.
